Reviewed Jun 10, 2026Location is convenient. We were nearby several food establishments. The room was okay; the staff assisted us to upgrade to the Hotel. Bed was comfortable and room temperature was cool.

You can smell molds as you enter the room. Bathroom and shower’s really bad. Towels are old and nasty.

Rooms are dated. Room paint chipping off, door handles need changing, towels old and needs changing, not the cleanest floors. The property is fair but needs upgrading. It is showing its age.

Reviewed Jan 5, 2026We stayed here for a couple of nights. Good location as it is close to the centre and near to the malls. They have good parking area in the building that you can pay.
The rooms are a bit run-down. Sheets and towels are stained and have holes on them despite asking for better ones. No hot shower either. They do not provide toiletries (toothbrush/toothpaste, etc) but this is not a major issue for me as I usually bring my own toiletries anyway.

Reviewed Dec 22, 2025The place is nearby the food establishment. The room is clean.
The desk staff at evening shift. Twice I call through telephone and it rang for about 3 minutes, and just simply answer of 'Okay'. The flush is not working and there is no alternative way to use. The remote is not working.

Reviewed Aug 27, 2025I was disappointed with this accommodation. The description is inaccurate, and one major issue is that parking is not included—it’s paid, which wasn’t stated clearly. This caused unnecessary inconvenience during my stay. I expected more transparency about the amenities and costs.

Reviewed Aug 26, 2025The rooftop restaurant and bar at the New Dawn Hotel next door was excellent. One of our receptionists was very nice, polite and always greeted us with a smile. The other was surly and needs a talking to. The housekeeper was very polite and helpful.
The surly receptionist!! Room was not well decorated. The bedsheets weren't big enough to fit the bed.

There were no complimentary water, shampoo, soap, coffee etc. unlike before. It's hard for us to know if it's already daytime since our room has been covered by another building. Maybe, it would had been better if I didn't accept the free upgrade of the room.

The down button of the elevator in the 4th floor is malfunctioning at that time. Sometimes, we have to go down to the 3rd floor by stairs before we can use the elevator going to the ground floor. Anyway, that can easily be addressed.
