The facility is great but most importantly its location is amazing - walking distance to the ferry terminal to Quadra Island, downtown shopping centre and restaurants, museums, and trails.

Frühstück ist eine Katastrophe

Wir hatten ein Problem mit dem Wasserhahn von der Badewanne/Dusche. Es war niemand da, der das fixen konnte (zu wenig Personal). Um 22 Uhr kam dann die Person von Rezeption und hat das Wasser über Nacht abgestellt. Das war nicht so komfortabel… Frühstück hat uns auch nicht überzeugt.

The location and overall cleanliness

Charging high prices for very little comfort in the hotel room. The property took my credit card for “incidentals” upon check in even though I’d prepaid - may be typical hotel policy - but there was literally nothing to charge to the room. Fridge was empty, etc. charging 5 star pricing without luxury is certainly curious.

Das Frühstück und das zuständige Personal. Das man sein gebrauchtes Geschirr auf einen Wagen stellen soll, ist für mich zwar kein Problem, aber nicht konform mit einen 4 Sternehotel. Ich habe Zöliakie und habe dues vorgängig auch mitgeteilt. Mir wurde geantwortet, dass es glutenfreie Esswaren zum Frühstück haben wird. Es gab ein gutes glutenfreies Brot und ein absolut trockener, nach Nichts riechendem Muffin. Das Sortiment des Buffets war sonst reichhaltig, es gab verschiedene Cersalien und zwei verschiedene Teige um Pancakes und Waffeln zumachen. Mindestens Ceralien gehören auch in ein glutenfreies Angebot.

We asked for a handicap room and then asked for pet friendly. The 2nd request deleted the handicap request, so it was a bit difficult for my husband to shower and the room was at the far end of the hallway.

Bed was too soft and bothered my back.

I thought I had a booking for the 16th, but I made a mistake and booked the 15th. Fortunately, when I arrived and found my mistake, they were able to accommodate my wife and I, for a fair price. So, they have made a positive impact so far, but no report on last night can happen and now you know why. Bye for now.

Janky “crib” option. Was in fact a playpen with a hard board bottom, no mattress. My baby had to sleep in bed with me which was stressful as it’s quite high from the ground

I expected the view to be better. But I see you have little control over that. I came to finish my book and was looking for an inspiring view when I looked out the window.

The front desk agent was extremely friendly, and accommodating to my needs. He was very polite and did a fantastic job.

I was cold all night. I adjusted the heat but I was still freezing and had to grab a spare blanket from the closet. There was only one and my friend couldn't use one on his bed.

We were looking forward to using the hot tub, but upon our arrival discovered it was out of service.

Water view and location were a bonus. The staff were helpful. It was nice having a microwave in the room.

The room only has one comfortable chair and no small table for playing games or snacking. The coffee is terrible in the room and cafeteria. The scrambled eggs are quite rubbery and the bacon has an unusual flavour. Otherwise the stay was comfortable.

Sadly I got a room looking at the street so that was a disappointment. It appears that most rooms have a bit of a water view, but mine overlooked a bunch of homeless people. I asked if I could change rooms - willing to pay! But was told the option wasn’t available.

The only downside was that the heater was a bit loud, which might bother people who are sensitive to noise. My husband found it noisy.

Nice room with a small balcony and a lovely view of the water and the harbor. The room was clean and comfortable, and we really enjoyed our stay.

Cleaning staff did silly things… kept replacing all the towels, but never cleaned the bathroom floor. Left the glass coffee cup dirty. Both keys quit working indicating the staff changed the codes. We were locked out of our room 2 different nights

The location and morning staff were great!

The bathroom was filthy. I have never had to wash my bathroom floor before in a hotel until this stay. Bathroom had a strong urine smell. Washed the sticky floor and the white towels were so dirty. Took the fun out of my stay.

The location was excellent — right in downtown, which made it very convenient to explore everything on foot. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, and I really enjoyed using the hot tub — definitely a nice bonus after a long day!

What I didn’t like was the reception staff, who were not very welcoming, and the breakfast, which I found to be of medium to low standard compared to the rest of the stay. Overall, the accommodation itself was lovely, but the service and breakfast could use some improvement.

There was a sports team staying there as well. So slim pickings at breakfast
