Brocco On The Park Boutique Hotel

The room, the reception area and restaurant, the very friendly staff, the welcome, the delicious cake in our room, the welcome glass of fizz and our amazing breakfast were all wonderful.

There was a warm welcome, lots of nice small details like homemade biscuits and fresh milk in the room .

Staff was extremely helpful and very kind.

Cosy feel with friendly and receptive staff. Cute touches like complimentary treats daily like banana bread bites.

Unfortunately the first morning we did not have any hot water. We communicated this to the staff later who checked the boiler but we didnt have this problem again.

Great boutique room, comfortable bed. Lovely bar area, great staff. Very tasteful twinkle lighting. Pricey but worth it for an indulgent treat.

Breakfast was over cooked and tasted deep fried, no choice for brown toast only sourdough. Granola and berries looked a far nicer choice…

The hotel is so cute and cosy and definitely feels very luxurious.

The mattress could’ve been slightly more comfortable with a topper as it was a little solid.

Gorgeous room, friendly staff, parking on-site, very big bathroom with lovely toiletries, incredibly comfy bed and special extra touches (complimentary homemade caramel shortbread on arrival!).

The room was very comfortable and the location was great- just on the edge of the park and within easy walking distance of the botanical gardens.

The only thing that comes to mind is that I don't think there is a lift.

Bed not very comfortable but I guess ours what you're used to.

The food was great throughout our stay. The staff were lovely, and very welcoming on arrival. It's in a fairly quiet spot away from town, but on a busy road. The room was fine, just a little noisier than some perhaps, as it was on the front of the building adjacent to the road.

The outdoor areas weren't great, but they are limited for space.

Nice welcome when we arrived. Everything was clean. Toiletries were nice. Nice to have complimentary cake in the room.

Parking is a nightmare. There's space for 3 vehicles. There's an overflow carpark up the road which is awkward to drive into and you wouldn't want to leave your car there overnight so we had to park in the permit holders area and get up early to move it. Breakfast was included with our booking, however we were charged on top for an extra coffee and toast! We had a small room which was nice enough but instead of thinking about functionality, in the corner was a hanging egg chair. So, no where to put your suitcase but if you fancied swinging on a chair, you'd be ok.

Friendly staff I would return but not in summer if the aircon isn't fixed.

Aircon didn't work - came on but didn't cool, even with correct cooling settings. Quite a small room and which was too hot. Wifi didnt work - connected but no internet

Only one thing it was a very hot room and whilst we had a fan and air con it did not cool sufficiently. The air con was set to 18 degree’s which was not low enough to cool down the room.

Our second stay at Brocco. Lovely boutique hotel with delightful rooms. Comfy bed, very decent bathroom, beautifully decorated. The staff are extremely nice and friendly. Thoroughly recommend.

Wonderful staff and service. Spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed and bedding. Great sized room with lovely decor and ensuite. Excellent location and the attached restaurant is really handy for a tasty breakfast. The daily baked treats left on our room were a nice touch.

Only suggestions would be to have the fridge in our room rather than the hall and a room safe. .

This hotel is really lovely. The room and en-suite were very comfortable and beautifully furnished with lots of small thoughtful touches. The breakfast was great and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We will be back!

Room was lovely (Robin Hollow I think). Breakfast very good. Friendly staff, nothing too much trouble. Comfortable bed, immaculately clean. Large bathroom. We would stay again if not travelling with our dog as dogs not accepted.

Reception on arrival. No-one to meet or greet. Staff seemed sparse. No parking available. Room prices quite steep. Overall though, we had a very good experience.

Excellent breakfast and evening meal. Free bar drink excellent idea.

Great location, close to the park, but also next to the roundabout and traffic noise

The air con seemed to be on but didn’t cool the room so really needed ear plugs. It was so hot in my room and the air con didn’t work so I tried to sleep with the windows open. The great location means the traffic noise is loud.

Air con was broken in my room, so the temperature in my room was awful, and with being on the front of the hotel there was too much road noise to sleep with the windows open, all equalled a terrible nights sleep.

The whole experience was exceptional. From the minute we arrived the staff were very welcoming and helped us out and when we left, again, the staff were fantastic. The room and facilities were beautiful and we loved every minute of our stay. We would definitely return and recommend to friends and family!

There was no instant coffee in the room… not a big issue at all but I’m not keen on strong coffee. The tea was perfect though!

We had a wonderful stay here between Christmas and New Year's whilst in town for a wedding. The staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating. Loved the homemade cakes in our room and the food in the restaurant was fabulous. Will definitely return!

The location was great. In a lovely part of Sheffield with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. The hotel itself was lovely. Our room was great with lots of nice touches like luxury toiletries, bathrobes and homemade cake. The staff at the hotel were also great… really friendly .

There was nothing I did not like.

Everything was perfect from start to finish. Added all the extras I asked for, made everything perfect for my partners birthday! Couldn’t have asked for more. Staff were friendly, showed us to our room and made sure we were happy with everything before she left and accommodated my partners meal needs, brought meals up to the room with a friendly face! Breakfast was an absolute delight!

It was lovely that they brought oat milk and a vegan mince pie for my wife. The reception area was cosy for a drink in the evening. Bed was comfortable.
