Well located, small but comfortable room. Exactly what we hoped it would be.
Elevator broke while we were there so had to climb the stairs.
Beautiful old building
Nothing
Amazing staff throughout the hotel and outlets, very clean and well appointed rooms. Fantastic location to do walking tours of Prescott. The new speakeasy was great fun! The lobby bar/lounge is the former ballroom and is lovely.
The rooms are small but we knew that when we booked.
Decor was warm. Staff was friendly. Enjoyed the piano bar.
No ghost bothered us
The hotel and rooms are very nice and right across from the courthouse square. Parking is available on the street or in the parking garage about 1/2 block away. The attached restaurant offers a delicious brunch. The speakeasy in the basement also offers a small food selection.
There is a lot of street noise. The AC unit did not allow a constant fan, so there were times that the outside noise was very apparent. Ear plugs are available in the room.
Great location, clean and nice room
The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever experienced at a hotel. The staff is friendly, the location is perfect to enjoy local foods and bars. Quick access to the forest if you want to go on an adventure!
Great value! Amazing big room!
Everything!
I loved the location, the restaurant, the room, everything.
Nothing.
The room was small, and did not have enough outlets near the bed to plug in charges, or a CPAP machine. There was no breakfast included, nor coffee available in the room for when you woke up. You would first have to get dressed to go to the lobby for coffee.
Although we appreciated the historical part of the elevator, it always seemed to be stuck on another floor. It would not let you call it down to you if the cage door, or main door were not completely shut. For someone who cannot take stairs, this inconvenience was very unsatisfactory.
Great location close to everything and clean. Staff go way out of their way to make sure that you enjoy your stay.

We loved it! Charming, great walkable location, convenient free parking, and exceptional staff service. For example: We didn't know how to operate the old style elevator, so a staff person jumped in and showed us!
Nothing.
Location
Bed mattress, decor
Close to things we wanted to do. Staff was friendly and helpful.
The queen bed in room 204 was against the wall and the room was too tiny to move it away from the wall so 1 quest had to climb into the bed from the bottom or over the other quest. Rooms too small for bed entry from both sides should only be rented to single quests not couples.
Main location common areas were wonderful
The bed was uncomfortable. The air conditioner was by the window and the bed and blew all night long off and on.
The staff, especially at the front-desk, and their front end janitor/bell hop was so kind n professional!! They all go the extra mile to make comfortable!
Although it was the hottest day of the year, the AC in the window just needs to make sure there running correctly, are unit would shut off a lkl to long! We're were cool for the most part!!
Comfortable room despite its ridiculous small size. Nice bathroom. Bartender downstairs made very good drinks.
Everyone we talked to at the front desk was completely frazzled about their "new computer system". Obviously not enough training was given. The lady at the desk around 10pm was rude. We spent some time at the bar downstairs late pm. The setting looked great but the music was too loud to allow ANY conversation. I ordered a plate of hummus. After 30 minutes waiting for it, they presented me with a "glob" of something that was not hummus. They obviously had ran out, and instead of telling me that, they made up their own version and it was not edible. Fan in the bedroom is way too loud.
Great historic hotel in the middle of Prescott
Atmosphere and friendly staff.
Location was great close to all the shops, restaurants in city center.
Thé mattress left much to be desired. Hotels need the have the very best quality mattresses to ensure the best rest!!
Great location and all the staff were very warm, friendly and helpful.
Bed and pillows could be refreshed.
Loved the location, the history of the building, the friendly and helpful staff. Perfect base for a stay in Prescott.
I wish the bistro opened a little earlier for breakfast. 7a is good for a tourist but adds an early riser who has work from 8a it was a little tight.
The only small issue was the AC had trouble keeping up. Great place to stay.
Location
The room was small. Would upgrade next stay
Loved this hotel! I usually go for a Marriott or Hilton, but this came recommended to me from a friend of a friend so I said what the heck and booked it. We have a great time. The place was VERY clean and comfortable. The staff was wonderful, especially the front desk staff. There is not an ice machine here, but they do give out free ice and water in the lobby 24/7. If you like vintage, give this place a shot. Location could not have been better.
Well, it is a cool old hotel. Great location. Hats off to the people keeping this historic landmark alive.
NO ELEVATOR! Wish I would have read the fine print on the elevator. Its been out for a while and don't look like anyone is working on it. They put us on the 3rd floor furthest from the stairs. Mind you these are 14 ft ceilings and that's a long haul. I'm 72 and we had a lot of stuff to carry up. My wife has a bad back. The window AC was loud and kicked on every 40 minutes or so. Im a light sleeper and woke all night. AC was louder than the TV so didn't bother watching it. Not worth $250 per night.
The room was comfortable and hotel is in a great location.
We had requested an early check in for 2:00 and it was confirmed by the hotel. The room was ready until almost 4:30, which was over an hour past normal check in time. Additionally, the room could have been cleaned better.
I enjoying staying at the vintage updated hotel. It helped me imagine what life was like back when the hotel was built and the buildings and businesses which surrounded it.
The room was not well lit. More lamps would have been better.
Everything except....
The elevator was out of service. That is a big problem for us in the older population. Especially when you're booked on the 3rd floor.
Direkt im Stadtkern, dafür recht ruhig, hatten aber ein Zimmer zum Innenhof.Parplatz direkt neben dem Hotel kostenlos.
Wonderful staff that helped with any questions. Very friendly.
Great location and clean. If you like „historic places“ this is perfect.
My room was TINY and air conditioning blew directly onto bed into my face.
Nice atmosphere. Quiet because we were on 3rd floor and at inside courtyard.
Elevator was out of service. Good thing we are in decent shape and could climb stairs.
Close to whiskey row
Walking a quarter mile with all my luggage then up four flights of stairs. So in user friendly
Very cute and clean, right in the heart of the town which made it an easy walk around.
Elevator was down
Room & hotel decor & amenities
AC unit was behind the curtain so at night you had to choose either to leave the curtain open for morning sun or airflow.
Nicely decorated
The hotel is in a great location. Right on the square, and within walking distance of all that downtown has to offer. Very cool Speakeasy in the basement.
Nothing.
We really loved the location and the enormous lounge to sit and relax for a bit before heading out to dinner. The staff was friendly and the hotel was neat and clean for us to enjoy. We also, stopped by the speakeasy in the basement after dinner. Cool spot and the bartenders were awesome!
Front desk staff seemed extremely stressed when we arrived. I felt for her, didn't look like she had a lot of help that day. Checked in early and everything seemed fine until we got to our room. For some reason we had been switched to a smaller room and was not made aware of it when checking in. Unfortunately there were no other upgraded rooms available. Everything turned out fine, the room was clean, quiet and comfortable. I would stay again! Hope to get the suite next time.
Location, decor.
The elevator was out of order, but I was given notice about it prior to and at check-in. I was offered assistance. They were very nice and helpful about it, but it was a little inconvenient.
Historic feel of the hotel. Beautiful lobby bar. Great location.
Rooms are quite small but very well decorated.
Elevator not working
The staff was very friendly and the hotel/room was clean and charmingly decorated. There are the usual complaints associated with historic hotels: mediocre water pressure and overly soft bed. Those weren't unexpected. But there were several surprises that were disappointing. First, the elevator was inoperable, a major issue for seniors like us that was never mentioned in the numerous emails they sent before arriving, nor on their website. We did get help with suitcases, but they had to "find somebody." The elevator had obviously been broken for weeks to months, so you think they would have dedicated staff to help. Plus, just trudging up and down three steep flights was no fun. Next, when we asked why our room wasn't cleaned, they informed us that cleaning was "by request only." No mention at check-in, nor on the website, nor in the room. Finally, the Bistro (their main restaurant) closed for renovations for over a week. Again, no mention in emails nor on website. Again, all the staff were very nice, but I fault management for not disclosing these issues up front. There are several other historic hotels nearby, so we'll stay at one of those the next time we're in Prescott.
It was close to everything
There was a cockroach under the bed
Very cute hotel in historic district of town.
Only problem we had is the elevator was out of order. Fortunately there are only 3 floors.
Bed was Comfortable. That’s about it.
Room was okay, clean but very, very small. Photos online were misleading. Bed was comfortable though, especially for a historic location. Front desk staff was the only decent part of our trip; when we checked in, we found out the elevator was broken. Which happens VERY frequently, and we were on the 3rd floor, in a hot building in summer. They stated that we were notified of such, but I received no texts or emails of the sort. No offers were made for the inconvenience. We also saw a woman checking out this morning who fell down the steps and bit it HARD, so that was cool. The service at their bistro and speakeasy was abysmal- staff either ignored you completely or when they did bother to interact, were incredibly short, rude, and couldn’t bothered with you. I absolutely would not recommend this hotel to anyone I cared about, anyone with mobility issues, or anyone who has expectations in regards to being appropriately served by the service industry. Awful experience. Want to add that you will also be competing for the free hotel coffee and bathrooms with the homeless folk who loiter out front with no impunity. They also don’t bother to provide WiFi in your room or with your paying an obscene amount per night, so if that’s important to you- don’t book here. Our cell batteries ran almost dead because there isn’t much signal There. Overall, there’s a million places to stay and this one was not it, babe.
We’ve stayed here before so we had past positive experiences to reflect back on. Location is terrific and staff are outstanding.
The elevator was not working and staying on the third floor wasn’t the best way to start having to carry luggage up three floors.
This is like staying in a museum. It’s a great experience! Prescott at its best. It’s an historic hotel with a wonderful renovation.
Elevator was out of order. Irrelevant detail during our stay.
The hotel doesn't offer breakfast but the cafe attached to the facility does. It had excellent food!
I would have appreciated de-cafe coffee. Some of us..for medical reasons can't have caffeine. Although the Cafe did offer it when ordered.
LOCATION, free parking
Breakfast not included, very small room. Ac unit was 2feet from the bed .We had to have them do something to keep the bed from rolling away from the wall. Bathroom is VERY small, toilet seat to small for the toilet. Elevator was out of order needed to climb stairs 🙃.
Super cute and lovely hotel right in the center of town. Super helpful staff. Loved the room decorations
A lot of static electricity in our room. A hair dryer would be nice but not critical
Historic clean and great loc.
Nothing
Great location, friendly staff, clean and cozy room
Loved everything
location and friendly staff
no elevator, no long mirror, not enough plugs for electronics, no smart tv that you can connect to and stream your own shows
Convenient
We were told our room was ready and went to go in and hadn't been cleaned so they got someone right away and maybe 10 minutes said it's clean only to find hair in the bed so bed was was made again to still find hair so we checked out and went home and lost our money.
April the front desk attendant was the 👌 👍 best.
A very historic hotel and area. Staff was wonderful at hotel, Bistro and shoutout to Kevin in the Lobby Bar who gave some great recommendations. Also, on day of checkout, elevator was out of service. Ediberto (sp?) came up to the 3rd floor and brought my bags down to my car. Everyone was pleasant & helpful. Thanks for a great stay...I'll be back!
Small room but was fine for me travelling alone. The mattress was somewhat lumpy...perhaps invest in some new ones?
I loved the historic vibe and the friendly staff. The hotel is in a great location, and has a wonderful look and feel to it. The room, though small, is very cozy and comfortable.
There's really nothing I didn't like about this hotel.
Location was great. Restaurant was great.
Not very handicap accessible. Small elevator. Couldn’t get mobility scooter in room.
Close to everything

Everything
This place is right down town. Walking distance to everything. Our room was very clean with a very comfortable bed. I enjoyed their lobby/lounge which had a happy hour 5-8. It was a great place to sit and relax. I met an old friend there for morning coffee. People were there reading and enjoying the morning. Staff were very pleasant. We definitely would stay there again.
Beautiful rooms, great customer service.
Parking.
Lovely 1920’s theme with interesting artefacts in the room. Great bar. Friendly staff.
No safe in room but that’s the only thing I can criticise.
The location is right in the heart of Prescott in the vicinity of all of the shops, restaurants and saloons. The hotel in situated in a quaint old building. The elevator was installed in 1928 and has just the right amount of rustic charm. Our guest room was just the right size. Everything was clean from our guest room to the hallways to the restaurant to the lounge to all of the outside spaces around the hotel. The only meal we purchased in the Bistro was breakfast, which was priced right and the portions were just the right size. Parking is directly behind the hotel in a free parking garage right across from the hotel. I highly recommend this place.
CUTE ROOMS,
Was told would have room by elevator. Had requested when booked room and again at check in. When went up to room was in last room in hallway. Thought had breakfast, none provided. No coffee in room and was not told had comp coffee in lobby.
Staff and rooms were fantastic!
location and "room"
I have nothing bad to say about this hotel.
Convenience and historic hotel.
The air conditioner in the room ran every minute for a few seconds. It was hard to sleep.
Very nice old hotel
Proximity to shops and bars
If you have any issues with claustrophobia do not stay here. We paid $236 a night to stay in a 9x9 room. The door was one foot away from the bed and you could hit your knees on the wall when you sat on the potty. I don't know how they can legally sell a room this size for that much money. It was an absolute horrible stay
Great location, good vibes
Overall feeling that it needed to be deep cleaned, especially by looking at the carpets and the shower
Location was excellent. Loved the lounge area and the coffee in the morning was greatly appreciated!
Nothing
We loved everything about the hotel and especially the staff! They go above and beyond and so nice and friendly!!!
Everything! Location, staff, building was historic!!
Everybody was nice & walking distance
Different prices for the same kind of beer at the bars
Location and staff! Talk with Kevin about the local history!
Clean and well-maintained rooms. Nice balance between modern upgrades and historical/local character. Great downtown location, with convenient free parking. Staff were helpful and welcoming. The restaurant and speakeasy downstairs were great too!
Can't be faulted liked everything about it
The location is amazing! The bed is comfy!
No coffee in the room but they give you all of the water you want and coffee and tea is available free in the lobby.
