Great value for money. Clean, spacious room, with a nice big shower, about 15-20 minutes walk from centre of Newcastle. Included wifi and breakfast in a bag. Lovely, friendly, happy staff.

Hotel located within walking distance of the city centre. Staff were friendly.

Per other reviews, the hotel is tired and in need of some TLC. You can see signs of water damage in some hallways. In our room, some lights did not work. Boxing around some pipes was also pulling away from the wall. Parking is not free. Two nights cost £20.

Not a nice place to stay staff rude and staff walk in ya room without knocking first made my mate fall of the bed and bust her head open on radiator as she was asleep and there scared her she is autistic so she has to fall asleep to mucis but wasn't accommodated for this very rude staff and was asked to leave with no option of another hotel or money back

There was nothing not to dislike

Good staff. Enjoyed conversation with the gentleman who works nights, very friendly. Location is very good and room was good value for money. You get what you pay for, in a good way. Would stay there again no problem.

Kettle didn't work in the morning although it worked the evening before. That was the same in the other room we booked. Breakfast was a basic carry bag with cheap croissant, yoghurt etc but again, no reflection on the value it's just it would have been nice to have been able to go downstairs and grab a cooked breakfast after a decent night's kip but not possible sadly.

The location was okay, you could get a bus outside the accommodation to and from the central station near the city centre. I’m elderly so the bus stop made it easier for me to get around

I like the room size, quietness, shower / hot water.

Strangely , there is only 1 specific room (in the Premium room rate) that has air-conditions (I think it's room 302) but the rest of the room has only fans (while the rate is the same). The bed and pillow quality is also a problem for me. The mattress seems to be sinking in the middle when I sleep and the pillows are too soft and flat. They seems to be of cheap quality. There are stains on the sofa in the room (almost every room I stayed in in the Premium Double Room (301 - 308). The door to the bathroom is not able to lock thus creating noises at night with winds from the fan.

I stayed over the great North run weekend so the hotel was very overpriced for what it was the room it's self is dated it's right next to a fire station so you will hear the alarms going off , I was lucky I didn't have to pay for parking as I booked last year but other guests did

Very dated old and tired looking rooms, needs refurbishing. Would be just about ok for stag do maybe. Lights didn’t work, extractor fan sounded like a motorbike that was going to break down. Defo not worth £388 for two nights. I get that demand was high due to great north run but still can’t justify that.

Location was great and it had all the basics. Room was cleaned well when I needed it. Snacks were available to buy at a decent price. Clean towels when needed. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The WiFi did not work at all and I really needed the WiFi. A lot of the outlets in the room weren’t working. I wish breakfast was a little more interesting. No hair conditioner provided. The soap given was hand wash, body wash and shampoo all in one.

make sure your care registration in put in place or pay directly to property and keep recipe. Pay for my stay but 2 weeks later get ticket. Manager sort all after sending email and proof for paying. Un necessary issues after.

Arrived and then left within 10 minutes. Smelt awful, stains up the walls and not looked after. Would never book again. Asking for a refund however getting no reply.

The location was excellent and the rooms exceeded our expectations. The bed and pillows were very comfy.

A lift would have been very helpful we were all in our 70s and lugging our cases up the stairs with a bad knee was a tad challenging. Apart from that we had a lovely time and would def stay with Rooms Inn again.

Leider kein Aufzug und das Frühstück (Grab & Go) war etwas dürftig (Getränk fehlte und Frühstück bestand lediglich aus einem kleinen Croissant, einem Apfel und einem Joghurt).

Nice spacious rooms with a clean bathroom. Close to the city centre, especially if you’re driving.

One of our rooms didn’t have a window that could open. Would have loved a mini fridge but it’s not something I am disappointed not having.

Good value for money. We only stayed one night as it was a stop over for another destination but the room was comfortable and it was all we needed with good facilities.

When I booked earlier in the year the parking was free/ complimentary to hotel guests but this changed a couple of months after my booking to £10 a day. Was not notified of the change.

Cosy room with very good facilities including all that I needed: to make coffee or tea, milks, sugar, kettle also hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Very cozy bed and soft pillows.

Once I woke up the room was smelling dumped although I left the window a bit open all night. I think it will be good that the manager takes action to resolve this as a dump room causing health issues.

Honestly the only memorable part would be opening the window for some fresh air

There was rips and tears on the side sofa that turned to a bed and I suppose the previous tenants shot a loogie on the window curtains and it was left for us to find clear as day, for the price I expected more tho they did provide wine I read was 14-19 pounds ended up costing 22-25 pounds there’s no lift so I had to haul mine and my partners heavy luggage without any help and the woman working that front desk seemed tired of us from the moment we arrived granted we arrived a bit early for check in time she did give us a space to keep our luggage while we waited 6hours for the room to become available she was pretty rude raising her voice at times because we checked in early but was somehow friendly at checkout perhaps she needed some rest but overall disappointed because I booked for practicality an upgrade of the hotel stay from where we previously were yet found a place almost double the price with a bit of a downgrade from where we were. Pretty disappointed with this place tho the pictures make it seem as if it’s some low class fancy hotel I wished I could go back and just overlook this place but what’s done is done

It had a disgusting smell in the room and didn't feel clean. The light switch at either side of the bed was broken the cable of the phone was loose and possibly broken too.

Bath taps didn't work, general wear and tear of room, window wasn't secure, cobwebs, just generally quite run down, fixtures broken, small towels.

The location was good and the staff were nice and respectful.

I was disappointed there was no restaurant breakfast, only a bag breakfast. I also had to pay £10 for parking, which was disappointing. There was only one plug socket in the room; more would be helpful. I booked two rooms and asked in advance for them to be next to each other. Staff said they would try their best, but when we arrived, one room was upstairs and the other was downstairs, far along the hallway. The WiFi was poor, it kept cutting off and was slow. The room next to us was very loud, and my kids couldn’t sleep because of the noise. The TV was old and did not have a subtitle option. I am deaf and need subtitles, so this was a real problem for me. Overall, I was not happy with this stay and won’t be booking this hotel again.

Bed with a very thin mattress, sofa and carpet very dirty and worn. There is no breakfast. It’s a paper bag with a juice in a carton a yogurt an apple and a croissant. This should not be advertised as breakfast. And parking is pay to stay.
