Provider-sourced guest reviews.
The free breakfast was yummy,. The staff was very warm and professional. Richard at the front desk treated us like family always kind, concerned, and genuine. Everyone who we we encounter working at the Hyatt House Downtown was professional and very nice I accidentally left behind items in a dresser drawer while packing to go home. They are looking into returning my items. The location was convenient and walkable to the Aquarium, Coco Cola Museum, Civil Rights Museum ,and restaurants.
As wonderful as the people who worked at the Hyatt House Downtown location are, my only pet peeve was the amount of money parking was. I understand it comes at a premium because of the location but $55.00 daily is high. Our parking attendant was very nice and having our vehicle in a safe location was appreciated but we stayed multiple nights and that truly added up. Other then that we really enjoyed our stay.
Céntrico, limpio, cómodo, desayuno
Parqueo pagado, no estación de café durante el día, no suficientes toallas.
I was roomy
I booked a bedroom with 2 queens for me and my best friend and when we got there I figured everything would be good got to the room it was 1 bed and pull out couch and so then t went to the front and then the guy at the front stated I don’t have any room but then said I do but I have to charge you more I was to tried and I just said what ever but In the first place I should not have been charged.
Breakfast. Location.
Pool.
The staff was friendly and room was clean
The parking situation is not great and you can park across the street for a lot cheaper
Everything was perfect. Hotel was close to the Aquarium and stadium. Employees attentive and helpful. Overall a very nice place to stay when visiting the Aquarium, the Mercedes stadium or just hanging in Atlanta.

Nice locations . Good custom service
They changed my $7.00 for a drink I don't not order to the room .
How spacious the rooms were, the pool the location walking distance to a lot ! All of the staff were amazing! From Mr.Mus and Do the valet staff to Richard the front desk Guy he should be a trainer for all staff! I call him the GM lol! The cleaning staff Mr.B was very nice and helpful with the pool and towels. The breakfast was not very good but the effort was there!
The Breakfast was slightly disappointing. The liquid eggs or (powered eggs) were not appealing or desirable. There were no other meat options (Canadian bacon) no pancakes or waffles the fruit was as fresh as it could be and the potatoes and toast were ok. Boiled eggs were too cold
La ubicación sin duda , en cuanto a la atención ningún problema. Si mejoraría la limpieza que la hicieran si o si todo los días .
Que hicieran la limpieza cada 2 días
Location
I did not get the room that was booked and paid for. Was told I’ll receive a refund but never did. Son had to sleep on the floor
Location
Breakfast was the worst I have ever had at a Hyatt property. Eggs overcooked … limited fresh fruit, ran out of bananas had oranges and apples plus only canned full of preservatives options.
The breakfast was great and my suite was really a dream bachelorette pad
I love the friendly staff and how clean the hotel was. Everything was excellent.
There was nothing I didn't like except on e of the elevators keep going down making it long lines for the other elevator.
The staff was very professional and kind.
The pics on the site are outdated, the pool area is not as pictured. It is more dated and the water is about 80 degrees so it feels like bath water. The valet that is required has a sign that says not responsible for theft or damage but that is the only parking option. Our hotel room overlooked a dilapidated building and homeless encampment right beside where the vehicles are parked. The shower pressure was horrible. Honestly for the price this place is crazy.
Great location and nice staff.
Noisy guests and water pressure was awful.
Absolutely everything! The staff was the best. They were so kind and courteous. The breakfast was great too, best I’ve had in a hotel. The location was wonderful as well!
Only one elevator worked, it made it a lengthy wait to get to our room from the lobby and vise versa.
Staff
Received mandatory valet parking notice after booking. $55 was not listed before booking. Also, the parking was horrible/ lot was full and had to park across the street.
L’emplacement
Le petit déjeuner La chambre était bruyante
It’s clean, family friendly and I loved the breakfast
The valet parking, it’s too expensive
6/10 for our trip to Atlanta. The Hotel is conveniently located in downtown Atlanta; a few minutes walk from the Aquarium/Centennial Park. Many attractions nearby for families or solo travelers; however, this is one of few positives for this Hotel. The overall feel of the hotel is nice, staff are friendly and really tried to do best by the guests; service was 4/5 big kudos to staff for trying to accommodate their guests. The surrounding area can get fairly noisy at night; it is downtown Atlanta so expect loud cars and speakers during sleeping hours. Our room was cleaner than I expected it to be, 11/10. We let our baby crawl around the room and he was barely dirty from the carpet and hard floors. The Hotel itself was fairly clean as well, the pool area was tidy and the breakfast buffet was very good and restaurant area were well kept. Now time for the negatives; This Hotel is poorly maintained and poorly supplied. Our room while it was clean, had major issues with the AC Unit. It is easy to tell that the AC Unit was never properly serviced otherwise it would not need to be drained on a regular basis. Our AC went out twice during our stay and made our room unbearable because of the heat. There was a water leak underneath the sink. Anyone staying 4+ nights would have a terrible time; we weren't offered another room either. The staff ran out of luggage carts so families were forced to stand the in lobby for half an hour sometimes. We also requested a crib for our baby; the play yard was broken and could not be used. We opted to have our baby sleep in the bed with us. The Hotel had one functioning elevator that caused the lobby to get jam packed with guests. Guests were waiting for long period of time for the elevator. Those who didn't want to wait were forced to exit the main lobby via the valet door and across valet to the stairs. Our room was on the 7th floor, I used the stairs more than 5 times during my stay and I still beat the elevator. That's how long the waits were. Lastly, the Hotel has an issue with their Fire Alarm System. The Fire Alarm went off around 8 am on the second day of our stay. According to security that works for the Hotel, this happens every now and then. This is indicative of poor maintenance. I was surprisingly disappointed with this Hyatt.
Customer service was above and beyond. Angela made sure we had everything we needed and comfortable at check in. The room was very well taken care of and really clean Few minutes walk from good food, Centennial Park and more.
Service was excellent location very good, the only inconvenience was only one elevator was working at this time, but overall everything was excellent
Only one elevator is available for the whole building
None
Elevator was broke, people kept piling up to go to their rooms, had to use the stairs daily, food was gone by 8:30, no coffee, pool was full of people too no seats for everyone
Location
Broken Elevator, no public parking
$55 to park overnight is ridiculous. Street parking is cheaper!
No andas el ascensor el desayuno es pésimo
Location
the place was decent and clean
The elevator didn’t work I had to wait outside for nearly an hour due to packed valet the desk clerk was rude when asked about valet issues
Location
Uncomfortable beds, couch, smelled bad, bad breakfast food, bathroom door didn’t lock and one elevator broken, fire alarm went off in the early morning
I booked a 2 queen bedroom and when we got there we were given a king size room with pull out couch and it was a family of 5
Great location if you are attending an event at the stadium.
I spent an hour unpacking and ironing after I arrived then when I was ready to head out I found the safe couldn’t be used as the previous guest had not left it open. When I rang reception to report this I was told that they had a list of rooms which had a faulty safes. Why would you not ask the quest on arrival if they needed to use the safe then allocate them a room with a working safe. Also for a hotel with so called Green credentials why is only basically unusable plastic cutlery provided.
Property was very clean, and the staff was friendly and attentive.
The only thing was the water pressure - could have been a teeny bit stronger.
la limpieza de la habitación - cero

Un mal olor en los pasillos
Excellent location for Mercedes Benz stadium, close to bars, friendly staff, great pool , definitely recommend, would definitely stay again Many thanks.
Nothing
Location is great for activities downtown or going to Mercedes Benz. The condition of the pool was really bad. So cloudy you couldn't see people's feet. Looking back now at other reviews for this hotel it seems like the pool chemistry and cleanliness has been an issue for years. We stayed on the highest floor (7th) and still heard street noise from cars and car stereos late into the night. The windows/walls aren't soundproof enough for that location. The thermostats locked out at 67. If you like to sleep colder, you're out of luck.
Location to stadium
Housekeeping every other day
The staff were very friendly and helpful. All areas of the hotel were very clean (room, lobby bathrooms, commons area, pool, gym). All areas felt very safe. A keycard was required to enter the hotel and to use the elevator up to our room. We were able to walk to most attractions or take a short Uber ride.
Basic hotel breakfast. Good timeframe 6:30-9:30. No rushing necessary.
Great location, clean, friendly staff, we enjoyed our stay.
We didn’t like the sliding door for the bathroom. No lock on the door and there were holes in the door where the locks should have been.
The front desk was so nice and helpful
Nothing really
Good Location. Keeping the Hyatt House expected standards. Close to Millennium Park, and Mercedes Benz Stadium. If Hyatt Member, do Make sure that yiu remind reception at check-in on extended benefits beyond free water bottles, such as room upgrades, parking, late checkout, etc.
We stayed here for 2 nights to watch a FIFA World Cup 2026 match. Everything was great. It's an apartment with a kitchen, everything was clean and tidy. There’re 3 ice machines on some floors. The location is across from the Georgia Aquarium and the Coca-Cola Museum, and 0.7 miles from Mercedes-Benz Stadium. When we stayed, the small pool on the 1st floor wasn’t working due to maintenance. There was no bottled water, beer, or kettle in the room, but there was a coffee maker. Breakfast at the hotel was okay. The place is pretty quiet, and the staff behaved properly. I will definitely stay here again if I have the chance to come back to Atlanta.
It was a place to stay
The parking situation is not very good
Everything was great. Location was walking distance from lots of stuff. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Valet parking only.
Location was just what we needed. Staff was amazing!!!!
Room was uncomfortable
Location was great! Staff was top notch! But the Hotel is outdated. Showers have very low water pressure, TV in room was outdated (not a smart TV). Fridge in the room was hard to close, (door was out of level and had to push the door hard to get it to close.) Breakfast bar didn't come close to standards of other Hyatt Hotels I have stayed at.
The location was convenient and accessible to all the things that we needed to do. I was appreciative that the restaurant and bar were also reasonably priced considering the location.
Bleak. Shabby. One working elevator. Bad neighborhood with a lack of restaurants in lwalking distance. Open your windows and look out on collapsed buildings and homeless tents. Even compared to any chain efficiency hotel, a bad experience. Adding insult to injury when we checked out early- with appropriate notice- charged a cancellation fee. Save yourself the trouble. Holiday Inn Express or Courtyard won’t make you worry about walking outside
Todo
We didn't know wifi was an option. The staff was AMAZING and very helpful. Breakfast was great. Kids enjoyed the pool. I got to use the gym. It was a great experience.
Restaurants in the area was a little expensive. A area map would have been helpful of grocery stores, gas stations, places to eat.
I was in Atlanta for the weekend with family. I am a senior and their elevators were broke had to walk down stairs they had no accommodations for disabled and my remote in my room was broke 😩, very dissatisfied with the service
We stayed here for 10 days, and there were honestly no complaints! The staff and front desk were always helpful whenever we needed them, housekeeping was great, and I felt safe walking around the area.
Great comfort, good breakfast , appreciated all
Nothing
Breakfast was great
Clean room without requesting it
Cherell, Jonquel and Jose were awesome but CHERELL IS A SUPERSTAR. She checked me in early and put me in a great room and took pictures of me while I was leaving out to attend my concert lol. She was my hero. The staff is wonderful though hell and safe and clean. I had a corner suite and I could see all of Atlanta downtown and the aquarium. Also, there was a parade having on the street and I could see it where I was at in my room. The room had a microwave and a stove top and a fridge I had two TVs. I need Jose to help me with my TV but I was hooked up and I was ready to watch my shows thanks to him. And Jonquel helped me with the computer and printer. The biscuits and gravy were delicious. I went down twice. Also, the burger from the H bar was chargrilled- delicious and flavorful. I chose this hotel because I could walk to the State Farm Arena and the walk was perfect. I booked this hotel already because I’m coming back in the fall and the staff and the hotel is wonderful. I am a new fan lol
Location is great. Staff is nice and helpful. Atmosphere is awesome. Walking distance to a lot places to eat and walking distance to the Georgia world congress center. Rooms are spacious.
Location
Breakfast was often low/out and would take a long time to restock. There wasn't much room to sit with family, yet they had a large area with more tables/chairs blocked off. One Elevator was broken, so long lines for the other elevator.
I had really bad experience, with Hyatt, I had never been to a good hotel where they charge the customer $55 for parking additionally, if we got to know w=this shit before booking we would book any other hotel with including this money can be better choice.
Hidden charges and when I reached there, they charge $55 parking fee every day, this should mention earlier and I was not even able to cancel my booking and go for another hotel because booking.com charge me already.
The room was large ,clean ,inviting ,no bedbugs. Everything thing in that suite was available. The cutlery, pots and pans ,paper towels, glasses, several types of dishes. We loved the bar and the ability to order food there also. The breakfast was decent, we loved the variety of breakfast selections. we sat a few nights at the pool to consume my evening beverages. We also loved that we purchase my tickets for the Georgia Aquarium (;with anytime tickets) . If we decide to come back to Atlanta we would indeed pick this hotel. . I especially loved the fact that we had to access every where if a key card . This was a great ideal to keep the wanders out .( Safety first top-tier )
What i didn't like is the 150.00 deposit ,i had to pay. I dont know if they are going to give my deposit back ,they already took it out of my bank account There was no damage to my room and everything was there when we left it . And the fact that I could not control the temperature in the room. When we arrived the room was very cold . Too cold to sleep, the air conditioner was on high . We turned it down then it turned off. We wanted low fan . We alerted the front desk and she said maintenance was gone for the day,,so we just let it be.
Hotel was clean and the staff are very helpful and prompt. I had a maintenance issue which was NOT a big deal in my room, as it was the morning i was leaving the toilet level chain inside came detached. The breakfast in the morning was okay. pancakes. biscuits and gravy were the top choice in my group.
Very clean, staff was very friendly, rooms was clean and comfy. Food at hotel restaurant was delicious and the complimentary breakfast was awesome and filling! Would highly recommend this location.
Our view out of our window included a dilapidated building which was an eye sore but that is sorta of out of their control.
Everything was clean and organized, Staff were very friendly helpful and caring. The rooms looked fantastic.
They had a hard time getting wash clothes out.
Excellent customer service, amenities Excellent, Excellent family or girls trip, environment, and great free breakfast
The room was clean and had a fresh, pleasant smell, which made for a comfortable stay right from the start. The beds were pretty comfy, even the pull-out bed was pretty nice. A special thank you to Richard, who provided outstanding customer service. He was very friendly, took the time to engage with my 5-year-old Dino (ROARING) grandson, and truly made our experience more memorable. That level of personal attention really stood out. The heated pool was a great amenity and well-maintained. The location is excellent—close to attractions and convenient for getting around. The only downside was the parking fee of $55 per day, something to plan for in your overall cost. The valet attendants were very friendly and helpful and available twenty-four hours a day. Overall, a very good stay with great service, a convenient location, and staff that go above and beyond!!!
Very secure
Very clean, spacious and comfortable and very well situated if you want to walk to the aquarium and other attractions. There are also many good restaurants in a walking distance. The bar of the hotel serves very decent food and breakfast is abundant. The staff were all very pleasant and welcoming. The problem is parking with the hotel only offering valet parking and it's expensive.
I’ve stayed at this location twice now. Our first stay was much more enjoyable than the second but both stays had one major annoyance… the restaurant. The first time we stayed, on the second night, I stopped by the bar with my teenager around 925 to grab a drink and some food. It took a few minutes to get waited on because it was pretty busy. By the time we did get asked what we wanted and said food, we were told the kitchen just closed and we couldn’t order food. We were frustrated but walked elsewhere to eat, which was also very difficult because places literally closed in our faces. That was our only major complaint the first stay other than parking is valet only, as is most hotels we’ve stayed in the city. Fast forward to our second stay, guess what happened again. We get back from our event, need food, it’s 9:32pm. We’re told the restaurant closed at 9:30. I walked over to get a Coke and a bag of chips to just kill that and go to bed. Cokes sold out. I just gave up and went to bed. So frustrated, likely won’t stay at this location again. But for anyone else who wonders… they won’t serve food after 930, no matter what they tell you or what’s in writing.
The staff and the location is close to all the main attractions.
How close it is everything
Location, clean facilities
One slow elevator
Great cutomer service. Beautiful room.
