No hot water in the shower , only lukewarm water, equipment too old damaged, have too reactivate the key room few times

at first came, our experience quite terrible, the room having some black spot on the carpet. However, shortly after we mentioned it to the receptionist, a staff named Kiki came and patiently assisted us. he upgraded our room to connecting with vinyl floor and cute decor on bed, After that our stay became very pleasant and enjoyable, it was 10/10 service. Considering the price we paid, it was definitely worth it. Thank you so much Kiki and Grand Tjokro Jakarta team, we love you guys, wishing you all the best luck further!!

Great location from my work place that I visited Jakarta last month, staff were friendly, courteous and genuine, they able to provided and gave fast response to my inquiry, special thank you to One of your staff named Wahyu, he gave some recommendation and interesting places around Jakarta, perhaps if I visiting Jakarta will definitely come to stay here again

My check in experience is good And The Staffs are helpfull

Had a wonderful iftar experience during Ramadan 2026 at Grand Tjokro Jakarta. The atmosphere was warm, the food selection was delightful, and everything was well-prepared for a memorable evening. A special thank you to Kiki and Bayu for their exceptional service — both were incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the night. Their hospitality truly made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a pleasant and well-organized iftar in Jakarta!

The room was good and clean, the location is very central, and the staff were friendly, especially Mutiara staff lobby who served us to check out

I could have given this hotel a perfect 10. However, there was one issue that really bothered me when i was checking in. After checking in, first thing I did was checking the toilet flusher and found that it was not working properly / blocked. Called the reception and they quickly sent a technician, but the issue was not fully resolved and the technician also said still possibillity to be broken again. I also wait that more than 3 mins the toilet was still continously refilling water - its a long time for a proper toilet. But still the staff refuse to change my room. I called the staff again about the update condition and requested to change rooms I don´t want to have any risk, but I was told that I cannot change the room because they already called the technician and he s repairing it... I only can get a new room if its broken again (??) at the end they change my room after i walk to the lobby I don’t understand why the hotel required additional issue for a room change when there was already evidence of a malfunction. Guests should have the right to request a room change if there is a clear problem—especially something as essential as a malfunctioning toilet that cannot be properly repaired.

It was a very pleasant experience staying at this hotel, the service was very friendly and the staff were really cool, thank you also to the staff member named Kendry for their help, I will definitely come back here.

I was very impressed with the service at this hotel. From the quick check-in process to check-out, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean, cool, spacious, and quiet. The breakfast was also very varied and delicious. The swimming pool and gym facilities were well-maintained. The location is very strategic, close to the shopping center. I have known the brand for quite some time and finally had a chance to experience. The friendly receptionist and kind security personnel in lobby have helped to create a warm and positive welcome. Room definitely needs touch up and requires immediate maintenance. Restaurant served an oke breakfast choices. Again the warm employees added more happiness on to the ambience. I will return as my client chooses this hotel For our workshop venue this month.

I was growing for affordable hotel to spent at least a week during my Jakarta holiday. So, I came across this hotel. I read the review . That’s why I choose and booked this hotel. During my arriving at the hotel, I was greets by lovely and friendly young girl. She known as Frizka, the hotel supervisor . She offered me to look and check couple of rooms. She brought me to the 5ft floor. I looked at the rooms and I choose the room with the vinyl floors. She helps me with the smooth check in. The hotel provide, swimming pools, gym, and room service. The hotel has a car park as well. And the most I like stay there is the super Indo supermarket just next door. How nice 😊 During my stay at Grand Tjokro, I’ve been staying in the same room. Because it was comfortable and convenient room for me. The house keeping guys are very nice and friendly. I had the chance to meet Dede. The nice guy and he was doing extraordinary service whilst i was there. He offered me to clean my room every day. He said, only if he had roster . He and I had a little chat about his current situation. Apparently, he wasn’t a permanent staff at the hotel. It was sad to hear that. I’m hoping, the hotel will give him a chance to be a permanent staff. As he was a good man and he works hard. He was helpful and honest. I’m happy with the way looking after my room. Excellent service from Dede. I am happy during my stay at Grand Tjokro. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for accommodation in Jakarta. The location is very close to the famous shopping centre like Central Park mall, SOHO and Ciputra mall. Easy access to the hotel and anywhere in Jakarta. Thank you for Frizka and the team. Your guys are amazing people. And I’m definitely coming back to stay there.

Had an unforgettable stay at Grand Tjokro Jakarta, highlighted by a beautiful candlelight dinner inside the room. Special thanks to Fira and Fadia at reception for their warm hospitality and seamless arrangements. From the resto Dewi was extremely friendly and helpful and the setup was perfect for a romantic evening. Highly recommend for a special stay!

I got a room on a high floor with a amazing view. This hotel is strategically close to Ciputra mall and Central Park. Cleanliness and service are also excellent, I was really helped by the friendly reception staff named Ulfa. The food at the restaurant is also delicious and has lots of choices. Very worth the price and recommend for those who want to stay in West Jakarta

The location is good in between my work place to the city centre and other tourist locations.

I got a room in front of the lift lobby which is quite noisy with people walking in and out. Breakfast was super disappointing.

My room was good during my stay for 4 days. The location was okay and nearby to my business program. The food was nice and varied. The staff was very polite with nice greetings and helpful during our stay. Thumbs up to all the staff fro their dedication of work.

However, the other 2 rooms of my colleague's stay had a problem with the air-conditioning. They had to switch rooms twice during their stay. Hotel management should check before customers check-in.

Extremely helpful in the time of my need. Thanks Mr Wikri. I needed some prints at the last hour for me to fly to Thailand. And this guy came to my rescue almost at midnight. Otherwise it would have been difficult for me fly out.

the hotelroom was dirty, there was a cockroach in the bathroom which i caught with a glass. i left it there for them to see. the shower drain didnt work properly. there was overflow of water. The Airconditioning didn’t work properly of the building and our room. It was so hot. It barely cooled the room. in the morning it was terrible. i woke up because of the heat. the building is outdated. I would definitely not recommend this hotel.

toilet was leaking, staff did not let us borrow cutlery. Did not make sense, cutlery only allowed if we buy food from the hotel 50k but I offered to get breakfast,because it wasnt included, and their answer was “breakfast and cutlery is different management”. Rooms need renovation.

L'état général de l'hôtel est désastreux: piscine avec eau verte et en maintenance, tous les appareils de la salle de gym sont cassés et en piteux état, la clim ne fonctionne pas dans les parties communes, le petit-déjeuner est tous les jours le même, la moquette de la chambre était sale et la chambre vieillissante, rien à voir avec les photos. L'hôtel est aussi loin de tout, et certainement pas digne d'un 4 étoiles, en particulier pour des stadards indonésiens. Je ne recommande absolument pas cet hôtel. Cette réservation a été faite en remplacement d'un hôtel que j'avais réservé et qui n'était pas disponible à mon arrivée, et je ne suis absolument pas satisfait de ce remplacement, cet établissement ne devrait même pas être proposé par Hotels.com

Only issue had was with towels smell, the rest was good and had comfortable stay.

We ask for extra pillow as each bed was provided with one pillow. They want to charge us for each extra pillow. The foods during breakfast were cold. At night when we go to the hotel for dinner, there was lots of mosquitos in the dinning hall. When we complained to the staff, they just simply smile. They don’t sell beer. When I ask can we bring a can of beer from our room down to drink with our meal, they want to charge for the beer consumed. Very disappointed.

Friendly staff but the breakfast is far below average. The hotel is far too calculative. We stayed in a twin bedroom. Ask the staff to give us 2 extra pillows as each bed is furnished with one pillow, we were refused. They were only prepared to give 1 extra pillow free. We would have to pay for the second extra pillow.

Dirty room, carpet never vacuumed in 5 days , white towels were grey , shower screen, curtain and fixings not clean, Pool in maintenance closed. No Bar so no alcohol at all , bar fridge in room with nothing in it . Breakfast food was the same items for days not fresh ! Web site false!

I travelled to Jakarta on business and was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Extremely comfortable rooms and fast internet connection. Breakfast selection was plentiful and the location was great as it is 150 metres from the lobby to the supermarket.

Hotel room is spacious but condition run down. Aircon & water supply good. But room smell stale & dusty. Carpet condition very old and worn out.

mid-range hotel with excellent service it bit hard to find now in Jakarta, but not in this hotel. Starting from the security in the entrance all greeting politely, seems you were in Jogja / Bali, not Jakarta. Good option for short trip in West Jakarta, also quite near from airport (highway gate just 5 mins from the hotel). Just need to avoid bad traffic in front of hotel during rush hour :)

The hotel and the staff are very nice. The local area is not nice at all though. If you want to exit the hotel and walk somewhere, there are no paths and it's not safe to walk especially at night.
