Very gracious hosts. Good home cooked breakfast. Comfortable spacious room. Lovely back yard with fountains and lights.

Breakfast was perfect; a delicious balanced meal, perfectly prepared with appropriate portions. Couldn't be better. Included was wonderful conversation!

Having to take our shoes off when in the house was a bit strange. Having to wear owners clogs when outside was even stranger. The lock on the room thermostat was not a nice feature.

Very cozy and peaceful beautiful neighbour hood and surroundings. Very easy to get to and from the area. Private large room and beautiful view of the garden.

Location was perfect, a short trip to our destination, St. Jacobs Market, Our room was actually a large suite, with a kitchenette. Beautiful back yard complete with a Japanese Koi pond!! Great hosts. A 20 minute breakfast turned into a three hour enjoyable and fun chat.

You will not find more welcoming hosts or a more charming backyard than this place. I stayed in the basement suite and the suite itself was spacious, clean, and the kitchenette area was a fantastic bonus.

My only comment is if you're in the basement suite and you're a light sleeper, people walking upstairs might wake you up. But some ear plugs will do the trick.

Breakfast was excellent

The residence felt very cozy and comfortable. There were nice touches such as drinks and snacks in our room. The bathroom was well equipped with soap, shampoo, towels etc. Our hosts made us a delicious breakfast. We had an endless stream of coffee flowing for the delightful conversation we had with our fellow guests and hosts over breakfast. Overall it was a very pleasant experience. We will definitely be back next time we need to stay in Kitchener!

A beautiful oasis with well placed water features and koi pond. So peaceful. Wonderful friendly hosts. Delicious breakfast. Comfortable bed. Good size room with everything you need plus thoughtful items like slippers and bathrobes.

The hosts Elanora and Dave were wonderful. The lower suite we stayed in was spacious and clean with a kitchenette, large TV with Netflix and a comfortable bed. The breakfasts provided were tasty and the company stimulating. The outdoor area is lovely with a beautiful koi pond for quiet contemplation. Would stay again.

The bed was very comfortable queen size and the bedroom was clean and tidy excellent plenty of space.

Our hosts were friendly and welcoming. We traveled 1500 miles to visit family, and Forest Hill was the perfect stay. The accommodation was exemplary…clean and peaceful. Dave and Elenora provided wonderful breakfasts to start our day and engaged us in great evening conversation around their Koi Pond. Our time at Forest Hill B&B was a highlight of our long trip and we wouldn't hesitate to visit them again. We can now say we have "friends" and family in Canada and highly recommend Forest Hill B&B to any traveler. Who knows, you may arrive as guests but leave as friends like we did!!

Great host/hostess - very clear introduction to a lovely property. We enjoyed a good sleep - quiet, felt safe & comfortable. Property close to a good Thai restaurant for dinner.

I have some food sensitivities - lactose intolerant, gluten free, fresh fruit allergy - which I thought I had communicated. Breakfast was fine - fresh fruit, yogurt and great scrambled eggs with homemade jam - but I'm used to having oatmeal or gluten free/lactose free options. We would stay here again, but I would be a bit clearer re food options next time.

Elenora and Dave had thought of everything a guest could want in a B&B. Beautiful and spacious unit, very clean with all the perks of a high end hotel. It was very quiet.

I'm not sure why I had to lug my own suitcase and travel bag through the side gate, up the steep outside stairs, around a corner and in through a side door to my room on the second floor. Help with my luggage and going in through the front door would have been much more welcoming.

Our shoulder season stay with Eleanor and Dave was very pleasant. Our accommodations were above average. We enjoyed wonderful food while viewing the lovely property, and interesting conversation. We arrived to a welcoming greeting and left with a warm hug having made new friends who treated us like family. We will return when in the area.

Our room was beautifully decorated with a charming vintage vibe but was not without modern comforts & security. We had an excellent view of the koi pond. The landscaping for the property is enchanting , well thought out, creating a wonderful atmosphere. Our breakfast was both delicious and well balanced. We greatly enjoyed the company of our hosts and would definitely book again.

Very accommodating and nice people. Host allowed for a late check-in, and made a lovely breakfast that took allergies/sensitivities into consideration. The room was large and reasonably clean, the bed was comfortable, and there were a bunch of amenities (snacks/drinks, a fan, shampoo/conditioner/soap). Unfortunately, however, I assumed that the no animals allowed policy applied to the hosts, too, and was surprised to discover a dog there (which I am super allergic to). Please take note in case you have allergies, are immunocompromised, or have a phobia - there is a dog in the house. I've recommended that this be mentioned somewhere in the listing. Fortunately, the hosts were very understanding and allowed us to cancel our 2nd night's stay.

The hosts were very kind and welcoming. We even met their friends and played cards with them! Their backyard was beautiful, with a coy fiah pond to relax at and enjoy! We woukd love to return soon! Thank you.

Eleanor and Dave were lovely hosts and warmly welcomed us to Forest Hill B and B. Breakfast was a great combination of fresh fruit and omelet with toast and homemade jam.

Have to say what fantastic hosts Eleanor & Dave were , made you feel so welcome and couldn’t do enough for you , always on hand for anything you needed. The suite we had was excellent everything you could possibly need was there , everything was so immaculate real home from home stay. Breakfast time was fantastic too there wasn’t anything Eleanor wouldn’t do for you even making sure the fussiest of eaters like my daughter never went without !!! I will certainly be returning without a doubt , this place is a real Gem so glad I made the right decision when deciding where to book !!! Eleanor & Dave you were the perfect hosts and should be proud of yourselves for this beautiful bed and breakfast.

Clean, comfortable accommodation in a beautiful setting. Warm hospitality extended by personable hosts who made us feel welcome. The home cooked breakfasts were a real treat. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

I count myself lucky to have crossed paths with such a warm-hearted couple in Canada. The room is not only comfortable and clean but also has a spacious and beautiful forest-style garden. Moreover, I was truly moved by their initiative in helping and caring for me. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Canada.

It was like staying in a BnB. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. The room was very well equipped, very clean, and very comfortable. The backyard was a gorgeous, relaxing oasis. Breakfast on the patio was amazing. Wonderful food, coffee and conversation with the hosts and other guest. We were reluctant to leave.

Highly recommend. Very inviting and accommodating. Beyond satisfied and will book again.

Lovely home in a mature, quiet neighbourhood. We stayed in the lower suite. The room was very cozy, bed was comfortable and it had a kitchenette with some drinks and snacks provided. Outdoor property is gorgeous and would love to come back and enjoy it in warmer weather. Breakfast was delicious and included fresh fruit salad, frittata, hearty bread, homemade salsa, homemade jam and delicious bottomless cup coffee. Hosts, Eleanora and Dave, were very welcoming. We can definitely recommend this B&B.

It was a last minute decision but it was the best last minute decision in my life.

A beautiful place. The landscaped back yard was exceptional. The room was very large and provided everything you would need. A great home cooked breakfast in the morning. A very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

The outdoor setting in the backyard was beautifully landscaped with water features and backyard patio Each morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast with our hosts Eleanora and Dave. Highly recommend.

The accommodation was equal to an excellent, spacious condo, and the hosts were superior in their reception and friendliness. Breakfast was excellent and we were as comfortable as we would be as we would be in our own home.

Everything was wonderful , The owners of the property were just wonderful, friendly ,gracious and if you needed anything they had. Kitchen was stocked with drinks, coffee and tea. They even had little chocolates , granola bars and cookies for you to snack on. Breakfast was awesome We had omelets, toast and fruit cup. Everything was home made. . Eleanora and Dave, made you fell welcome. They went above and beyond.

The location... facilities being provided by both... hygiene was well maintained and the best part is the bread time wen we all discuss the diversity of culture in canada as well as become aware of other talents. The behaviour of the owners is very nice.. they are very polite and gentle.

The breakfast was exceptional. It was prepared by Eleanora, a former restauranteur with a great recipe for a wonderful breakfast. We had our breakfast with the hosts and had many great stories to share back and forth. We were in town to celebrate our 5th anniversary and it was a surprise for my wife. She truly enjoyed it and thank you to our hosts for the complimentary bottle of wine to help us celebrate!!

This was our first experience staying at a B&aB. We will definitely stay at Forest Hill when the opportunity arises. It’s beautiful inside and out. Dave and Eleanor are kind and very accommodating hosts. I feel they go above and beyond to make you feel at home and to make your stay as comfortable and easy as possible.

Breakfast was fantastic, and the location was good. A bit far out of town for finding places to eat but they were very helpful. We went for a lovely walk from the property. The owners were exceptionally helpful and friendly and their hospitality second to none.

Our room was in the house basement. Room was clean and tidy, as was the private bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. Great breakfast. Enticing conversations with our hosts Eleanor and Dave, who made us feel at home the whole time. The koi pond is cool!
