Die Anlage ist insgesamt sehr gepflegt und sauber.

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist leider überhaupt nicht ausgewogen. Die Unterkunft ist hellhörig, liegt inmitten der Stadt, die Fenster sind nicht ausreichend abzudunkeln. Enthalten waren auf dem Zimmer täglich 2 Flaschen Wasser pro Person, weiter nichts, auch nicht gegen Aufpreis. In der Lobby gab es zu besonderen Zeiten lediglich Coke mit Zucker und Grünen Tee. Sitzplätze gab es nur in Räumen ohne Fenster. Auch im kleinen Garten gibt es keine Sitzmöglichkeit. Auf der eigenen Terrasse stehen ein Tisch und Plastikstühle zur Verfügung. Leider aber keine Liegen. Absolut überzogener Preis.

Der Aufenthalt hat wirklich alle Erwartungen übertroffen. Klar, es ist ein hochpreisiger. Trotzdem haben wir selten so ein starkes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis gehabt. Zimmer 1A, Personal 1A, Essen 1A und mit dem privaten Onsen die absolute Krönung. Besonders schön war, dass meiner Partnerin das japanische Frühstück zu japanisch war und sie dafür völlig unkompliziert ein westliches bekam, was dann auch auf absolut höchstem Niveau und exzellent war. Ein ganz großes Lob!

Der Service könnte für das Preisniveau etwas mehr bieten z.B. Abholservice oder ein Frühstückspaket, wenn man nicht zum Frühstück kommen kann

Außergewöhnliches Hotel, sehr exklusiv und gehobenen Standards. Alles, innen wie auch hinsichtlich der Außenanlagen, ist penibel gepflegt, sehr sauber und ordentlich. Das Personal ist ausgenommen freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Die Größe und Ausstattung der Zimmer suchen ihresgleichen. Sie sind traditionell eingerichtet, dennoch sehr modern und komfortabel. Das Frühstück ist sehr privat sowie von vorzüglicher Qualität. Dieser Hotelaufenthalt gehört zu den absoluten Highlights, der vielen Hotels, die ich erleben durfte. Ganz großes Kino. Vielen herzlichen Dank an das gesamte Hotelteam.

Bauart- und lagebedingt ist der Verkehr in der Nacht deutlich zu hören und kann empfindlichen Gemütern den Schlaf spürbar stören. Leider ist Geräuschdämmung kein Vorzug dieser ansonsten kaum zu überbietenden Einrichtung.

The staff were so attentive and helpful throughout our stay. They made sure we were looked after the whole stay. The breakfast was incredible and had so much variety. The lounge was incredible with a Starbucks coffee machine as well.

Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is an exceptional onsen. The facility, grounds, and staff were so welcoming that the stay seemed effortless.

There was nothing that rose to the level of a dislike. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

This was the absolute highlight of our Japan trip! Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is absolute luxury right down to the finest minute detail. The staff are fantastic and the facilities are beautiful it's nestled in an amazing location a short walk or bike ride if you prefer from everything. The breakfast provided is so delicate, healthy and nutritious. If you are looking for a great quiet honeymoon location this Onsen is perfect for couples or dual-couples with their twin bedding room options. We cannot wait to return to Japan again simply to stay at Onsenji Yumedono. Thank you to the wonderful staff for making our stay so special and for accommodating our every need without even the slightest hesitation!

For our honeymoon, we wanted a room with private onsen, finding and booking this hotel was the best choice ever!!! The personel is amazing and so friendly, The rooms are amazing, super clean, super pretty and worth every penny. The outdoor onsen is amazing, even in the hot weather we are having now (August). After a long day, it feels so amazing. The breakfast was amazing. They have locally made jam as part of the western style menu and it is the best jam i've tasted in years. Just fruit and a little added sugar. We also tried the japanese style breakfast. It was an amazing experience, and i would recomend trying it at least ones. Thank you so much for everything! if we ever come back to japan, i would definitely book here again!

Le lieu est très mignon et très propre. Le onsen privé fait également son effet. Le personnel est accueillant et serviable, il m'a notamment fait parvenir à tokyo des objets oubliés, en un temps record.

Le petit-déjeuner peut être assez déroutant pour un européen. Il s'agit d'un large assortiment salé : sashimis, fruits de mer, soupe miso, riz...

we stay at fuji onseji as part of our honeynoon. it was a great expereince. the staff was very accomodating and the food was superb. overall high recomended.

The "villa" we stayed in was beautifully crafted and felt like you were staying in a more authentic Japanese retreat. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Thoroughly enjoyed our private Onsen soaking tub and wearing the beautiful pajamas and robes to dinner!

The inability to turn off the emergency lights did make it somewhat difficult to sleep. Otherwise, would not change a thing.

Пожалуй самый плохой отель за неделю проживания в Японии. В разных городах. Никак не тянет на пятерку. Четверка или крепкая тройка, никак не больше. Есть вопросы к отелю. Предполагаю, что к посетителям лучшего номера в отеле всегда идет лучшее отношение отеля, но наверное не здесь… Минибара в номере нет. В номере есть только питьевая вода. С учетом того, что нет бара в самом отеле, считаю что это большой минус и так не должно быть. Есть лаунж, но он очень странный с ограниченным временем работы и очень ограниченным набором напитков. Кофе, лимонад, очень посредственное вино… Напомню, что это гостиница 5 звезд. Завтрак по количеству блюд отличный, а вот обслуживание на низком уровне. После того, как нас расположили за столом, официант подходил только для того чтобы принести десерт уже в следующий раз. Ни воды предложить, ни рис, ни чай зеленый некому и где его взять самому инструкций тоже нет. Надо отдать должное садовнику - все очень аккуратно и чисто на территории.

The room was amazing and the private onsen and garden were beautiful. The bedding was so comfortable despite being futons on the ground and the food was next level. The breakfast was insane! Provisions for the Bub were much appreciated and the teens loved the Starbucks self serve station. Lots of restaurants close by and easy free parking. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Highly recommend for a luxury treat stay.

The weather!! Honestly couldn’t fault anything else. Food, service, even price for what we got was great. Our own private onsen was next level.

L’hôtel et les chambres sont à la hauteur des attentes pour ce niveau. Le Onsen était vraiment agréable.

La gestion des repas est assez compliquée: un discours pénible et peu ouvert sur le régime gluten free lors du Check in, alors qu’au final ils ont parfaitement accommodé.

Lovely room and the hot spring bath was wonderful. The breakfast was very traditional and a real ceremony. It was unique.

We arrived a little early and there was no where really to go within the hotel. No staff was to be seen. Only once you are allowed to check in, can you get inside.

It was truly an overall exceptional experience. The food, though extremely pricey, was like nothing else. The service was top notch. The attention to detail and creativity of the menu was impressive. Also, the room was extremely clean and well appointed and the layout was perfect. The private onsen was exquisite.

I wish there had been more clarity about adding dinner. While exquisite, it’s not just dinner. It’s an experience. People should really know what they are choosing or missing out on.

The service from the staff was outstanding from the moment we drove into the car park until the time we left 3 days later, nothing was too much trouble. Lovely room, fantastic Japanese cuisine.

The service was the highlight. The whole team was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind throughout our four-night stay. The food was excellent too. My friend doesn’t eat pork and I am vegetarian. The team handled our dietary needs really well at every meal, with a lot of thought going into each course. Our room was beautiful and peaceful, and the onsen was fantastic, exactly what you want after a day out around Fujikawaguchiko. I didn’t take any photos of the room itself. I was so relaxed and busy enjoying the facilities that I barely touched my phone.

Have absolutely no complaints...everything was as we'd hoped for

It was 5 of us, so 2 rooms one for my parents and a triple for my husband, son and me. We also had the dinner and breakfast experiences included. My parents room was lovely and renovated. My room was spacious but a bit tired - needs a bit of a face lift. Both rooms have beautiful private gardens and onsens! Both were spotless. The dinner and breakfast were fantastic, definitely 5 star Japanese service. They also had traditional clothing if you wanted to change into it. Mum and I did!. Staff were lovely. Ah! and I had a beautiful massage in my room.

all was lovely. Just my room probably needed to be updated, compared to my parents room that was obviously newer. But we loved the place. A beautiful experience.

We were surprise upgraded to a Presidential suite from a standard twin room and it exceeded all expectations, especially the private onsen, which was well worth it for us. Even despite this the facilities in the main building were beautiful, clean, peaceful and the staff were endlessly helpful and friendly. It was only a short walk down to the lake with amazing views of Fuji - couldn't recommend this place more!

The suite in the main building was definitely a lot more dated. Also the villa was right next to the main road - so when in the onsen you could hear people & cars which was a little disruptive to the experience.

A lovely, quiet, and traditional ryokan in a convenient location, with outstanding hospitality throughout our stay. We were especially touched by the warm welcome upon our arrival and the thoughtful send-off when the staff accompanied us to our car as we departed. Eleganza e rispetto sono le prime sue cose che saltano agli occhi. La struttura è magnifica, i giardini che circondano le varie aree sono straordinariamente curati.

The property was very clean and well-staffed. Rooms were nicely appointed with linens, traditional pajamas and kimonos, and slippers to wear around the property. Location in Fujikawaguchiko was great, within walking distance to many restaurants and the lake where we enjoyed a picnic and some kayaking with great views of the mountain. Traditional Japanese breakfast served each morning was a true feast with all the accoutrements and a very fun experience.

We stayed in the two bedroom suite which I thought was quite expensive and not a great value for the cost. It's possible this would have been a different experience in a standard room with a better value balance. The layout of the suite in relation to the rest of the property was not ideal – the private onsen area is directly adjacent to the main path entering the hotel, separated only by frosted glass, so anytime people are coming or going it can feel very intrusive. The pictures make it look secluded and private, but in reality you hear people walking by, talking, and luggage being hauled in and out. Not terrible, but not the most relaxing private serene experience we were expecting. It felt like the staff wanted to be attentive and hospitable, but it just wasn't landing. We stayed two nights, and we were told we had to clear out of our room from 11am-3pm for cleaning on our one full day there. When I asked whether that could be shortened to allow us time to enjoy our onsen experience (there is no communal pool/onsen or common area at the hotel apart from a small interior lounge with a coffee maker and some complimentary wine), they said no – all or nothing. So, we made it work with no cleaning at all. They were constantly asking about our plans coming and going (how long we would be in or out, where we came from and where we were going, etc), which I wanted to assume was earnest interest and/or in service of some backend planning, but they never seemed to act on any of the information given and it just ended up feeling needlessly interrogatory. They insisted on collecting our bags over an hour before we were set to depart which made the checkout experience feel rushed. Overall the service was just not on par with what you might expect from a property in this price tier.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Die Zimmer sind hervorragend ausgestattet. Das Onsen-Bad auf der Terrasse ist wunderbar. Das Abendessen im Keiseki-Stil, also mehrere japanische Gänge, ist großartig. Auch das japanische Frühstück ist ein Erlebnis für Auge und Gaumen. Japanische Gastfreundschaft und Perfektion.

القهوه متوفره إلى الساعه 7 م من جهاز ستاربكس ( يعني ماهي قهوه بروفشنال ماشي حالها ) ، ماعندهم خدمه الخروج المتأخر يعني طلبنا نقعد إلى الساعه وحده لان قطارنا الساعه 3 بس الي وافقو عليها نقعد إلى 12 بمبلغ إضافي 130 ريال .

A fantastic getaway with private onsen! It feels very secluded and unique, the onsen in the room is truly a piece or art - not just a basin filled with "spring" water but real stone bath in a small Japanese garden. It is truly a delight, highly recommend!

The bathroom itself is a bit old and hard to manage - we didn't figure out how to use the western shower...

Gefallen hat uns leider fast gar nichts. Der Garten vor dem Eingang vielleicht. Er war winzig und es gab eine Handvoll Koi Karpfen. Das Essen war relativ gut. Stand aber in keiner Relation zum Preis. Wir wussten das nicht und haben das Menü vor gebucht und konnten nicht mehr stornieren. Um punkt acht Uhr wird man hinauskomplementiert. Keine Bar im Hotel, nur ein Aufenthaltsraum, der wie in einer Schülerherberge aussieht, der vormittags und nachmittags für wenige Stunden geöffnet ist.

Wir haben ein 5 Sterne Haus gebucht und noch nicht einmal zwei Sterne bekommen. Mit einem ranzigen Kühlschrank in der Ecke, von der Wand abfallenden Tapete, direkt an einer viel befahrenen Straße. Laut. Ungepflegt. Unvorstellbar, wer diesem Haus Fünf Sterne gegeben hat. Auf den zerschlissenen Handtüchern waren Blutrückstände. Eine Zumutung!!! Und dafür mehr als 1000 Euro pro Nacht. Einfach enttäuschend. Kein Blick, nur auf den Hinterhof einer Fabrik oder so hinter einem Bretterverschlag. Das kleine Onsen voller Algen. Nachts sind die Autos neben unseren Kopfkissen vorbeigerattert. Alte Klimaanlage, war ebenfalls laut. Wir sind nach zwei Tagen gerädert abgefahren.

Such lovely staff! Also a lot of good restaurants nearby, location is perfect. The private onsen was just a next level experience😍 so was the traditional breakfast.

Food, onsen

Amazing service!! On arrival: Staff were waiting at the entrance on our arrival. They also offer shuttle bus for pickup but we opted to drive, and the staff always helped us with getting in and out of the Food: The breakfast everyday was amazing. The self-serve coffee machines were Starbucks branded which didn't matter too much but it was pretty handy when we were staying in for the day. There were tea options as well. The dinner was just as good, but have to book in advance. I had a special request which they accommodated really well. Room: Huge, spacious, comfortable. Has a little view of Fuji-san! Could fit a whole family and some! Location: The hotel was easily 10min walk to Lake Kawaguchiko. 15-20 to the station. 5-10min walk to Gusto/Ogino and other restaurants. Easily accessible on the main road. Staff: The female staff member (which I sadly didn't get the name of) who checked us in was super friendly and even gave us a tip for the fireworks that were on the night of our check in. When we drove off to the station on check-out she saw us in their shuttle and called for us to say bye. It was so lovely! Staff were very attentive and always checking up on us. I spoke little japanese but the staff tried to speak back to me in japanese which was very nice as I got to practice as well. Overall a wonderful stay!!

A couple of things.... The onsen was outside and wasn't covered so out of the 3 nights we stayed there, we could only use it once because it was raining the other days. As much as we wanted to try the onsen under the rain, the temperature was about 8-10 deg Celsius so we weren't brave enough to be undressed half cold and half hot. We also realised that on the other side of our outdoor onsen was the street and the carpark! We weren't expecting anyone to jump over the fence and peek, but we felt a bit exposed after finding that out. Our room was located near the dining area and the smoking area. Convenient for food, but whenever we walk out we basically encounter guests who have just used the smoking room so outside our door always smelled like smoke and cigarettes. There was high traffic outside our door as well because of the dining area, and the staff door that was used frequently throughout the day. The toilet was near the entrance so it was a bit awkward when we heard people pass as we used it. Luckily, the sitting area and bedroom were a bit more separated for privacy.
