L'emplacement est correct et non loin de la place principale..15 mn à pied...Le personnel est à l'écoute et très aimable.

Attention, certaines chambres sont sans fenêtre, non signalées sur la réservation. ..les chambres du rez-de-chaussée...Ils ne font pas de petit déjeuner mais la chine VIPS est à 100m.

Het hotel ligt op een idealen locatie, dicht bij het park waar constant iets te doen is. Van danslessen tot een voetbaltoernooi tot zelfs een repeteerde band.

Het is wel echt héél basic, dus is natuurlijk ook de prijs dat je ervoor betaald. Het is verouderd maar nog zeker in orde.

Silencio al dormir y despertar. Recepción todos muy amables especialmente César. Excelente ubicación. Todo perfecto.

La habitación es muy básica; pero limpia. Solo una toalla. Sin alfombra de baño. La habitación no tiene ventanas a la calle. Las tiene a la recepción y el ruido es insoportable desde muy temprano. La puerta de la habitación está a un metro de un sofá donde se sientan a hablar los huéspedes y a dos metros de una cocina y un restaurante.

Primera noche con mucho ruido en habitaciones A y B, con el cambio posterior una magnifica estancia.

The adjoining restaurant, which is independent of the hotel itself, has excellent, reasonably priced breakfasts. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

This was a wonderful, centrally located and quiet spot to stay; it's really easy to walk to Centro from this location. Mario at the front desk was awesome - very helpful and professional. The front desk staff speak perfect English and the housekeeping staff take extra care in ensuring everything stays clean. I would definitely stay here again!

Trato amable por parte del personal. Está limpio en general, pero los cubre cama tenían algo de polvo y el baño no funcionaba muy bien. Pero en general bien. Si regresaría.

The staff was great and the place was very clean and safe. However the bathroom while very clean is very dated.

Room was small but I guess I got what I paid for.

Great location, close to the park and the bus terminal, lots of bakeries and coffee shops around. The staff are friendly and always available, even through Whatsapp. We were very comfortable here. We even could leave our big backpacks for a few days while we went on a hike.

Your experience will vary on which rooms you get. In the beginning we were in the room facing the restaurant which got a bit loud as the walls are very thin. The next time we stayed, we got another room, which was a lot nicer to stay in, facing the inner courtyard.

We had a wonderful stay at hotel Don Nino. Service was excellent. Room (comfort studio) was large and clean. Hot water worked well. We did not use the kitchen facilities so cannot comment but seemed well stocked. Location was excellent - very busy park across the street and right on the corner of the centro area of Oaxaca. Felt very safe. Only negative was that the room did not have a safe.

El hotel tiene una ubicación muy buena, se pude ir caminando a todas partes. El personal es muy amable. La comida en el restaurante muy buena.

Pasamos una estancia agradable. El personal fue muy atento. Las habitaciones no están muy aisladas contra el ruido; podíamos escuchar la tele, música o conversaciones de otros cuartos. El servicio de lavandería no estaba disponible durante nuestra visita.

Buena locación frente a parque grande, y cerca de gimnasio, Oxxo, café y restaurantes, caminar hacia el centro es un agradable por la ruta arqueológica

Muy amables todos y en relación al precio y cuarto es muy bueno. Los días que estuvimos en Oaxaca pasamos demasiado calor y no tienen aire acondicionado los cuartos, la primera noche no pudimos dormir, comentamos esto en la recepción y amablemente nos proporcionaron un segundo ventilador. Problema resuelto :) Limpio, conveniente y barato.

Bed wasn’t very comfortable, the room was dark and there was no fresh air because we had a hallway room that only had one window… into the hallway. The walls are paper thin, my husband and I stayed 3 nights and slept a total of 1 hour each night because of the loud people in the surrounding rooms, also the hallway light doesn’t go off until 12am It might seem picky but when you’re travelling for a month or longer good sleep is important. The bathroom was cleanish but there was a bit of black mould on the walls.

Not recomendable if You want to rest or sleep. Young people talking loudly, running very late at night. people at the reception desk was asked to do something, but they did not/could not

I liked that it was centrally located to everything. It was great that they had a tour company that they worked with so I did not have to leave to find one. The staff is very attentive and will accommodate with any questions or concerns that one might have.

Esta muy bien ubicada, fue buena la atencion del personal, lo que no me gusto fue que no te dan el control del aire acondicionado, pero ellos lo prenden cuando se los pides, esta muy bien el restaurante que esta en el mismo edificio.

Everything was walking distance, place was quiet and staff was helpful if anything was needed.

Staff were extremely helpful. I very much appreciated them helping me with the difficulties I was having. So convenient for location, room was great, shower was great, wifi was strong in room. Restaurant next door had delicious breakfast with great coffee.

Really friendly and helpful receptionists. Allowed us to check in early, were patient when we couldn't figure out how to use the safe and made a real effort to help us find the place we wanted to eat. They provide free drinking water from a garafon. The location is nice and it is close to the bus station for Mexico City and Tuxtla. The main down side is that none of the windows look out onto the street.

I loved that it was close enough to the Centro but yet quiet near Parque Llano. I stayed here previously and assumed that it was still a hostel where I could cook and enjoy the breakfast but they have converted it to hotel. Disappointed in that aspect

They property is located in very good locación just across from park. Had few problems with the hotel. For three days there they could never get my safe to work correctly. The towel were in such bad condition they should have been throw away.

It was very clean, the room was spacious, everything in the bathroom worked well....just a really nice property for a decent price. Also located very central. The restaurant was great with breakfast included!!👍

Everyone is exceedingly helpful, from the front desk to the wait staff to the old ex-pats who take up permanent residence. The included breakfast is a nice mix of self service for cereal, toast, or coffee; followef by a round of fruit or juice brought by the waiter, followed by a warm wntree of local variety. The place gets quiet early, which is fine by me. Thank goodness it didnt have a super "party hostel" vibe. Plenty of drinking water on site, and a dispenser to refill bottles is available 24/7. Nice fridge and kitchen on the rooftop as well. Ten out of ten best bang for your buck in Oaxaca. Will come back again and will tell everyone about it in the interim.

We stayed here for 3 nights in a double room. The checkin had a bit of issues as the hotel could not accept credit card at that time and we had to part with precious pesos. Apart from that glitch the room was quiet and clean. The breakfast was sumptuous and the staff very helpful.

We booked Don Nino ahead of time but ended up returning each time we traveled through Oaxaca. It was an easy walk to shops and the Sta Domingo plaza as well as the Zocalo. Security was not an issue. Auga caliente was a bit slow to in one room, but did warm up after letting the water run 10min or so. Air conditioning wasn't generally necessary, but we had one hot stay on a particularly warm night when staying on a room whose only window faced into the atrium. Certainly not a fancy hotel. But a nice, affordable hostel.

You will meet intresting people. Philipp is a good conversation partner and he is living there. If you are fine with basics but meeting nice people, you will be fine.

Good location, short walk to zócalo (10mins) and close to a mini supermarket for any essentials. Staff were polite and helpful. We had a private double room with ensuite which was comfortable and a good size. The room was well cleaned everyday and on the ground floor so opened out onto a small garden. Only downside to this was the table and chairs outside our room encouraged people to sit there at night and while they weren't particularly noisy it was a bit of an annoyance. Overall a good base in a brilliant city.

Just wished the WiFi was faster and that they were more activities organised to make people socialize! Otherwise everything was good.

This hostel was really friendly and helpful, located slightly away from the main shopping/food area but only by about 5-10mins and I always felt safe walking around. Bed was comfy and clean and so was the bathroom.

This is a superior hostel. I took a chance on potentially sharing with 9 others but ended up with max of 3 for one of 3 nights. English speaking staff very friendly and helpful. Facilities include a rooftop area for relaxing and self-catering. Great breakfasts, hot water on demand and space. Restaurant on ground floor open 'til 17:00 then a bar. Wifi tends to crash but as there are 2 banks of PCs laid on free, there is no chance of being out of contact. Best kept secret in Oaxaca, itself the nicest town I've been to in Mexico. Thanks guys.
