Well located and rooms were well appointed and clean.

Front rooms are subject to significant street noise and I had to move to a back room. Staff insist on playing very loud music until late at night in the dining area which is audible throughout the entire property and makes it very difficult to sleep before midnight.

The staff is awesome, always smiling, positive, happy and in a good mood. They helped me with anything I needed. They found me the perfect french guide, gave me the best direction to go wherever I needed to go and they even helped me wrapping a box that I needed to send back to Canada. Great team !!! Steven

La struttura è gradevole e la camera che abbiamo avuto era molto accogliente con abbondanti spazi (divani, doccia, vasca, WC separato). La valutazione è bassa a causa del fatto che dopo aver prenotato 5 notti molti mesi prima abbiamo dovuto trascorrere le prime 2 in una struttura attigua con livello qualitativo davvero basso. Il cambio di programma ci è stato comunicato 24h prima del nostro arrivo.

The staff was very polite and kind. The location is perfect with peaceful environment, even though close to the pub street.

The facility is not the same as portrayed in the pictures. The room was too old, no proper lightening, and not that comfortable.

Mycket vänlig och trevlig personal. Omtänksamma och glada. Gäller främst King Rock men mottagande personal på Solitaire var väldigt vänliga och omtänksamma.

Fick tyvärr bo på systerhotellet mitt emot, King Rock. Fint hotell, stort rum med balkong. Personalen gjorde allt för att det skulle bli bra. Förstod dock inte varför jag tvingades byta. Bokade i mars och nära min resa i okt fick jag meddelande om att det var fullt. Jag hade ju redan bokat? Ändå ett fint rum på King Rock.

The property was exceptionally clean and spacious, situated in a peaceful and quiet area. The staff were highly professional, courteous, and attentive, making the overall experience both comfortable and enjoyable. Additionally, My mother had accidentally lost one of her gold earrings during our stay, and even after a week had passed, I reached out to them—and to our surprise, they had found it and kept it safely for us. Their honesty and attentiveness were truly appreciated.

It is a nice Hotel, the Breakfast was very good. the owner and employees seem concerned with the experience their guest have.

My chief complaint was it had no elevator, I'm a disabled person and navigating/negotiating 8 flights of stairs just wasn't safe. The front desk person assured me they'd have something available at checkout the following morning. The next morning the best they could do was 4 flights of stairs, Also during the first night at about 12:30 there was fighting going on in the next room until after 1:00. The screaming, yelling and the sound of someone being thrown to the ground was very disturbing. I don't know if this is normal, or something that just happened to happen during my stay. The swimming pool is very narrow and right in front of the Reception Desk. I would also recommend getting a room not facing the front of the building as road noise can be problematic.

The room was large. It felt secluded, but within the center of activity. Lots of great restaurants nearby. Just a short walk to food carts, markets, coffee shops, and Pub Street. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Every one of them was a top-notch professional while still being approachable and kind. The best group of hotel staff I have ever experienced. The room was cleaned daily with bottles of water and fresh towels provided. I looked forward to breakfast each morning in the outdoor covered restaurant. Hot shower and cold AC in the room.

Great location a little away from the busiest area but within easy walking distance. Close to temples and restaurants. Rooms good size and nice garden area for breakfast. Friendly staff! Numerous options for breakfast. Very good price.

The pool area is inside the lobby area so not really used and obviously can’t use for sunbathing. Breakfast choice could include a healthy cereals / yoghurt option. Balcony didn’t have any furniture so no option to sit out there.

The best hotel we’ve ever stayed at! The staff is amazing—super friendly, always ready to help and give advice, but only if you ask for help yourself. The rooms are super clean, and the design is stunning, with lots of cool details. The breakfast was wonderful. Every morning we ordered a different dish, and it was always very delicious and made from high-quality, fresh ingredients. Breakfast was served in an incredibly beautiful garden. The pool was also very beautiful, cold, and refreshing. Thank you D, and the entire staff for taking care of us. We will definitely come back! My husband and I fell in love with this place.

The hotel was very nice, the staff were amazing and more than happy to help with any requests and even made our bed up with some amazing towel art for our honeymoon celebrations. The rooms were really clean and spacious as well.

Excellent staff and service. My only hiccups were with the room maintenance. Several devices in my room were broken or functional with loud noises. The aerator in the sink was taken off. The plug in the sink had to be removed because it plugged up the sink. The bidet leaked. The shower head leaked in the center, so the water was too strong and splashed everywhere. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was extremely loud probably from a bad bearing and the same could be said for the ac. These were all minor problems that did not inhibit the stay, and I still had a pleasant time.

Location of the hotel is perfect. It is in a quiet area, just 5 min walking distance from the Night market and 10 from the very loud Pub street. Room was huge, modern and very clean with everything needed for a great stay.

The pool area is at the ground floor right next to the reception so it doesn’t have much sun and it is close to the street which it is not very inviting.

The hotel is 5-6min walk from the Pub street. Very central yet quiet. Great restaurants around and a nice spa downstairs. The staff is very friendly. I rented a bike from them without any deposit or passport giving.

The internet was a bit slow in our room but worked fine downstairs in the lounge area.

The concierge messaged me before my trip to organize airport transfer and day trips. It made the trip all the easier. The location was good and central. What I appreciated was the bed which was not too soft. The TV was not working when I was there but it didn't matter because I hardly have time for it with all the activities in the day. Recommended for its value.

Such an amazing hotel! Great location, close to the center but in a calm street. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The room was the best part, really spacious, the decor was very charming and the bathroom was huge and clean. Would definitely recommend!

The accommodation was clean, cozy and simple. The staff was friendly and helpful. Pubs, bars and restaurants are within walking distance but the hotel is still far enough away that it is not noisy.

The WiFi was not working or only partially working in the room, but it was working close to the reception. The room design is modern but be aware that shower or bathtub are in the same room like the bed and loosely separated with a curtain or glass wall.

Amazing and helpful staff

Good breakfast. Relatively quiet. Nearby restaurants close early, and the noise of the Pub street is not heard here. Nice decoration on the bed on the day of arrival. And it seems that all the advantages ended there.

When checking in, we were told that due to a Booking error, we could only be given a room of a lower category, but breakfast was included as compensation. Cleaning seemed to be done every day, but there was always sand on the floor. There were no hot water several times over the 3 days. And sometimes it appeared after calling the reception with questions about water. Slippers were listed as provided, but in fact there were none, at the reception they said they had run out and were given out on the second day upon persistent request. This is not a petty nitpick. I deliberately did not take travel slippers with me, because I saw this option and counted on it. The windows are thin and you will still hear the noise from the street and the prayers from the nearby temple at dawn.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful, the breakfast was good, the beds very comfortable, the shower was amazing, best we’ve had in Asia so far. Location was fab. Gave hand towels as well as bath towels which is a first we have seen!

Myself and my partner were met at reception with cold towels and juice - this was refreshing and pleasant. Towels smelt odd but was needed. Location was satisfactory. Walking distance to almost anything you need with great night life. Room was clean and comfy. Value for money is fine for an overnight stay.

We were unhappy with the shower not heating up to a warm temperature. This was reported to reception on leaving. Photos are misleading in some aspects. Example being the pool area. Myself and my partner were interested in dipping in the pool prior to arrival. However when actually seeing the pool area and how dirty it was, with the location not being as portrayed. We opted out of this idea.

Beautiful property that is close to a lovely market where you can grab great food as well as a 10 min walk from pub street. The staff were overall great and always had a smile on their faces. In terms of the room, the bed was very comfy and the room was layer out well.

There were a couple of things that we didn’t love about the hotel: - The shower on the 2nd floor hardly worked, the water pressure was poor and we ended up having cold showers every day. We mentioned this to the staff but nothing was done about it. - The breakfast tasted good as well as ok options, but the portion sizes were very small and were not enough to satisfy for a morning of exploring Siem Reap - The smart tv isn’t really a smart tv as Netflix and Amazon prime don’t work as well as there being no TV channels on there, so for rainy nights in we could only watch YouTube (not a major issue but don’t expect this if booking this hotel)

This nice hotel about 6 minute walk from the pub street in Angkor is serviced by helpful staff. For the first night we stayed at the much quieter back of the property and compared to the second night ( on a separate reservation) which was a lot noisier as it was street facing ( although the street was relatively quiet). The rooms were large and spacious with very comfortable beds. The cooked Breakfast was pretty decent. There were minor issues with interactions with some of the after hours staff who did not converse in English. The staff were super helpful and arranged a Tuktuk ride and a lotus Farm tour. Will definitely visit and stay here on our next trip to Angkor

The hotel is really nice and the accommodation is really great. The room meets my inquiry and the team is really great. They help me to reserve a free tuk-tuk from the bus station and with a big welcome on my arrival. The rooms are ready before my check-in time and I can lay on the bed for free. Breakfast are nice and many selections of choice. Kimlat is a very attractive receptionist who helped me to book a friendly guide Mr sen to explore the temples. Its fantastic for my three days trip in Siem Reap. I can't thank to solitaire team enough for surprising me on my birthday cake. Its feels like they take an extra mile to make my trip beyond. I would definitely come back to this place.

Fantastic hotel and staff. Our flights were cancelled by airline and we had to stay another night. They allowed us to have a late check out. Would highly recommend anyone who would like to stay in boutique accommodation close to everything. A beautiful oasis .

SDVH is a beautiful little boutique accommodation wonderfully located - only a 3 min walk into town and a quiet neighbourhood too. With a laundry, great restaurant, beauty services and safe ATM across the road, it is fantastic. We stayed in a suite and the room it’s very spacious, the bed extremely comfortable, with a balcony. It’s the staff at the complex who have made our stay so memorable. They are absolutely amazing. Nothing is too much trouble. From organising a very reliable tuk tuk driver to the temples to being greeted at the airport they have been so reliable. It has also been lovely having a dip in the pool after temple visits. Highly recommend as a great place to stay in Siem Reap.

I just wanted to tell you about the amazing experience i had at Solitiare Damnak Villa. The staff were absolutely fantastic. The location of the property is super close to downtown and there are so many shops and restaurants nearby. My room had a lovely city view and was really convenient. When i arrived, the hotel even offered me a welcome drink and a cold towel. The Staff also helped me organize transportation and a tour guide to the temples, which was really helpful. I can't wait to come back and stay at this place again.

The hotel located very closed to the center by 2mn walk. there are alot of restaurant around the hotel and gym club. They had upgrade me to bathtup and bigger than i booked. The are very friendly and helpful. They reserved me the tour guide and car to visit to the temples and offering me the late checkout so i can shower before leaving to the bus. I am highly recommend this place.

Solitaire Damnak Villa is the best place for my vocation in siem reap. I found this property on booking com and i decided to book for one days then extend for 4 days. The property match the photo online and the room is beautiful with modern facilities. The location is the best 2mn walk to the pub street. The staff always helpful and help carry our bag to the room by the small elevator for the bag. Breakfast was nice and many selection. I highly receommend this hotel if you are looking for the budget and close to the center.

Stayed in the top floor, outside temperature was 41C, the room was cool since the staff advised to leave the AC on. There is a small elevator for the luggage only, the pool has good water temperature, not hot not cold. 24/7 Staff is always glad to help. Laptop compatible safety box, quiet AC, comfortable bed. The room matched the pictures. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Location was very close to Pub Street and the Night Market. The AC pointed toward the direction of the bed, which was nice, however other parts of the room like the sink, bathroom shower and bathroom toilet did not have AC coverage that strong. I do wish that the windows were covered to block the sunlight from heating the room. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I mainly interacted with the guy who worked the night shift and he was very kind. I’d stay here again if I ever visit Siem Reap in the future.

I went to this hotel for check-in. But this hotel had electricity problems, so they took me another hotel that is far from downtown. Beside, my room had a lot of problems…. All towels were very dirty. Can’t lock the door. Can’t watch TV. Can’t use hair dryer…. No toilet paper…. I took pictures for them.

Small but very nice. Great service from manager. A few minutes walk from night market. Several restaurants within 250 meters catering to tourists and locals. We would stay again.
