I thought it was dated, was disappointing

I didn’t get the room that I asked for on the ground floor as my husband’s got Parkinson’s and to be honest, they didn’t do very much to accommodate us

We have stayed in Caley many times and it never disappoints. The hotel itself is very characterful, nicely laid out and in an excellent location for buses which cover pretty much most of the north Norfolk coast. It is easy to travel to Kings Lynn, Sandringham, Wells, Walsingham, Fakenham - all places of interest and character. Breakfast is wholesome and we had dinnr on one night which was good.

Our stay at Caley Hall has been great. We stayed for 1 night in a dog friendly Family room. Room was nice and clean, big enough for 4 of us plus dog. The staff has been very friendly. Breakfast in thew morning was excellent. Overall, we had a great experience and we will come back again.

Wonderful location, absolutely gorgeous hotel. It's the 3rd time we have stayed here and it never fails to impress. Right on the edge of old huntstanton its just a short walk to the most stunning beaches in the UK. Hotel itself is friendly, comfy, clean the staff are wonderful and the food is excellent. There's a well stocked bar and you can sit inside or enjoy food or drink on the patio area.

We had a great stay, it’s was a nice quiet room with a very powerful shower although a little tricky to operate. The breakfast was the highlight, very good quality produce and the staff are very welcoming and helpful. We had dinner the night before and it was all to a good standard. I found our stay to be good value.

The bar is little on the small side and lacked atmosphere, me and my wife found ourselves whispering as you could hear a pin drop in there. Maybe a little music would have helped.

The tiles within the shower weren’t very clean. The guests in the room next door had a dog. There should be separate areas within the hotel for guests without pets so that they are not disturbed.

All the things I liked gave you a 9.5/10 score BUT, we were not impressed with the evening meal menu and dined elsewhere on our second night. Breakfast and all day snacks were fine. Get the evening menu better and you’re as good as it gets.

Beautiful property, great location for the beach, spotlessly clean and staff were friendly and helpful.

Some shelves and a couple of coat hooks In the bathroom would be useful - we had soaking wet coats and nowhere to hang them. I also don't like putting my toiletries on the floor!

The friendlyness of the staff and the cleanliness of the whole hotel was exceptional. Our room was perfect, clean and comfy with everything that was needed for our stay. The restaurant provided a very good breakfast and the evening meal that we had was superb.

There was nothing not to like.

The friendliest staff! Everyone from the warm welcome to the bar staff and those at breakfast were incredibly friendly. So much so I never write reviews but wanted to do so. Your staff should be really rewarded for doing such a great job. We also loved the hot chocolate and having board games in the bar such a fab touch.

Beautiful surroundings. Laid back, & very relaxing. Rooms were very clean, very well equipped, and beautifully decorated. The staff were exceptionally helpful, friendly, worked hard and gave a great service. Our 2nd time stay. There will be many more.

The breakfast buffet was excellent. Great choice of food, and the cooked food was great, loved the bacon and sausages, and every thing fresh and hot. The room was brilliant, clean and well presented, and facilities great. The staff were cheerful helpful and friendly. Theare options on the evening menu were good, again food well presented and hot. If we are up in Old Hunstanton again, we will definitely stay at the Daley again.

I like the setup of Caley. The rooms are lovely and were easy to get to even though my husband can’t walk too well. There are trolleys to use for the luggage and they were very helpful. The breakfasts were quick and easy and we had a couple of dinners which were very nice. I love the dog shower which I used a few times to clean sandy paws

My husband found the bed uncomfortable and I found the pillows too hard and got a stiff neck and had to buy a softer pillow

Close to Titchwell reserve. Comfortable bed with large bathroom with roll top bath and separate shower with view from window. Lovely garden to sit in for a cool drink in the shade.

We got there late and had dinner. My dish pork belly was a little dry by then so I got extra jus. Otherwise food was very nice. A bit expensive we thought.

Not the hotels fault at all, but the communication between Booking.com and the hotel regarding whether you are bringing a pet needs updating. The hotel were exceptionally accommodating and it wasn’t a problem but feels like a “missing link.”

Both dinner and breakfast were excellent. Many gluten free choices so very well catered for special dietary needs. Restaurant spacious and well set out. Room was clean, comfortable and very quiet.

Buffet breakfast was delicious, room was clean, bed was comfy, location peaceful.

Hotel position is ideal, large carpark takes all worry out of finding space , especially after being out for day. Staff excellent and friendly. Room was spacious and walk in shower excellent, housekeeping was good as well, good location for touring North Norfolk and beyond. Breakfast choices of cold food was good and the toaster was the best I have encountered on trips away. Fridge in room was effective and helpful, plenty of hangers provided in wardrobe, although draw space was relatively small. Iron handy for clothes.

No bottled water in room, for price this should be included, not a great cost per room for hotel. Step down leading to room not advised on outside door, had yellow and black tape but not obvious from outside. Car Park was like the Wild West, a number of guests took up more than a space so limited the available spaces. (Not a lot the Hotel can do about this to be fair) Breakfast cooked buffet varied between warm and lukewarm so was disappointing. First day breakfast nobody cleared any plates away but this got better during the stop. Green safety light was extremely bright in bedroom, in so much we had to cover during the night. Bread delivery in trays left at bottom of room stairs each morning could be a hazard if less mobile.

Very dog friendly hotel. Anywhere there was a hard floor was doggy friendly (carpet not). Room was lovely: comfy bed, great ensuite, nice view, well equipped. Breakfast included and superb. All staff very friendly and loved the dogs. Very close to beach.

Next time we would ask for a ground floor room, but that was our fault , not the hotel’s.

Old Hunstanton is beautiful and has lots of nice places to eat and drink. The hotel is a perfect place to explore from and also had a great restaurant with stunning food. The staff were super friendly - especially the team at breakfast!! The room was stunning and bed was really comfy,

One of the additional children's beds was really uncomfortable and needed a thicker mattress. Otherwise no complaints

Amazing welcoming, hardworking and friendly staff, who seem to attract return bookings. Amazing breakfast, dinner and facilities. We stayed with our 4 year old boy and he loved the toys, the facilities, his room and all the dogs. It's a great location and even better than when we visit in 2019. We will be booking again in 2027.

Hotel was beautiful and the staff really friendly. It was easy to find and a 10 minute walk into the main beach. Old Hunstanton is quiet and relaxed but plenty of good options to eat and drink. The breakfast and evening meal was exceptional

Beds were comfortable although the smallest of the kids beds had a very thin mattress.

Not really a problem but we arrived late after a live music event and not many places open for food. Bar at the hotel was still open thankfully for drinks but only serves crisps. Breakfast finishes quite early too!
