The staff were great! Very helpful and accommodating which made the stay very pleasurable!

The only issue we had was not being able to check in early but because of the 24 hour reception this didn’t prove to be that much of an issue really!

Super Lage, direkt am Bahnhof. Gemütliches Zimmer mit allem was man braucht.

Das Wlan war katastroohal und man könnte sich angewöhnen in jedem Zimmer ein Kühlschrank hinzustellen. Ob es warm oder nicht ist, man würde aber gerne mal ein Getränk kalt stellen und ich finde das sollte zum Standard gehören.

Location was great, 5ish minute walk into town, super clean and staff were lovely. I didn’t have breakfast or visit any of the amenities but from what I could see everything looked good. Close to the train station which made coming back from concert really easy, about a 2 minute walk ish

Die Lage ist sehr gut um die Harry Potter Studios zu besuchen. Das Zimmer war groß geschnitten und gut klimatisiert. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und hatte eine große Auswahl.

Das Badezimmer müsste an einigen Stellen mal entkalkt werden und die Kospülung hat nicht ganz zuverlässig funktioniert.

Der Rezeptionist machte einen Buchungsfehler. Dadurch gab es Probleme bei der Abrechnung. Zudem waren wir nicht auf der Frühstücksliste. Leider kam es dadurch zu Unstimmigkeiten mit dem Hotelpersonal. Der Hotelmanager reagierte zunächst unprofessionell (eigentlich sollten Gäste zunächst von solchen Fehlern nichts mitbekommen und nicht an den Empfang zu langen Diskussionen gebeten werden mit der Bitte, ein weiteres Mal eine Zahlung tätigen zu können wegen eines offenkundigen Fehlers auf Seiten des Hotels). Letztendlich behoben sie jedoch ihren Fehler und der Manager entschuldigte sich. Diese Unannehmlichkeit hätte präventiv durch ausreichend Recherche verhindert werden können.

Everything! It was good that you could chose from the Indian Restaurant menu and the 'ordinary' menu in the main restaurant. Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly.

The children's video game table in the middle of the restaurant was annoying.

Das Hotel hatte bestimmt bessere Zeiten. Für 4 Sterne hatte ich mehr erwartet. Das Frühstück war nicht besonders ansprechend. Das Besteck war teilweise schmutzig.

A beautiful and clean hotel with excellent facilities and very friendly staff. One of the best London hotels I’ve stayed in.

Would have been nice to have meat free sausages on the breakfast menu, as many other hotels have these. Also, couldn’t accommodate our preference for 2 twin beds.

Bed was uncomfortable for a couple to sleep in. We felt that the mattress had lost its structure and didnt provide adequate support for a good nights sleep

Location was great. Watford Station just a 2 minute walk. I did drive to Wembley but it took 20 mins from hotel. Room was nice. Tv. Tea and coffee. Air con was a godsend in the heatwave.

I didnt like paying for parking. I have stopped in alot of holiday inns and never paid before. It was £12 a night (even for blue badge). The netting at the windows looked off colour. Blinds would be nice.

Close to the train station which was perfect for going to watch a concert at Wembley. Good value for money. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was also good too!

We picked this hotel based in its proximity to a train station, and it ticked the box being a stones throw away from Watford junction station, great travel times to both Warner brothers studios (less than 15minutes) and hopping on the train to Euston station (16 - 22 minutes depending on which train you travel on) The family room was spacious and perfect for our needs, beds were comfortable, shower pressure was decent and we couldn't hear any other guests.

Pillows could have been a bit better they were a bit lumpy. But that's the only negative that me and and mine had.

Die Lage und insgesamt das Preisleistungsverhältnis waren insgesamt ok.

Insgesamt für ein 4 Sterne Hotel abgewohnt. Wir haben die Erfahrung gemacht, dass sobald irgendjemand auf der ersten/zweiten Etage duschen geht, ein lautes durchdringendes Pfeifgeräusch entsteht. Zudem sehr hellhörig. Wir hatten den Großbildschirm des hoteleigenen Pubs vor dem Fenster, so dass es trotz Gardinen sehr hell war. Und insgesamt macht auch die Umgebung, der Carpark, einen eher unaufgeräumten Eindruck.

The bathroom was tired especially the architrave in the shower room where it was rotten from moisture. The hand rails were also corroded.

Me and my girlfriend enjoyed all the staff they was so friendly and helpful.

The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. During a particularly difficult moment when my daughter had a meltdown and ran off, the manager was fantastic and quickly located her using the CCTV system, which was a huge relief and very much appreciated. The breakfast was decent and what you would expect from a hotel. I've certainly had worse breakfasts elsewhere. The food being served in the bar smelled lovely, and I did have a pizza there one evening which was very good. Our room was very spacious, as was the bathroom, which made our stay more comfortable.

The room itself was quite dated. As it was an accessible room, there were some noticeable signs of wear and tear. The wood around the bathroom door was damaged and beginning to rot in places, and some of the metal grab rails were showing signs of deterioration. Overall, the room felt like it was in need of refurbishment and a thorough deep clean. There was also an issue with one of the sinks not draining properly. I also had problems with the hairdryer, which kept cutting out after a few minutes of use, which was frustrating. A minor issue, but the television was mounted slightly crooked on the wall and couldn't be adjusted, which was a little annoying.

Nice clean hotel not far from a Train station. Staff were very friendly and happy to help with anything we needed. Would like to say thank you to Gugan and Simon for sorting out our booking in which I made a error on my part.

For today amount we had to pay for breakfast, I feel there was alot of variety for vegetarians other than cereal, bread and croissants. I would like to see more of a hot food variety apart from mushrooms.

Housekeeping walked into our room at 8am without knocking on our first morning of the stay (stayed for 2 nights), we had the do not disturb hanger on the door aswell, later on in the morning, they proceeded to walk into our room AGAIN at 10am to clean the room, absolutely unacceptable behaviour when the do not disturb hanger is on the door in plain sight

Absolute value for money. Great stay for a Wembley event. The family room was large, clean & comfortable, with an unexpected cake & fruit platter waiting for us. Breakfast had everything we needed. Parking iwas easy on a Sunday check in. I would say that the stand out was the staff - they are always present & offer friendly & professional service...this made the Holliday Inn stand out from the Premier inn & other budget hotels.

Need to advise breakfast times in rooms. Don't rely on a google search - times vary

The room was clean and the hotel was quiet. It is so close to Watford which is great for transit. Also within walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. Staff were friendly.

Location in relation to Watford Junction trains into London and close to Watford shopping centre

No working safe in room and no fridge in room. It’s unacceptable not to have these working in every room in this day and age. I’m not putting my medication in the BAR fridge as they suggested - it could be tampered with. Then TV in room wouldn’t turn off and had us sleeping with bright light. Informed front desk “ we have no staff to do anything”. This was a fire risk and unacceptable. Staff did not care. This was awful.

We were meant to have a twin room but it was a double and pull out bed that was very uncomfortable. Also, we arrived at breakfast at 9.30 (half hour before the end of serving) and there was very little hot food left.

20 minutes from London by train. Great location. Every one was nice. English breakfast was great. We also had dinner twice in the hotel and the food was better than elsewhere. Also, for the 20 minute train ride from London it cost third of what it would’ve in the city. All the facilities were perfect.

It’s a tiny thing - almost not worth mentioning. But anyway. Better TV channels would’ve been appreciated. Down at the restaurant they had good ones but up in our room it was very few to choose from- they were not the same as downstairs. Still, this is basically nit picking. Our stay was great.

The only thing I would improve is that each time we come down late for breakfast (9am today) all the breakfast has run out. I had to ask for clean cutlery and wait for it to be washed and dried, I had to ask for more eggs to be cooked, for milk for my cereal. Everything had been run down and not restocked but yet breakfast was meant to be on till 10. I think this is poor

Excellent location - 3 min walk to Watford junction station and 10 min to the main shopping area. Our room was clean and spacious. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. Very friendly staff.

Just a recommendation - maybe a small fridge in the rooms would be good. Especially on hot days to put a cold drink in. You have to pay for parking in the hotel car park which isn't very big.

We loved the breakfast buffet. Anil is very cordial and took care of small details including the breakfast needs of our 10 month old toddler. Thank you for your kind help .

Was told when I first arrived by Chandra that breakfast was included. Later when I came back to actually check in, the manager, Gagan, told me I was not entitled to breakfast unless I paid. When I checked out I was told by Chandra that I should have received my breakfast vouchers. Everyone needs to get on the same page at this hotel. Wound up starving all the way to London because my family ran out of time to catch a bus. Otherwise, the hotel was serviceable for a night's stay to visit the Warner Brothers' Harry Potter experience.
