Kendra was amazing. 5 star experience.
Kendra was our server, she was great! Lovely atmosphere and vibes.
I liked this hotel a lot. It’s in a great location, close to many of Denver’s main attractions. Ubers were plentiful and it’s very close to public transportation. There were many incredible restaurants and coffee houses close by. The staff were beyond gracious, friendly and accommodating. A special shout out to Marisol, who kept my room clean and stocked with water. I would definitely stay here again.
Reviewing this hotel because many of the existing reviews are misleading. This is the biggest hotel disappointment we have encountered in months of travel. It is a marginally maintained hotel staffed by people unfamiliar with hospitality and associated with an unimpressive restaurant/bar. Room: 2/5 - The room is large but it’s basically furnished with wires/dents/stains on full display. The bathroom has 2 sinks but water only trickles from one then runs all over the counter. The towel bar and toilet paper holder are falling out of the wall. The robe was warm and fluffy, but only one provided for 2 people. The bed is just bad, with divots in the mattress from people who have stayed before…like one might expect in a 2-star highway inn. Staff: 1/5 - The friendliest person was the gentleman cleaning the floors. All front desk staff on the phone while we and others waited to check in. We also waited for some time at the bar, which was staffed by only one person when at least 2 were needed. Our room was changed after check-in and the reason given was “dunno, maybe a maintenance issue.” And restaurant staff literally sighed when I asked to use my breakfast vouchers. Then we were charged twice for drinks. The general vibe is that staff is doing us a favor by allowing us to stay here. Restaurant: 1/5 - “Fire” is a miss. Had dinner, drinks and breakfast…all meh. Breakfast parfait included blueberry stems and the rest was unremarkable. Dinner salad was worse - including canned tangerine segments and a lump of hard raisins. Housekeeping: 3/5 - Room was clean enough, but neighbors’ food and trash remained outside their doors for a full day. On the bright side, the gym is nice.
Man....swing a not just a miss...but downright a flop. Stayed at the Art Hotel in early 2026. I don't know know how to put it other than I have to assume this was an all around poor showing for the hotel. I've talked to friends who have stayed there and enjoyed it and so I want my experience to be a one-off miss but man...it was bad. The rooms themselves were fine. Although with 100% honesty...if I had been in a three month old Holiday Inn Express I would not have been able to differentiate between the two. White furniture (yes....I get that the "art" aesthetic is minimalist but you do not have original art in the room that you can "appreciate" so it's like sitting in a gallery....that hasn't opened yet. Linens were clean and crisp. But again...the rooms are really sparse and while this is being presented as intentional it's really just a Holiday Inn with some installations in the hallway. The real reason for the low rating....the restaurant was a disaster. No walk-ins for dinner which I'll accept was bad on me for not making a reservation, so be it. Room service was...inedible. Hair in three out of four entrees. Straight Sysco food. Sorry but man...it was bad. Breakfast was actually worse. Pancakes that were straight up raw batter (after a 50 minute wait). A breakfast sandwich that made me queasy to look at (dripping with oil/grease) just a mess. I know that I was not the only one who was put off with breakfast five other tables sent things back or had things taken off of tabs for being inedible/not delivered. Just a really bad experience. The hotel might be fine...and I'd like to think that my experience was a one-off but man....that was a genuinely bad experience, absolutely not up to the standard.
Great valet service and assistance at the arrival. Thanks to yousif kollaf Thank you as he made the trip so much more pleasant
The property is beautiful and the staff are incredible!
From the moment I arrived at the Art Hotel in Denver, I was greeted with warm hospitality on the 1st floor along with a glass of champagne & Hors d'oeuvres from the General Manager & his leadership team! This experience brought class with an upscale & impressive elegance as I was taken by the artwork throughout the hotel! The lit fireplace caught my eye immediately as I exited the elevator as the space was open & truly had an ambiance to it. I was drawn to the patio to enjoy the afternoon of fresh Denver cool air with cocktails & additional rounds of Hors d'oeuvres! We truly enjoyed attending the vendor showcase as the hallways were lined with multiple food offerings & many of industry leaders showcasing their products & brands! The hotel provided an artistic charm, event space & elevated food/Beverage options, along with the staff providing a perfect blend of hospitality that were both outstanding and welcoming! This is a must visit destination when you are in the city of Denver!
Checked in 3/6, room 911 and it was extremely warm in there. It was snowing so we through they just had the heater on for all the rooms. Turned the AC on and had been out for the majority of the day. Came back to the room around 10pm and it was extremely hot, blowing hot air. I believe the room was around 78°. That night I woke up about 4 times drenched in sweat. 3/7 I called the front desk and told them about the AC blowing hot air and they said they’d send someone up. Went out for the day and returned around 2pm and the room was extremely hot. I went downstairs to inform the front desk the room was still hot and the maintenance man overhead and informed me & the front desk person that the whole 9th floor AC was broken including the restaurant. The front desk person had no idea of the AC issue and the maintenance man advised 30-40 for repairs. I returned back to my room and maybe 3 hours later the maintenance man came to my room and informed us that there would be no repairs made because it was night time and stated we should switch rooms. He said he would take of that for us and gave us a chocolate for the inconvenience. We had to pack everything (3 night stay) and switch 8pm. We got placed into a suite and while it was nice it was hot, the tub water wouldn’t get warm, the shower handle was broke and the hand held shower wouldn’t turn on. 3/8 we spent most of the day in the hotel room as I was feeling sick, possibly from the hot room and the fact I’ve never been in such altitude. We spent the whole day with the door opened and around 5pm I called the front desk to inform them about the hot room. They said they would send someone up. I left to dinner around 6:30, returned by 8pm and the room was at 76°. I reached out via the chat and front desk said that the whole buildings AC was broken and they’re making repairs. They apologized for lack of communication and said repairs are underway. I asked for updates due to me, the customer having to reach out continuously. Front desk offered a fan which we happily took because it was SO hot. Slept with the balcony door open for airflow & once again a sleepless night. Between the heat, and cars racing outside we slept maybe 4 hours. 3/9 I asked for a late check out due to the lack of sleep and they did allow a 2pm check out. The room was still extremely hot and now we have a suite where we had to move the fan from the bedroom, to the bathroom. We had to keep the AC off as it was only blowing hot air. At check out when asked about our stay I did say it was horrible and I was offered credit. The staff were extremely friendly but the lack of communication was unreasonable. I’m sure I wasn’t the only person complaining about the hot room so why not take initiative? They had fans to offer, rooms with balconies so why not accommodate before having to reach out multiple times? I believe they handled the situation at hand poorly and it was a really big damper on my stay. I would not be coming back to this hotel nor recommending it.
A beautiful and clean hotel. The view of the art museum and mountains from my window was very nice. Terrific large shower and shower head. Very comfortable bed. Expensive valet parking but the fastest car retrieval I've experienced from any hotel anywhere. The dining room is beautiful but I wish they upped the quality of food a notch for dinner. For breakfast, there were only about 6 tables for a couple servers to take care of. Unfortunately, my server saw me being seated and rather than offering water and coffee, slowly, but meticulously, cleared and cleaned another table. After that, rather than come over, he slowly and meticulously cleaned a second table. Unfortunately for me again, a woman arrived and he attended her, than finally got to me. Wish he were more customer focused and trained for his job. The breakfast itself was good.
Literally the best parking experience ever!
Good location! Hotel restaurant was absolutely delicious! Staff was very friendly!
Joey the parking attendant was incredibly professional, helpful and made the experience great. The hotel is a great location and having a welcoming person when you first arrive is very smart!
Ernesto (Ernie) at the Front Desk was Amazing.
Everything was great.
I was coming to take a pic of my car and Yousif was very nice and welcoming told us we had a couple of minuets but gave us more time then we needed. Very nice valet attend haven’t seen one in a while! Super cool lights seems like a nice overall hotel definitely planning to stay here next time I’m looking for a night to stay!
This hotel in the museum district does not have the personality of other curio collection hotels even in Denver. The location is great in terms of restaurants but it’s really just Hampton inn with modern pop art scattered about. Service was fine but nothing special. The hotel restaurant is solid but also lacking in personality.
The art collection is exceptional! The staff is friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff does an excellent job—the beds were comfy and smelled great! The hotel does need some maintenance like painting the outdoor signs; a THOROUGH cleaning; and small repairs of chipped furniture (especially the glass tabletop in the bar area and the broken fire pit on the deck). The restaurant was not memorable at all. I tried breakfast one morning and had apps in the afternoon. Overpriced food for the quality. I would skip the restaurant all together next time and stick to some of the local restaurants (great cookie place across the street and Union Station has some good fare). The outdoor deck was super cool for a nightcap.
We did not stay at the hotel; this is a review of their Thanksgiving buffet meal only, and it was extremely disappointing and overpriced. The food selection was extremely limited, with half being salads, cheeses, and other appetizer-related selections. Seafood was only shrimp and salmon. Meats were over-salted turkey, sliced ham in a chafing dish, bacon, and chicken sausage. It was as though somebody decided at the last minute that there weren't sufficient protein options so found two breakfast items to add. Side dishes were only a whipped sweet potato dish, squash, green bean casserole, and stuffing. There was only a tiny area for desserts, and the pies tasted as though they were from a supermarket. There was an omelet station, but it was hidden in the back beside the dessert so you'd never know there was one until you went for dessert. Quality overall was definitely lacking, and the worst part of all was that we drank only the included soft drinks, no alcohol or anything extra, and our bill was $190!
I don’t understand all of the rave reviews. I’m staying here now and there isn’t anything extraordinary. The beds are decent, the location right by the museum is good, the art is a nice touch, and it’s clean. However, there are also some things we really don’t like. The lobby area is small and not great for lounging around. The sinks in our bathroom: one wouldn’t plug to fill with water, and the other wouldn’t unplug to drain the water. My husband got on the floor under the sink and fixed them both. The coffee maker in our room makes a horrendous noise, and there is a strange noise seemingly caused by the air flow in the hallway. When we open the door, the sound stops, but when we close the door it starts again and is constant. But the most disappointing was the restaurant, which we’d heard great things about. All of the food was mediocre. The burrata was bland and paired with a meager little pile of crostini. The butternut squash pasta had an odd taste and was merely a small scoop of noodles with sauce, and nothing else, for $28. Everything was plated as if my 12-year-old nephew was in the kitchen, just tossing things slap dash onto plates. The whole experience just didn’t live up to the hype and cost double what it should have.
The room we had was fine, but the shower didn’t work. The manager didn’t apologize but treated us arrogantly even though we were polite to him. His solution was to take $20 off the bill, as if a functional shower was worth $20 to us. We won’t go there again. The restaurant is also poor, and it’s freezing at breakfast time. This hotel simply doesn’t seem to take pride in having things work right for its customers.
ADA room: The handle of the toilet broke off. Despite two requests to have it fixed, nothing was done. Had to plunge my hand into the water tank to flush. Light in hallway out. Poor lighting over desk, but housekeeping moved a floor lamp for me. Shower head and hand held shower did not work properly.
Repairs should have been made to the toilet. For an ADA room, poor lighting is unacceptable. Many disabled people are older and eyesight is not as good. Shower heads should function independently, not at the same time. A proper lamp should be at the desk. Staff were unresponsive to requests for assistance. Entrance has only parking valet, no assistance. Lobby had only one person on desk; no one to assist.
I recently stayed at The ART Hotel Denver, Curio Collection by Hilton through Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts and initially experienced a few issues at check-in and with missed benefits. However, Manager Ernesto Tovar personally stepped in and completely turned the situation around. His professionalism, communication, and willingness to take ownership were outstanding. He resolved everything promptly, offered a fair resolution, and went above and beyond to ensure I left satisfied. I also want to recognize Jillian, the bartender, who delivered genuinely warm and attentive service. She was personable, professional, and made my time at the bar feel welcoming and memorable — an excellent reflection of Hilton hospitality. Both Ernesto and Jillian demonstrated the kind of care and integrity that make a huge difference in the guest experience. Because of them, I’ll absolutely return to this property and recommend it to others.
Museum proximity
Beautiful hotel with a superb art collection. Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfasts at the hotel restaurant were very good. The location is excellent with proximity to Denver's art museums.
The room rate is too expensive. We found out during the stay that others were able to get a much lower rate; desk staff was unable to explain this.
Perfect locatoin for the event we were attending, 1/2 a block away. Very comfortable. It is a bit diifficult to get service or know how to get service. The TV has the restaurant and room service menu, but it has no on-line means to order, nor is it very front and center with any number to call to get service, I had to eventually call the front desk, and get them to forward me to the restaurant for room service. And then I wanted breakfast at 6:30 am, (so I could leave for church at7:30 am) but they only started serving at 7:00am.
The difficulty in finding how/where to order room service, and the lack of breakfast before 7 am.
We have stayed at this hotel more than once. It is conveniently located. It's clean the environmental controls in the room work great making the room comfortable at any time of year. The bathroom layout is superb. Two people can have all there stuff in the bathroom without any territorial disputes.
Inner city area.
Great art . Central to downt and museumown
😍
This hotel was great, Friendly staff close to the music venue we went to. It was our anniversary and everything just felt very relaxed. Lots of fun art to look at and great views!
Great experience. Stellar location and service. Fire restaurant was great as well. First time brining our family and it worked out great. Estella was specifically incredible with her service and attention for our children at the fire restaurant! Made everyone feel very welcomed, comfortable, and cared for.
The property was very clean and the staff was excellent. It was convenient and very walkable to Denver attractions.
Great hotel, but they didn’t get the reservation I made through you. Difficult dealing with that, but I finally got a room.
The free Lyft service!
Every interaction we had with the restaurant was terrible.
Comfortable bed and pillows. Black out curtains worked well too. Beautiful artwork throughout the hotel.
I recently stayed at The Art Hotel during a trip to Denver for a concert at Red Rocks, and it was a fantastic experience. It had been nine years since my last visit, and I was genuinely impressed by how well the hotel has aged—especially as it celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. It’s clear that the property has been thoughtfully maintained. As the name suggests, art is central to the hotel’s identity—and it truly enhances the entire guest experience. The curated pieces throughout the lobby and guest areas create a vibrant and inspiring atmosphere. The staff were outstanding—attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. I stayed in a suite that was both spacious and beautifully designed, with stunning views of the city skyline. Although I didn’t have the chance to dine at the on-site restaurant, I did enjoy in-room dining for breakfast, and it was absolutely delicious. I’m already looking forward to my next visit—The Art Hotel remains a standout destination in Denver and will absolutely be my go-to for future trips.
location, comfort
too expensive
Perfect location for our visit. Easy to walk to restaurants, great area near the museum to walk the dog. Staff super friendly!
Don’t expect any service after 10 PM - you’ll be hungry and thirsty. Turned away at the Fire at 10:01 on a Thursday night. No option for room service. If you’re out in Denver for the evening you want to stay at a different hotel, one that recognizes adults actually stay up past 10 PM.
Great hotel and friendly staff. Our suite had some missing handles on the shower faucet, the sliding bathroom door didn't close all the way, and a missing light bulb in the living room, but those got addressed and didn't lower the experience of our visit. It's across the street from the Colorado History museum which was fun to visit. The room we had was on the street side of the hotel and there was noise from the street. We could hear the early morning construction and late night weekend party-ers. (the hotel is 2 blocks away from nightclubs) if you are a light sleeper get a room not facing the street. We stayed here as a treat for our wedding anniversary and aside from the street noise we had a good stay.
It was a plesant stay. Staff helpfull and freandly. Good location.
Booked a 2 queen room for a night, and noticed that my reservation through the Hilton app said I was in a king room. Called the front desk and was told I had been upgraded, but I needed 2 beds, not one. I was promised that there was a queen-size pull out couch in the room. When we arrived at the hotel, the room wasn't ready until an hour after check-in time. Upon getting to the room, phone didn't work, and we found that it did not have a couch at all. I had to call for a twin sized roll away bed.
Lovely room, spacious bathroom, excellent bed. Super-convenient for visiting the museums and galleries and public library in the Cultural District; never used the car.
Joey was fantastic and helped us immensely with our car troubles and event logistics. He was friendly and easy to work with. Overall, the staff has been great, and we've had a wonderful experience during our visits. I also want to thank April for her assistance with our car issues. Great job, team! This is why we keep coming back. Thank you!
Great location, wonderful amenities. Everything we hoped for. Would definitely go back.
The location was nice and the hotel overall was nice. The TV didn’t work and the fixtures in the shower were falling off.
Not an ordinary hotel. The building is unique, the rooftop bar and restaurant was really cool. Wish we could've spent more time there..
The ladies at the front desk gave me some great suggestions for restaurants in the area.
Really nice hotel! Very clean nice rooms. Great location across form the Colorado Historical Museum. I will give you one big warning... you practically need an engineering degree to figure out how the shower works. But the inexplicable fancy shower aside, the bathroom is very nice, the hotel is beautiful, the restaurant and patio lovely, good fitness area and very nice, comfortable clean rooms. Just watch out for that shower! Yikes! I will still rate the hotel as excellent.
When I checked in the key would not work because the door lock was broke, then I get the new room across and there is no remote, missed the NBA finals, than at night someone was rattling my door. In the morning I noticed marks like deep scratches on lock area. I was alone and felt unsafe. The next morning the water for the shower was ICE COLD, not a great feeling. When it was time for dinner I invited relatives to join me for dinner that lived in the area and their food was dry and not eatable. Just not a great stay. I did receive text messages to set a time to talk to customer service, but no call.
This was a lovely hotel, except that there was not hot water in my shower. The manager was apologetic and said he would issue a full refund for the exorbitantly priced room, but its been over 2 weeks now and no refund. And i have tried to call and email them, but i keep being given the runaround. I understand that mistakes happen, but its how you handle them that defines a good business. And its shameful how they are handling this.
Perfect location, right across from the museums.
The Denver Art Hotel was excellent! Our room was spacious, bright & clean. The staff (especially Vik) were gracious & helpful. The hotel itself was so interesting with its bra artwork displayed all over! Would definitely recommend. We only had one meal in their restaurant, but it was delicious.
The waitstaff for dinner were not very attentive for us be
We have stayed here a couple of times before. It used to have an artsy charm but that has worn off. Service was slow and reductions promised on arrival were not honored on departure. The food at the restaurant was ok but the selection very limited and service friendly but slow. The room was clean and had the essentials but the bathroom is in dire need of renovation. Overall, not worth the price.

Lovely location and hotel
Best art I've ever seen at a hotel in this region. Rooms are spacious, staff first-rate.
Next time
Great place to stay while going to Cask Thief at Stranahan's. It's a nice hotel and the front desk staff person was super nice and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.
Stay away from room 538, right above some mechanic room with a metallic ticking sound all night and morning. Worst hotel experience ever!!! Bed had no support, shower handles were loose and spun, random hole on the wall above tv, they didn’t use a drywall screw for the cable box, so they just remounted and left whole in the wall, no express cups and coffee machine had a slip down lever for the cup that turned machine off, stupid.
First trip to Denver; spent four nights there with my wife. Valet parked the car then you go up to the 4th floor to the reception desk to check in. I had booked a mountain view suite but for some reason, we were advised that that reservation had been lost. However, we were upgraded to a Capitol Suite, which had a balcony. Score! The main reason we had booked the hotel was due to its proximity to both the Clyfford Still Museum and the Denver Art Museum. Both are within a 2 block radius of the hotel and both are worth a visit. The lobby and ground floors of the hotel have some world class modern art on view, and all of the hallways and rooms have some great pieces too, so art lovers will enjoy the hotel. The location is next to the Civic Center, with the State Capitol nearby. LoDo is a short walk from the hotel, so you're near all of the nightlife. The neighborhood is pretty quiet at night, so sleeping isn't a problem. You do hear traffic in the morning, but nothing too untoward. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Denver and would absolutely stay at this hotel again.
Really cool spot , well located.
The Art Hotel is my favorite Hilton property in the country. It is beautifully done, a great location, comfortable, but most importantly has an exceptional staff. Amy and Paulette at the front desk are always welcoming, efficient, and happy to help. Everything on property is well thought out and every stay is excellent.
Great hotel. Pricey parking $54/night
This property is very clean, neatly decorated, and the staff are all very professional and helpful. I’d stay here any time!
Everything about the property was great except we went for a walk down Broadway and it was a little sketch. Had to deal with several homeless people that were screaming obscenities to the world.
Excellent customer service and professional. Free Lyft service 🙌 Fire restaurant food was delicious
Loved everything about this hotel except the pillows. Did not get a good night aleep at due to the pillows
Me and my friends stayed here for a friends birthday and had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was stocked with soda and water included in the coat of the room, and we all slept really well there. We attended a nearby experience that was walking distance, and the Fire restaurant was the perfect addition to the experience.
Really good location and fun atmosphere
Fantastic service, everyone was so nice. I really appreciated the staff especially Ernesto at the front desk who made sure I had everything I needed. I ate breakfast, lunch and dinner in the Fire restaurant. I enjoyed the good, big portions for breakfast! Great hotel in a great location!
Beautiful room great location
The hotel and everyone working there are so wonderful. From going the extra mile each and every step of the way, to the wonderful rooms, and fun art, it was a fantastic stay. We are forever indebted to all the amazing workers both at the Art hotel and at the Fire restaurant.
Amy at the front was AMAZING so helpful. I left my phone in the car with valet service and she helped me SUBSTANTIALLY 10 STARS Shes amazing. She really did go out of her way to help me and I truly thought it was the best customer service ever!!;;!
The Art is my favorite hotel in Denver! I have stayed here at least 5 times. Everytime I stay here the rooms are super clean and comfortable. The staff are polite and helpful. You can use their valet which is convenient and fast but it is about $50 per night. They have a public self-park parking garage next to the hotel with a door on the first floor that goes directly to the hotel. If you park here you will save about $15 per night.
Had an afternoon flight out of DIA so decided to stay at this hotel the night before. What an awesome experience. Staff was great, the quirky art in the place was great, the room was awesome , and a block away for a cool dance joint. We just had a blast. Everything about this place is just classy. Just got back from Cancun so it was nice to have an Ocean View from the restaurant :-) I bet they had that mural commissioned. I will definitely be staying there again !!!
What a hotel. This was a staycation over the Thanksgiving holiday to get-away and also get the time to experience all the things Denver has to offer this time of year. The Art Hotel’s location was prefect for this. Yes, it’s more expensive than every other Hilton in town but with the service, solid valets, car service within 2 miles, associates such as Brigitte and Amy working the front desk—seriously above and beyond service—and very comfortable and unique rooms, the value is worth the cost. So why 4 stars you may ask. Well, that all comes to Fire, the onsite restaurant. We had both a dinner and breakfast at the hotel and one thing was consistent at both. Simply abysmal service. The dinner menu was inventive, the food well prepared, but the service, just wow, there is cold and then there is just wow. Breakfast was par, pricey—but expected—, and again the service was exceptionally poor. It took 50 minutes just to get 4 simple breakfasts. That written, I will say the managers—the ones in suits— were on top of their game, checking with eating patrons, welcoming you back, but these qualities were not being held by their servers. I’m planning another trip to Denver just after the new year to celebrate a birthday with some Nuggets and Avs action and have mixed feeling on where to stay. May try the Garden Inn near Union Station—another Denver hotel I’ve not experienced—but I will say the Art has a draw.
Art lovers dream! Great location, right next to the Denver Museum Art and the hotel itself was full of art in many different mediums. Excellent service from every staff member, especially Ernie at check-in!
The bath tub and the art are what stands out
Overall, a nice place. The light switches were weird. The room was also very hot without any option to cool it down. The fire restaurant on 4th floor is nice, pricey but worth it. The front desk was very nice and very understanding. Valet was also very nice!
Of a place love the art of the restaurants
The bathroom was huge and I particularly liked the vanity and mirror. Amenities were also great. I enjoyed the gym, snacks and plenty of water. The only thing I disliked was the bed. The mattress was too soft and it was difficult to sleep.
Beautiful modern rooms that still maintain a cozy feel. Outside of the well curated decor, the front desk attendants really stole the show. Ernie and Amy showed themselves to be knowledgeable, poised and professional. Amy was especially helpful. I stay in a Hilton hotel weekly for business and her aid was second to none! Thank you Amy! :)
