The food was excellent both dinner and breakfast. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

The hotel is old inside. Rooms looks dated. Lift was out of order and air conditioning unit was broken in our room. Location is not safe to go outside.

Estuvimos 3 noches diferentes por tanto en habitaciones distintas y en todas el ruido fue insoportable, muy difícil descansar con el ruido constante que viene por las antiguas instalaciones en baños, aires y paredes. La limpieza mediocre. Sin enchufes en ambas mesillas.

Das Frühstücksbuffet war herausragend gut - eine sehr große Auswahl und auch als Vegetarierin viele gute Alternativen vorhanden!

O banheiro é velho. Carpete velho. Quase não tem tomadas. O transfer para o aeroporto sai de hora em hora. Só em alguns momentos que sai de 30 em 30 minutos.

Cercanía con el aeropuerto. Servicio de transfer. Limpio. Restaurante muy bueno. Personal agradable. Tiene piscina y un pequeño gimnasio. Me permitieron hacer el check out más tarde sin coste alguno.

Il buffet per la cena a self service è stato non all'altezza di normali aspettative: alle 19.45 ( ristorante aperto fino alle 22 ) la maggior parte delle vaschette con i vari tipi di cibo era quasi vuota e, a parte quella del riso bollito, nessuna è stata rifornita. Il risultato è stata una cena a base di quello che era più abbondante e meno freddo. Considerando il buon livello dell'albergo, questo è a mio parere un demerito.

Abbiamo notato che il personale della reception non é molto accogliente, il personale di sala al ristorante poco attento alle esigenze del cliente. L'unica persona su cui fare affidamento é il Signore Chad.

We stayed here for its proximity to East Rand Mall for some shopping and O R Tambo as we were going on a flight. The approach to the airport was right over the hotel/room but the windows were well insulated so it was not heard. It was cold outside, 30 cm of snow had been promised in some weather forecasts but the snow did not come and the room was warm despite the cold outside. The breakfast was good. Can recommend Little Neros which is nearby, a restaurant suitable for families.

Receptionist at check in fully ignored our request to link this booking to our IHG account. As an IHG hotel chain, members can receive extended check out etc, all it took was to look up our email address. 1 towel provided was dirty. Not good. Dated bathrooms, but everything functional. Loud all around. From airplanes to guests coming and going around the clock- an airport hotel, I guess.

The free shuttle to the airport was great. We had 2 queen size beds which were comfortable. Planes fly directly overhead but we didn’t really hear that until about 7.30am snd it was quite muffled.

The property needs some TLC it’s a little bit tired. There wasn’t a lot of sound proofing in the room from the corridor. Breakfast was ok but we’ve had better choice before. The location was ok but reading the warning note in the room was unsettling and we didn’t leave the hotel.

Everything was great, as usual, not my first time here. Good breakfast. Great shots for plane spotters.

The shower head is hideous. It needs to be replaced, or better yet, a European shower head with a hose. The vending machine has a limited selection and doesn't accept card payments. Cash only.

The bath top was dirty the pillow cases the floor needed vaccuming i just did not hsve time to complain the service was excellent and location it just need the person to check rooms after cleaning but is very safe and they organize a trust worty transportation

I liked the atmosphere at dinner time. The beds were well made and the pillows were just perfect.

The shower was nice and warm. However I think the bathroom tiles could use a renovation.

Arrival was super good with prompt welocome and registration quick and comforting and even the challenge of number of day querie was sorten within senconds with the web AAP.The room was super brilliant clean, warm and efficient bathroom and space with critical furnature thank you. The breakfast was more than than value paid with variety to choose and with all honesty it was delicious too with by soul out staff s support from welcome at the door to ongoing check ups and additional support.Well done

If the bathroom shower gels,hair shumpo plenty from basi, bath and shawer,BUT body lotion in the shawer kepall three emty tho little that does not squees out creating a challenge as one could not move containers....from one station to another.maybe additional towel incase needed and the floor towel to elaminate wet floors. I went to the GYM room with no assistance and therefore never explore some equipments out of fear .......there need to be someone to motivate and orientate t to minimise unnessesary risks and exccidents???? and for those who do not know some of equipments which are so soper good and super good condition and standards thank you....

The entry/lobby and the dining area were fantastic. The breakfast buffet was good and we especially appreciated the made-to-order eggs. It was a quick ride to the airport on the shuttle.

It smelled. Our floor, our room....it all smelled really bad. We had to ask for more towels. We also did not have basic amenities that we are used to at Holiday Inn, like hair dryers. The beds were HARD and the sheets were stiff.

O facto de ser próximo do aeroporto e de dispor de restaurante

Pedimos uma recomendação de um guia para fazer um tour pelas cidades de Sowoto e de Joanesburgo. O preço cobrado foram o equivalente a 200 eur por 3h. O guia não parecia ter nenhuma experiência. Apenas nos deixou em sítios turísticos que para visitar tínhamos de pagar à parte. Tudo o que pedimos para visitar, por exemplo um view point da cidade dizia que não estava disponível e sempre que questionávamos por alguma zona dizia que não era aconselhado a turistas. Sinceramente senti que foi um scam. O hotel não deveria recomendar este tipo de serviços pois acaba por prejudicar a sua imagem.

I tried to connect to the WiFi using the password on the key (card) but it kept denying me access until I just slept.

The cupboard are definitely to small to hang clothing for the week for 2 people.🫣

1. I spoke to staff prior to check in and was assured that there was airport transfer every half hour. We waited over an hour at the airport for the shuttle to arrive to be told it only collects every hour. When trying to contact the property the number provided on here connected us to another hotel and they could offer no help. 2. Our room was on the second floor which we got to in an elevator. But then had a staircase to climb to our room which was tricky with large bags.

Place was clean, staff were friendly facilities were good check in and out was easy

the AC made a noise the entire night. every 10 mins there was a crackling sound. i had the worst sleep of my life. the staff moved me to another room. but that room had the same noise.

Molto comodo rispetto all’aeroporto di Johannesburg, prevede un servizio di navetta gratuito per collegare l’hotel e l’aeroporto e viceversa. Ha un ristorante interno con orari di apertura molto ampi. Il personale è molto gentile.

La moquette nelle stanza, in generale i bagni e i corridoi potrebbero essere rinnovati.

Hotel situé à proximité de l aéroport et de quelques commerces et restaurants dont mc do ouvert h24. L hôtel est très sécurisé. Le petit déjeuner est bon, il y en a pour tous les goûts. Personnel serviable et agréable.

La chambre est défraîchie. Pareil pour la salle de bain. L insonorisation n est pas bonne.

Localização próxima ao aeroporto, transfer gratuito de/para o aeroporto, café da manhã incluído, água de cortesia no frigobar do quarto e restaurante 24 horas. Reservei um quarto para 3 adultos com 1 cama Queen e 1 cama de solteiro, mas chegando no quarto havia 2 camas de casal. Conversamos com a recepção para explicar que as camas estavam diferentes do que tinha sido reservado no Booking, e a princípio eles falaram que só tinham este tipo de quarto para 3 pessoas, mas quando questionamos se devíamos reclamar com o Booking, eles logo providenciaram um quarto extra (igual ao primeiro), ou seja, acabamos ficando com 2 quartos para as 3 pessoas.

Alguns hóspedes comentaram que a recepção informou que eles teriam que assinar um termo caso fossem sair do hotel à noite, se responsabilizando por estarem saindo em uma área perigosa. Não foi o nosso caso, pois nos hospedamos apenas por uma noite, antes do voo de volta para o Brasil, e preferimos jantar no restaurante do próprio hotel.

Near the airport and the free shuttle is a great bonus. Room was clean but the bathrooms need attention. In the bath tub we found hair and nail clippings which was disgusting. Very friendly staff especially the tall guy with dreadlocks ( we didn’t get his name) Great breakfast

"The accommodation fulfills its purpose of being close to the airport and provided the safety we expected. The hotel doesn't have anything else, like a kids' playroom, a sauna, or any indoor activities for winter. We paid for the buffet dinner, but it had very few options and nothing for children, which was not very good. The service was good, and the staff was very friendly. In my room, the air conditioning was noisy, and the soap and shampoo dispensers were completely empty; only the conditioner had product. I think the value for money is okay, but just barely—I wouldn't pay any more for it. I would have liked the room to be a bit warmer, though, as it was a little cold."

"Honestly, there were very few things I didn't like. The hotel fulfilled its purpose of being close to the airport and offered a shuttle service, which is very convenient. However, I did expect more amenities for children; there was absolutely nothing for them, and they get bored without entertainment. Quite far from the airport. Small shuttle bus so if there were a lot of people some would have missed it. Asked for a wake up call three times when we checked in and never received it. Luckily we woke up ourselves in time. Never got an apology from the night clerk who we had asked to put us on the list for a wake up call.

The location is great. The staff are very helpful. The wifi connection is wonderful.

Wir haben das Hotel als Zwischenaufenthalt vor dem Flug am Abend genutzt. Vor Ort waren eine Bauarbeiten, die uns aber nicht gestört haben. Für ein paar Stunden daher in Ordnung. Die Gegend sah okay aus, man sollte aber sehr aufpassen. Darauf hat uns netterweise Chad hingewiesen.

Deuxième chambre réservée, même commentaire que le précédent : Excellent rapport qualité-prix. Navette à l'aéroport (une par heure), accueil très agréable. Nous sommes arrivés le matin et avons rapidement eu nos chambres. Le personnel a été aux petits soins avec nous. Ils nous ont organisé une service de taxi également pour faire une balade avec les enfants. Tout était bien organisé et le chauffeur ponctuel. La chambre est suffisante pour une halte d'aéroport. Les dîners et petits déjeuners plus que convenables, j'ai pris des clubs sandwichs et toasts excellents. (Attention plus grande quantité que ce qu'on peut imaginer pour le prix). Nous revenons dans 15 jours avec grand plaisir.
