We loved this hotel and found it very comfortable. The food was excellent, big choice at breakfast and we found the fine dining experience really good. The outstanding feature of the Venus was the staff. Everyone was so helpful. I would like to give a special thanks to Grace and Justin on reception. They were so charming to my wife and I. We really appreciated their great customer service and we highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a very comfortable stay in Baguio.

our room assigned booked at booking.com is bad. they assigned us and transferred into a mess and junk room supposedly a nice one because i paid the right price and a right room. very bad. VERY BAD. junk room.

i dont like the bldg 2 is not connected to the lobby when we checked in. It’s inconvenient when you have a baby and its raining. The bed is not comfortable. There’s no blower holder at the bathroom. your food selection during breakfast buffet is not “breakfast meals”. I suggest that there’s should be an egg station were you can choose your ingredients for omelette with live cooking & i suggest, coffee/juice/water should be offer/asked by the f&b staff when you’re already seated & i suggest that you must put some place mat, cutleries, canister and condiments at the table for a presentable look and also convenience to your guests.

Breakfast was excellent, room was clean and furnished well with all modern appliances to a high standard, comfortable bed, front door security staff very polite and helpful, lovely atmosphere and decorum in lobby, bar and dinning room, balcony view of Burnham park and Baguio very nice. House keeping very well done early every morning.

Shower drain was blocked so it flooded the bathroom but this was quickly cleared by staff. Room was a little bit compact, i don't believe there is a lift or its not working, I was charged extra when my friend decided to stay in the room which would not be the case normally in my experience, and there was a misunderstanding that I was sure I booked the queen bed room on booking.com but on arrival they said it was only the single bed room I booked and they wanted a payment to upgrade much more than the original booking so I declined this as I didn't want to argue. On checkout I was given another guests paper work to sign which luckily i noticed or i might not of gotten security deposit back ( 2000 pesos in cash compulsory ), only a very minor thing but did make me think they might of make a mistake with my room size due to an administration error.

It was close to the park

The hotel charged for early check in 1,500 pesos lol, they don’t have noise control policy mind you it was past 10pm already and some people where practicing for like a cultural presentation some musical instruments as well and i still need to call the reception to complain about it! Not a sound proof you can hear how noisy the corridor and the people passing by there! It was not really a relaxing stay as i couldn’t sleep due to noise! The buffet breakfast was not appealing their menu needs review , no lift in the hotel need to carry my luggage on my way to check out to ground floor.

Everything about the property was fantastic from the bellboy, housekeeping and all staff. Food in the restaurant was absolutely amazing staff very tentative and are more than welcome to assist in whatever you require. Always help if we required anything further ie iron extra towels or coffee. Had an issue with the tv but was sorted within 5 minutes form calling

There is nothing to not like about the property, only small thing was that toilets in the lobby were closed guessing under refurbishment or something

Breakfast buffet is excellent. Lot of selections. My group stayed in the restaurant for 2 hours enjoying the food. Place neat and I really like the spacious setting.

I would really looking forward for the omelet being cook in front of me included in the buffet line.

Our room is at Bldg 1 and there's no available lift.

We are requesting a full refund because we were unable to stay at the property. The property did not match the photos and description provided in the booking listing. Upon arrival, we found that no towels or toilet paper were provided, and the accommodation was very dirty and not properly maintained. These conditions were unacceptable and did not meet the standards advertised in the listing. As the property was misrepresented and lacked basic amenities, we believe a full refund is fully justified. We appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to a resolution as soon as possible.

The room had some problems with plumbing but they were quickly addressed by the staff. The cleanliness of the room could be a bit better, occasional deep cleaning such as under the beds. It would be nice to have more pillow options as the only 4 provided are too tall and hurt the neck but over all everything is very well and reasonable prices.

Lots of outside construction sounds and local roosters too loud early in the morning. Pillow is too tall for comfort.

Any hotel that requires an additional cash deposit automatically sends red flags. The shower didn't work it was either hot or cold there wasn't any way to have a normal temperature shower. The airconditioner shut it self off several times not to mention the dang thing hardly worked in the first place. Had to play around with the remote for several hours to get it to work. They didn't have private internet so if you were a guest or not you can access not to mention it didn't hardly work. Overall the stay was unpleasant and wont be staying there again.

We really liked the filtered water dispenser located just outside of the room.

If the balcony doors were better, it may block out the sound of the street traffic, which is very loud.

The location was great! Really great! Walking distance to EVERYWHERE you need to be. We enjoyed thrift shopping at night due to the fact that the hotel was near. Usually some hotels would still require taking public transportation to centers. Here, you literally just cross the street. Parking was good to! With a 24/7 guard that makes sure your car is safe.

Breakfast was meh. So much meh that we didn't bother getting breakfast the 2nd day. Though there was an egg section, however, that was it. The rest of the food was either bland or didn't stand out at all.

Location! Location! Location! The hotel is a stone throw away from Burnham Park and if you have the walking stamina for Baguio, SM mall and even Session Road is walkable. A few restaurants and stores are very near if you don't want the hustle of going to SM. They have a wide variety of dishes for their breakfast//brunch buffet with a crooner to serenade you! The staff were very helpful and courteous.

The hotel had 2 buildings and we were in the 2nd floor of the old part which did not have elevators. I only got to know that it had one in the second building which apparently connects to the old part. That was a struggle for me who have a bad knee. And we had problems with the toilet which clogs up and does not flush properly. We had to call maintenance twice to had it fixed.

Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast were great especially the brewed coffee. The hotel is clean and lovely.

The room smells mould and no elevator going to the 3rd floor. The other guest are too noisy and no consideration to other patrons and you can hear them talking loud inside thier rooms as if they’re deaf n talking at the same time , when you’re trying to sleep at 9 pm and early hours of the morning . Try to post outside the wall be respectful and considerate to other patrons and to keep the noise down.

The Stairs, that’s too narrow. That guest going up with heavy luggages. Will have to stop at platform when someone is coming down. Because they can’t fit. Stairs is also uneven in height. Dangerous Also, Not advisable for Elderly. I saw one elderly guest. Breathing Hard, holding on to the rails…pausing. For a 2story hotel…

The location is its advantage over the others.

Location is great - near central Baguio attractions. Overall impression is clean, tidy rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and good restaurant for breakfast.

Quite expensive relative to other accommodation. Value for money is questionable. Also, when we were unable to check in on time because of a local electrical blackout, and the hotel did not have its emergency generator running! Had to go away, and return late afternoon..

The room was clean and the staff are very helpful. The mentioned amenities were available and can be requested as needed. The check in and out process was very quick. Best part would be the location since it was near Burnham Park so the kids really enjoyed that part. Breakfast was good and has variety. It was great that they had live singers in their weekend breakfast. They also have free water and refilling station in the hallway.

Not sure if may elevator but 2nd floor kami, stairs lang kami. Eh hindi naman siya straightforward na 2nd floor agad, may 1st floor then may another floor pa then 2nd floor wahahaha pero maganda naman yung hotel.

We booked two (2) BURNHAM VIEW FAMILY Rooms with Balcony through Booking.com. The listing clearly stated that each room would have 1 twin bed and 1 king bed and, most importantly, a Burnham Park view balcony, which was the main reason we chose this hotel. Upon arrival, we were told we were being "upgraded" and were checked into rooms in Building 2. The rooms, however: • Had no Burnham view balcony • Only had 2 twin beds • Were noisy • Smelled strongly of fresh paint, as other floors were undergoing renovation It felt misleading and uncomfortable, especially for a family booking. I'm pretty sure, the word "upgrade" never changed its meaning overnight. We requested to be transferred to the rooms we actually paid for. Instead, we were moved to: • One Burnham view room with 2 twin beds, and • One family room without balcony that only had 1 twin bed and 1 single bed (surely, priced lower) This was nowhere near what we originally booked. We were told our reserved room type was no longer available. How does a confirmed booking suddenly become unavailable? Reluctantly, we accepted because we had no choice. Later that afternoon, I requested a refund for the room rate difference since the rooms we booked were clearly not honored. Upon checkout, we were flatly told that no refund could be given. No partial refund. No compensation. No meaningful resolution. Just a simple apology. Adding insult to injury, the staff even stated "maliit lang difference ng price" and intimated that we should not have accepted the replacement rooms offered since they have sister hotels. Lol. Very poor customer service and worst hotel experience. We expected better professionalism and integrity, but there was none!
