Dre Broeders Apartments Juan Dolio

The property is super clean. It’s situated right along the beach. 3-5 minute walk. Grocery stores, colmados, food kiosks and lots of restaurants and bars nearby. It’s in a gated area and has easy access for those with keys at any hour. Safe area and the apartment has a great kitchen, TV, sofa bed, black out curtains, A/C, strong WiFi, and large bathroom with hot water.

There was nothing negative about this property.

1. Dre Broeders provides a very safe, small home away from home with everything the traveler could need, even including a huge bottle of drinking water! 2. The security is very good: burglar bars, safe. 3. Able to arrange transport with owner to bus station. 4. The owner was very conscientious & ready to help with anything. 5. I found all the average people of JD to be very friendly, courteous & helpful. 6. Great Internet that always worked

I do not have any complaint about the property. I did not like Juan Dolio beach or area - I do not think it is worth going to. The property is very close to beaches but 1. the Juan Dolio beach is pretty bad if you want to enjoy the water: rocky, has small but strong waves & current, unsafe for swimming, snorkeling or surfing. If you just want to tan, drink & party - JD beach is the place for ypu! 2. there was a lot of noisy, dusty construction on beach road, so much so got so bad that it completely blocked all movement, no cars, motorcycles, peoples could not walk by or access the beaches in the main area, anyway! I felt very sorry for the hotels, restaurants and businesses. 3. Juan Dolio is supposed to be an ideal spot to get to Isla Catalina. Coincidentally, all 6 tour excursions attempted either in Juan Dolio or online, canceled booking reservations. 4. public transportation to arrive to JD is a bit complicated especially if you have luggage 5. the town is spread out; difficult to find everything needed just by walking but cheap "motoconcha" motorcycle transport is everywhere

The location is great, very safe and quiet, I like the fact that I could see my car from the window to check on it. Owner was kind to show all the details during check in with patience. Very comfy cozy and with this energy that mixed the feelings like going back in time... I was able to disconnect and rest well.

Everything I have to say from this appartment fall on the positive side: Courtesy: From the booking to the check-in, Andre the owner took very close attention to our satisfaction as guests. He contacted us prior to our arrival to confirm our needs and made sure we were lodged in a quiet and peaceful room. He sent us the location and waited for us at the entrance at our arrival to welcome us. The host also took time to make a tour of the room to explain the functioning of every appliance and key settings. Equipment: The studio we rented were perfectly furnished, with all the little things someone would wish to find when travelling away from home: matches, oven mitts, dishwashing soap, hand towel, plates, cups, cutlery and cooking pots. Andre even gracefully included a 5 gallons bottle purified water in the room package. Many higher budget hotel suites we stayed in before don't offer those. I have to say the building looks very old but running water, climatization, electricity and Wi-Fi worked perfectly well at the time we stayed. Location: The apartment complex has the advantage to be located between 2 important streets. The main entrance is on the autoroute were you can find shops and pharmacy. The other side is on Camino de la playa at exactly 2 minutes walk to the wonderful beach Juan Dolio. Honesty: The suite we were given was exactly as shown in the pictures displayed on the website we used to make the reservation. It was a very good experience and are sure we will definitely stay here again anytime we are back in Juan Dolio!

This property is disgusting is not what you see in pictures management is rude.. I do not know recommend this place to any one.

Pictures on the site are the next-door building. The apartment is small, cheap and fragile double bed, no internet and hot water on the last 2 days. Good AC.

Der beste Deal welchen ich in Juan Dolio finden konnte! Unterkunftgeber ist (etwa zu) sehr um Kommunikation bemüht, nach Buchung sind gleich mehrere lange Mails eingetroffen sodass ich übersah, zurückzuschreiben und mitzuteilen, dass ich nicht vom Flughafen abgeholt werden muss sondern mit dem Bus komme (war so nett und hat an der Haltestelle auf mich gewartet). Im 4. Stock war es überraschend ruhig und keine 3min zum Strand. Das Apartment ist mit allem ausgestattet was man zum Kochen braucht und ist günstiger als alles was ich in der Nähe gefunden habe. Aparta hotel eccellente con personale educato e cordiale. L'appartamento per 5 persone era grande, dotato di tutti i confort e con un angolo cottura comodo e accessoriato. La spiaggia è a pochi metri. È adatto anche a lunghi soggiorni. Altamente consigliato.

There was no pool no balcony looking over the beach no 15 restaurants on the grounds no ac but 2 fans it a run down apt building that i believe locals live there. the only free internet you get is sitting in front Andre apt The front has trees and gravel yard the back is a concrete leading out to the street .i got up the next morning wrote down the address went out in the back where the taxi stand was and asked them where is this place because i thought a mistake and they told me this is it i showed them and the owners of 1 of the restaurants down the street what Andre had put on the internet they could not believe it .I really wish i could have put my pictures of the inside of the place on Expedia but i cant for some reason .I really wished Expedia could send someone down there and break off this contract the whole place is a mess Andre you and you wife seem like nice people the grounds guy is cool but speak the truth .

I stayed 5 nights for semana santa week .This apartment is 3 minutes walk from Juan Dolio beach .It has cold A.C ,hot water , stove ,cable TV ,comfortabel bed .Many cafes resturant bars colmados and a supermercados in the area .The owner Andres was very courteous and professional although we checked in very late (11.30pm) and checked out very early (5am). One hour away from La Romana 15 minutes from Boca Chica maybe 25 minutes from Santo Domingo clubs and discos. I highly recommend Dre Broerders Apartments .
