Our room was positioned right on the corner of a busy intersection. If it's your first time in Rome, you should know that honking is very common here. Also, on the morning of our second day, the host texted us saying he needed my ID to complete the check-in. It wasn't a huge problem because I was expecting it, but it would have been nice to know upon arrival when we would meet.

Reception no manned all of the time but after suffering a problem (nothing to do with the room) they were very understanding when we left them a note. I would certainly use again if in the area.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026L’estada ha estat correcta en general. L’hotel compleix amb el necessari. La ubicació és molt bona, just al costat del Vaticà, cosa que facilita molt poder visitar la zona a peu. El llit era ample i còmode. Com a petit aspecte a millorar, estaria bé disposar d’un llençol, ja que actualment directament hi ha l’edredó nòrdic, i pot resultar una mica calent. També és d’agrair que l’habitació disposi de nevera, ja que és un detall pràctic, especialment durant els mesos de calor.
L’estada ha estat correcta en general. L’hotel compleix amb el necessari. Pel que fa a la neteja, és correcta, tot i que podria ser una mica més acurada. No és que estigui brut, però hi ha marge de millora perquè la sensació general de neteja sigui millor. Com a aspectes a millorar, destacaria sobretot l’hora de sortida, ja que les 10 h em sembla una mica aviat. També estaria bé disposar d’un espai específic i segur on poder deixar les bosses amb tranquil·litat després del check-out. Pel que fa a l’aire condicionat, durant la nostra estada a Roma les temperatures eren molt elevades i l’aire gairebé no es notava. Més aviat feia l’efecte d’un ventilador, de manera que hauria estat d’agrair una millor climatització. En general, però, l’estada ha estat correcta.

Reviewed Jul 9, 2026The location is very good - a few minutes of walking to Vatican, also possible to walk to city centre or use metro which is very close to the hotel. There are many restaurants nearby. The room itself is big, has A/C. Upon check out we were able to store the luggage.
Water in bathroom smelled. The room is quite dark even in the morning.

La casa era fresca e la camera dotata di frigo, di aria condizionata ed un armadio vero. Spazi adeguati e confortevoli.

Reviewed Jun 18, 2026The location is good, and it was fairly quiet in our room. The host was pleasant but only there for a couple of hours in the morning.
The 'small twin' room (as described on Booking.com) was REALLY small, and not big enough for two people. We couldn't even open our cabin-size suitcases without moving the two chairs from the room into the corridor. The room was also quite dingy, especially around the tea making area, and the wardrobe had seen better days with just had a few old, mis-matched hangers. It was more like a room in a hostel than a hotel. We asked to change but unfortunately it was fully booked. Beware of booking a small twin room!

Acqua della doccia con pochissima pressione e necessitava di tanto tempo prima riscaldarsi. Appartamento un po' vecchio, che senza dubbio necessiterebbe di una rinfrescata. Addirittura nelle stanza si avvertiva un fastidioso odore di muffa.

Would be easier for guests if reception could be open for longer during the day 10-12 is a short window to get back to speak to a staff member if you are already out for the day exploring also there was no light working on the staircase up to the accommodation which was very scary as it was a marble staircase in the complete darkness and also a little unsettling if you met someone on the stairs
