AC Hotel by Marriott Miami Beach

Good afternoon. We stayed at the hotel from the 5th to the 9th. Everything was perfect, but when we got home yesterday, I realized that the shorts I had bought at the "Alo" store on the 7th didn't make it back with us. They were inside the shopping bag along with other purchases. We’ve never had an incident like this before; I’m really upset, as the bag only went from the store to our car. I would like you to check into this internally; we were staying in room 422.

Śniadanie było bardzo dobre jak na standardy lokalne, ale mimo wszystko nie było żadnych warzyw. Co do obsługi mamy bardzo skrajne doświadczenia - były osoby, które niestety wprowadziły nas w błąd co do godziny śniadania w dniu wylotu i rano zostaliśmy bez możliwości zjedzenia śniadania mimo że było opłacone, z kolei inna osoba z obsługi przejęła się tematem i starała się bardzo ten błąd naprawić i ostatecznie zorganizowała nam na szybko tuż przed wyjazdem śniadanie na wynos.

The bed is comfortable and the bathroom was convenient specially the dual shower head function

The staff was rude after we asked for our room to be made and it wasn’t, also housekeeping stole an item I left in the room. Also the hotel is marketed as a 4star hotel when it should be 3 stars really.

Location close to the beach, very nice room, cleanliness, nice and helpful personnel, bike rental included.

I had an issue with payment and deposit, and I had no email no write. I needed to call the hotel directly and it took me a few calls for them to help me out.

La habitación es muy cómoda y luminosa Todo estuvo muy bien ,destaco el personal , y sobre todo a Alejandro en el front desk. Todos han sido super amables. Atendiero todas nuestras necesidades. Excelente personal en todo el hotel, un placer la atención al cliente.

Mejoraría sólo la oferta del desayuno, lo haría mas variado y completo. Incluiría el café de Starbucks en el precio que ya se paga por el desayuno. Muy tranquilo para desayunar.

- L'emplacement de l'hôtel, très proche de la mer et des transports en commun - La chambre, bien équipée, avev vue sur mer et son grand balcon - L'aimabilité du personnel (à la réception comme au bar) - Le personnel de ménage très efficace - La communication préalable avec le staff - La procédure rapide du check in (en plus, ils m'ont laissé rentrer en avance dans ma chambre quand je suis arrivé tôt) - Les chauffeurs et VTC peuvent se garer facilement devant l'hôtel

- La piscine très petite et peu profonde dans laquelle on ne peut pas véritablement nager si vous êtes un adulte - Des frais supplémentaires (destination fees) appliquées lors du check out dont nous n'avions pas connaissance lors de la réservation ici sur Booking, que l'établissement devrait clairement indiquer sur sa page de réservation par souci de transparence avec le consommateur. En Europe, ce type de pratique n'est pas autorisé. - Dommage qu'il n'y ait qu'un seul transat disponible sur le balcon lorsque nous sommes deux occupants

Hotel super bem localizado, bem do lado a praia. O Alejandro gerente é muito cuidadoso com o atendimento aos hospedes.

Tutto, accoglienza da parte dello staff!!! Colazione misera,pulizia della camera scadente per essere un 4 stelle. Sopratutto richiedono 25€ a persone al di fuori del prezzo che blocchi con Booking per una politica loro. Perciò alla fine il soggiorno costa molto in più e non vale la pena sceglierlo. Meglio pagare cifre più alte ma consapevoli, così è un imbroglio!!

Not good. American airlines gave me a voucher for this hotel after canceling my flight. After waiting for more than an hour to get the keys I went to bed and woke up with bug bites all over my body. Awful.

Location and clean rooms make the hotel is ideal a great place to stay. Plus staff members are super attentive and friendly. Special shout out to Alejandro Remo and Christopher Ferreira at the front desk who make the experience all the more awesome.

Proximity to beech, clean and spacious rooms. Staff were very helpful.

I had booked this Hotel for 4 nights. The first day I was there I tripped on a crack in the sidewalk about a mile away and fell and broke my hip. Was taken by ambulance to Mt Sinai medical center and had a full hip replacement the next day. I called after the surgery let them know what happed to me, and that I had not been there for 3 nights, I stayed one, and could I get another night or 2 so I could rest up before flying home, at free or half off or more points, any sort of compensation for what I spent. I was told in no uncertain terms” no” we are here to make money. No I am sorry that happened. Nothing. THEY DO NOT GIVE a S*** about anyone that stays there. Do not stay there. There many hotels with friendlier staffs who care about customer service.

Fantastic stay! Right in the heart of mid Miami Beach, just two blocks from the beach. It's close to everything, yet the area feels relaxed and not overly crowded. The hotel offers great amenities, including a pool, complimentary bikes, and free beach towels and chairs, which made our beach days so easy. The staff were exceptional. Everyone was welcoming and helpful, and a special thanks to Alejandro, who made sure our stay was seamless from start to finish. There’s also a Starbucks and several great restaurants just around the corner, including an excellent Argentine café. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Nous avons réservé pour 4 adultes avec petit déjeuner inclus. Cependant, l’hôtel nous indique que le petit déjeuner est pour 2 adultes et 2 enfants, il n’y avait donc que 2 petits déjeuners pour deux personnes qui étaient inclus dans le prix. Il fallait rajouter en plus pour les 2 autres personnes qui étaient considérées comme des enfants. Ils nous ont fait un geste en offrant un petit déjeuner sur 2. Nous avons contacté Booking mais pas de réponse.

Property was immaculate beyond my expectation of a nice hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I will definitely book again with the same hotel for future visit to Miami.

The service was excellent! The staff was very friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The check-in experience was smooth and very welcoming. Throughout our stay, the team truly seemed to anticipate our needs before we even asked, which made us feel very comfortable and well taken care of. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well organized. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Destacamos la atención del personal de recepción, Alejandro y Gustavo, y la excelente atención brindada en el servicio de barra y desayuno por Jennifer, Eduardo y Brian. También nos gustó mucho la pileta y los servicios ofrecidos. El desayuno buffet fue muy completo y de excelente calidad. Además, la habitación era súper cómoda, espaciosa y confortable. La ubicación también es excelente, cerca de varios restaurantes y de paradas de autobús para recorrer la ciudad cómodamente.

No hubo nada que no me haya gustavo, si le sumaria un adicional es que el hotel tenga una balanza para valigas , ya que es un destino donde se compra mucho y en generalmente las valijas son de peso considerable.

Very nice, clean hotel. Front desk staff has been super friendly and helpful. Drew and Nathan (and another female) spent a lot of time with me recommending restaurants and giving travel tips. Not a lot of activity in the neighborhood, but the pool and beach access is great. And we drove up and down Collins on free MB trolley with stops right outside. Would stay here next time!

City hotel, bez duszy i pomocnej atmosfery,dolar tu rządzi,to nie Europa, tylko surowa Ameryka.Mam niezbyt dobre wrażenia. Śniadania skromne, jeśli już nie płatne, obsługa niby miła, ale tak na prawdę obojętna na drugiego człowieka.

The location of the hotel. Very close to the beach, starbucks and supermarket. The hotel provides complementary beach towels and sun loungers but the umbrella costs 35$.

I had booked a room with a balcony but when I checked in I was provided a room with a common terrace where I could have no privacy as other guests could also use it. And besides I had to keep my curtains closed all the time so other people could not see me inside the room. I complained at the reception the same day trying to change my room but the issue was resolved only the next day at 1 pm. The hotel is a bit outdated and that’s why the prices are lower compared to other hotels in the neighborhood.

Availability of free bikes to take an nice ride in the morning and the view from the rooftop pool.

The guys from the valet parking are amazing. Servando and Efrain are the best. 10/10

I made the reservation through Booking.com with prepayment, the accommodation charged US$366.52 to my credit card and did not send the receipt and does not respond to my messages requesting a refund.

Ein seltsamer Geruch im Zimmer und Flur. Schirme kostenpflichtig. Obwohl wir zu dritt im Zimmer waren und für 3 Personen bezahlt haben nur 2 Liegen am Strand kostenlos.

Good location and good service. Not a typical Marriott. Rooms have a spartan feel. Rooftop pool area was nice. Only problem was the shower. It had been painted improperly. I suspect someone used latex paint on the bottom of the shower! The paint was peeling and you would get it stuck to your feet.

Big shout out to Ali and Logan manning the lounge chairs and umbrellas at the beach straight out from the AC. They took such great care of us, making us feel so welcome - thank you guys 🙌 Also want to recognize Alenjandro and Haley at check in who were very friendly, welcoming us and helping overcome a room reservation issue when the hotel was at capacity. We really appreciate it!! You’ve got a great staff, thanks for making our stay so enjoyable :)

We traveled to Miami Beach for a wedding in early March (2026) and while we weren't part of a secured room block, per se, the bulk of the out of town guests stayed at this hotel. I am therefore not alone when I state that this was one of the WORST hotel experience's my husband and I have ever had in our 49 years of extensive business and vacation travel around the world. The hotel lacks basic amenities like a closet or any drawers. The TV connection was 'out' more than it was working, the A/C was non-existent in the hallways which were dank and dirty (and in our room), the housekeeping was available only upon request but not disclosed to guests upon check-in. While I tried to resolve this situation by initially speaking to the hotel clerk - a pleasant young woman but one who lacked any decision making authority and also by contacting the Operations Manager of the property - who never responded to my two emails, I find myself without a satisfactory resolution. My hope is that any traveler seriously consider another hotel option when visiting Miami Beach. This hotel does not live up to the Marriott 'brand' standards that I've come to know.

I've stayed here multiple times, and every time each staff member makes it amazing! Alejandro at the front desk made sure I had a room ready upon arrival, and Juan at the inside bar, Gin and Collins, makes great drinks and is enthusiastic about making sure guests have an excellent experience. The location is perfect-steps from Edition and Faena and anywhere else is a quick ride away. The front desk is always accommodating for any additional requests, such as extra towels from housekeeping. I highly recommend for anyone looking for great service and value on a Miami Beach vacation!

We spent the entirety of our Sunday on the beach - the weather was beautiful and the water was nice and warm. Samuel took the best care of us. He had great energy, checked in on us from time to time, and was very accommodating!

The AC Hotel was awesome for visiting South Beach! Its position to the Board Walk and Ocean was terrific and the staff were second to none, the shining store was Alejandro! He was a rock star!

Not good. American "Worst In America" Airlines stranded us in Miami and gave us a voucher for this place. All the other hotel shuttles went by three times and not a single glimpse of the AC shuttle. I called the front desk...the idiot working there put me on hold and forget for 7 minutes...twice. On the third time, I yelled "don't put me on hold...where is the shuttle?" She babbled something about it being available only by request...and then here comes the shuttle. The driver was surly and unhelpful. The place is trying to be a cute Euro boutique. Interiors are gorgeous. Service...not so much. Other transit hotels have free breakfast...not this place! They want $21 for what looks like a carefully laid out gourmet cookie store. Carbs, carbs, fat, sugar. No eggs to be seen. This will be my last stay unless forced.

Despite holding a guaranteed, prepaid reservation from January 1 to January 7, 2026, I was denied accommodation upon arrival on the morning of January 2nd. I was informed that my booking had been cancelled as a “no-show,” even though: • the reservation was guaranteed with a credit card • I intentionally booked and paid for January 1st • I did not cancel the reservation • I received no cancellation notice The hotel was allegedly fully booked and refused to offer any alternative solution. What is particularly concerning is the conduct of the front desk staff. The receptionist handling my case was completely indifferent, showed no interest in resolving the situation, and appeared unconcerned that we were left without accommodation. No assistance, alternatives, or empathy were offered. Being denied accommodation despite a valid reservation — and then being met with such disinterest — is not acceptable and does not reflect the standards associated with the Marriott brand.

I am writing this to warn any business traveler considering this hotel. I stayed for 5 nights (Feb 1st - Feb 6th) for a business trip. My stay was 100% PREPAID by my company before my arrival. Despite this, the front desk placed two massive authorization holds on my personal credit card: one for $2,800 and another for $500. This is a total of $3,300 blocked for a stay that was already paid for! It has been days since I checked out, and these funds are still 'pending,' effectively freezing my credit limit and causing significant financial distress. This is not just a standard 'incidental deposit'; this is gross negligence and a total lack of respect for the guest’s financial security. If you are a business traveler, BEWARE: they will drain your credit card limit regardless of your prepaid status. I am still waiting for a manual release of these funds. Absolutely unprofessional. I will be reporting this to Marriott Corporate and ensuring my company never books this property again.

This is a full on motel. The lobby smells like cigarettes and the rooms are so beat up and disgusting they might as well have gotten the furniture from the local DMV. The staff is rude and they will refuse to let you speak to a manager and they hang up on you when you call. For $600 a night you can stay at a nicer place and not whatever this Marriott is disguising itself as.
