Reviewed Sep 12, 2026We had a two night stay in the Ramada Hotel. The location is optimal within easy reach of Jasper and the Rocky mountains. During our stay, there was a major power cut in the whole area around Jasper and Hinton for most of the day and night. The Hotel staff remained positive and in good spirits despite having to work in such difficult conditions
There was a musty type smell in the room and the it was not possible to open the windows. During the aforementioned power cut there was no air-conditioning available and the room became very warm and the air unbearable at times. The carpet, sofa bed and armchair were very old and worn and had several stains Additionally, the sofa bed was old, uncomfortable and made a noise with every movement. In general, the room didn't live up to the expected price-performance ratio.

Nous sommes arrivés à 19h00 heures et il n'y avait pas d'électricité depuis 14h00 heures et nous n'avons pas été avisé. L'électricité est revenue dans la nuit nous étions au 3ième étage ce qui n'est pas très plaisant avec des valises et pas d'élévateur. Nous avons dû nous éclairer avec nos cellulaires durant la première soirée et impossible de regarder la télévision. Ce n'est pas la faute de l'hôtel, la panne était généralisée. Je considère que nous ne devrions pas avoir à payer la première nuit.

The room was clean , but it was quite small. Also noticeable musty smell. The staff were friendly, and the essential amenities were available. However, the breakfast was disappointing, with limited variety and average quality. Overall, it was an acceptable stay, but there is definitely room for improvement, especially with the room freshness and breakfast. Overall, you are not getting what you are paying for.

Reviewed Jun 19, 2026Schönes Hotel in ruhiger Lage, freundlicher Check in, Zimmer schön eingerichtet, Frühstück inklusive. Zu einem guten Restaurant läuft man nur ein paar Meter über einen Parkplatz.
Der Frühstücksraum wirkte eher unsauber und ungemütlich. Das angebotene Frühstück war von Präsentation und Umfang her das schlechteste auf unserer Reise.

Staff did not keep the breakfast area the cleanest. Neither was the public washroom on the main floor really clean.

Excellent breakfast including bacon, pre made egg omelets, and waffles along with the regular toast,pastries,cereal, juice coffee and tea. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. This was a great choice for our stay to start our mountain holiday..more affordable than Jasper, and we saw an elk across the street!

Other guests on the floor were very loud until midnight but that's not the hotel. Just disrespectful people. I would stay again! Oh and the location is beautiful. Lots of nice walks. Convenient stores close by.

Reviewed May 16, 2026Room was not clean there were cookie crumbs on the armchair.. Rug needs to be stretched as you trip over the rolls in the rug. Breakfast the omelets were cold the tater tots were stuck together, The waffles stuck to the maker and had to be removed by hand as the machine was not sprayed with oil. The clock in the swimming pool did not work, and the jets in the hot tub did not work, Hallway rug was dirty. should be replaced.
