Central location at the junction of Osbourne Road / Jesmond Road, alongside The Holiday Inn where you collect the key cards. Good off-street parking. Great room facilities & enough to self-cater if you wish. Although on the main Jesmond Road, the room was very quiet.

Nothing comes to mind but worth flagging that there is no lift & potentially you could be on the third floor (as we were!)

Location was perfect. Dead easy to get to the Metro station and very easy to walk into the centre of town. Apartment was lovely, just the right size and amenities for what we needed.

Parking could have been a smoother process, the parking app didn't work and wouldn't let us book for multiple days and the people on reception didn't know how to help as it was third party parking on site.

Das Apartment 898 ist sehr abgenutzt. Der Teppich und das Sofa sind voller Flecken-Sofa konnten wir somit nicht nutzen. Möbel sind abgenutzt. Kleiderschrank war fast ganz voll mit anderen Sachen, so dass dieser nicht wirklich genutzt werden konnte. Gardinen dreckig und lassen sich teilweise nicht bewegen.

La proximité d'une station de métro (2min). Excentré, mais à 20-30min à pieds du centre et des quais. Personnel d'accueil agréable (nb : le check-in se fait à côté via Holiday Inn).

La propreté générale de l'appartement : - Des traces sur le fauteuil et les chaises - Une odeur de vin renversé sur la moquette - Des traces de peintures - Des traces de front sur les fenêtres - Cheveux sur le lit Néanmoins la literie était propre.

The apartment needs updating. It felt dirty. Dishwasher was broken which you could clearly see was for a very long time... it smelt disgusting. Two broken loose tiles in bathroom Sofa had debris and multiple stains throughout so did kitchen chairs. Bins were not emptied daily (even though we placed sign to clean outside) and when the bed was made (once during our stay) they had trapped our clothes underneath which was just strange.

The room was spacious and pleasant, and so was the shower room. The kitchen corner had all the essentials. Really convenient location.

I had a room almost at the top of the house. Good exercise but climbing the stairs with luggage was a little demanding.

Didn't have any complaint, it was a lot more than what I was expecting...very tidy, the kitchen part had everything you need... and it was part of the hotel so if booked breakfast...which was very reasonably priced you just walked in ..and breakfast buffet had everything.

The check-in was via the Holiday Inn next door and I could use their car park. It was very well managed and I was able to get dog bedding and toothpaste through the Holiday Inn. The room was up several flights of stairs and that building wasn't connected to the car park so i had to walk up and down several levels for both. There is a lift for the car park in the Holiday Inn though. I had asked for a dog bed and bowl when booking but there was nothing in the room. The kitchen facilities could have been more. There's a microwave/ oven, a toaster and a kettle. No hob. Overall it was very good, great location just 2 minutes walk from Jesmond Metro.

Suspicious white stains on couch,looked like bleach stains,hopefully it was bleach.Chairs had stains on them,chipped doors,ripped wall paper in bedroom.Dirty cupboards on inside. Gang of young men,maybe teenagers trying to gain access through key pad claiming they had a room key.Tried to get me to give the access code.Carefull to hide there faces.No luggage, highly suspicious.Reported this to night manager.Manager claimed the building had been checked & no problem. I later witnessed through peep hole one of these individuals enter the apartment next to ours. So if you want to stay in a apartment that rents out to groups of dodgy teenagers/young men with no luggage & acting suspicious this is the place for you. I grew up in the most violent society in the world & this bunch were up to no good.So if you do stay there just watch your back

Convenient for what I needed Good coded and CCTV security to enter the property

The fire escape/door was open on arrival giving public access to the building which meant that strong security at the main door was effectively useless. I advised reception staff who said it was used when people went outside to smoke but they should close it again. I closed it, but the following morning, cleaners had opened it and wedged it open with cleaning fluid bottles. I advised reception staff on check out and it was responded as being common practice.

Ruhiges Zimmer im Erdgeschoß, großes, gut eingerichtetes Bad, jedoch könnte das Zimmer selbst eine Modernisierung gut vertrgen.

Facilities were good, water in room and the space was perfect for us with a teenage daughter.

Parking works out expensive as need to pay daily £13 per day is expensive if staying a few nights. Aspects of the cleaning needed improving, eg. A packet of biscuits already opened and clogs of hair on the couch.

The apartment was the perfect set up for our extended family. Location was superb and ease of parking on street close by helped.

Un apartamento típico muy mono y bien ubicado en el upper side de la ciudad (A 15-20’ andando del centro). Para el uso que le dimos, más que suficiente. Si hubiésemos hecho comidas o cenas ahí, sería otra cosa. El tener el hotel al lado con restaurantes se agradece por si algún día vuelves tarde poder cenar o tomar algo. Además de entretenimiento como futbolín, diana/dardos, etc que si vas con niños es un extra.

Igual el sofá cama para un/a niño/a en el salón, ya que solo tienen una habitación y salón se queda algo justo y con el ruido que hacía la cocina no es muy óptimo para dormir. De hecho, no lo abrimos. Por otra parte, el servicio de habitaciones no era todos los días …

The whole team were friendly and welcoming, the apartment was clean with everything we needed much better than two hotel rooms. Yes the kitchen units are a little tired but everything else was perfect. It’s right next to Exhibition Park lovely for a walk, play area for children and 3 mins from the metro to access the City. Highly recommend

Nothing we highly recommend this as a place to stay

The staff were excellent throughout: courteous, helpful and clearly doing their best to resolve problems that were not of their making.

Unfortunately, the accommodation itself fell well below expectations. On our first night in room 91/2, the bed backed onto the hotel’s external air-conditioning units. The noise and vibration were so intrusive that sleep was impossible. At 11.30pm we contacted Reception and were given earplugs because no alternative room was available. The room also had very bright blue lights on the bedside reading lamps which could not be switched off, so we had to cover them in order to darken the room. We were moved for the second night, but the replacement room had a bathroom extractor fan which could not be switched off, followed by extremely loud plumbing noises from around 5am. A hotel room should, at the very least, be dark and quiet enough to sleep in. Regrettably, neither room managed that. I subsequently contacted the hotel directly to complain and give them an opportunity to respond and resolve the matter. My complaint has been completely ignored, which is particularly disappointing given the problems we experienced.

Die Apartments sind abgenutzt, schmutzig, sehr laut ( ganz besonders in der Nacht) und haben keine Willkommens- Atmosphäre. Wir sind während unserer England- Reise zehn Mal umgezogen und haben immer saubere Unterkünfte vorgefunden auch zu den unterschiedlichsten Preiskategorien. Doch das Jesmond Road können wir nicht empfehlen. Bei der Abreise hat man uns versichert eine Nachricht an Booking.com zu hinterlassen, mit der Bitte um eine Rückerstattung. Dies hat nicht statt gefunden- wir haben jedoch von Booking. com selbst eine Rückerstattung in Form einer Gutschrift bekommen. Vielen Dank dafür!

Nous avons bcp apprécié l’appartement (2 chambres, 1 sdb et 1 pièce à part pour le salon et cuisine). Le personnel de l’hôtel était très accueillant et disponibles. Le logement se trouve à moins de 5 minutes du métro. Le parking gratuit est un plus non négligeable en ville.

Nous étions à l’entrée du bâtiment et les voyageurs faisaient claquer les portes. Mais cela est entièrement indépendant de l’hôtel.

This was our second stay here. As there were 3 of us, the aparthotel was a perfect solution. We enjoyed having the extra space, the small but functional kitchenette facilities, and found it to be all round better value than 2 hotel rooms. Very clean and nicely appointed too. Also the service we received from the staff at the next door holiday inn was first rate from the excellent reception staff to the staff looking after us at breakfast. Thank you.

If we were being very picky, we’d have loved an ice box in the fridge. Also we’d have loved the facilities to stream our own Netflix or Amazon Prime accounts on the TV’s - as we wanted to watch a movie - there may have been a way but we couldn’t find it!

The apartment was very spacious. Breakfast is served until 11am, with lots of choice.

Lots of steps to the top, no lift. You have to go to the building next door to get breakfast. Many road works and one way systems.

Great property, price, location and comfort second to none.

Comfortabel, heel schoon. Kleine keuken is heel erg praktisch.

That the staff relocated us in the hotel

The studio apartment was in the loft space and was described as being 242sqft. We measured the area of the room where you could stand (including where the bed and kitchenette was!!!) and it was 8 x 14 ft. The far side of the bed was against one wall so you would have to get out of the bed half way down and stoop through the eaves to get to the bathroom. One chair and an tiny table in the so-called living area. The photo on the website completely misrepresents the room. Honestly, it is a disgrace that they even advertise it as a studio apartment.

Kitchen unit wax cramped and difficult to use.

The apartment setup was great, providing a separate sleeping space for us adults and the kids - our older child slept on the sofa bed, while the little one was provided a foldaway crib. The beds in the main bedroom were also very comfortable. The air conditioning worked well and kept the whole unit comfortably cool. The location is easily accessible by metro, and is in the same fare zone as the central station and downtown. The breakfast was amazing, and the entire staff was super courteous and kind. The room is also equipped with a kitchenette complete with a cooktop, pots and pans, dishes/silverware, a toaster, a kettle, and a dishwasher.

The one downside was that there is very little in the neighborhood in the way of restaurants or other entertainment, nor many good grocery stores. If you plan to self-cater, be prepared to drive/travel longer for the ingredients.

Appartement aan een redelijk drukke weg, maar dat merk je binnen niet. Alles netjes en het parkeren ook makkelijk. Nette service en goed ontbijt bij te boeken.

Alles war wunderbar. Sauber und ordentlich und hat eine gute Größe. Parken kann man im nahegelegenen Parkhaus und in die Innenstadt läuft man ein paar Minuten.

Tutto perfetto. Corrispondente alla descrizione, comodissimo check in e check out con possibilità di lasciare i bagagli in reception sia prima di uno che dopo l'altro. Stanza comoda luminosa e spaziosa.

Sinceramente è andato tutto benissimo. Forse al massimo indicherei in fase di prenotazione il piano della camera visto che essendo case senza ascensore se ti capita come noi la stanza al terzo piano, magari qualcuno può avere difficoltà a salire.

I wasn’t aware that it was holiday inn and arrived at 23.15 at address and panicked that we couldn’t get in! May be somewhere onconfirmation highlight where to get keys at holiday inn desk.

I booked months ago for my daughters graduation we stayed many times before they did not give me room we wanted said it was being returbed no signs of that ? Room they tried to give me I would not stay in as sofa was awful they eventually changed room it was better. So thanks.

Very convenient to Exhibition Park where we were heading for a gig. Room/ bed were nice and comfy.

Parking was confusing. The hotel staff did not know where we should park although agreed we could stay in drop off space. This wouldn't happen on a busier day. Water is extremely hot the hotel could sort this without too much disruption.

The location and the staff were great.

The room was very tired and shabby. When I tried to open the dishwasher door, the whole unit came away in my hand. The TV wasn't secured to the wall, when I tried to adjust it so it could be viewed from the bed, no part of the TV was secured to the mounting bracket. They supplied a single duvet for the sofa bed and a double duvet cover. I was advised by email that I would be able to pay for an upgrade at the time of check in, this failed to materialise. And Booking.com should be ashamed, they rated the apartments at 9.1 out of 10. I think I will be starting to book my stays via Hotels.com or other sites, very poor.

The location was excellent for easy access into the centre but far enough away it was a quiet stay.

There was no cutlery in the room and the dishwasher needed rinse aid and salt added and there was a bin bag and bottles and cleaning products in the communal hallway, but a quick trip to the very helpful staff at the desk inside the holiday inn soon sorted it.

Der Check-In verlief reibungslos. Wir waren etwas früher da und konnten unser Gepäck im benachbarten Hotel abgeben, wo wir auch die Schlüssel bekamen. Die Aufteilung des Appartements ist super.

Vielleicht ein ganz kleines Manko ist die Lage direkt an einer großen Hauptverkehrsstraße. Dafür aber auch in unmittelbarer Nähe zu einer Haltestelle.

Why were we moved to the Holiday Inn? Why did no one inform us beforehand about the change?

The Holiday Inn was great, and they looked after us very well, but it’s not what we booked. We booked a 2-bedroom apartment. Why the change with no advance warnjng?

Property easy to find coming off the metro

Took awhile to get used to the retro look, but it was very clean and that's what matters

Location was good! Parking was easy and free. The concept of the apartment and hotel together is a genius idea and would have been perfect for our stay but desperately needs an update! The duty manager was helpful and apologetic on both evenings.

The sofas and chairs were all badly stained so we did not sit on them as not sure what the stains were! The bed linen on the sofa bed was unclean. It had clearly not been changed from previous guest. The microwave, kitchen utensils and cleaning brush were all dirty with food remnants. The dishwasher was broken, a stained sign left on the front of it. The cupboards and area wasn't very clean at all. The bathroom was tired, with broken floor tiles, grubby and black sealant around the shower and bath. Surfaces, were unclean, and a dirty tissue was eft. The air conditioning in the main bedroom was not working. We were moved on the 2nd nights to the apartment next door but that was also a disaster as we had mouldy sheets. Again broken floor tiles, grubby and not clean. I was assured that the 2nd room would be 'deep cleaned' before we went into it. Not sure what their definition of 'deep clean' is!

Our apartment (No.2) was dark and very noisy. There was an unpleasant mechanical humming - a fan perhaps, or laundry equipment ? This was present all night. We were also very aware of movement/noise from the apartment above us. In addition - the ceiling mounted shower pressure was very poor, and the bedside peer socket did not work.

Cleanliness was an issue - the rooms really need a deep clean. We had two apartments and both were sub par, one in particular required attention during our stay.

The location was great, but the main road was very busy. Breakfast was lovely, staff was lovely, bed was comfy. Air con very welcome in this heat

I didnt realise there was no lift and we had to walk up 4 flights of stairs with all our luggage. Shower was hanging off the wall, bedroom curtains were hanging off the rail, the kitchen cabinet was very grubby and old and didnt have any overhead lighting so a bit dark when trying to do anything. The pillows on the bed were too soft or too flat.

Property is in a good location, staff were really helpful.

The room we stayed in was particularly dusty, which didn’t help with my partners allergies. Considering it was hot having the windows open just added to the problem.
