Knights Inn Colonial Fireside Inn

Staff allowed an early check-in and a delayed check-out to suit my schedule. This was very much appreciated.

Fireplace

This place was great. Both the staff and the room where exceptional!

Great place, well maintained, updated nicely Owner very friendly even came out this morning to see if my stay was good, offer me apples and to say goodbye. What could be better?

Although it was an older motel you could see that the owner had gone to great lengths to update it and I appreciate that.Very nice man!The price was also a great deal.

It was clean. No breakfast.

Room was a little too small for two beds.

Very clean, was up graded to larger room at no extra charge.

I suggested to owner that extra lights would be nice in the back area. Packing in the early morning it was dark. We could not find the exterior light switches. Maybe some solar lights on the deck area especially by the steps, we couldn’t see in the dark. ALSO, please warn people about the pet deposit, we don’t mind, but need to know for banking purposes.

Safe parking

Le propriétaire est vraiment très sympathique et s’occupe de ses clients avec attention.

L’endroit était très propre mais il y avait des taches sur les draps.

Welcoming arrival, very clean motel room, queen size bed very comfortable, parking right in front of the door.

The bathroom door needs adjusting, it didn’t shut properly.

Para pasar una noche, está muy bien

Owner/manager very friendly and responsive.

Good value for the money. Staff were friendly!

I found the beds to hard that was it.

Bon rapport qualité prix prix et propreté

Air clim bruyant

Good value for money. Comfortable bed, hot water for the shower. Coffee in room, frig, microwave.

Nothing not to like.

Private enterance to my room.

There were some dead bugs. There is a $200 cash deposit but they only give you $180 back and make up some BS excuse for it. This is after the room was already paid for. Other then that it was a great stay. The manager/ owner was super friendly.

Nothing… not even tea or coffee

There is no Internet. And therefore no phone. Kind of septic odour in the bathroom came and went No shampoo, no hairdryer, no shower cap. room AC was so loud we had to turn it off.

staff helpful and respectful

Le propriétaire était vraiment attentionné. Il a répondu à tous nos besoins et même plus. On s'est sentis comme chez un ami. L'espace extérieur pour se rassembler et relaxer est très apprécié.

Room was quite up to date, clean

Bathroom door needs a coat of paint. Otherwise it was 👍

The room we stayed in was very cozy and comfortable, the gentlemen whom i think was the owner was very kind and friendly, made our stay feel welcoming ☺️

There wasn't anything we didn't like

L'homme a l'accueil tellement gentil!! Rapport qualité prix exceptionnel

Rien tout etait parfait

The hotel boasts a great location, reasonable prices, and friendly front desk staff. The rooms are spacious, bright, and clean. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

The room was spacious and well furnished with a very comfortable bed. The staff was friendly and very accommodating.

The bed was a bit small for two people. Felt smaller than queen size, but very comfortable.

Très bon service

The manager Joshi went out of his way to help us and even offered cold soft drinks and water at no cost to us.

Everyone was incredibly friendly, courteous, and genuinely welcoming. They were always asking if I needed anything and went out of their way to be accommodating throughout my entire stay. On top of the excellent service, the property was incredibly clean, which is always a huge plus for a budget motel. It is rare to find this level of cleanliness and top-notch customer service at this price point. I highly recommend it if you want an affordable, spotless stay where you actually feel valued as a guest!

Very friendly staff, comfortable bed, clean room, well maintained grounds. An overall nice experience.

As with all motels, the room was a little crowded for 2 people and a 50 pound dog.

Soshi(?) was very personable and very friendly. He even gave us a free upgrade with a fireplace!

The property was well kept.

Staff was extremely friendly.

The marble tiles around the jacuzzi were extremely slippery. Just the wrong material to use in there.

Cleanliness, proximity to local amenities, and the customer service.

Nothing! This place is great!

Clean & staff was friendly

Easy to get luggage into the room; good location

Weird smell in the bathroom; needed to open the window; very small room

Very friendly and helpful staff Clean and spacious room

Even though it was clean it still needs a renovation

The room was large, had a nice refrigerator, staff friendly and accommodating.

I had such a positive experience with the people running the hotel. My initial room had a problem and I was immediately upgraded to another one and he was very helpful and kind. The room was huge and the bed was comfortable in the bedding was pleasant. There are a number of upgrades to the room and I could imagine coming back!

Very nice room.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Upgrade to fireplace suite was a lovely surprise- room was spacious, clean and bed was very comfortable. Full size fridge was a treat. Great road trip stop!

Parking at the door. Gas fireplace in the room which helped to give us a little light during the power failure.

A drive away from everything. We had a power failure so the first night we were in the dark. Not the owner’s fault. We could hear footsteps from above us.

The staff is very friendly.

Quiet and clean. Enthusiastic welcome. Very practical and close to shopping and stores about five minutes driving.

NA

Clean room with excellent staff. Perfect overnight stay for a road trip, etc.

Cleanliness,Good for short stay

The property was very clean, comfortable, and conveniently located close to both Pembroke and Petawawa, which made it perfect for our trip. The gazebo and patio furniture were a wonderful addition — the weather was beautiful, and we really enjoyed relaxing outside in the sun. What made the stay truly special was the kindness and hospitality of the owner’s family. They warmly brought us chai and snacks, which was such a thoughtful and heartfelt gesture. It made us feel genuinely welcomed and added a personal touch to the entire experience. Highly recommended!

Bed was comfy.

Two small flat pillows don't give enough head support. A decorative glittery pillow placed as decor on top of the two sleeping pillows should never be placed there. This is not cleaned and is terribly ugly.

Mold all over bathtub and walls . No drain plug for bath, bars of soap must of been run over, in pieces. Never again

Nothing pure shit hole

Friendly management and comfortable bed and pillows

Front desk service was kind, helpful and very professional

Staff was extremely welcoming and friendly.

I have nothing negative to say about my experience!

We loved everything—the friendly service, perfect location, spotless and spacious room, and easy, pet-friendly parking

Honestly, nothing comes to mind—we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The room has two windows which makes airing it easy. The host was very nice. Charge for the two small dogs was $ 30.- which is ok ...

The doona had no cover and was in dire need of a thorough wash. The water in the sink drains poorly. Do one pet charge without differentiating whether there is one or two dogs.

Owner was super kind and welcoming rooms were big and clean

Nothing

Room was clean and acceptable. I had been on the road for over 24 hours and wasn't fussy on the accommodations as long as the room was clean

Microwave didn't work, bed was not a queen as I had booked and was hard. .

Paikan pitäjä oli äärimmäisen mukava. Suosittelen paikkaa.

Very clean, nice bed, big screen TV, full size fridge and lovely fireplace. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

It had an adjoining room and we could hear the next door neighbors very clearly. Unfortunately they like to stay up late. We were in the back so it would have been perfectly quiet if not for them.

Location to local amenities

Limitation of suitable rooms

Everything was great!

I have no complaints 😊

The room was spacious, nice fireplace.

N/a

Clean and comfortable. Large room with fireplace.

Very hospitable welcome. Complimentary snacks a nice touch. Comfortable accommodation with fridge and microwave

Given a fridge and microwave having some cutlery and crockery in the room would be good. However it was happily laid on at reception

A clean, nice place. Very nice owners. The room has everything you need and there were no problems. It’s close to the main road, but it wasn’t loud.

Ottima comoda veloce come posizione

Nulla tutto bene.

We found the staff so very friendly. The room we had was very clean and comfortable with a nice fireplace. We liked having a full size fridge and microwave , which we used both of them.

Actually we really didn't find any problems with the room at all.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Never stayed in motel before. Basic but clean and comfortable. Bed wonderful and newer big tub for hot soak. Owner very kind and thoughtful.

It was large the bed was comfy and the heating cooling system worked well.

Nothing negative to say
