Spa was the best thing about this place.
A bit of confusion over paying for the spa as I thought it was free to guests.
Breakfast
Spa facilities run down cold water no hot water this was emailed over to us but it appears that this has been an ongoing problem for a long time. the outdoor spa was closed no reason given. Room damp possibly allowed to have a dog in the room but unsure. When we escalated the concerns on arrival no apology or concern. The hotel was booked because of the spa option. It needs advertised better as currently fraudulent
Run down Over priced Breakfast paid 4.50 per tray and it was wrong Man walked in room when we were in bed
The range of facilities - gym, reformer Pilates, padel, lake, assault course. Proximity to Bicester Village.
The communal areas are very tired (carpets are stained and baggy). No hot water in the spa made for a lukewarm visit. I didn’t like having to pay £50 per adult per night as a deposit when I’d already paid for the rooms. A very negative and unwelcoming start.
Lovley comfortable beds good food and service in the restaurant
There was lots of dust on the lamps in the bedroom the plug hole didn’t irk in the sink waited a long time to be served in the bar one person working and the others were walking around
Location and car park
Pillows were awful! Worst night sleep ever!
Honestly, awful value for £200 a night for the rooms. • The room was extremely dated and clearly needs repainting and renovating badly. • The furniture was old, damaged and cracking, and even needed repainting. • There was a spider in the corner of the room, which made us question how thoroughly the room had been cleaned. • The carpets were very old, uneven and badly fitted in places — honestly a trip hazard. • The bed was unbelievably uncomfortable and poor quality. You literally sank into it just by sitting down. For a £200 room, completely unacceptable. • Breakfast was disappointing even with the very little variety. It was not made clear that it was menu-based in booking, neither from receptionist rather than a normal self-service breakfast. We had to even pay extra for 2 more fried eggs, CRAZY!! After already paying this much for the room one night and breakfast, constantly finding additional charges was ridiculous. • On top of everything, the Bank Holiday opening times for the restaurant and spa were not clearly advertised, meaning we couldn’t properly use the facilities we specifically booked the hotel for as we arrived in the evening after our Oxford tour. On the top of that, thanks to the very kind and caring Spanish girl working in there, we were able to order some dinner made by the chef exactly at 9pm (the time the kitchen closed and not advertised), we also had to pay extra £4,90 for the room service (apparently included as said in booking) In total: £300 for ONE NIGHT, I expected considerably better. The hotel is tired, poorly maintained and nowhere near the quality the price suggests. Definitely would not pay this again. Awful! My partner and I could not believe it
Good location for Bicester Village. Lovely surroundings.
The location
Old smells in the bed and sheets
Breakfast and Spa facilities
Clean Ness if carpets leading through corridors
Amazing breakfast. Comfy beds.
Cold swimming pool ( although understand this was boiler issues and out of the normal expected conditions)
Great gym and big bedroom
I arrived early and I admit it was my fault I was some what surprised by the frosty reception staff. The young cleaner was great helping me find my room. Ivan the barman was also great. Lockers in the spa were mostly broken. Staff at breakfast were not professional. Gossiping etc Basically it’s pretending to be 4* but failing.
The location was good
The rooms was shocking given the price, the hotel hotel is in desperate need of an upgrade and the photos make it look better than it is. The spa is very tired and the changing rooms dirty. The breakfast was terrible we waited an hour for our service to arrive and the staff were rude. In fact one young lady was arguing with her supervisor as she was mortified her tables had been waiting so long. There was no apology or even explanation as to why we waited. The restaurant is poor but there is a very nice miller and carter not far away. The rooms need an upgrade and the carpets were terrible. Do not take your shoes off leave them on. Really not worth the piece they charged and they were not interested in feedback.
Location
Rooms dated Awful mattress Broken Hair Dryer Over priced for what you get
The location and grounds were fabulous
The mattress was too soft. There was no support whatsoever. Unable to sleep due to aching bac
Nice gym pool
Ants in my room no hot water no proper coffee
The location was great
Communal indoor spaces looked a little tired and carpets stained in several places
Clean , welcoming with nice room and the use of the pool
The restaurant appeared a little soulless but breakfast was super.
The standards around the grounds and public areas of the hotel were lovely, we particularly loved the portrait bar which provided a feast for the eyes and a peaceful relaxing environment to enjoy drinks and bites.
Cleanliness of the room and spa facility access.
Good location
Room was shabby, dirty chair, big iron mark on the carpet and generally needed renovation. Turned back the bed and sheet and duvet had blood on. Couldn’t move us as they advised hotel was full so changed the bedding. Did not want to stay but had no option as it was very late.
Nice staff
Shower cold
Location,
A little run down, lack of staff
The view of the entrance only….
The rude staff, not working jacuzzis ,
Great location for our trip
Nothing
Large car park, easy to access, staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble especially the Head of Housekeeping who went above the call of duty.
Sone aspects were dated and needed some TLC such as crack in sink, no toilet brush, dated carpets and deco
Location was great, close to the main roads. Breakfast, was well cooked but not as described - missing items etc and coffee was finished hours before end of service and not refilled.
It was dirty with dust, partial repairs, dead flies in cabinets, felt uncared for and under invested, some staff needed customer services training.
Enjoyed my 1 night stay, lovely staff and great spa facilities
More fruit at breakfast would’ve been nice
Spa facilities were super, and the staff front of house excellent. Our room was spacious.
The food wasn’t brilliant, we had a refund on a curry and the wine glasses not clean. Breakfast wasn’t a massive continental selection. Several items ran out mid breakfast and there were no replacement items. Our room had several spectacular cobwebs. Easy to miss, though.
The room was nice and location
The staff at breakfast time we very unhelpful
Location for Bicester village was good
The first room provided smelt disgusting, this was changed on request. I had to pay a £200 room deposit for 2 days of our stay. We had to book a time for breakfast, when arriving there was no one else in the restaurant. On leaving I was charged £152 which I immigrated queried and this was later refunded.
The staff were really lovely and very accommodating.
The whole place is a bit dated, carpets lifting, decor old fashioned. The spa was ok but again dated with tiles coming off in the steam room and jacuzzie areas.
Beautiful! Has everything you need and in a heatwave aircon!
Nothing
Good property for the money. Travelling for business so it met all expectations.
Unlikely to come here for pleasure as nothing was amazing, however a very adequate hotel and experience for the money.
Breakfast was good, spa was alright,
The hotel would be nice if it had a refurbish. The carpets in the hall ways and bedrooms was nasty.
Close to Bicester Village
The room furnishing needed updating. The coffee was very weak not very nice quality.
Location, all staff was amazing
Very comfortable and spacious. Good food and pool facilities
Location, the room was a large size. Good amenities.
I booked thinking I would have adults-only access to the spa but I should have read the reviews, as only on check in was I told the main hours to use the spa and pool (4-6pm and 8-10am) were taken up by children’s swimming classes! When you can only check in after 3pm when can you use the pool and spa AND book in for a dinner? Such a shame.
Kication and spa facilities
No safety deposit box in room
Very enjoyable, excellent room with ground floor terrace, the spa was excellent with 6am opening was great 😃 breakfast and dinner very relaxing and good location, would return here.
Nothing
If did not look like the pictures on booking.con It was not clean The carpets were so old and dirty No natural daylight The furniture was old and dark

Beautiful location, everything was perfect. Facilities were spot on!
Location and facility
The breakfast lady is a bit not friendly
Getting a bit tired First day breakfast service was terrible but next morning a lot better
Perfect location for Bicester Village shopping
Clean, comfortable and good breakfast
Charged £25 to use the gym if you book with Booking.com!! If you book with them directly then they don’t charge you for the gym.
Meal in the bar
Room was disabled, no plug for sink and sink for wheelchairs (too low), shower flooded bathroom, furnishings in bedroom dirty, staff had no spare plugs for sink.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
Needed some updating
Nice location
Lacked welcoming lounge and restaurant areas. Definitely function over aesthetic. Had dinner in Sports bar area which is very much like golf club members bar, however, it was full of little flies. We moved table three times to try to get away from them, so this really spoilt what should have been a relaxing meal, this definitely needs addressing. Not sure if it was caused by the hot weather but still not acceptable.
Good facilities & excellent food. Very friendly staff.
Starting to look a bit worn in places, including damage and accumulation of mould/dirt in bathroom & pool changing areas.
The staff were incredibly warm and friendly. I especially want to mention Tracey in Housekeeping for sorting out our beds from double to twin. She was so helpful. Lovely Layla who served us breakfast was like a ray of sunshine and greeted everyone with a warm smile and was so helpful.
I cannot think of anything that we didn't like. It was a really lovely experience.
Very clean, lovely staff and super spa! The bar and restaurant had a lovely view. Food was great!
The carpets were heavily marked with stains in the corridors to the bedrooms. The rooms looked a little tired, but were very comfortable.
Facilities and breakfast
Everything
The room size and Spa facilities
The breakfast, gas was out of order in the kitchen and coffee wasn't ready i had to wait for coffee to be replaced, if there is one thing that should be kept topped up its the coffee pot for breakfast.
The setting and scenery
Unfortunately the food let it down. Portion size was small, partner had katsu curry bit tasteless, I had fish and chips bit oily. Breakfast the next day, issues with gas so limited menu which we wasn’t shown, could do more for the breakfast bar, bins for the cereal boxes, being more attentive for the coffee jugs, tidying up
Comfortable for an overnight stop off. Breakfast was good.
Unfortunately, when checking out we found that our room had been charged for an extra 2 meals and 2 drinks which we had not had. The lesson is to always check your receipt before leaving. The staff were very apologetic and assured me that I would be refunded for this. I asked them confirm this in an email to me before I left as they couldn’t issue it at that point as it has to go through the finance department. I did receive the email. I now await the refund.
Staff were nice
Room very out dated and broken draw with no knob dirty carpets no safe
The variety of available facilities
Nice location
Really dated, expensive for what it is
Clean comfortable room.
There are no facilities for children under 12. Extra charges for making up a sofa in an advertised 'sleeps 4 room'.
Everything.. see review..

Everything, the Gym was great and well fitted out only thing would of been better the Aircon was On in the next room But not in gym ?? The meals were very good and staff very helpful. Lovely Hotel great location too. Loved stay.

Staff attentive. Rooms spacious Sight was modern and well.equipes
Breakfast was average. A la carte breakfast was missing things I ordered. Would be better off as a buffet
Great location, really relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff who were very welcoming. Had food from the bar menu and breakfast, both were delicious.
Nothing
I had a fantastic stay at Bicester Golf and Spa Hotel. The hotel itself is excellent, with great facilities and a welcoming atmosphere throughout. The room was spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean, and well-appointed, making for a very relaxing stay. What really stood out was the exceptional service from the staff. Everyone was friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful, always willing to go the extra mile to ensure guests had everything they needed. Overall, a wonderful experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend Bicester Golf and Spa Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I look forward to returning in the future.
Wish I had booked a longer stay
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and were thoroughly impressed by the high standard of the accommodation. First and foremost, the room was fantastic—luxurious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with excellent air conditioning. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a perfect night's sleep. We also loved the beautiful, well-maintained garden and the hotel restaurant, which offers a lovely view over the grounds while you enjoy your meal, which was very good. Another huge plus was the free on-site parking and the superb, modern gym, which exceeded our expectations. The only slight downside was that the swimming pool felt a bit dated. Additionally, the jacuzzi was temporarily out of order during our visit. However, the hotel management handled this perfectly: they warned us about the closure well before our arrival and even offered us the option to rebook our stay, which we highly appreciated. Overall, it’s a high-standard hotel with great amenities, beautiful surroundings, and excellent customer service. We would definitely stay here again!
Beautiful setting , lovely spa , excellent breakfast.
Nothing
Location, gym, spa
Rooms a little dated and the odd thing not working, light out on bathroom, coffee machine temperamental. Either of the Steam rooms not in use and jacuzzi out of order for the three days we we there.
Location was good. Staff tried very hard with limited resources.
Jacuzzi and steam room closed. Breakfast Buffet choice was poor and cooked breakfast was missing items on second day. Coffee machine for breakfast broken. No plug sockets next to bed for medical equipment. Dog poo bag left on walkway for over 24 hours.
Perfect location fir Bicester villa de and lovely spa facilities
Rooms were a little tired.
Good location and pretty
Very outdated Charged extra £40 at check-1in for my pet even though I said I was travelling with a bet in my booking which was then non refundable.
Good location and quiet surroundings
The hotel feels tired and in need of a refit. Part of the spa was broken down and not available. Mould in the seals around the bath. No plug in the bath (and no spare plug supplied when asked) so I had to improvise and make a seal using a deodrant + plastic bag to be able to use the bath!
Easy to find, good beds, aircon
Slow service at breakfast, staff working hard but too few of them for the number of diners.
The location and facilities
Lack of information in rooms re local amenities. Staff were really helpful but some information given was always accurate.
Spacious room, friendly staff.
Hotel was a bit grubby and warm in places. Breakfast had a couple of issues.
The room was nice and clean
for breakfast we asked for the vegetarian option and they gave us the breakfast with a meaty sausage !!!!! My wife had a manicure but she dis expect to have it so badly done when i booked the spa for wife via the hotel the questionare aske if i wanted a male or female for the massage i asked for a female and on the day it was a male !!!! the person giving the masaage was far to strong and the experience was not relaxing at all
الرسبشن غير متعاونين ابداً
الغرفة فيها حشرات والتلفون اللي بالغرفه مايشتغل الممرات مافيها كميرات
Excellent location for Bicester village shopping. Great for a weekend away. I will definitely be back.
Jacuzzi was not working but was warned before we arrived, nit picking really great hotel.
Very nice hotel.

Bed’s comfortable, and quiet. Good gym facilities
Evening meal a little disappointing, but staff were very friendly
It’s local to Bicester shopping but also in the country side
Nothing it’s perfect
The food and staff were amazing. Barbara was very good
Beautiful grounds, lovely rooms, nice bar and restaurant and really great staff. I only stayed one night but would love to stay longer and enjoy the spa next time.
Very little
Bed too small & Too soft it gave me back ache after 1 night. It was a disabled room built for 1 person with a tiny sink/basin at my knee height, meaning I had to kneel down to do something as simple as was my face. The staff were unable to change the room and blamed the booking on the fact we'd booked through Booking.com. The room
