Staff were great, especially Roberto at reception - so good to see people enjoying their work. Room was spacious, but (in keeping with such an old building) the floors were wonky. Location very good, close to ABBA Arena and easy route to London ExCel centre, with DLR station two minutes' walk away. The Westfield shopping centre with dozens of shops and restaurants is also within easy walking distance.

Situated on a rather noisy street (which perfectly recalls its history as a coaching inn on a highway 300 years ago, so what can you expect?) The immediate surrounds are not a very interesting area, but we never felt unsafe.

Spotlessly clean hotel with really helpful and friendly staff. The room wasn’t huge, but was certainly sufficient. Great selection of tea/coffee/hot chocolate in the room, and the gorgeous Rituals toiletries was a nice surprise. Good breakfast too

Lage. Nur 10 Fussminuten zur Station Stratford. Personal unfassbar freundlich.

Zimmer zum Eventcenter gegenüber, wo lautstark gefeiert wird. Leider wenig Gastronomie im Umkreis.

Courtyard area was ideal during the warm weather. Bar service however slightly lacking together with temperature of the beer!

Our room was not serviced, somewhat disappointing for the standard of hotel/cost. We were not advised of the WiFi charging points on arrival.

Room a little warm, but been a hot summer. We just asked for the window to be opened and it was all sorted by the time we got back to the hotel late night.

I’m very confused by all the positive reviews and would not recommend this hotel. The hotels advertised photos represent rooms that are tastefully decorated, spacious, and vintage inspired however the room I stayed in (504) was small, with cheap furnishings and dated fixtures and bathroom accessories. While the sheets and towels were clean, the curtains had visable stains on them (pictured). There were no internal locks on the door which was disconcerting. The window was screwed shut with the handle ripped off (photo included). The noise from the nearby road (4 lanes of traffic divided by a strip of trees) was quite disruptive (I could hear cars speeding throughout the night) (road pictured). The location, while in Stratford town, is less safe than those hotels that are closer to Westfield like the Hyatt or Moxy. The breakfast wasn’t good (cheap English breakfast, some cheese and fruit, processed baked goods, cartoned juices and instant coffee). We paid £200 for one night with breakfast included and truly it was barely worth £100. There are much better places to stay in the area for £200 than here.

The surrounding environment was less than desirable for a hotel of this standard. No eateries close to hand. But being able to take the DLR to the Westfield Centre via the DLR is a plus.

Los escogimos por su cercanía al estadio olímpico de Londres para asistir a un concierto, Hotel muy cuidado y bien comunicado, con un inmenso centro comercial a pocos minutos andando donde poder hacer compras y comer. Con una parada de metro, prácticamente en la puerta y otra a pocos minutos que te hacen fácil llegar al centro de Londres. Camas cómodas, habitaciones funcionales. Las habitaciones se hacen cada dos días, pero no debe de coger la sorpresa puesto que viene en la descripción y te lo dicen en recepción. Por otra parte si eres un ser humano civilizado no creo que haga falta que te hagan la habitación todos los días.

The hotel was close to Stratford Railway station so it was very easy to get around. The breakfast was very good.

Excellent hotel! Very clean and great breakfast with a big variety! Value for money! You also need 8-9min walk from the tube station and the Westfield shopping centre. They also give you free water bottles everyday in your room!

The staff were friendly in general, the beds were comfortable, breakfast was lovely with a lot of choice, powerful shower, close to Stratford Station.

We were given a room right by reception and the beer garden/smoking area, so we asked to move as we wanted to make sure we had a good night's sleep & didn't want to be all the main foot traffic & people talking in the garden. We received resistance from the staff at the desk at first, then we were given a replacement room. It wasn't very clean, the shower dispenser had fallen off the wall, one of the towels was dirty and the carpet didn't appear to have been vacuumed properly as things stuck to our feet. The TV volume was stuck on 6 so we couldn't hear anything when trying to watch it. There wasn't a gap in the twin beds, so doesn't give much personal space.

This hotel was perfect for attending the All Points East festival. The reception staff were lovely. Very friendly. Clean modern room, great air con!

How slow charging a devices was could do with more plug sockets not just a USB socket

Lack of plugs to charge devices and we only had 2 usb ports which wouldn’t allow charging overnight as the lights had to be on for it to work. Not sure if it was a fault but wasn’t ideal after arriving late from a festival and then leaving early for a train

Friendly welcoming staff, gave us recommendations for a few restaurants, we went to zuzu and the food was incredible! Great location which was a 15 min walk to abba, close to shops and the tube, highly recommended, thank you!

Locatiion - perfect for what we needed - local festival. Breakfast was lovely, well set out. I am pescatarian; however, I did not request any special dietary requirements, and I was quite happy with the options. The room was nice and had air conditioning (which was required as the weather was still quite warm). Staff seemed helpful and courteous, and always seemed friendly and welcoming. We loved the eating area, lovely coloura design - so clean and welcoming - loved the bespoke teapot/milk jug lightshades too!

Unfortunately, the shower head was not firmly attached, making it swivel if adjusting the height. The first night, there was a lot of noise in the corridor, with numerous people who didn't seem to be conscious or aware of other people trying to rest - this was around 11pm-12 midnight. Not really an issue, but I was surprised that I was not informed of the gym facilities, and had to ask if I had access to this.

Great location especially if you are going to the abba concert, lovely rituals toiletries in all bathrooms, rooms spotlessly clean and friendly staff

The hotel was beautiful. The lounge was amazing. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Its so close to the Abba arena and the transport links. We enjoyed a drink from the bar after the show, outside by a water fountain. The dressing gown and slippers were a lovely touch.

The room was big enough for my daughter and I. The bathroom was a little small for a larger lady like myself.

Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter, ruhige und sehr saubere Zimmer, gute Anbindung an den öffentlichen Nahverkehr. Das Frühstück war gut. Die Betten sehr bequem. Ein schönes Hotel für den Aufenthalt. Fußläufig von der ABBA Arena und dem West Ham Stadion entfernt.

Zimmersafe war leider ganz unten im Schrank positioniert, was sehr mühsam war. Man musste sich quasi auf den Boden legen, um den Safe zu nutzen. Dies ist allerdings offenbar nicht in allen Zimmern so.

Great location! On central and jubilee line, very handy for city centre and O2. Staff were very friendly, breakfast was great! Room was small but had everything we needed and it was clean. Would definitely recommend this hotel!
