The hotel room was clean and the staff was welcoming and the location was good.

Didn't like that they didn't do breakfast. My room was too close to the main road.

Habitacion en sotano, con importantes humedades en las paredes. TV no funcionaba. No hay armario en la habitacion. Ni perchas para colgar siquiera las toallas del baño. El wifi no llega correctamente a la habitacion

Tradycyjnie zdjęcia zamieszczone na profilu hotelu nie oddają wyglądu i standardu pokoju, w którym mieszkałam. Pokój był zlokalizowany w basement, mikroskopijnej wielkości. Brak miejsca do przechowywania zarówno w pokoju jak i łazience. Brak np. wieszaków na ścianach, które rozwiązały by problem małej przestrzeni. Brak klosza pod sufitem, żarówka bijąca światłem po oczach. Brak powietrza, wstawiona wiatrak i okno musiało być cały czas uchylone, ale i to nie pomagało. Właściciel mógłby się lepiej postarać.

Smelt strange and they should have mentioned a shared toilet was on the next floor … they upgraded me the next night which was wonderful!

Petite chambre mais avec bouilloire, sèche-cheveux, ventilateur, chausson et kit dentaire. Chambre et drap propres. Accueil agréable. Emplacement idéal. Pour le prix rien à redire.

It was clean and serviced when requested. It was close to Paddington train station.

This was an old hotel but clean.small room.On my last night at the hotel it rained in the night. I was woken up with the leaking ceiling around 5.30 a.m. the bed and bedding were soaking. I couldn't ring the staff because the reception opened at 8a.m. and we were leaving early to catch the train as we were leaving the country. I have emailed them through booking.com and directly with photos and there has been no response. This is very bad service. Who expects to get wet while sleeping from a leaking ceiling in the middle of the night in a hotel in London?

Lokalita bola vynikajúca, kúsok od metra, na pešo do Hyde Parku aj do obchodov. Veľmi oceňujem ochotu a ústretovosť personálu.

Ocenila by som na izbe skriňu, kde by bolo možné si poukladať veci.

The stuff at reception were very kind, friendly and helpful with everything we needed. The location was great in a very safe area and relatively close to everything.

The room was quite small for three people so it fell a little cramped and especially with our luggage.

La limpieza considero que es una parte fundamental; quieres saber que vas a dormir bien en una cama y un sitio limpios, por lo que más me gustó fue eso. Además de eso, lo queríamos para literalmente dormir, porque nuestras vacaciones se trataron de pasarnos el día fuera haciendo turismo y solo ir a la habitación a dormir y ducharnos, así que 10/10.

No tengo quejas, fue muy útil y adecuado.

Excelente ubicación, cerca de la estación de Paddington y de Hyde Park. Personal muy amable, nos dejaron hacer el check-in antes de la hora y nos guardaron las maletas despues del check-out. Habitaciones bien equipadas, con secador de pelo, plancha y hervidor para hacer te o café.

Si trova in una buona posizione per raggiungere i principali monumenti della città. Disponibile il deposito bagagli dopo il check out.

Prima dell' arrivo avevo espresso la richiesta di non volere la stanza nel seminterrato, mi è stata assegnata tale camera, sembrava di alloggiare in cantina. Nella stanza si apriva in parte una sola finestra e di fronte, nella parte che dava sul cortiletto esterno, era presente sempre una persona che alloggiava in una stanza adiacente, quindi privacy inesistente. Dovevamo dormire sempre con la finestra chiusa e le tende ben tirate nonostante il caldo e la mancanza dell' aria condizionata. Si sentivano i passi delle persone al piano superiore e il rumore di apertura e chiusura delle porte. Sicuramente non ci tornerei.

Location was the only real plus to this hotel as we were attending BST at Hyde Park. The towels and bed sheets were also clean.

On arrival on probably one of the hottest days the fan in the room didnt work and we had to prop the window open with a coat hanger as it would not stay open. The toilet seat was not fixed on one side therefore moved when you sat on it. The shower head leaked from every point possible so you had to hold the shower head instead of having it above you. When we advised reception of the faulty fan we were given another one which also did not work. My husband who is an electrician noticed that the fuse had gone in the board outside our room so we had no power to the sockets, after switching the fuse back we were ok, but these things should not be left to guests.

Great location, close to Paddington Tube/Railway Station and lots of good places to eat. Bed was very comfortable.

The stairs down to our room were very precarious. Not great trying to manage luggage as well as the stairs. Our shower did not drain, so we had to either have it on a trickle or keep switching it on and off so we didn’t flood the bathroom. Also the towels provided could have been bigger. No where to hang towels in the bathroom. No plugs next to the bed - luckily the lead for the C-pap machine reached from the other side of the room.

L'hotel si trova in una buonissima posizione, pochi minuti a piedi dalla metro e dalle fermate del bus. Vicino si trovano tutti i servizi necessari. Pur essendo molto piccola la camera era accogliente con sanitari nuovi. Lo staff é sempre disponibile. Il check-in viene fatto nell'hotel accanto e c'è la possibilità di lasciare il bagaglio dopo aver fatto il check-out. Dental kit e ciabatte all'arrivo. La nostra stanza era al piano -1, ma comunque luminosa e con una delle due finestre apribile.

Si sentiva molto il rumore che compariva a tratti di un impianto di riscaldamento/acqua. Non presente armadio né frigobar.

The windows were doors, both open when arrived, which is fine. However, unable to close them as lock was out and no key. Reported to reception, which is 2 houses away, said they would sort. When arrived back.after event, still open, hadn't been attended to. Had to sleep with them open on a main road all night. Electric sockets on 1 side didn't work. Didn't notice until morning when tried to boil kettle. Moved kettle to make a drink. Tried to inform staff in the morning, it was Monday, but reception shut, no-one to report it to.

The building has very narrow stairs, and no lift. No air con, but we were provided with a fan.

Very good location close to Marble Arch and Paddington station. Close to transportation routes. Friendly reception staff and housekeeping staff.

The rooms are a bit small. The bathroom is tiny. No elevator available. We were allocated a room in level 3 and it was difficult to carry our suitcases all they to level 3 in the heat.

Molti problemi a livello strutturale: biancheria rovinata e macchiata, servizi danneggiati e poco efficienti, mancanza di adeguato impianto di condizionamento, difficoltà a contattare la struttura per urgenze al di fuori dell'orario di apertura della reception.

Buena ubicación, cumple la función para ducharse y dormir tras patear la ciudad. Camas cómodas con buenas almohadas. Y limpio .

El paking es el exterior a 15 £ noche, hay tres ratas subiendose al motor de los coches, peligrando los cables de los mismos. Ya qie el hotel deja la basura en el suelo de la calle y sin cubo de basura, te puedes encontrar a Ratatouille.

We couldn’t close the windows so they kept banging through the night.

Es nuestra segunda vez en este hotel (nov 2024 y mayo 2026). Este año decidimos en un primer momento reservar con otro hotel (nos arrepentimos de no haber reservado con el Astoria de nuevo) pero cuando llegamos, nos encontramos con una situación horrible y sin donde dormir. Llegamos al Astoria para preguntarles si tenía una habitación para pasar la noche en lo que gestionábamos la situación con el otro hotel. No solo nos ayudaron buscándonos una habitación para pasar el resto de nuestras vacaciones, sino también con la situación que nos encontrábamos con el otro hotel. El trato de todos los chicos de recepción fue excelente, siempre muy atentos y cuidando nuestra comodidad. Después de encontrarnos con una situación horrible y la nula comunicación por parte del primer hotel, llegar al Astoria y encontrarte con personas dispuestas ayudarte y profesionales, se agradece muchísimo. No tenemos duda de que cuando volvamos, reservaremos aquí de nuevo.

Si trova in una zona molto bella e tranquilla di Londra. La camera in generale era pulita e i letti molto comodi.

Il bagno è veramente piccolo, senza finestra quindi quando si faceva la doccia bisognava lasciare aperta la porta per non morire di caldo. Per il resto la stanza anche sé piccola era accogliente

La déco est certes à revoir mais, l.hôtel est confortable et calme. Les commentaires nous ont faits un peu peur mais nous avons été agréablement surpris ! Franchement nous nous demandons si ce ne sont pas des concurrents. Nous y retournons

El hotel está muy bien situado, muy cerca de la estación de Paddington. Tanto la habitación como el baño eran amplios y estaba todo muy limpio.

Un tercero sin ascensor, el último tramo de escalera difícil de subir, estrecho y con el suelo irregular. No tiene aire acondicionado (ya lo sabíamos), pero el problema principal es que la ventana del dormitorio no se podía abrir (estaba estropeada y no se quedaba arriba), y abriendo la del baño no entraba bastante fresco. La habitación está en pendiente y el mueble sobre el que se pueden apoyar las cosas está inclinado y muy inestable, le vendría bien algún mueble más.

Ottima posizione, vicino alla metro, quartiere tranquillo con ristoranti, bar, negozi.

Paddington is a good location, it was close to Paddington station/tube station, the bus stop was just across the street and the room was really spacious (it even had 4 comfy beds for just 3 people booked) esp. for London, very clean and even featured a French balcony. First floor (instead of the usual top floor with small steps and no lift) was a real bonus. Stuff war really friendly and helpful.

The bathroom was tiny with a noisy fan as soon as you turned on the light.

Placeringen var fin

Sengetøjet var permanent plettet, selvom det var rent. Der var ingen håndsæbe på det delte badeværelse. Der manglede ofte toiletpapir. Brusekabinen var beskidt og toilettet var over skidt flere gange (ikke hotellets skyld, men hygiejnen fra de andre gæster som delte badeværelset)

Lokacija je odlična. Sve je bilo čisto. Sobarica je svaki dan mijenjala ručnike.

Rezervirali smo trokrevetnu sobu za koju nigdje nije pisalo da je u suterenu. Kad smo stigli rekli su nam da je naša soba u suterenu ali da će nam sutra dati sobu na katu. Međutim nismo to prihvatili jer bismo morali izaći iz svoje sobe do 11h a u novu ući iza 14h i u svemu tome izgubiti pola dana. Sobe imaju samo ventilatore!

L’emplacement est idéal , chek in en ligne très facile , si vous venez le soir la clé est dans un boîtier c’est niquel est rapide comme j’aime ! Personnellement j’y été juste pour dormir et c’était cool et suffisant !

J’étais quand même dans une chambre vraiment vieille , je sais que a Londres l’hôtellerie c’est compliquée à bon prix pour sa j’en ai pas tenu rigueur sur ma note

Great value excellent location Paddington Station just around the corner kettle , tea , coffee , and also toiletries provided. Restaurants and pubs also close and supermarket just a few minutes walk away

I stayed in a family room with 3 friends - 4 single beds in the room, everyone had enough space to feel comfortable for the price we paid. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were so friendly and helpful it really made our stay so smooth. The location is amazing, not far from Paddington which then takes you anywhere in London pretty quickly.

My only criticism would be the toilet (private) door didn't have a lock or a handle on the inside so it was awkward to close.

Pur essendo molto piccola la camera era accogliente con sanitari abbastanza nuovi. Lo staff é sempre disponibile. Ci hanno permesso il check in anticipato e di lasciare i bagagli al ritorno. Ci hanno pulito la stanza e cambiato gli asciugamani, oltre a dental kit e ciabatte:)

La nostra stanza era al piano terra e faceva un po’ caldo non essendoci aria condizionata e con la finestra che si apriva poco. Nella nostra stanza mancava armadio, frigobar quindi non consiglio per lunghi soggiorni.
