Location - somewhat away from the city center (20-30min by bus) Accommodation - nice, tidy, AC working fine, smells good. Late check-in. Will I visit again - I might, now that I know how it all works. There was a forgotten shaver/razor from previous guests and there was a cigarette butt on the window - this is a no-smoking room, so future guests, please do your best to keep it as clean as possible. The water is not really hot, but warm enough for a nice shower. The walls are thin, yes. We had an issue with the cold water being turned off in the room for maintenance purposes and forgotten to be turned back on - sorted it out. No cold water -> no toilet flush :) No signs of bed bugs as someone mentioned in the comments - felt really fresh and clean. Bed sheets were changed regularly. Beds were made up every day. Room seems to be cleaned daily. Asked for baggage storage service, but got no confirmation (or response at all for that matter), so assumed the request could not be accommodated at the time - that's perfectly fine. Yes, there were a couple of long black curly hairs (bathroom and bed), but it was obvious those got there AFTER the room was cleaned, so I believe those are not from prev guests - it happens. City tax is paid in cash - you leave it on the desk. Would have preferred to be able to pay via a bank transfer or Revolut, but not a deal breaker. IDs are sent via WhatsApp, which is not what is recommended by the Italian data protection authority. BUT the hotel needs to register your details, so they need it. You are supposedly protected by the GDPR. As long as they delete the photos after the registration process - you should be fine. Honestly, this could be a 10/10 stay for future guests and I hope our experience will set the right expectations.

Communication - real challenge. We were basically ghosted a day or two after the initial "check-in". Once you've gone through everything, it is not actually that bad, but it could be so much better. So, to make sure future guests have a better experience, I will walk you through what happens. You end up in front of a metal gate. You message Gianluca, as this seems to be the only workable way of communication with him: "We are here in front of the white door/gate." Someone will buzz you in. Then you walk towards a building with a "golden"/yellow door. In our case, it was down the courtyard and on the left. You message again: "We are in front of the yellow door." You wait and get buzzed in again. Once you are inside, you will get instructions to go to, say, floor 1, where there is a keypad. You should have the code already, or you can ask for it. Once you walk in, you will see 4 key holders with another code. You should have this code in one of the messages from Gianluca. You get your set of keys. The keys are colour coded and instructions are provided for which key is for which door. You unlock your room and walk in. At first glance, everything seems nice, clean and tidy. There are free drinks in the fridge and an electric kettle. Ours did not work, but it was replaced with one that we did not use. It did not seem clean enough to us, but that is obviously a personal choice. There is also a Nespresso machine with capsules, which we also chose not to use. You have instructions regarding the usage of the 2 buzzers next to the "golden"/yellow door. They are on the left of the door when you are inside. You use them for opening the yellow door and the gate.

The sheets were stained and they had curly long hair inside, luckily we didn't have to use them since it's summer. The floor was a lil dusty

Alloggio molto bello e curato situato in un palazzo signorile molto tranquillo e silenzioso. La zona è a due passi dal centro. Io mia moglie e mia figlia siamo stati meravigliosamente bene e sicuramente ci ritorneremo.

Camera spaziosa e molto pulita, stile minimal ma con tutti gli accessori (Aria condizionata inclusa) Anche nell'accoglienza non è stato tralasciato nessun dettaglio, ho trovato succhi, biscotti e caffè per la colazione! Inoltre in tarda serata ho avuto problemi con la chiave del cancelletto esterno e la struttura subito mi ha aiutata, gentilissimi.

Se proprio devo trovare un difetto: il letto un po' scomodo e rumoroso.

Розташування чудове,до музеїв Ватикану пішки 10 хв. Номер чистий, зручні ліжка. Є все необхідне : кондиціонер, гаряча вода, холодильник ,кавомашина. Капсули кави , солодощі , сік і вода поповнювали щодня. Безконтактне заселення, спілкування через Ватцап , привітний менеджер.

Не вистачає полиць і вішаків у ванній кімнаті, але це не вплинуло на загальне враження.

Staff are very poor quality, Manager is essentially uncontactable unless you chase him for it and his father decided to start an argument with me after entering the room whilst the do not disturb sign on the door. Not entirely sure why either of them thought they acted appropriately, maybe it’s a culture thing but cussing me out in Italian just because you think I don’t speak the language doesn’t make you hard, especially when you look like Italian Santa Clause

DO NOT BOOK - BEDBUGS. We had an unspeakably terrible experience with Michelangelo Vatican Rooms. We booked 3 nights here. On the third night, we found that the headboard of the bed was completely infested with bedbugs. There were also bedbug carcasses underneath the bed frame. We immediately reported the situation to the hotel, expecting at a minimum to be transferred to another room. They instead denied that the bedbugs existed--ludicrous, considering we sent photos--and said someone would check the next day. Because it was already midnight and we could not find an alternative, we had no choice but to kill as many bugs as we could, pull the bed away from the headboard, and leave as soon as we could the next day. Despite abundant evidence of the infestation, the hotel refused to provide any refund or compensation for the unhygienic conditions of the room or the hours we spent doing laundry. They went on to personally insult us and accuse us of lying, even though they eventually were forced to admit that there were, in fact, bedbugs. This was by far the worst experience we have ever had with any hotel.

Ho affittato questa camera per passare una notte a Roma dopo un concerto allo stadio Olimpico. Dista una mezz’ora a piedi dallo stadio e 20 con i bus quindi molto fattibile. Inoltre è a 10 minuti dalla fermata della metro Ottaviano, quindi ottimo anche come collegamento per Roma Termini e altro. La camera per due persone era molto accogliente. Già all’entrata dell’appartamento c’era un profumo ottimo, ugualmente in camera ed era tutto pulito. C’erano altre persone nelle altre stanze ma comunque non abbiamo sentito rumori. C’erano a disposizione caffé, té, acqua e succhi nel minifrigo. Bagno grande e pulito. Abbiamo fatto self check-in e il contatto con il proprietario è stato semplice. Non abbiamo avuto problemi ma comunque è stato molto disponibile.

Titolare scontroso. Non mi ha messo a mio agio e risposto prontamente appena arrivata in loco. Stanza rumorosa: per tutta la notte suonava il citofono essendoci il check in automatico.

Da localização, da atenção do anfitrião e dos mimos oferecidos.

Это моя первая поездка в Рим и хочу сказать что номер в отеле был чистый и уютный, никто не шумел и было комфортно находится там. + ко всему недалеко с отелем был хороший ресторан в котором готовят очень вкусную пасту, а на против отеля самое вкусное латте в моей жизни

I appreciate that we had water to drink, especially taking into consideration that we arrived late and there were no open stores.

First of all, the owner did not answer my messages at all ( only exception was when we arrived as he had to give us the info on how to get the keys) It was cold and despite the fact that it was mentioned in the booking details that we had the AC as a facility, it didn’t work ( we message the owner 2 times and asked about it - never received an answer, he completely ignored my messages). There was dust everywhere also.

Blisko centrum, cisza i spokój. Codziennie odświeżony pokój, dostarczana woda i kawa do ekspresu. Przytulne i czyste wnętrze. Naprawdę godne polecenia!

Good location, clean room.

Because there is no reception, the initial entry into the property is somewhat cumbersome. Owner/manager was rude, sarcastic, and disrespectful. Definitely did not expect or appreciate that.

Non c'era acqua calda sanitaria per cui.. niente doccia calda e quando abbiamo chiesto il motivo e la soluzione all'host..nessuna risposta. P.s. Host contattabile solo su wathsapp e mai visto fisicamente, neanche al check in che è stato fatto tramite wathsapp con dispositivi elettronici

Sehr sauber. Super unkomplizierte An- und Abreise. Es gab jeden Tag kostenlose Softdrinks in der Minibar und Kaffekapseln für die Kaffeemaschine. Sehr nahe Lage am Vatikan; lediglich 10 Minuten Fußweg entfernt.

Struttura accogliente e pulita, in una posizione abbastanza comoda, vicina alla città del Vaticano, a fermata metro e autobus. Pratica per muoversi sia a piedi e con i mezzi pubblici che con l'auto. Ampia disponibilità di parcheggio in zona. Appartamento tranquillo con quattro camere, pulizie giornaliere. Check in autonomo con guida sempre presente del titolare.

L'unico difetto forse è che non è molto visibile la struttura. Siamo arrivati di sera, con la pioggia e non siamo riusciti a trovare al primo colpo la struttura, ma per il resto nulla da dire.
