could not manage to use the TV
The food was nice and the dog enjoyed the walks
There was little amenities in the room and the bed was very small
All of the staff were very helpful, polite and they made us feel welcome and comfortable during our stay. Bartley Lodge is a lovely Grade II listed building set in beautiful surroundings. The location was good for visiting the New Forest, with Lyndhurst in around 7 minutes drive and Brockenhurst is under 20 minutes. The price of the room with breakfast was very competitive.
The room we stayed in was a little tired, but this did not in anyway effect our great stay. We are currently looking to stay again at Bartley Lodge in early 2027.
We relaxed in a beautiful hotel within beautiful peaceful grounds the staff were so helpful and friendly nothing was too much trouble Food in the restaurant was well cooked and presented , Breakfast there were so many choices You definitely had a wonderful time
The drive down to the hotel was a bit hit and miss with the potholes, but that didn't take away from the hotel at the end.
It was very peaceful surroundings. Lovely walks nearby.
The bedroom was pretty hot and had no fan.
Lovely old country house
We stayed across two rooms (9 and 33) and unfortunately encountered problems with both. Room 9 had a long strand of hair on the bedside table, no toilet roll, and a saniflow toilet that cycled through its macerating and pumping noise roughly every 20 minutes throughout the night, making for a very broken sleep. Room 33 was unbearably hot despite overnight temperatures of just 14°C. The fitted air conditioning unit was broken and had been replaced with a small portable unit and a large standing fan, a poor substitute that did little to cool the room. We checked in at 19:00, by which point the breakfast time slots were heavily picked over, leaving us with only the very earliest or very latest options. At breakfast itself, staff were unwelcoming, no smiles or friendly greeting. One of the waitresses made her feelings abundantly clear while clearing a table where two guests had simply had a cooked breakfast; the expressions on her face would have been more fitting if she were dealing with something far less pleasant. On checkout, I noticed drinks had been charged to our room that we hadn't ordered, so it's worth carefully checking your bill before you leave. I raised all of these issues with the receptionist on checkout and was met with complete indifference, as though she had heard it all before and had no interest in doing anything about it. For the price paid, we won't be returning.
Period building
The place has had no investment, the rooms were shabby, tap did not work, shower did not work, the window frames were rotten, carpets thread bare. The rooms were not serviced, and lots of noise from weddings x 2 over the stay. Avoid this one!!
Clean room , professional people working there, great food.
Old swimming pool - definitely need refreshment, restaurant tables and chairs looked old with stains, uncomfortable beds very hard
De omgeving
Het was veel te warm op de kamer terwijl buiten niet warm meer was?
The staff were friendly
Offer more choice for gluten free coeliac guests it became a nightmare at the evening meal as no one had a grasp on how to do gluten free food to a good standard
Location
Was boiling hot, not the hotels fault
Good location in a beautiful historic building, and reasonably priced compared with other hotels in the area
Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. There was no housekeeping at all during our stay. There was also no fridge in the room, and despite it being a very hot day, the fans were not working properly. The quality of the food was not good. We were also disappointed to find that the breakfast included in our stay was only a cold continental breakfast, with no hot options such as boiled eggs. The wifi was very poor too. Overall, the standard of the accommodation, facilities, cleanliness, and food was far below what we expected.
Loved how dog friendly it was. Easy access to take my dog out when needed. Staff were friendly and eager to help. Beds were comfortable and everything was very clean.
On ground floor but windows could barely open in a heat wave when cool evening breeze would have been wonderful to sleep. Couldn't reach any soap when bathing. Soap dispenser secured for showering and basin. No reasonably priced cake available when returning from siteseeing and walking. Offered evening deserts but they were pricey. Pool was not operational.
Lovely historic building and good location
Needs an update and the room was unbelievably hot. It was a warm day but it’s was to the point where we nearly left and drove home!
Uitzicht, directe omgeving, kamer was fijn
Weinig variatie in menu met name lunch
Beautiful hotel in an amazing location. Really helpful staff. Great warm pool. Great selection of drinks. Tasty food. Good mattress.
Room quite hot at night.
Location and good breakfast
We specifically booked the hotel because it had a pool, only to find out upon arrival that it was not working. Being offered the pool at another hotel is not the same experience and really affected the atmosphere of our weekend. * The room was not clean. We found a large dead spider by the window and spider webs throughout the room. I understand the hotel is located near the forest, but cleanliness should still be a priority. * Very low water pressure in both the shower and sink. * The bed was two single beds pushed together, which was very uncomfortable and not what we expected for a romantic weekend. * When I raised our concerns with the manager at reception, I did not feel they were taken seriously. I was simply told, “I will pass your feedback to management,” which was not the level of customer service I expected.
Beautiful hotel and our room was lovely
The pool felt Slimy on the floor to touch, the water had too much chemicals in it. The hotel had weddings on every day during our staff and it felt like they were understaffed. Our request for more towels and rubbish to be taken from our room was ignored, the hotel needed decorations done to it. Everything seem tired and the staff were not helpful - I had more than one request ignored completely!
Set in a beautiful location in the new forest. You have to drive into the forest to get there with wild ponies on the door step. The building is beautiful. Full of old English grandeur. The room was spacious and comfortable. Nice to have bunk beds rather than a pullout. And the shower was excellent
There were flies in the room on the first night. The air conditioning didn’t work and it was very hot. The pool was closed on arrival but we were advised we could travel to the nearby sister hotel and use their pool. When the pool was open it was good. But the pool room is dated and could do with an overhaul. The decor in general needs a bit of an update. Particularly the carpets. Most staff were extremely helpful and friendly but one staff member was slightly sarcastic and seemed exasperated at my request for fresh water and milk. The continental breakfast was delicious but lacked choice.
Lovely beautiful property nice and clean Friendly staff Nice food
I thought we’d booked a room with continental breakfast with a £10’ supplement for hot breakfast But we had to pay £25 each for breakfast. The pool was very cloudy and my 4 year old grandaughter asked why we were getting into a green pool !
The hotel is beautiful but in need of some TLC. They also need yo consider getting air conditioning installed in all rooms or provide decent fans which our wasn't. But the staff, the value for money and tge surroundings are exceptional.
The continental breakfast was really awful. It was substandard to everything else and was so sad for something that should be as exceptional as the rest of the facilities
Very friendly and helpful staff A good location for cycling in the new forest and very close to Paultons park
The swimming pool was the reason we booked the hotel and this wasn’t available for the whole stay. It was also very much in need of an update. The hotel rooms were in need of an update and a good deep clean, especially the bathrooms. The rooms were really uncomfortably hot and the fans provided were very old and didn’t cool the rooms at all, none of us slept much at all.
The staff were actually quite accommodating. The beds were great.
We went during the uk heatwave and there was no aircon at all The place is run down. We paid £259 for one night and it was dusty - the windows doesnt close properly there was no hand held shower which was super inconvenient. Breakfast was poor only one type of cheese and ham available.
Location
Twin beds only 2ft too narrow to sleep on. Included continental breakfast at £10 a head rubbish. There was a wedding in so rather disruptive of peaceful location.
Location and outside grounds.
Service was awful. Everyone complaining at dinner. I couldn’t have starter I wanted, wife given a starter she didn’t order, kids meals ordered first and came out last, and everything so slow meant a very stressful dinner for everyone. Room was made up for 3, not 4 as requested. Meant we had to ask for extra sheet and pillow and make up a bed ourselves. Cobwebs all around windows, I had to deal with 3 spiders as soon as we got in the room. Was swelteringly hot in the room! They provide a small fan which wasn’t enough in conditions, awful sleep for the whole family as too hot. In the sink the water hardly ran through the tap, and the hot tap fell apart in your hands when you tried to turn it. I never usually complain about anything, but honestly was so disappointed with the hotel, and feel deserve at minimum a part refund for what ended up being a very stressful stay.
We liked everything about this property the rooms were good so were the meals and the staff were excellent.
We took it a long time finding it because the hotel was very badly signed the wording on the sign was nearly worn off and not a stand out colour as many hotels are.
Perfect
The pool area needed a touch of paint
We enjoyed our two day stay at Bartley Lodge. The staff were excellent the food very good
Lovely location & grounds
Some areas a bit tired, swimming pool.
Not alot
Everything. Rooms bathroom small.wash basin in bedroom. Rooms only cleaned each day unless requested. Should be automatic. Won't be staying again
Lovely setting
The staff were amazing in the heat and helping out
Top quality historic hotel in beautiful estate. Warm welcome from very helpful staff. Beautifully clean and comfortable rooms. Attention to detail in decor and top quality bed linens. Delicious dining and breakfast with plenty of choice. Very eco friendly including providing plenty of cold local water refills in reusable bottles for every room whenever needed. Plus silent fans in rooms. This was very important in recent excessive heat. Secluded hotel but easy access to New Forest, local attractions and Lyndhurst. Very enjoyable. Highly recommended.
The staff and hotel it's self was fantastic we stayed last year and chose to come back as love it and we will visit again
What we was really disappointed with was the room cards to myself and my sisters room keep not working so having to keep going down to reception was very annoying. Also the morning of check out the showers would not get cold they were boiling hot she very annoying we had to have a was in the sink
Mooi hotel met zeer mooie tuin
De standaard kamer is niet echt groot maar verder wel oké
We held my mother’s Celebration of Life at Bartley Lodge. This was an excellent choice. The room was the perfect size for us, the buffet was plentiful and good quality. All the staff were very helpful.
Outside of the building is pretty and the first receptionist was great. The second room we stayed in was nice.
I booked this hotel due to visiting Paultons Park with our 1 year old. We actually viewed the hotel and considered getting married here a couple of years ago go and after this visit we are so glad we didn’t! Stayed 20th June - 22nd June Upon arrival the receptionist was really welcoming and helpful. Also worth noting the temperature outside during our stay was 28-31 degrees so hot! Prior to arrival I asked for a mini fridge to be in our room and what cooling facilities the hotel offered. No fridge in the room on arrival but the helpful receptionist sorted this quickly (they charge £5 a day for the mini fridge) and a fan was provided. We used the pool on the first day it is in need for some tlc but is functional. Beware of the steep slippery slope should you be going with little ones. Our room the first night was tired and we were on the top floor which was warm. In the en-suite the towel rail was on and we could not turn it off. We had a thermometer with us due to dressing our little one in the right sleeping things and we put it into the en-suite and the temperature was 35. We mentioned this to reception in the morning and she kindly offered us to move rooms. Asked us to pack our bags and they would move us whilst we were out for this day. Upon our return there was a new receptionist Sunday 21st June 4pm. We were received a very abrupt welcome. When we tried to explain we had changed rooms and please could we have our room key she refused due to the fact we had not paid for our stay on arrival (we had not been asked to by the previous receptionist). We were hot, tired, thirsty and needed to get our 1 year old into a cool calm room. I tried to explain the card we wanted to pay with was in my bag which was in the room that she would not let us have access to and began to judge us and argue that we would not have gone out for the day without our cards. Yes we have our phones but not the card that we wanted to use for a large sum.
It was very comfortable
The road in and no food available during the wedding
The hotel was fine but not much better than a Premier Inn/Travelodge. Could do with some updating. The breakfast menu was good but some elements were missing from the cooked breakfast which was disappointing

Yes we have our phones but not the card that we wanted to use for a large sum. She was incredibly rude, accusing and judgemental and did not want to give us her name. Eventually my husband paid on his phone on an account we’d rather not use such a transaction on. The room we were in was good, spacious and most importantly the towel rail was off! We went to check out on the morning of 22nd approx 9am and it was the same rude receptionist so we asked her to write her name down. We have attached a photo of her writing her name that looks completely different to the name she gave us the previous night. Sadly, this is not a hotel we would now return to and not the sort or service we would expect from a 4* hotel.
We had a wonderful break with our friends this week at Bartley Lodge Hotel. The staff were lovely, incredibly helpful and so friendly. The hotel and rooms are very comfortable, in beautiful surroundings. The food was fantastic, the pool soo warm, and we could not fault anything. It was a perfect trip!
An absolutely gorgeous hotel with so much character, amazing rooms and beautiful grounds. The staff were all amazing and the food was fabulous.
Would just like to say shakira was absolutely amazing dealing with our conference last week! She worked her socks off to keep us all happy thanks so much
Lovely stay at this traditional style country Hotel, set in the New Forest. Decent room and breakfast, and good value by booking direct.
Being tucked away in the countryside is an asset we enjoyed . We had a great nights sleep as the area is so quiet. We did not enjoy the gristle in the sausages and I had to (wet)shave over the bath as no hot water came from the tap over the sink.
Beautiful surroundings and immaculate hotel and a great experience for your stay on the edge of the New Forest.
I treated my husband to an afternoon tea on his birthday. I thought the Bartley Lodge Hotel looked the perfect place on the web. However, right from the start, the afternoon did not go too well. When we arrived, there was no one on reception and we wandered around until we found someone. We were seated in in the conservatory, and then had to wait a while until the food arrived. We were disappointed with the selection. We had asked for no fish sandwiches and they had recognised this but had given us double helpings of cucumber sandwiches instead! The cakes were very small and not very varied. And the scones were incredibly dry, hard and stale! We complained about the scones, and fifteen minutes later, we got some replacements, freshly defrosted, warm and soggy. The service was haphazard with no one being present for most of the time we were there. We left, thoroughly disappointed, but with no one around to complain to. Not something we would like to repeat!
,y wives birthday so booked a nice room it was excellent so was the food and staff
All of it ...it easy to stop from the main room better signage maybe
Arrived for a wedding with overnight stay. Found out early On that the staff weren't too helpful. Rooms were uncomfortable , no air con or fans ( son slept in his car as it was too hot). Asking for any extras, coffee etc was a no no, told they were too busy. Not enough staff to cover the event. Never anyone at reception . Lovely catch up with family but wouldn't stay here again
Characterful hotel in a picturesque setting. Stayed the night for a family birthday celebration. The BBQ was really good served outside in the lovely gardens. Bar staff helpful and friendly. Room was good but no mattress protector on the bed which was reported to Reception. We couldn't get a sandwich on arrival at lunchtime which was disappointing so drove to a local garden centre.
Beautiful place lovely location
Reception not very welcoming lack of a smile not very enthusiastic about new visitors not overly helpful.Shower very slow to warm up and no peer behind it
I loved the location
Food orders were missing ingredients. Lack of available staff Staff lied about not having ingredients to make a drink then make it for a party. Building needed some revamping as wallpaper and paint ( especially in swimming pool area) was tired.
good location, good food, slow service. room/suite was lovely but quirky should not mean two fairly substantial failings. management did comp us a dinner after I insisted on some recompense, as being asked to pay a premium rate for a room that had a faulty window and shower was not acceptable. That said the room was clean comfortable and quiet, with pretty grounds, a good location for exploring the New Forest.
We stayed at Bartley Lodge Hotel for one night with our children and were unfortunately disappointed with our experience. The overall cleanliness of the hotel fell below our expectations. The outdoor tables were noticeably dirty, although the gardens themselves were well maintained. Our room also had an unpleasant smell. The coffee mugs in the morning at breakfast were all dirty and the glass cups were sticky although ‘clean’ The pool - I would not even bother to go down there. Unless you want to swim in a pool with mould and grubbiness. In addition, we found the service to be lacking. When our key card stopped working, there was no one available at reception to assist us, and staff seemed unsure who could help resolve the issue. Throughout our stay, we felt there was little concern for guest experience or customer service. Sadly, based on our experience, I would not recommend this hotel. Thankfully, we were only staying one night. If we were staying any longer I would I checked out sooner. I think basic cleanliness is important.
Attended a wedding there.,very under staffed , we arrived after a long journey for my granddaughters wedding the next day.,we arrived tired and hungry z, we could not get any food or coffees . Some staff went out of their way to help others were just rude. No air con in bedrooms, made it difficult to sleep in 31 degree heat. . Beds uncomfortable and pillows like laying on a bag of blue circle cement., my bed was a put you up , I could feel the metal bars through the very thin mattress., very poorly run and would not go back, which is a shame as it could have been really nice.,
Lovely hotel, staff very friendly and helpful, food and drinks excellent and set in a lovely location with nice gardens. Ended having a pool available too!
Room was too hot - no aircon and small fans didn’t make a dent. Breakfast was poor. Location good and staff friendly.
Really chilled hotel, lovely gardens, friendly staff.
Room a bit warm, but it was 27 degrees, and bathroom for our room a bit small.
The room was beautiful. continental breakfast is good too and sufficient.
plastic flowers on the tables and would like a better choice of bread at breakfast for example sourdough.
Warm relaxed atmosphere, staff very helpful and available. Great views from the room it was quiet clean and comfotable.
Shower was very slow to heat and not good pressure
Not much to say really, it was fine in many ways but we would need a better room if we were to come again
Location and rooms
There was a noisy party until late. Also, toilets didn’t flush properly
Lovely room. Beautiful location. Friendly staff.
Shower was not a power shower. Pool was so slippery, it was unsafe Had to pay even more for a cooked breakfast
We had a two night stay and it was very enjoyable. The hotel is tucked away down a windy bumpy lane but it was very accessible from the main road at the top end of the New Forest.at Cadnam. The Bbreakfasts (fulll English) were a good start to the day and the pillows were gorgeous - I you like soft pillows. We slept well and it was very quiet and relaxing. . A short drive to Lyndhurst the" Captal" of he New Forest. Well worth heading into the heart of the Forest down some unlikely lanes and especilly the more elevated area. Just watch out for the Ponies and Donkeys.who'll just amble out when it suits them. I think there 5,000 in total(?) . .
This is a very comfortable hotel within the New Forest. It is a quiet peaceful hotel, and the food is of a decent quality. The pool is a nice addition. The hotel has nice grounds in which to walk, especially if you take a dog. Shakira and Tom were especially exemplary employees who went above and beyond to ensure we were happy and comfortable.
Gorgeous building both interior and exterior, beautiful grounds and the garden. I felt truly relaxed after my stay there.
Breakfast price was too expensive I think, £20 for Continental and £30 for cooked breakfast.
Staff called before our arrival to confirm booking and ascertain bedroom preferences and time we’d like breakfast etc. very welcoming. Room tastefully decorated spacious and comfortable bed. We arrived at 9 pm ordered coffee which was served with homemade shortbread. Receptionist efficient and friendly. Excellent value for money . We will definitely stay again !
Nothing
Had a really enjoyable stay here- fab location, beautifully peaceful, comfortable room, staff attentive, breakfast and dinner both lovely - cannot fault our stay and will definitely stay again- actually we would have extended our stay had work commitments not called us home.
The location was great, close to New Forest national park and easily accessible for Lyndhurst and other villages and towns. Staff were friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfast is worth paying the upgrade, it was lovely.
The property is in need of an upgrade especially outdoor garden seating where the rattan has all broken on the seats. Carpets throughout the hotel are worn and paintwork to windows and doors needs attention.
Everything except food
The food served was terrible. We ordered a basic club sandwich and it was served with a chicken bone in it. We had to cancel our dinner because of this experience. The morning continental breakfast was average.
Everything and even the electric car charging facilities
Nothing
Visited this location having received a gift for the traitors event and overnight stay. The event it self was very good and credit goes to the team building company for that. Unfortunately having advised that my dietary requirement were chicken or vegetarian but no mushroom (as most veg options are heavily based on mushrooms) I was served pork belly, and on asking if I could switch for the vegetarian option the server went off to check and came back with a clip board and told me that I had ordered the pork, which I hadn’t as it was a set menu that wasn’t shared before hand and that it would be 20minutes. This wasn’t ideal as everyone else had almost finished and I would end up missing part of the event waiting for my food. The hotel it self is nice, as a listed building there are quirks, so if you like ultra modern this is not the place for you. Sadly the beds could do with an upgrade as the one in room 7 was most uncomfortable and you could feel every spring, sore back in the morning. They may well be replacing the mattresses as there was a visible pile of mattresses in the grounds - not quite the countryside view one would expect. Breakfast was included, but it did seem quite expensive if you were room only, but there was a good choice of cooked options, and the cold buffet had plenty of options.
We liked everything- friendly people, beautiful location, comfortable accommodation and good breakfast.
All good.
The room was up two flights of stairs. My partner, who has limited mobility, did have some difficulty. The room was a good size, with all of the usual facilities. No biscuits with the hospitality tray, but not a big problem! There was a step up to a small alcove, with a sofa, which we tripped over a few times. The room was warm and we had a window open all night. The main issue with the room was the bathroom. The shower head would not stay in the shower head holder, and kept falling out as the clamp mechanism had weakened through wear. There was a fair amount of black mould at the base of some of the tiles in the bath area, and also by the sink. I am susceptible to this as it causes me to cough. The service at the evening meal was erratic. We had a table booked at 7pm and it was not too busy. The main course and drinks were served reasonably quickly and cleared away. We were given a dessert menu and then seemed to be forgotten. After 30 minutes I went to find a member of staff to order dessert. Service at breakfast was similar. Again, reserved a table for 7:30am, when it was not too busy. It was 20 minutes before we were offered coffee, and a long wait for the cooked breakfast. It was 8:45am by the time we could leave the restaurant. Although we don’t live far away, we would not visit this hotel again.
We booked Bartley Lodge as part of a package for a place to stay after visiting Paultons park and it was far more than just that. Staff were incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived. The room was spacious and comfortable and the hotel and grounds are beautiful! We were spoilt for choice at breakfast and really enjoyed an evening meal on one of our nights there too. The children were also very well looked after which made this an extra special place to stay - there was a lounge with toys for them to play with and it was no trouble at all when we asked if we could have some milk for them before bed. We will absolutely be returning here for a longer family trip.
We enjoyed the Feast of the faithful, immersive event it was thoroughly entertaining, my dietary needs were catered for and the food was delicious. Great events team great hotel staff.
Wedding great night especially with Emma Tala and Jaka Lovely customer service
Tala and Jaden 5 star review for amazing service
Lovely stay, slept well. Shower control temprmental either very hot or freezing cold. Will definitely come back again.
Love this hotel for the staff and location. Especially Jenny on reception and in the dining room. Always willing to go the extra mile and always with a smile on her face. The Restaurant staff were lovely as well. We have stayed a couple of times before as a big family weekend. This time just an overnight stay before we board for a cruise. Things we noticed this time round. The bedroom (room 43) though clean could do with an update, it was looking a bit worn, nothing that a lick of paint wouldn’t cure. It was the Orangery that looked like a deep clean and a lick of paint wouldn’t go amiss. Chairs were stained and though not massive, cobwebs on the windows. My husband spotted a bad spot in the main dining room whilst waiting for his toast, a really large gathering of dust on the skirtings. There was a wedding at the hotel the night we stayed but as a normal guest it didn’t impact on our stay.
I had a lovely stay at Bartley Lodge. I needed to stay for work and the team were incredibly helpful and supportive, particularly as there was a risk I would be returning to the hotel from my work late at night. It felt very safe. My room was lovely, comfortable and clean and the setting is very quiet and relaxing.
Very nice antiquated hotel in nice surroundings steeped in history. Staff very helpful and hotel clean and comfortable with new menu giving a very good range of options.
Lovely hotel and gardens. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good.
Location, overall alright rooms (one wing is more modern than the other)
Unworkable WiFi (mobile signal is bad in the area), coffee isn't free at breakfast (even if you pay for upgraded cooked breakfast), wedding held at the venue every night, no room cleaning service
Comfortable bed and clean room
WiFi coverage across the property (bedroom and breakfast hall) was very poor Unprofessional staff member at check in Broken shower head
Bartley provided the perfect venue for my daughters wedding. The food at breakfast and at the wedding was exceptional along with the service of staff. I would highly recommend Bartley as a wedding venue or gor a break in the New Forest.
We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at this hotel. All of the staff that we encountered were excellent and the cooked breakfasts were top quality.
We stayed here while doing a few days at Paultons Park/Peppa Pig World. All of the serving/reception staff were amazing. A special shout out to Tom who was amazing with out two year old. In a less positive note, the food could have been be better and the WIFI didn’t work.
Family room was large and evening meals good standard
Swimming pool aged and dirty. Breakfast selection not all available and hidden upgrade cost for cooked breakfast
Location
Unable to run a bath because the lever diverting the water to taps from show had been removed. Shower head would have to be removed from it's hose to be able to hang it up. Unlike most hotels to have a cooked breakfast you have to pay a £10 additional charge. Seems like they are trying to save money at every opportunity.
Property is really beautiful,
We have stayed at this hotel several times with family, as the kids love the swimming pool, which has longer opening hours than most hotel pools. It’s a gorgeous hotel, close to nature and charming small villages, and the staff have always been helpful. Unfortunately, the pool area is currently in need of repair, and we also found the breakfast disappointing. As a result, we no longer feel it offers good value for money and have decided not to return until improvements are made.
*Pool area in need of repair *Breakfast quality could be improved, it has declined compared to our previous stays *Overall not great value for money
We have stayed here many times, I feel like it has got better since the last time we stayed. The rooms were very nice, and the staff were very polite and helpful. We will no doubt be back.
Nothing
Beautiful hotel with amazing staff. We held our daughters 30th birthday party here and we had several family and friends staying over with us. Great experience so good ive booked to do it all again for mine !! Roll on December.. Thankyou !! BARTLEY LODGE HOTEL X
Stayed for 2 nights and only wish we could have stayed longer! Lovely hotel, clean and welcoming. All the staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. Our twin room was a generous size and lovely with really comfy beds and a view out over the grounds at the back which was beautiful to wake up to. Plenty of tea and coffee was provided as well as storage space. Breakfast was excellent. I only had the continental but it was so good I felt the upgrade to a full English wasn’t needed and there was so much choice and good coffee. There were lots of cosy areas to hang around in and the bar served a really nice latte! The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly and every single staff member was doing an excellent job in my opinion. I’d recommend this hotel 100%, when we return to the area we will be looking to book again! Thank you to all the staff who made our stay so nice!
