Location was ok, we missed breakfast.

Location is good.

Towels are too old like rugs. Sockets are loose. No coffee, cream and sugar in the room. The electric kettle is defective, may cause thermal burns by accident. Should be replaced.

room is ok, but some lights are not working, the ceiling lights are not working or busted. room 1508. location is by far excellent. cleanliness is good, but needs to deep clean as the corners of the rooms both in the floor and ceiling are so dusty.

the towels that needs to be replaced its a century old towel. lights in the room should be checked and busted lights should be replaced. deep clean the room and bathrooms. no shower room rugs.

I love the AC in my room and the rooftop restaurant and bar.

I didn’t like the wait for the elevator. The shower felt cramped and I didn’t like the bar soap. The sheets didn’t feel clean, there were some black marks on the white sheets.

Seems everything are not maintained and put at its best: change the 5 year old towel, toilet bowl flush needs to be fixed, towel hangers needs to be replaced, fridge needs to be checked by electricians, it was defrost. Blinds dont work well this is in room 1004

I like that the location is great. The staff is always amazing here.

I could only order a room with out refrigerator and small window. I always get a better room. I understand some times this happens. I am looking forward for my next visit. I always stay here. The breakfast was good but last year it was amazing.

Many to mention. Room 1005 old room with non functioning heater, no coffee or creamer, the towels are so old like a rug, no hairdryer, not all ceiling lights are working, the blinds are not rolling up and down, cockroaches running on the floor.

Message the hotel through booking.com but didn’t response. The lavatory sink is clogged. Noisy environment. The parking fee is not free.

Distance to shopping malls walkable easily

Rooms tired , kettle and fridge in room and 2 cups . No spoons or coffee or tea . Windows filthy dirty . Wardrobe doors jamming . Superior room booked but is was very tired and desperately needs re doing . I have stayed here before and room was far better .

Decent room size. Right at the heart of the city. Close to everything.

Would be nice if the shower was fully enclosed which can be accomplished with a simple shower curtain. At its current state, when you shower, the water splashes everywhere and wet the entire bathroom.

Very clean and affordable. Staff was professional. Breakfast was very good and nicely appointed! Would stay again.

The staff/guard is not helpful in finding us a parking spot. We had to pay someone for us to secure an overnight parking spot.

Personel friendly and helpfull, after we upgrade our room very nice room. Big enough with fridge and aircon. Jollibee and big malls nearby. Always taxis available.

We had amazing stay at New Dawn Hotel Plus. Staffs are helpful and nice.

Very good customer service, comfortable beds, but we had some roaches in our room and there were electricity issues.

The hotel staff and facilites were good, roof top bar and breakfast were both good,

however the rooms themselves are not very noise proof, so you can hear everything in the hall ways and rooms next door, this kept us awake everynight. Shower did not get hot, so almost cold showers daily.

the wifi was unusable. you expect the wifi to be there as advertised. frustrating. when asked the front desk they said they had a lot of people staying and nothing they could do about it. won't be staying there again.

Comfort and Convenience in one stay! Our children and parent is very comfortable and all the malls are accessible which is very convenient.

I stayed here a few years back when they were still finishing the building. The facilities were in all good working order. Now, not to much. We were visiting for my sister's 50th. We booked 6 rooms between us and ALL rooms had no towels in them!!! Considering we checked in around 4pm, you'd think housekeeping would have the time to prepare the towels, but no! We had a birthday party to host at 6pm so we went to freshen up/shower. Had to stand wet post showering as it took about 30 minutes to bring in the towel. After the birthday party, past midnight, couldn't get any sleep as one of the lights switch was broken so couldn't turn it off. For its price point (around 40 gbp), not worth it really. I imagine you can get better hotels to stay in. Would not stay again. The staff were attentive and friendly though.

The hotel is new built and convenient to walk around near by restaurants. Although they do not have their own parking garage and have to park in a gas station property which probably they have rented. Overall is a nice hitel. Also i was disappointed that thier iwn restaurants was closed on our checked in dates.

Coffee in the room

One of the tallest buildings in Cagayan De Oro and they have quite cozy rooftop restaurant with a great tasting food. Negatives is that even elevator says rooftop closes at 12 midnight at 10PM they were already rushing us to pay the bill. They also didnt have any normal beers in stock so it was a bit of a letdown. Staff are friendly, but rooms and amenities need improvement. -Walls in rooms are like paper, noise from road and hallway is loud. -WiFi connection was the worst I have experienced in a hotel since year 1999. -There is no coffee/tea in the room, only 2 water bottles. -There was no remote control for the TV -There is no blackout curtains which makes sleeping after 6AM quite hard. -Water in the shower was not hot, after 10 minutes still less than skin temperature. -Elevators are not synced so people will always order 2 and it causes extended waiting time. -There was a lot of small cockroaches in the room that entered through the plywood patch on the wall under the aircon.

The staff was very well trained and the location is excellent.

Rooms had cockroaches, the room is not cleaned well, theres no parking most of the time which is unacceptable for a high-rise building.

Restaurant was poor food cold and reheated.

Roof top bar, and the breakfast. I think the security guards were very good and watched their guests of the hotel. The person that showed me to the room was very good at his job.

I wish it was closer into town

The room was clean with modern amenities. The rooftop bar was great.

This was the second of two nights and a different room from the first. Despite being a "Superior" room as they called it was infested with little German cockroaches. I think they were coming from the bathroom floor drain and would come out as soon as you turned the light off. Also the previous corner room was better windows on two walls than this single windowed one.

I wasnt aware construction was going on in the building and/or beside it. Construction noise was full on even before 9am. The floor we were in has a strong paint and paint thinner smell as well.

I have stayed here for 5th time for the location and the rate. It was so convenient to have access to Watson Drug Store which is just next door, Jolibee, Caltex Minimart and 24 hour food stalls among others. Will be better to upgrade the beds and towels and add extra room ameneties specially coffee bar. Be best for the front desk morning and evening shift to be courteous. A simple greeting or an eye to eye contact with a soft smile will give us guest a welcoming feeling. GC

I really like the location because it’s close to everything esp. when it comes to food….

For the price and location it is great. There are several things though , like the gym os not open and only once have i looked at the breakfast and decided to purchase. Being American my tastes are different than was prepared. All in all i am happy here and have extended my time twice already.

DIRTY OUTDATED SOME STAFF AREN’T NICE

Just didn't like it. Front clerk told a lie.

the place is centrally located accrss to rides, restaurant, eateries, general stores even pharmacy.. its right next door.. so as gas station if you're driving.

one issue we had was when in the lobby.. there were flying insects that bother us.. some were biting but mostly buzzing sround you. those bkue light insect killer will do wonder if installed.

Maybe the location

Hotel standard check-in time is 2 PM, but we had to wait until 3 PM to check in. This delay was quite inconvenient and reflects poor customer service.
