Property was convenient and quite close to downtown and water.

Needing a room near the ferry. Easy check in. Ground floor drive up room pet friendly for our dog. Full Breakfast included is a bonus. Close to dinner restaurant. Served all purposes.

The morning manager and breakfast was very good.

The building is older for the price range.

Did not like the breakfast. They do not put out any hot food and it has to be ordered the day before. The picture on their ad shows hot food serving containers but that was not the option. You get 1 little egg and bacon, very disappointing.

Liked that they prepared a warm breakfast for you, along with a choice of dry cereal, toast, muffins, yogurt, bagels, coffee and juice.

This hotel is centrally located in Yarmouth. Our room was clean, spacious, updated. Good parking. Excellent staff. Wonderful breakfast included. We arrived in Yarmouth on a Sunday...the city was pretty much closed down. The next day we went to see some of the historical sights & they were closed for the season (Sept 21). If you plan to visit Yarmouth, this motel is a great place to stay. But a day in Yarmouth is quite enough.

The front desk was unable to provide us with a correct password for internet access, when we checked in—if the connectivity issue was ever resolved, we were not informed.

Clean and close to great eateries

This place is close to the ferry. That’s about it. They stopped serving breakfast at 9AM. Considering how late we were getting in the previous evening we got up at 9 and missed breakfast.

This property was great. My only complaint was the breakfast area was small.

Dated, but clean. Noisy room, comfortable bed. Although the bathroom was clean, it is very small with the sink outside of the bathroom. Close to ferry. Delicious made to order breakfast by a super friendly and happy employee- front desk, not so friendly.

A simple hotel with above average service. Breakfasts (included) were cooked for us, hot, each morning. Real breakfast too, eggs, sausage, waffles, whatever we chose. The staff were so friendly and helpful! Rythem was so incredibly helpful!

Very poor maintenance around the property many things broken and patched together. The outdoor pool was extremely dirty and there was not enough water in the pool to filter properly. Upon checking into room it was very dirty we had to ask for a broom just so we could sweep the floor. The window was broken and the toilet was broken as well. We accepted everything and took it upon ourselves to clean up and fix things so we could stay without bothering the staff. The cleaning staff smoked while they work so the whole upper level was full of cigarette smoke. We made the best of situation and let things slide but to top everything off after checking out they contacted us and blamed us for the broken window and told us we would be charged. The employee that made the call was extremely rude. Maybe that’s then only way they can do repairs properly to the building?? Obviously they normally don’t check the room very thoroughly considering we left the room cleaner and in better condition then it was when we arrived. We Would not recommend this place to anybody. Lots better options in the same location.

Wonderful experience! ordered two rooms attached for our family of 6 which was perfect and roomy! Front desk service was awesome, thank you for helping us with whatever our questions or needs were!! The pool was lovely, my kids 9, 12, 14, 16 loved it. Tim horton, kfc, mcdonalds, wendy's are across the street and something fun for the kids to walk to if they wanted anything.

Breakfast was good you had different choices that they made fresh for you. Would have been nice if it was open until 10:00 am

Very convenient from the Cat ferry and Rudders Restaurant. Excellent customer service from the woman who checked us in. Easy access from your vehicle to your room. Good breakfast.

The room was perfectly adequate for the cost. The breakfast included freshly prepared and tasty egg dishes. A nice plus to their continental breakfast options.

The staff was amazing and courteous, but not some much for the warm breakfast: adding bacon and ham as an option in the menu would be a good idea, especially if you're staying more than one night. The other items offered for the breakfast was good.

Clean, cozy place. Breakfast was nice fresh scrambled egg and sausage at table and variety of breads, drinks and fruits. Liked a lot. We stayed night before the CAT to Bar Harber.

The room was immaculate. The staff were pleasant. The breakfast was far superior to the usual hotel fare. The facility, although serviceable, is old.

The room is a good size and clean. Beds are comfy. Website breakfast times do not match the QR you are asked to scan in the room. Small pool is a nice touch.

We rented a room with a kitchenette. It had nearly everything we would need to cook with - which was lovely. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Tv was nice size.plenty of towels and soap. We will rent from here again.

Great place to stay. Better than some 4 stars places Expedia normally recommends. If you are catching the CAT stay here.

Signs of ageing building everywhere. Poorly designed room. Bathroom open to bedroom, providing no privacy. Breakfast a disorganized mess.

The Mermaide staff was kind and helpful. Love your idea of making simple breakfasts, made to order. Thank you! The doe and her fawns, wildlife on the side yard was enjoyable this morning. Nice large rooms, comfy beds, clean. Easy access to The CAT Ferry! We will be back.

Although the room had a few outdated amenities it was clean & comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. They gave a choice of hot breakfast items which was nice considering it was supposed to be a continental breakfast.

This is a great place other than hearing upstairs movement and water use. Alright once you fell asleep

Easy to find location, clean!

This is a nice little motel. It is reasonable, clean and the staff are great, especially, Mike, who cooks great bacon and eggs! The pool is clean and the place is quiet. We stayed for three nights while we toured the area, and would highly recommend a stay at the Mermaid Inn.

I like the property always I choose to stay there when in town

Although not modern, the room was clean and well maintained. Be aware that we had to deal with a flight of stairs to get to our room and with our disabilities this was an annoyance but we enjoyed our stay and would go back again if we could get a main level room.

The mermaid overbook so got us a room at the comfort inn, we didn’t have to worry about a thing they looked after every detail. Amazing

The property was quiet and comfortable, well within walking distance of amenities and services in the area.

Great facility, great staff… only suggestion I would have is to make sure that the front desk has enough coins on hand for guests to make change for the laundry facilities!

The hotel was nice, comfortable and an ideal location, however was really disappointed that the outdoor pool was closed and we hadn’t been informed. We had chosen this hotel BECAUSE it had an outdoor pool, and may have chosen elsewhere if we had known.

It would have been nice to let us know the pool was out of service

I liked the room. It was clean. What I didn’t like was the dog barking at night next door. Then on Friday morning, there was consruction early in the morning next door. Very annoying. If you knew you are having construction done, why book a room right near tge site. 😳

The price was right. The bed was good. Those two things mattered the most to me and were satisfactory.

Clean budget motel convenient to the Ferry terminal. Our room had a nicely stocked kitchenette (although we did not use it). Good low cost stay.

Heating was not working and they had a space heater placed on the desk to heat the room. We were not informed of this. The electronic door did not work and the staff had to push into the door with his shoulder for it to open. Needs improvements.
