Das Hotel liegt unmittelbar in der Nähe des Galataturms erhöht in der Stadt! Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Wir konnten das Zimmer tauschen, um einen wunderbaren Ausblick auf die Stadt und die vielen Moscheen zu haben! Diesen Ausblick genossen wir auch auf der Terrasse beim Frühstück und abends beim Sonnenuntergang.

Das Hotel ist für ein 3- Sterne Hotel in Ordnung, könnte allerdings wieder einmal eine kleine Auffrischung erhalten. Uns hat dies nicht gestört, aber erwähnenswert ist es wohl auch.

Somente no primeiro dia eu consegui ver o rooftop e realmente a vista é bem bonita e privilegiada. A rua não é bonita, mas é muito perto da torre Gálata, o que facilitou bastante para nós.

As instalações eram bem menos conservadas do que eu esperava, móveis, infraestrutura e tudo mais. Reservei somente por causa do rooftop e estava fechado durante a nossa hospedagem. Particularmente prefiro café da manhã de buffet do que servido na mesa, pois não conseguimos/queremos comer tudo o que é servido e o que queremos repetir não podemos.

Es un edificio muy antiguo, se le nota el desgaste. Sin embargo estaba todo limpio. Eche de menos el restoran. Tiene una terraza hermosa para disfrutar con un buen café o un buen cocktail.

Sicuramente la zona risulta essere abbastanza centrale e vicina alle fermate della metropolitana.

La colazione viene servita troppo tardi per me che avevo degli orari da rispettare. Infatti nonostante avessi scelto il soggiorno con colazione inclusa, per la maggior parte del soggiorno non ne ho usufruito. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è insufficiente: la gestione e la presentazione degli spazi non sono all'altezza della cifra pagata.

L’hôtel bénéficie d’un emplacement pratique plutôt central et proche d’adresses très sympathique dans le quartier Galata. Le personnel est disponible et aimable.

Joints de douches moisis, odeurs nauséabondes, matelas tachés, troué, sales et inconfortables, et vermines. Mon compagnon et moi même avons étés piqué à plusieurs reprises par des punaises de lit (une cinquantaine de piqûres). Par précaution nous avons dû jeter la moitié de nos affaires et appliquer un protocole strict et contraignant pour pouvoir rentrer chez nous sans infester notre maison. Je tiens également à signaler la finesse des murs et cloisons nous ayant permis de vivre au rythme de nos voisins (très bruyants). Enfin, les photos présentes sur booking ne reflètent pas fidèlement l’hôtel (à part les chambres dont les têtes de lits rouge infestées de punaises sont bien reconnaissables). La terrasse accessible 24h/24h n’est pas aussi entretenue que sur les photos, l’entrée de l’hôtel se fait dans une petite rue calme mais sale sur laquelle notre chambre avait l’atout majeur de nous offrir une vue plongeante…sur les poubelles ! Je ne savais pas qu’une chambre économique rimait avec chambre vétuste, si c’était à refaire, je ne referai pas (jamais).

Выбирала отель на одну ночь переночевать между двумя рейсами, хотелось что-то недорогое, недалеко от метро и в оживленном месте, чтобы вечером можно было выйти погулять, при этом чтобы ночью было тихо. Отель Galatower полностью оправдал ожидания - расположен буквально в двух минутах от Галатской башни, при этом в тихом переулке. Очень дружелюбный персонал как на рецепции, так и в ресторане на завтраке. Номер маленький, но все есть - кондиционер, хорошая сантехника, чайник. Ночью было очень тихо. Особенно стоит отметить террасу на крыше, где накрывают завтрак - очень приятно посидеть с чашечкой кофе с видом на башню или на Босфор

Если жить вдвоем и неделю, то номер может показаться маловат

Wir hatten schöne Tage in Istanbul und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist super und man kann gut zwischen den Vierteln hin und her laufen oder man nimmt den Bus.

Das Bad hätte ein bisschen sauberer sein können und an einem Tag hatten wir leider kurz Besuch von einigen Ameisen.

Lokacija je super. Pogled iz strešne terase je nekaj posebnega. Ni potrebno plačat 50€ kot je to potrebno za Galata tower. Super mirna lokacija!

Hotel je v nekoliko slabšem stanju kot izgleda na objavljenih sfotografijah.

Ho prenotato questo hotel per la colazione con vista galata tower ma a quanto pare la terrazza era in ristrutturazione e quindi inagibile. Abbiamo fatto colazione sulla strada, direi una bella differenza rispetto al previsto! Bisognerebbe avvertire per tempo gli ospiti se ci sono ristrutturazioni e valutare un eventuale sconto/soluzione alternativa.

Staff and location were alright!

The breakfast is not buffet like in pictures, and contains plates of food clearly just circling through different guests. Definitely not worth paying for!

The hotel is in a great location next to the Galata Tower and a 5-minute walk from the metro. The staff is friendly and the rooms are beautifully decorated.

Amazing terrace and room views! I didn't even feel the need to pay €30 to go up galata tower with the crowd. 3 min walk (uphill) to galata tower. Streets were steep and narrow but manageable with walking/taxi (airport transfer 2000 TRY). My taxi cost 2400 TRY 40 mins (unplanned as havaist bus to Taksim was full and metros don't run after midnight). 24/7 reception. I arrived at 3am and checked in without issue. Booked on booking.com genius discount €61 for 2 nights. Got a free room upgrade to a beautiful sea view room (level 5). Lift from level -2 to level 5. Terrace on level 6 rooftop, accessible 24/7. Stairs from level 5. Breakfast is served there for €15 (i didn't eat there). Room comes with a safe (4 digits + # to lock and unlock). Mini fridge, aircon, 2 bottles of water a day, shower and toilet, windows that open, kettle with tea and coffee, tv.

Nil. It was extremely great value for what I paid.

На первом этаже плохая вентиляция, мебель и оборудование устаревшие. При бронировании мы выбирали вариант с завтраком, однако по прибытии в отель нам сообщили, что завтрак в бронирование не включён. В итоге оказалось, что наше бронирование было оформлено без завтрака. Наш рейс задержали. При бронировании был предусмотрен трансфер, который предоставлялся бесплатно в рамках условий отеля. Мы заранее сообщили отелю, что самолёт задерживается по техническим причинам. Однако после задержки нам сказали, что трансфер предоставить уже не смогут. Считаем это неудобным, поскольку задержка произошла не по нашей вине, и мы своевременно проинформировали отель.

El desayuno no es bufet libre ellos te sirven lo que tienen vastantes cosas pero no son variados y con callejones con subida a la torre galata lo único malo pero si tienes buen físico no hay problema .

L'hôtel est juste à côté du Galata Tower avec une vue imprenable du rooftop sur la Bosphore et le quartier Sultanahmet sur le rive en face. Plein de petites rues avec des restos et boutiques autour, c'est un quartier très vivant. A 10 minutes de marche du pont Galata et le port avec plein de restaurants pour manger d'excellent poisson grillé ! Personnel très aimable et attentif, une équipe jeune, dispo jour et nuit. Chambre très spacieuse, avec une déco orientale. Clim en parfait état.

Salle de bain un peu vétuste et chasse d'eau fonctionnait pas très bien. Pas bcp d'eau pour la douche mais comme il faisait très chaud, cela nous a pas bcp dérangé ;)

The location and the view from the terrace were the highlights of our stay.

L'emplacement était vraiment parfait. A quelques pas du métro, de la tour Galata et son quartier animé. Très pratique aussi pour traverser le Bosphore par le pont et rejoindre l'autre rive pour visiter la Mosquee Bleue et Ste Sophie. Pourtant l'environnement est calme, nous n'avons pas été dérangé la nuit. Nous n'avons pas testé le petit déjeuner qui nous semblait cher (15€/pers) et avons préféré nous rendre dans l'un des nombreux cafés proches qui proposent d'excellents brunch pour moins cher (on vous conseille Efsy Café). Le rooftop permet d'avoir une belle vue sur la ville (et super pour une partie de jeu de société avec les enfants en débutant une bière Efes bien fraîche achetée dans la supérette à coté). Si vous souhaitez dîner, on vous conseille de vous éloigner de Galata, c'est cher et pas super bon ( on n'a peut etre pas eu de chance!). Nous avons préféré dîner du côté de la Mosquée Bleue. Nos restaurants préférés: le Mar Kebab et le Last Ottoman. Les visites à Istanbul peuvent couter très cher (meme avec un pass), nous n'avons malheureusement pas tout fait. Nous avons seulement pris des billets pour la Basilique Citerne. Pour le reste nous avons déambulé dans les ruelles, traversé le Grand Bazar et le Marché aux épices etc. Nous avons pris le ferry pour quelques euros ( on charge simplement la carte Istanbul transport utilisable pour toute la famille, bien moins cher qu'une croisière !)et visiter ainsi des quartiers plus calmes et bien différents du centre ville. Prévoyez des bonnes chaussures confortables, on marche beaucoup dans les ruelles pavées, des livres turques pour les pourboires et une tenue couvrante pour la visite la Mosquee (sinon ils prêtent gratuitement un foulard et une jupe longue pour les femmes et les hommes).

L'hôtel est désuet et la literie n'était pas assez ferme (c'est une question de goût). Pour 4 nuits ça allait on ne s'attendait pas à mieux vu le prix. Nous nous y sommes pris un peu trop tard dans les réservations pour espérer mieux.

Posizione molto comoda per raggiungere a piedi e con i mezzi le principali attrazioni turistiche, sia sulla parte europea che asiatica. Il rooftop ha una vista panoramica sul Corno d'oro.

La colazione viene servita a tavola con portate tipiche della tradizione turca. Peccato che sia tutti i giorni la stessa identica e non ci sia possibilità di scelta a buffet o con un menù. Si spreca molto cibo a mio parere. La nostra stanza aveva problemi di infiltrazione in bagno e dal soffitto gocciolava acqua. Una mattina ci siamo svegliati con il pavimento bagnato, abbiamo segnalato il problema ma non ci hanno cambiato la camera.

Justo la calle en la que está el hotel está descuidada, pero el hotel está bien y el personal es muy amable.

L'hotel si trova in una posizione eccellente, a soli 2 minuti dalla torre di Galata e a circa 8 minuti in discesa dalla fermata del tram. Staff gentilissimo e sempre disponibile. Vera chicca la terrazza che offre una bellissima vista panoramica. Rapporto qualità prezzo eccezionale.

Amazing check-in service, super friendly and helpful, available 24h which is convenient when I arrived late at night.. Room in a quiet street. Comfy bed, AC, fridge, bathroom utils, elevator. The design of the room was super cute. It's in a very good location, close to everything and the view from the rooftop is stunning. Will happily return if I visit Istanbul again.

Not related to hotel, but you can hear prayers broadcast through the city at 4am and it can wake you up if you keep windows open. Not the most pleasant if you are a light sleeper and barely fell asleep just to be woken up like that ... 😑

The location was awesome. Loved staying near the Galata Tower and the easy access to delicious restaurants. The room was a traditional Turkish style which I loved. Bed was comfortable.

I had a very pleasant stay at Galatatower Hotel for two nights. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. I especially appreciated how quiet the hotel was, which made it easy to relax after exploring the city. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel!!

Los servicios de aseo en mi habitación estaban con problemas de tubería y olor desagradable. Las camas no son cómodas, no hay refrigerador. En general el hotel necesita una renovación.

Is my thire time in this hotel.Very comfortable hotel. Great location close to Galata and Karakoy and perfectly connected. Is my favorite accomodation in Istanbul. The rooftop has amazing views over the Bosphorus. The breakfast is amazing with a lot of variety and the staff are super helpful and friendly.

The best part is the excellent location, just couple of meters to galata tower. The guys at reception are also wonderful, super friendly, kind and helpful!

We spent four wonderful nights at Galatower Hotel, from 27 to 31 May, and absolutely loved our stay. The hotel is in a brilliant location, and the view from our room was simply stunning — exactly the sort of Istanbul view you never get tired of. The traditional Turkish breakfast was fantastic: incredibly varied, beautifully presented and full of delicious local dishes. What really made our stay special, though, was the genuine hospitality and care from the team. A very special thank you to Rasul — also known to us as «Andrey» :) — who went out of his way to make our stay incredibly comfortable and enjoyable. He was always friendly, attentive and ready to help, and made us feel truly welcome. Thank you to the whole Galatower Hotel team for such a lovely stay in Istanbul. We would happily recommend the hotel to friends and would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Gala Tower Hotel. The hotel was quiet and peaceful, despite being so close to Galata Tower and the lively city center. The staff at the reception were very friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. We felt comfortable throughout our stay and would definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit to Istanbul.

A small suggestion would be to add mosquito screens to the windows, which would help keep insects out when fresh air is needed.

This was my second stay here and again a nice room in a good location close to the Galata tower. An excellent breakfast was available on the rooftop with views across the Golden Horn

The location was great. Steepy roads around the hotel, yes, buy it was a great spot to explore that part of Istanbul, with lots of interesting cafes around. The staff was amazing and very helpful. The bed was clean, the soundproofing was good, and the view from the room was nice. AC worked. Haven't tried breakfast, but there were lots of drinks to buy on the first floor. The hotel has also suggested transfer from the airport.

The room was... meh. Uncomfortable matrass that has definitely seen a lot, although the sheets were clean. Some dirt/mold in the shower cabin bottom, and its glass doors leaked the water. Not enough towels. No hair conditioner and not a lot of amenities overall, only liquid soap and shampoo bottles attached to the wall. Refrigerator didn't work and was empty, no minibar. Overall, an okay choice for this part of the city for this price, considering the Genius program discount.

Der Ausblick von der Dachterasse ist einzigartig und wunderschön und 24 Stunden lang zugänglich. Das hat uns für alle anderen Umstände im Hotel entschädigt. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist sehr, sehr nett, engagiert, bemüht und entgegenkommend, 24 Stunden vor Ort!

Sehr mangenlnde Hygiene auf der Dachterasse, v.a. während dem Frühstück. Die "Küche" ist katastrophal, das Besteck wird nicht an den Griffen haltend verteilt, sondern vorne an den Mundstücken - mit Händen, die kurz vorher einen ziemlich verunreinigten nassen Lappen in der Hand hielten. Getränke zum Frühstück gibt es nur aus Mini Espressopappbechern für Wasser und künstlichen Orangensaft. Die Tische werden im Außenbereich nur nach ausdrücklicher Bitte gewischt - Fekalien von Möwen wurden mit einem Lappen aufgewischt, der dann weiter für alle Tische auch im Essbereich verwendet wurde. Die Zimmer sind eher abgewohnt. Achtung: verwendete Handtücher werden nichtversetzt, sondern einfach wieder zusammengelegt, sodass man nicht mehr wusste, wem welches Tuch gehört. Teilweise rinnt das Wasser aus Dusche, Toilette, etc, sodass man laufend kleine Überschwemmungen hat. Der Ausblick aus dem Zimmer ist nicht so prickelnd, weil Baustelle (dafür kann das Hotel natürlich nichts) und die ganze Nacht unterhalten sich Leute auf der Strasse direkt unter den Fenstern. Mir persönlich egal, aber wer es ruhig braucht, verzweifelt hier. Bei Ankunft (Mitternacht) war eines unserer Zimmer nicht ferig gemacht; der Rezeptionist hat sich dann persönlich darum gekümmert und erledigt. Wie gesagt, Rezeption perfekt; Küche und Reinigungspersonal eher fragwürdig.

Очень вежливый персонал, уборку делали каждый день, местоположение отличное (прямо возле галатсой башни). Не слышно лишних шумов улицы, советую всем. Отель отличный, советую всем. Соотношение цена и качество соответствует.

За свои деньги, это прекраснейший отель! Без увеличения стоимости дали номер с видом на Босфор на самом верхнем этаже. Также бесплатно заселили второго человека. Изначально планировал один проживать, но планы по итогу изменились. Также хочу обратить внимание на завтрак. Завтрак классический Турецкий, вкусный, но жирноват. Выбора как на шведском столе нет. Все приносят заранее. Отзывчивый и вежливый персонал.

Although the room was quite small, it was clean and comfortable. Good location close to Galata tower. value for money. And overall a good place to stay to explore that part of the city..

The location is perfect for a short stay in Istanbul. Most major sights can be reached on foot, and if you need public transport, it's only a few minutes away. Getting to and from the airport is also very convenient, which made our trip much easier. The room itself was comfortable, but the highlight was definitely the view. The panorama from the windows is simply stunning - you can see the whole city spread out before you, almost like looking at a painting. We would happily stay here again.

The location and staff were amazing! Our stay was comfortable and enjoyable for a week, although a little small. We loved the lobby cat and kitten too. I would highly recommend.

The wifi did not work very well and our tv did not have any channels, despite saying there is satellite in the description. The AC and mini fridge does not stay on when you leave so after a day outing, you come back to a warm room and water. We also didn’t know the breakfast was only one option and were shocked by the amount of food it was. I preferred the breakfast spots nearby.
