Struttura tipica, situata in posizione strategica e molto tranquilla per riposare la notte. Camera pulita e ogni mattina l’hanno messa in ordine quando uscivamo.

Wat een prachtige kamer was dit! Echt met zorg ingericht, heel sfeervol, een heerlijk bed, zachte dekbedden, prachtig uitzicht op de bomen en mooie huizen. Wat ik ook erg fijn vond was dat je zowel een magnetron als een waterkoker had. Verder veel koffie en thee, niet maar zomaar 1 zakje wat je normaal ziet en ook meer dan genoeg melkbuiltjes. Supermooie badkamer, mooie vloeren. En het allerbeste: allerhartelijkst personeel, niet de geijkte vragen van 'waar kom je vandaan' maar gewoon een oprecht gesprek. In de kamer naast mij was een of andere muts popcorn in de magnetron aan het poppen maar dat ging mis en het brandalarm ging meerdere keren loeien, de hele verdieping was wat mistig. Meteen kwam het personeel helpen, bleef kalm en het dakluik opende automatisch. Ik zou het volledig begrepen hebben als ze de gast op het matje hadden geroepen maar ze bleven vriendelijk en waakzaam.

Anche i mezzi sono utilizzabili comodamente e molto comodi se non si vuole andare a piedi. Il personale è super gentile, molto disponibile e attento. Sono stati molto accoglienti e ci hanno permesso di lasciare i bagagli sia all'arrivo, in attesa del check-in, sia nella giornata del rientro.

Le camere sono molto piccole e risultano un po' scomode per muoversi, tuttavia sono pulite visto che ogni mattina vengono rifatte. Nel complesso, per un viaggio di 3-4 giorni a Londra, vanno bene. La struttura in generale non è moderna, ma questi sono gusti personali!

Nice, very clean, close to the city and helpful staff.

The location of the hotel was really good. Very accessible to Hyde park and Paddington, the surrounding area felt very safe and the streets was rather quiet. Also very affordable, if you are staying in London for a day or 2 I would reccommend.

I felt like the room was quite small, there wasn't enough room for me to sit down as there was no desk or chair, I could only lie in my bed if I wanted to relax.

La posizione è ottima,5 minuti a piedi dalla stazione paddington, lungo un viale alberato. Zona tranquilla, anche di sera, piena di ristoranti pub e negozietti Ottimo la presenza del bollitore, microonde, frigorifero tè & caffè in stanza!

La stanza è veramente piccola, pure il bagno. Poco spazio per girare. Però c’è un armadio a muro grande in camera

Personal war freundlich und immer erreichbar. Zimmer war modern ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Wir konnten vom Hotel aus zu Fuss London erkunden und die Ungebung war sehr ruhig.

Das Zimmer war im Untergeschoss mit keinem Fluchtweg. Somit sehr dunkel und die Sicherheit bei einem möglichen Brandfall hat uns Sorge bereitet. Es gab kein Frühstück, obwohl auf Booking.com so beschrieben.

Habitación pequeña. Nos tocó la última planta y era un horno, no tiene aire acondicionado, solo un ventilador y en días de calor como han hecho era un infierno. No tiene ascensor así que 8 tramos de escalera estrecha con las maletas. No tenía armario ni apenas sitio para dejar la maleta. El agua fría por la noche no existía, solo salía caliente. Super caro para lo que da.

Room was small but more than adequate for one person. Large fan was a plus as the room had only one airshaft window. I was ostly out and about. Refirgerator and microwave were spotless and worked. Shower pressure and temp were perfect. Lots of pillow choices. Short (2 block walk) to Paddington station. One block walk to good selection of affordable restaurants.

Directions for the shower would have been nice. I can see some folks being a bit confused as to what cotntrolled what with the rain shower

The room and bathroom were small but not claustrophobic. All you needed was there. Comfy beds, we were 3 people in a triple and it was ok. Very good area, with lots of restaurants and other shops, good transportation, good connections also.

People discussing late in the night in front of the hotel and disturbing us. No AC in the room so the window was opened because of the heat.

Staff were very friendly, and the place felt secure and in a good location. Kettle and microwave were great as we were travelling with a toddler.

Rooms were much tighter than we anticipated. Probably okay for a couple or single traveller.

La amabilidad del personal. Nuestra habitación estaba en el segundo piso y al día siguiente nos cambiaron al Ground floor para que mi madre no tuviera que subir las escaleras. La limpieza es impecable. Siempre reservamos en esta calle por lo bonita que es y la cercanía a Paddington, pero sin duda este será nuestro hotel de referencia a partir de ahora.

Had everything we needed, really nice location, very affordable.

The location was great. Had a microwave.

The room is very small. What we saw online was very different to what we received. Was very difficult for 2 people to move around at the same time. The room we stayed in is suitable for 1 person or people with no luggage and very short term stay. The bathroom is ridiculously small. You could literally sit on the toilet and wash your hands in the basin at the same time, that's how close the basin is to the toilet. Could probably put your feet in the shower as well while on the toilet. They do not have a lifts, only a very very narrow staircase. We had large heavy suitcases which we had to lug up the stairs. IMO, the stairs are a bit of a hazard. We were booked to stayed for 4 nights but left after 2. Not worth the price!

Es gibt kein Fahrstuhl. Ich hatte mein Zimmer in dem obersten Etage ( 4. oder 5. ) die Treppe ist auch relativ eng! Es war total schwer für mich mein Koffer hoch und runter zu tragen!

Kind manager gave us a ground-floor room and stored our baggage Check-in and check-out was very easy. Location is 1.5 blocks walk to Paddington Station. Bed was firm and comfortable.

This was a very, very basic accommodation. I knew it would be in one of these Georgian Townhouses (I'd stayed in this neighborhood before) without an elevator or A/C. But I did not know that there were no public rooms at all. the only thing to do was go to our room and stay in it, or leave the building. The cleanliness was excellent, when the conditions are taken into account. But the scratched floor, shower door that won't close, telephone that is not plugged in; the very out-of-date synthetic panne velvet bedspread and pillows from the 70's and too bright chandelier without alternative lighting make it less comfortable than it could be.

I have stayed at a nearby hotel several times, but they had no vacancies so I tried this one. Positives - great position for Paddington the staff were friendly and helpful good standard of cleanliness 24 hour access

The negatives Single rooms are on the fourth floor/no lift (receptionist took my suitcase up and down for me) but factor that in if you are in your 60s like me No aircon (fan provided) and jn the recent weather, it was very hot and airless in the room. The property is beginning to look like it needs a makeover.

The hotel was clean, well maintained and very comfortable, making it a great place to relax after exploring London. The location is also very convenient, with excellent transport connections. Good location, walking distance from the underground and several bus stops. Really small room as on the pictures, which is fine, but there is no AS, in 30+ degrees when we were there the heat is unbearable in the room. The staff was kind and welcoming.

Old furniture in general a refurbishment would be needed for the whole hotel and AC for the summer heat.

Overall for a budget hotel it’s fine. Definitely need to fix the door lock and handle. The door was unlockable from inside.

I am a former regular guest who stayed here monthly for business, and I strongly advise caution before booking this property. While the location was convenient, the management is highly unprofessional and hostile toward basic customer feedback. Facilities advertised as standard on booking platforms, such as microwaves and ironing boards, are routinely missing from the room upon arrival. I frequently had to chase staff for these basic items, and on one occasion, management expected me to haul the missing equipment into the room myself late at night. Furthermore, when I raised concerns about these missing facilities, management falsely claimed they had upgraded me to a double room, when in reality it was the exact small single room I had originally booked and paid for. The on-site management is entirely unable to handle constructive feedback. When issues were raised regarding flickering lights and missing amenities, the response from leadership was rude, aggressive, and highly defensive. Ultimately, after I left an honest review detailing these issues, the hotel retaliated by messaging me to cancel my future bookings. I had already intended to cancel them myself, as I have no desire to stay at a venue with such poor standards, but potential guests should be aware that if you complain about this hotel failing to provide what is advertised, management will attack your character rather than fix the problem. Avoid this establishment if you expect standard hospitality, accurate room descriptions, or professional service.

Everything was amazing. Since we arrive to the hotel, the staff was amazing. We stayed with a little boy and they arranged everything for him. The size of the room was ok for us 3, the location was amazing, and everyone at the hotel was really helpful for our stay at London. We will definetly go back.

L'emplacement est vraiment top, et les alentours super animé si vous aller vers le centre ville. J'ai beaucoup apprécié l'honnêteté de ce qui est décrit dans l'annonce booking.com ainsi que les commentaires des personnes présentes tout aussi honnête. Ce qui conforte encore plus avis d'être aussi positif sur l'hôtel. La propreté de l'hôtel franchement ainsi que son emplacement sont les deux plus gros point fort de l'hôtel qui pourrai mérité une 3ème étoile pour ma part. Tout le service minimum était bien présent ainsi qu'un frigo qui n'est clairement pas négligeable super bonne idée ce qui lui fait rapporter des points en plus de satisfaction.

Le seul bémol c'est qu'il manquait la climatisation car en temps de canicule assez dure. Mais il était clairement notifié sur l'annonce et pour palier il y a un ventilateur qui a plus que la possibilité de fonctionner pendant très longtemps. Donc c'est le seul bémol auxquels l'hôtel ne peut pas être réellement tenu pour responsable.

Location is good, and that's the only positive

I have been a regular customer of Classic Hyde Park Hotel London since April 2025, but my recent stay was very disappointing because of how the hotel manager handled my complaint. The room was missing advertised facilities, especially the microwave, which was important because I am diabetic and had brought suitable food to manage my blood sugar. There was also a flickering spotlight (a video evidence can't be attached ), but the main issue was the manager’s disrespectful attitude when I raised these concerns. The manager was rude and dismissive. He interrupted me, called my concerns “childish issues”, told me to “book somewhere else”, and ended the conversation by hanging up. I felt ignored and disrespected. A courtesy microwave was later arranged, but it was left outside my room and I had to bring it in myself, which did not feel professional. Overall, my main disappointment is the manager’s disrespectful behaviour and attitude towards a genuine complaint.

Cama confortável, ventilador forte no quarto, frigobar, chaleira elétrica, padrão de hotel simples em Londres, além razoavelmente de bem localizado. Pegamos em uma promoção, então valeu muito pelo preço pago (menos de £70).

O quarto era bem apertado, e a cama era casal pequena. Fomos com uma criança pequena, a qual eles não cobraram, mas foi apertado para dormirmos todos na mesma cama. Não havia opção de cama extra ou outro quarto. Além disso nos deram apenas duas toalhas, então a criança teve que compartilhar com um de nós.

Room was so small and they gave us the top floor room. Because of the heat wave the room night and day all the time was hot. Could not sleep did not even stay at the room used only for sleeping. They had the big flat screen TV but not a air conditioner in the room. They did not change the room and did not find any solution for the heat.

It’s in a very good position for Paddington station though my satnav took me a long route from the underground station to the hotel when I arrived and I am not used to London. It’s on a busy road but as I was on the 3rd floor it only disturbed me once or twice. The room and en-suite was not very big but was ok for a short stay. There was a large fan on the wall as the night was very hot. There was a fridge in the room which really helped in the heat and a few toiletries. A member of staff carried my small suitcase upstairs for me and was polite. There was a decent size TV on the wall. The bed (there were two) was comfortable enough.

I was on the third floor and there is no lift though I had booked late and very nearly managed to get it changed to a lower room. As I do have some mobility problems I didn’t leave the room until the next day as there are a lot of stairs even up to the small reception area. Though grateful for the fan it was very loud unless on a very low setting.
