Aryatara Kathmandu Hotel

We booked family deluxe room but was offered small twin room at first until we questioned this as we were booked for 4 nights- then shown to the larger room. Staff very friendly and attentive. Room clean with bottled water daily but needed to ask for toilet paper. Breakfast was included in our room booking and buffet provided was sufficient for our needed with excellent coffee. we had dinner at the hotel x 2 which was reasonably priced and tasty. Location was excellent.

Khách sạn có hỗ trợ xe taxi đi 1 chiều trong thành phố, tới điểm tôi mong muốn.

I can't imagine a better location. Peace and quiet at the same time! The staff is wonderful. Make sure your stay is successful. A cordial greeting to our two wonderful drivers. We love you. We greet the manager and the owner as well as all the kitchen facilities and service. You have written yourself into our hearts

The personal is so nice and helpful, and they helped us with everything that we needed. Here including help with laundry, late check-out, airport shuffle and more. The breakfast was very good, and we also tested the restaurant for dinner, which served the best food we had eaten in Kathmandu so far. Would highly recommend testing eating dinner there. When we checked out they had a small ceremony for us which was very nice, and we felt very appreciated and safe at the hotel.

The hotel had a very good location, close to shops and restaurants. The personnel were very kind and welcoming, and helped us with everything, including baggage storage, laundry service etc. We slept in a 3-bed room, which was clean and satisfied our needs perfectly. Outside the room a cozy outdoor area was available, and other parts of the hotel was also very nice. The breakfast in the morning was simple, but the taste was very good.

Initially, we had only booked for one day, thinking we might change hotels the next day, but as soon as we entered, it felt like home, and we decided to stay longer. The staff were very helpful. The hotel is smart , a good central location. The room was great. Very good value for the price. I had been travelling through Nepal on dusty buses and staying in very basic tea houses, so the hotel and room were a very welcome experience.

The hotel is situated at the back of a side street, so you are away from the noise and bustle of Thamel, but it is only a short walk to the busy shopping area and restaurants. The staff (especially the manager) are very friendly, informative and helpful. There was a good selection of different foods for breakfast. The beautiful tiles, pictures and prayer flags add to it's charm.

Welcoming Staff, neat and clean rooms, very near to tourist attractions

We loved Mega and all the staff, they were exceptional and couldn't have asked for better quality. It was ver clean, and comfy. Summan the driver was wonderful, fantastic driver, all the dining room staff were always there for us whatever we needed. It was like one big family. We have travelled all over the world and the Napelese were we considered the kind and helpful friendly people. Nepal... never ending peace and love ❤️

The breakfast was good and offered a variety of choices. The location was fantastic ... tucked away down a quiet road but within a few minutes walk of shops and restaurants. The receptionist (Bhavana) and manager (Mega) were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

We felt very comfortable here from the moment we arrived. All of the staff are really nice, and especially the manager who is kind to us everyday. The breakfast is something we look forward to and always has something new; I discovered my love for French toast here. The rooms are a good size, with tv, kettle and quality aircon. I will definitely stay here again.

A sparking clean space with attentive staff! The location is quiet but a convenient walk to a busier zone. Also a quick walk to the movie theatre if you fancy an evening show! Great breakfast.

The hotel served an excellent breakfast selection including various delicious Nepali dishes! The property was very clean and we felt very welcomed. The whole staff was incredibly friendly. We were also offered a guided tour to Nagarkot and two UNESCO sites for a very fair price and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Would highly recommend for all types of travellers.

The staff were absolutely lovely. Everyone was helpful and personable. It's a lot of stairs if you're on one of the higher floors, and we didn't have spoons for the tea but these are our only small complaints. The breakfast is nice, it's in a good location and everything about the stay was great.

Overall it was great

Spacious room. Nice bathroom. We couldnt stay for breakfast but Mr Raj, the best and very kind receptionist in Kathmandu, prepared us some for the taxi drive to the airport. Thank you, Mr Raj!

The hotel is located in a strategic area of Thamel, yet it is also in a quiet area at the same time, making it a perfect choice. All the staff are very welcoming and helpful, and the room is very clean with well-functioning wifi

Lovely room and really nice, welcoming staff lovely food and seating areas it also felt like home the Wi-Fi was also very quick and good and that it’s located in a good area for people who need to buy hiking gear and close to the airport the room is also cosy and comfortable overall we really enjoyed the stay and would recommend it.

The location was perfect; next to Thamel, but very quiet. The staff was super friendly and the food really good. We left our luggage while trekking and everything was very well taken care off. The rooms were good and definitely worth the price.

Some parts of the hotel were a bit outdated, but we could see that they were working on that e.g. painting the staircase.

Nice hotel in a nice area

The staff were wonderful!! We were looked after so well, and nothing was too much trouble for them. The manager Megha booked tours and activities for us, and Babu looked after us in the restaurant. It was a wonderful stay, and the quiet location in Thamel was perfect! Breakfast was great, lots of options, including freshly cooked cheese omelette!

Fantastic stay, very comfortable room, HOT shower, quiet location and close to all that Thamel offers. Definitely would stay again.

Stayed for a night in Room 407. Had arranged a pickup from the airport via the hotel and while the pickup was not seen at the airport, after contacting the hotel manager I got the pickup done. Check in was very smooth and note that there is no elevator in the hotel. My room was on 3rd level. Room was very clean & spacious and looked exactly like in the pics. Brand new aircon in the room and a very spacious bath with hot water.

I had a wonderful stay at Aryatara Kathmandu Hotel. The food was fresh, and I especially appreciated the friendly staff who ensured everything was well stocked and that guests were comfortable.

Breakfast sevice is the best. Overall hotel is best for everything. Only we have a problem with weak wifi I rate this this hotel 9 star out of 10

Lovely staff. End of the quiet street. Clean functional rooms. The staff is very helpful and gracious.

Not a dislike, just a note to travelers. It's an older hotel. The first room we got was facing the back of the property with a dirty pool and construction. A worker started painting the windows whoke we were in the room. (The acetone permiated inside, the hotel changed our room without any fuss and was gracious about it)
