Was quiet, clean for an older motel, the pillows leave a little to be desired also when i paid for the breakfast to only go in and be told it was closed so go early if you want to eat. i would stay again

The room was disgustingly dirty. Took pictures and took a list over to front desk and said how bad the room was. We should have had a big discount on the room. But unfortunately staff doesnt care. You should be ashamed to be renting out these rooms.

Good motel near everything

Basic budget Motel suited my needs.

Very old and rooms are not clean as per expectations. Overall a cheap stay if you just want to sleep and drive on to Waterton or Calgary .

I love the breakfast options. It's the best breakfast I've ever had at a motel.

It didn’t state anywhere that we’d need a credit card upon check-in. We paid online and got to the motel and couldn’t even stay. It also didn’t state anywhere that you have to check in at the hotel beside here, the Ramada I think.

The tobacco smell inside the room was unbearable. It was a celan room, but for a non-smoker it would be a torture.

The bed is very stiff and the pillows are very thin.

I was very disappointed, my room wasn't ready for 3pm. The room stunk funny. When I came back to the room there was crumbs on my bed

Check in was fine. The room had cigarette burns and there was a centipede on the pillow when i first went into the room after I checked in. The bed was comfortable and the hot water was great.

Conveniently located for dining options. Walking distance to Japanese Garden. Older motel but clean and good value for money. Breakfast included. Friendly people. Would stay here again.

It was very nice overall. Friendly staff, lovely breakfast, nice room layout. It however needs safety bars in the bathroom. I fell on the slippery wet floor (missed tge towel i put down as a mat). I was barely able to walk 2 weeks later and had some beautiful bruising. I literally could not get up because it was so slippery, the door opens inward and there just happened to be a fat old lady laying on the floor in the way of getting help. I really needed safety bars. The rooms are good value for a good price. I may have to pay more for the safety bar option from now on.

Changed our room with no hassle from a smoking to non-smoking.

Stayed for one night, no tv and no wifi, hotel did not seem interested in fixing it. Also no sign to say check in is in the Ramada lobby as this hotel does not have a lobby of its own. All and all very disappointed

This property was a bit of hidden gem, as it's actually run by the Ramada just across the parking lot. So cleaning standards are at that level. I also found that we were able to take advantage of the Ramada's breakfast facilities as well. Was great for an overnight, would repeat. Great value for money.

This hotel was absolutely disgusting. The bathtub was filthy, the sheets were dirty, it looked oike it hadnt been clean in months. I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy. Two thimbs down.

The room was very old and had a “sewer ” smell. Batheroom old…no vanity. Pillows were awful…flat and old. Blankets were old.

Everything was within walking distance

Worked out great when I needed a place last minute. Staff are kind and respectful. Room service was available everyday

The smell wasn’t the greatest. Everyone was very nice though.

I did not have a very good sleep as the pillows were soft and my neck sank into them even after I used the two extra pillows. The bed was not very comfortable either.

There is no lobby to register at the motel. Walked around the building a couple of times, had to wait for someone to leave their room and ask. The lobby is in the Ramada next door. Should mention it on the sign. Other than that the room was very confortable.

This is a great little motel that could use some updates fridges are broken or need a good clean and defrosting along with alot of things. Carpets should be laminate flooring no clue why management doesn't put a few bucks into it its booked alot

All though this property is fairly old it is very clean & quiet, recommend this place, continental breakfast included & it is really good.

Room was as expected, great breakfast in the morning!

Property improved greatly since last time I visited. Yet, half of the rooms at Chinook are located close to a car wash, and there is a constant flow of vehicles flowing by. There is also limited breakfast choice-- heavy on protein, not that great for vegetarians. Furniture, bath tub, blanket, drapes, etc, show wear and tear, and so are towels. Price I paid/night is high considering.

Enjoyed our stay, room was clean and met our needs!

We stayed there last night and went to have a shower was completely plugged full of hair, wrappers and everything we managed to clean it up and try to make it work, but nope, it was still plugged. But besides that it was very clean as I’m a head of housekeeper at my job. I would stay there again!!

A little noisy for awhile until car wash slows down then closes. Overall, good value. Clean, reasonably quiet, good staff and included hot breakfast!

Broken equipment in the rooms. It appears it's been like it for a long time.

The toilet needed adjustment, but overall enjoyed my stay. The room was clean, comfortable and generally quiet and got to watch the big hockey game on a big tv!

terrible smell

Came to Lethbridge to do a first aid course. Hotel was clean, spacious and tidy. Free morning breakfast was great! Full breakfast with eggs, waffles, sausage or bacon, toast, fruit and yogurt. Good value for both the room and breakfast! Would recommend for a quick overnight stay!

Wouldn’t accept cash or visa depot even though they did 2 weeks ago. They also ripped me off 2 months ago when I checked out, charging me double what I expected.

This is the third time I have stayed for work. I come to Lethbridge once a month and have had no issues staying here.

It was quiet, but the parking lot itself had garbage that had either been left or blown in.

It was clean and basic. Reasonable for the price. The heat was a problem stuck on and would not shut off. Also had to change a liggt bulb.

The experience was really good, the staff was kind, room was clean and the motel was affordable. Overall it was really nice experience with chinook motel.

It was good that the breakfast was included and staff were friendly. I just didn't like the dog hairs on the blanket.

I have stayed here a few times before and this is a great value choice for an overnight stay when we are travelling to America. Will stay here again.

It was unsanitary. We booked a non-smoking king bedroom, but they put us in a smoking-free room with 2 queen beds. We asked if we could transfer a room because the smell was so strong, but the front desk told us there was no more available room.

Traditional old style motel, dated furniture, microwave/smallfridge, flat screen tv and very clean. Bonus was hot breakfast in the Ramada Inn right next to the motel. You have to check in there for your room key.

Great place to stay. Reasonable rates, clean, quiet. It must be owned by the Ramada beside it since you go there to check in/out and get breakfast. I’ll stay there next time I need a room in Lethbridge.

This was a very pleasant stay, had trouble finding the office to register but found out you need to register at the Ramada Office, very clean spacious room, quite nice plus Continental Breakfast. No dislikes, will stay there again.

We knew this was an older hotel but we were disappointed in our room. There was remnants on the floor of either previous occupants or the door being ajar for an extended period. Grass and feathers were found in bathroom. We had to kill about six flies as soon as we arrived. Fridge was working. Didn’t try microwave. It appears that this motel was purchased by Ramada which is right next door. The main sign for this motel was missing. The room has paper thin walls we could hear TV and in middle of night, we could hear our neighbor snoring. Traffic noise was minimal. Good location. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping and theatre. Check in at Ramada. Signage was poor.

For a "motel" far better than I expected. It's attached to Ramada so it is a good place.

For the cost it is a budget friendly option that still gives you access to a great breakfast and amenities at the Sheraton it is associated with

It was your average Motel and it was fine for a short stay. It is pet friendly which is a bonus and something we would make use of in the future.

I’ve stayed at this motel multiple times and usually had no complaints. The breakfast is great for a motel, and the staff has generally been helpful. However, my most recent stay was disappointing. I noticed a strong sewer smell in my room that lasted throughout the day, and when I asked for help from the front desk, the staff seemed annoyed and didn’t offer a real solution other than moving me to a smoking room. The next morning, I was able to move back to a non-smoking room, which was a relief. Later that night, the power in my room went out (except for the air conditioning and alarm clock) after using the microwave. The front desk informed me that maintenance had left for the day and she couldn’t fix the issue or even access the breaker. I spent the entire night without power, and there was no follow-up or apology the next morning when the power finally came back on. I was really disappointed with how the situation was handled and expected better customer service. Hopefully, this was just an off experience, but I feel like this could have been managed better.

This was my second stay, I stayed for work. It's a bed, good shower, and a TV with a good amount of channels

We spent three days here and I can say that it was good place to stay. Thanks Chinook hotel to make my trip comfortable and safe.

The receptionist was rude, it was quite hard to find the intake office which is actually another hotel all together. And it's a motel that will not take a cash deposit, debit or any type of payment besides a credit card.

Convenient and easy to find. The fine print on the booking about checking in at the Ramada was missed, but quickly figured out.

The best part of the stay is the breakfast and the very friendly lady who was taking care of the area. The check in process was a bit slow considering there were no other guests aside from us. We did a very late check in and one would think that they would be ready for us. The light switch was connected with the fan so everytime you turn the lights on this loud fan would be on which is a bit iritating.

Under both beds in my room had lots of garbage(potato chip bag full of a can & other garbage, bed skirts were dripping of dry stains, fridge didn't work, no place to plug in coffee maker & lamp,provided, 2nd night, lost my parking spot provided with the room as a large truck with a long cargo trailer parked across 5 spots, with the owners up & talking in front of my door starting at 5am until I checked out. The manager did not acknowledge these issues & did not apologize for inconveniences, nor would they compensate any refund.

Staff were friendly and accomodating. The accomodations were dated but serviceable. I stayed in the motel section and the rooms were classed as pet friendly. The room was musty smelling. Location was convenient and walkable to Henderson Lake and restaurants. Parking was plenty.

We were able to check in a bit early as we had a 2 month old baby with us, that needed to be out of the carseat. Thank you it was much appreciated

Didn't expect much for the price, but the rooms were "smoking" which I wasn't aware of, and the smell was horrendous. I could not sleep in there. But the staff at their sister hotel next door at least gave me a discount to upgrade to the tower building at a discount. Chinook Motel is the epitome of what you think of with the word "motel".

This is an old outdated Motel, it doesn't even have its own lobby. But it was clean and I had two excellent nights of sleep. I was worried the commercial car wash in front of my room would be noisy, but no, it was actually very quiet once inside the room. I was pleasantly surprised. Complimentary breakfast was good, Wifi was fast. I recommend for a good night of sleep on a budget.
