Lovely B&B for a visit to the New Forest. I stayed here for 3 nights for a short break to walk some trails around Lyndhurst and Brockenhurst and it was a perfect choice. My room was spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed and excellent shower. Nick is a great host who provided a warm welcome and delicious generous breakfast.

The bed was really squeaky when we turned over and we both woke with sore backs (which soon resolved once up and moving). Others might love a softer mattress so I know it’s difficult to cater for everyone

Great location only a few minutes from the town centre with a good selection of restaurants. Everything was impeccably clean. Welcoming host and an excellent breakfast. Off street parking was a definite bonus - two spaces for three rooms means it's not guaranteed, however there is a quiet side street adjacent to the property.

On a busy road so some traffic noise at night, but ear plugs sorted that.

The host, Nick, was brilliant. He did everything to make our stay go as smoothly as possible as we were attending a wedding and timings were crucial. Very hospitable.

È la seconda volta che torniamo in questa casa stupenda nel centro del New Forest. Nick è stato super gentile come sempre con mille attenzioni per noi e per il nostro bimbo di due anni. È stato un soggiorno perfetto e nonostante abbiamo pernottato cinque giorni, avremmo voluto restare ancora un po’. La camera è pulitissima, nuova e ampia. La colazione preparata ogni giorno da Nick è varia e ottima. Grazie mille! Ci siamo sentiti come fossimo a casa, in famiglia.

Fabulous, comfortable room and super clean bathroom. Whole house was beautifully kept and Nick was the perfect host. Because of an event we were attending we had to leave both days before the official breakfast time and Nick was only too happy to oblige with a quick bowl of cereal, yoghurt and fruit juice as well as tea and coffee. Definitely above and beyond the call of duty!

Nous avons apprécié l'accueil de Nick, la taille et le confort de la chambre, la qualité du couchage, la propreté de la salle de bain. Le petit déjeuner était très bien. Le gîte se situe à proximité de landes et de forêts pour les balades dans le New Forest.

Comme il faisait très chaud, nous avons laissé les fenêtres ouvertes. Cependant, la chambre donne sur une route très circulée, et le bruit de la circulation peut être gênant.

There was nothing we actually didn’t like. Obviously we all have our own preferences with pillows, beds etc which is why we gave 8 and not 10, having said that, it was fine.

Nick is a very good host, and the location is close to many amenities, the bed was comfortable, decoration and facilities very good, and the breakfast excellent. What more do you require !!

Small bathroom. Major heatwave while there 1 standard fan in upstairs room impossible to sleep. Owner may need to look at aircon in future.

The B&B was very well located with a short walk into town to the local restaurants. Nick provided us with a delicious cooked breakfast each morning. Perfect to set us up for a days cycling in the forest. Nick let us store our bikes in his secure locked shed.

The B&B was super clean, warm and only a 2 min walk to Lyndhurst high street, where you can find a good selection of restaurants, cafes, pubs and a lovely wine & cheese bar. Nick was really welcoming and helpful throughout our stay and the breakfasts were very tasty & substantial.

Everything was perfect and I couldn't recommend this place more. Warm room, parking, great location (very short walk into Lyndhurst, highly recommend visiting the Fox and Hounds for great food), clean room (and tidied up every time we went out), really friendly and attentive host (Nick), and the most delicious cooked breakfast. Nick also went above and beyond with helping me surprise my partner with a cute birthday set up to come down to at breakfast. We will absolutely be back again.

We don’t do B&B usually as we find it awkward regarding noise and intruding in other people’s space but as we were the only guests at the time it wasn’t a problem.

A wonderful stay from start to finish. Nick was a friendly and genuinely welcoming host who made us feel at home right away. The room was impeccably clean with all the modern comforts you could want, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast was beautifully executed, generous, and absolutely delicious. The location is ideal too—just a two-minute walk to eateries and cafés, close to the NF trails, and with a small on-site parking area that was very convenient. A fantastic bed and breakfast that we’d happily return to.

Well-catered breakfast. Considerate and accommodating hosts over a relatively long stay. Great location for accessing Lyndhurst. Servicing of room on a daily basis was appreciated.

No area to sit in other than the bedroom except for breakfast. Room a little snug with two suitcases. No access to a small fridge nor laundry facilities especially if staying more than one or two nights. Short stays obviously more suitable for the property.

The breakfast was delicious. Nick was a really accommodating and friendly host. The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and Nick ensured the tea, coffee, milk and biscuits remained topped up throughout our stay.

The position of the property was excellent. Just before the ever constant traffic jam to get onto the high street. It was close to all local amenities & we were allowed to park prior to check in to explore our favourite places. We were greeted at the door and taken personally to our room. We had expected a high level of customer service ( from reviews ) & that's exactly what we experienced from start to finish. Linens & towels were great, as were the complimentary toiletries and beverage station. The bed was very comfortable, and the temperature in the room/ bathroom spot on. Breakfast ( pre ordered) was very good for both meat & non meat options.

There was nothing we did not like. We were sad to leave, & my bag was carried to the car for me!

This was our 3rd year of staying here we like it so much. The hosts, Nick and Judith, are very friendly and put themselves out to make the stay such a pleasure. The breakfast choice is excellent and cooked perfectly. It is in an ideal situation for walking into Lyndhurst or driving into the New Forest to explore. In Lyndhurst there are many places to eat dinner with a choice of different cuisine.
