The lift was not working for last 6 months . I am 74 years old not good walking up 2 floors . Not sure I will not coming back 😕

Breakfast abit of a shambles. Had to find own cutlery from other tables. Had to find the lad who does the coffee. Had breakfast 8.30am. Food good. One bar lady at function. Trying to get a drink very slow. Eventually there were 2.

Nobody told us that breakfast stopped at 9 am it took a lot of persuasion of chef to rustle up something toeat

Better communication of opening and closing times by reception at the start of our stay. On my exit the reception tried to charge me again for breakfast which had been included in our original booking and payment. When I disagreed with this try on I was made to feel he was doing me a favour by letting me off the extra cost.

This is an excellent location for Wexham Park Hospital

The property is a grand place but requires huge investment, old, tired, stained carpets and smelly although the staff did change our room, it was better but not high standard. Staff and food was 100%. We’ve made the decision to stay at Premier Inn next time we have to go.

Location was good for where we needed to go.

Said food was served to. 9pm. Arrived at property at 8.15 pm to be told no food, not even a sandwich.

The hotel is quite tired looking on the inside. Our room had several unsightly stains on the carpet. The breakfast was very disappointing and bland - cold eggs and chewy bacon.

The room was okay, the bed was fine, there was no bottles of water, or biscuits, the breakfast was adequate but not exceptional

The shower would not reach a comfortable warm temperature, so ended up having a cold shower.

Very convenient for our purpose

Lift still not working after several years!! Booked a twin room which was three floors up. No porters to help I explained I had requested a ground floor room so the lady on reception put us in a disabled access room which was on the ground floor, but the sink was so low we could barely use it. The whole hotel is in serious need of updating Grubby carpets, grouting awful, wooden towel holders which are seriously worn, beds not great.

The setting, the staff.

No air conditioning. There was a fan but it was very hot. The shower took a long time to warm up and wasn’t that hot. The food was ok. Although the staff were friendly there wasn’t enough, so service was slow.

Everything was fine. Unfortunately, due to the heatwave , it was very hot all night despite the portable fan running all night and aircon set to 16 degrees all night. This made the quality of sleep we got poor but it was not the fault of the hotel that we had a heatwave. One suggestion, could have done with another socket or two.

Could have done with sockets on other side of bed.

Location was fine. Breakfast & dinner were delicious. Room was clean & bed very comfortable. Extra bed provided was uncomfortable. Hotel was 'tired' looking & for guests with mobility problems it was difficult to get in & out of bath to use the shower. Also difficult to climb the couple of steps in the hall without a handrail.

Parking. Free, inclusive. Lots of space. Size. Not a massive chain. Room. Had an Ironing board. Something actually useful for travellers. Lots of budget hotels skip this. Room. Sensible Size.

Air Con wasn't working... OK, but it was making a clicking sound attempting to turn on. This repeated every 8 seconds. Lift was out of order with a sign. Wasn't sure if this was a permant signage.

Buscábamos un hotel cercano a Heathrow para volar al día siguiente y resultó perfecto. El hotel está aislado pero en un entorno muy bonito. Las instalaciones están bien y el desayuno y la cena nos gustó.

Es muy enrevesado. Nos dieron dos habitaciones alejadas una de otra y era complicado moverse por tanto pasillo, escalera, etc. Y no tiene aire acondicionado. Con las olas de calor cada vez más frecuentes deberían plantearse instalar aire acondicionado en las habitaciones

The decor particularly in the annexe my room was situated was a bit bashed up and could do with a thorough refresh similarly my bedroom

There was loud music blasting until 2am. The floor of our room was shaking until 2:30 with rowdy guests until 3am. There was an ac unit in the room, but wasn't working and only blasted hot air. When confronted, the staff said there is no ac and the room wasn't advertised as such. Instead of being accountable and communicating this, the staff hide behind technicality. Rooms shouldn't be available if you're hosting a party with crazy loud music. The staff kept making empty promises of 'it'll only be 30 more minutes' disgusting behavior. Apparently there was a manager but was unavailable for the 30 minutes I was at the front desk.

Incredibly loud music until 2am, unhelpful and incompetent staff who are willfully negligent and go out of their way to lie to your face just to get you to leave. No responsibility taken and no proactive action taken as long as they can take your money. Disgusting establishment, abhorrent staff and clearly misguided management who are willing to trample over guests to make money.

The plug in fan was noisy so didnt use it, I always carry a small fan in my boot so came in handy. Air con didnt seem to cool the room down that much.

The hotel itself has plenty of potential, the grounds are nice and well cared for.

I was moved into a club room from a standard double, I later found out that this was due to a prom and 200+ kids. Thier website says that these rooms have been recently been renovated, I would say thier website is quite old. Carpets are dirty and stained, walls are battered and scuffed, air con didn't work, chairs in the rooms were filthy and there was no hot water for a shower in the morning.

Staff were nice, the bed was perfect.

Air conditioning was not working at all we had to open the windows but we were on ground floor so it was a bit scary to keep them open. Carpet needs to be replaced, stained very dirty. Toilet you have to flush with both sides which I found ridiculous.

Big gardens and carpark

Unhelpful staff, cheap prefab food not worth the price, tacky decoration, steaming hot room with no aircon, bathroom plumbing issues, way overpriced room for what you get. There was a prom party at same time in the place, can't describe how unclassy the whole thing felt...

The breakfast

The complacency of the staff over the car park being full and taking over 30 minutes to get in due to an event. The noise until late and the fireworks right next to the room after requesting being as far away as possible. The room was also on the top floor with broken air conditioning

Location to the airport and the Restaurant. The food was delicious and fairly priced. The waitress was very attentive and nice.

Broken lift, we got a gentleman to help bring up our suitcase to the top floor. As it was a hot day and only a small fan supplies it was hardly bearable to stay in the room up in the attic with a slopped ceiling. In desperation we tucked the ironing board underneath the open door to the hallway to get a bit fresh air. At checkout I told the receptionist but I think she was not very interested in my comment.

Pleasant enough for a budget hotel & good location

The hottest day of the year (36 degrees) and no a/c, fan did nothing, fridge, extractor fan in bathroom, hairdryer, lift all didn’t work. Extremely uncomfortable sleep in the heat, room was like a sauna. Right next to a busy road so couldn’t sleep with windows open. Also a prom happening when we stayed, so very loud.

In lovely grounds, convenient to Heathrow Terminal 5. Excellent meal in the restaurant.

We had a small room with a small window. The a/c was very noisy but did not work. We had a small fan in the room. Bearing in mind it was the hottest day ever recorded we baked, the room must have been 40degs.

Probably the only thing I liked about the property was the large car park

Very stuffy room, booked well in advance yet still got top floor, no lift, sloping ceiling, couldn’t swing a cat ! No climate control, panel broken! Fridge in room didn’t work and couldn’t be replaced due to room being occupied! Complained to receptionist to be told sorry it’s a very old hotel ! Plus take your chances with the shower it blows hot or cold!

Not much actually

The facilities are very outdated especially the fridge didn’t work, given it was such a hot week, no air-con, the rooms upstairs have small windows, breakfast poor. The shower head keep falling off, the seat toiled was very loose kept moving away when you sat on it. the main road is quite loud.

The receptionist was sympathetic.

The room was well above safe habitable temperature - I estimate 40 degrees - the towel rail had been left on during the heat wave, and the bath plug did not fit the plug hole. I started to suffer from heat exhaustion and was not able to prepare for work the next day due to feeling ill.

I have stayed here multiple times and the place is good. I chose to stay here this time because they have AC and it can be uncomfortable in the UK summer without this. The hot water was a problem in the winter (it can't handle the capacity), but it should be fine in the summer as the boiler doesn't have to work as hard. I might switch to alternative hotels in the winter as the AC is not important then. The hotel is a bit dated, but it's manageable, and I like that they have baths. Normally the newer hotels rip these out and put in showers. I do bring ear plugs as the heater/AC unit is noisy - and sometimes the other guests affect my sleep (I am a light sleeper). However the hotel is in a peaceful location and handy for my purposes.

This hotel is in desperate need of a refurb. Carpets in the rooms were the worst I have seen. Very badly stained and when I entered the room it smelled very unpleasant. The mattress was completely unacceptable. A mattress with foam on the top with no protector and just a sheet. Receptionist was very apologetic and gave me another room. Unfortunately not much better. Stairs and corridors were in desperate need of new carpet too. Repairs have been done with black tape on the stairs. .

Decor was old and damaged, bed was really uncomfortable, shower was weak, tv did not work, windows in the whole hotel were dirty, repairs in bathroom were of a very bad quality, breakfast was poor (very few options and no one to tell us where we could sit or what the food options were, there wasnt even any toast!)

It was a very quiet and tucked away hotel, perfect location for peace and quiet and no disturbance. The room had so much space for a double room. All facilities were in good working order and didn't have any issues with our stay!

Staff were really helpful and friendly, breakfast was really tasty, it was a buffet style. Didn't have dinner as I was going to a school reunion. Bed was so comfy. We had bathrobes aswell which we didn't expect so nice touch. Would stay again.

More lighting in the room would have been good such as a big light above then bed. My husband is visually impaired so he struggled a bit but we managed.

My room was clean and equipped with amenities such as my own in-room bathroom with an easy-to-use toilet and shower. The location was in a beautiful area of Slough. The breakfast was handmade by an on-site chef and served by a professional waiter.

The rooms were dirty and poorly maintained. Damaged walls, dirty carpet, seats. A/C wasn’t working. The breakfast was under cooked.

The en-suite bathroom was clean. Breakfast food was ok, and the morning staff were more friendly. The grounds were nice if a little run down - the lawns were mowed.

The welcome at Reception was poor, and they were unable to explain their charging structure for breakfasts. The room felt dated and the aircon unit was ancient, noisy and completely ineffective. There was ingrained dirt in the chair cover, and we eventually located the kettle in the wardrobe. This is a venue for events, and there was a loud birthday party going on until midnight, which Reception did not explain about. We had requested a quiet room, and it wasn't. Crockery at breakfast was none too clean (a hair in one bowl and very greasy feeling plates). A shame as the place has potential - but we won't be returning.

For a superior room costing £152 per night, the room was very small and in need of a makeover. The shower spray could not be directed except by holding the head by hand. The wall tiling was also in poor condition. The decor of my room and throughout the hotel was very dated and in many instances needed minor repairs. Breakfast was also disappointing in terms of choice.

Beautiful location and gorgious grounds. Some areas of the hotel needed attention such as windows dirty dusty. Staff were lovely they had a music event on and was very hot and sticky but they really pulled out all the stops with food and drinks service.

Expected as hotel guests to have had a la carte menu to chose from as alternative to burgers and pizza offering as part of the event taking place. Were looking fotward to trying their a la carte menu.
