Proximity to Western
No sports on TV
I loved the whole essence of the place! Its history, its vibe, the path and the grotto, the beautiful chapel in the seniors’ residence, the comfort of the room and single bed, and the kitchen and shower facilities
Nothing is coming up for that The only 2 things were minor: 1) I am from out of town, so when I sat down to eat my dinner, I was excited to eat and read the little list that stood on all the tables about all the happenings going for the month in the area. However, I soon realized the August list had not been updated to September yet (and it was September 10!) 2) very loud air conditioner in the room - I chose to turn it off and open the window - which is my favourite thing to do anyway! And the evenings are nice and cool anyway
Has full kitchen with fridge freezers to use. Lots of space for cooking and eating. Has shared lounges with sofas and TV. Don’t like the shared bathrooms - inadequate privacy. Housekeeping doing an awesome job.
Lockable shower rooms would be good in the communal bathroom. Shower area could use some bath mats, shower gel, shampoo etc.
They didn't take the garbage from the room.
Excellent location Within walking distance of University Hospital
The freezers were completely full of food. There really was no room for anymore. I was just wondering if some of the people have left the premises and didn’t clean out their food. This would make room for others to place their food in the freezer.
Le lieu et les espaces comme salon et cuisine
Le lit. Le matelas qui selon moi était beaucoup trop vieux et mou. Très inconfortable
Nothing
Rooms were dirty. Air conditioning didn't work. Guest was told to "open a window". Guests were forced to use the public washroom - with no shower - in the lobby.
Very close to campus. It’s clean and tidy.
The grounds are beautiful. The room was large, quiet and comfortable.
The local was unconventional, but a great use of the property.
Close to university hospital, loved the kitchenette.
There was no breakfast served
No tv
Very Quiet well cared for property
For the most part expect a senior clientele.
C'est calme
Je n'ai apprécié d'occuper une chambre sans salle de bain où l'on doit se déplacer à l'extérieur pour avoir le bain
Simple, comfortable
The ladies in the receptions are nice. The location is near to Western University middlesex college.
Very poor service, especially the old man who is the cleaning staff is so arrogant and extremely poor behavior. But the ladies in the receptions are nice. Not at all worth the money, over costly. The room is so small and feels like a student hostel while the money they are charging is quite huge.
La tranquillité
Puisque je déteste les ascenseurs, je ne pouvais pas me rendre à ma chambre sans l’utiliser.
Close to the hospital.
No shower I my room.
Location, quiet and fairly priced.
Bedrooms need more accessible electrical outlets and a small desk/table that would allow work to be done in the room, rather than in communal areas.
Very good location, just beside the Main Street, easy to go sightseeing spots on foot, even go to climb the top of hill to have a bird eye view of Montréal city.
Location. Close to University Hospital.
Clean and easy to check in
Seemed like a bad area, a lot of police presence the night I stayed.
The fact that it is walking distance to the University Hospital, the location is amazing!
Nothing
Quiet and clean and simple
Nothing
The location was perfect for our University Hospital appointments.
My laptop has a bigger screen than the TV.
Home away from Home.
Nothing, no.complaimts
location close to the mall and grocery stores, bus stop, etc. Very quiet at night as the building is at the top of a hill. Beautiful gardens and trees on the property. Very private and safe. Lots of free parking. Close to the hospital.
Toilet needs better cleaning. Our toilet was not flushing well in Room 301. On the last morning, the flush got stuck and would not stop. Gallons of water was uncontrollable flushed down in about an hour and half. Second complaint: Side lamp light had no shade, the switch was broken so the light did not work. The light was plugged in so the switch needed to be changed and a lampshade put over the bulb for safety reasons. The mattress needs replacement as one side was a bit lopsided.
Quiet. Good parking. Reasonably priced. Helpful, friendly staff. Low key. Good location. Relaxed. Clean.
The lack of furniture on the balcony. It's not really usable without some furniture.
Check-in is easy and friendly. Rooms are clean and reasonable price.
Lack of smaller amenities - soap and shampoo dispensers completely empty. TV in the room is extremely small. One roll of toilet paper and no spares. One tiny trash bin, etc. I think it would benefit from small improvements like that. Place is clean and the 'bones' are there, but its lacking those little things.
Close to hospital
A male cleaner attempted to come into my shower. I spoke to the desk manager, Mr. Wood, and he did absolutely nothing about this. When I confronted this individual after I spoke with the general manager, he smirked at me and said the camera showed that I knocked. Individual did not knock or verbally announce himself. After this, when I was alone in the elevator, he attempted to come in with a large cart. Again, I told him to get out. Once again, nothing was done. I have involved a lawyer and the police. The showers are unsafe for women.
Pretty and convienent, super cozy
Musty and old cracking amenities… chair was yucky and stained. I just wish the old stained carpets were replaced to get that old smell out (same with the pillows)
The property is so pretty.
Nothing
A male cleaner did not announce his presence, attempted to come into my shower. I yelled at him to get out, he gave a weak "sorry". Then, i rec'd a call from Operations Mgr, Bruce Woods, stating he wanted to have a "chat" with me. I asked him what and he said "all the staff" had complained about me and my demeanor. They reported "I was condescending". When I asked him what he meant, who said this, he refused to give any information. He widely accused me of this without any evidence. Then, he said in his "investigation" of the male cleaner, he had looked at the camera and showed him "knocking". I asked if he was accusing me of lying. I said the camera does not extend into the shower area, and even if he knocked, he did not use any verbal warning to announce his presence. I have involved my lawyers in this matter. I am also involving the police, as when I went onto the elevator, he attempted to come in withis his cleaning cart. i again yelled at him to get out.
Oh I like the staff they were kind and friendly what I didn't like was the hotel itself it was a little dirty and the room very tasted of dust I could tell right away when I walked in probably from the carpet it's not that it wasn't clean it's just hard to get rid of dust on a carpet like that I opened the window for about an hour I mean other than that it was okay
I rented room for $69. And then they charged me to a better room for a 180, but the theory didn't work. The place was a little dirty. It was missing utensils. I had to go back 730. Because the internet wasn't working. The TV was down. It wasn't a good stay at all. I wish I could get my money back I wouldn't recommend that place to anybody. I've charged to a better room with those service. T v didn't work half the time messine a.Was, poo in the toilet
Particular reimburse me for the price of the original room would have been a better stay for half the price. The room was bigger, but not better. There's Pooh in the toilet. The internet didn't work. TV didn't work at froz. I enjoyed nothing about that stay.Would never go there again
Nice and quiet place
The price is a bit expensive for a guest house at least a compensatory breakfast could be added for the price .Overwall it was a great experience though.
Initial room booked had deficits that could not be resolved immediately ( weekend) and Reception accommodated by providing an excellent alternative for my comfort. This was very much appreciated by this weary traveler..
Frequent visitor to the Guest House and it was my most peaceful retreat.in a difficult time.
Very close to the hospital we're my wife had to be.
There was nothing I could say that I didn't like about the place.
Bathroom was well thought out for my daughter in a wheelchair….close to hospital.
We needed a place for all our kids to stay close to University Hospital where their grandpa was on life support! Shout out to the great staff who worked with me in the middle of the night to mKe that happen!
Great location, easy to find, in a quiet area.
Didn't have any.
Chairs. No plug ins for phones charging. No shower.
Very nice location very enjoyable to walk around
Location was perfect for us. Room size and number of beds was ideal. Great value. Kitchenette was well appointed. Check-in and check-out was easy.
Mattresses weren't very comfortable.
The hotel does not provide in room coffee or breakfast, so we chose a room with kitchen facilities. Some of the rooms do not come with a shower, so we chose this room because it came with a full bath and a queen bed. The room was more expensive, but we needed these conveniences. We basically chose this hotel due to its close proximity to London University Hospital since we had an early morning medical appointment.
When we first entered our room the air conditioning was set at 18 degrees C. The room was freezing, and we couldn't turn on the heat. When we asked the desk how to get the heat on they said to move the arrows up or down which we told her we had already done, to which she just responded that she didn't know how, but did not volunteer to send anyone to help. The tea towel that was left for use in the kitchen was soaking wet and we had to return it to the desk and ask for another. The hotel is very picky about guests soiling their linens, to the point that they have signs in the washroom requesting that guests use the provided makeup removers and have switched their face cloths to black ones that don't show any stains. As a result, we take our own. They only provide one key for the room which can often be inconvenient. Although we chose the most expensive room the hotel has to offer, the room is quite small with a table and 2 chairs that are squished into a corner of the room.
Location was good in terms if getting to western
Cleanliness of the room could be better. There were stains allover the walls. Although I had shared washroom, there could be a mirror in the room.
Great location for western parents, laundry facilities, close to campus, no fuss accommodation.
Close to hospital
Tv didn’t work at all and bed was not that comfortable
Great place , friendly staff , and peaceful .
Location was quiet and peaceful. The hotel itself was secure and I felt safe after a couple of terrible experiences with Airbnbs.
The a/c was old and did not cool the room as much as I would have liked.
I rented a single queen bed with a full bath, and it was perfectly sized for me to have enough room to be comfortable without being ridiculously big. The location is only a short drive from downtown, which made it easy to get around without having to deal with constant traffic noise during the night. The bed was also very comfortable. The staff were polite and accommodating.
The facilities seemed pretty outdated; my room had chipped paint and the soap dispenser in the bathroom did not work. I also did not have a way to turn on the extractor fan for the shower. No peephole on the inside of the room's door either, and no additional interior latch or chain to secure the door besides the automatic handle lock. The balcony was also very run down and unwelcoming, more just a concrete patio with peeling paint and no furniture.
Very clean, free parking
Bathrooms need an update but didn't affect my overall rating of my stay
Location, guest lounge
Location was great
Staff was lovely and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable.
light over bed wouldn't work
Beds were really comfortable. Love the self catering. Was clean and friendly.
We were given an accessible room but didn’t need it (or know that was what we were booking). Seating was available on 3rd floor but we didn’t have access to it since we were on the 1st floor. Was slightly concerned about security since we had a room on the first floor and door to hallway was left open all day. It is in a quiet area and we had no issues but concerned that someone who wasn’t a guest could come down the hallway.
有一个公共厨房,房间很干净,性价比还行
设施老旧,床太小了
Very clean washroom and bathroom
Aircon is quite loud in the room.
