Best Western New Oregon Motel

Location

Smoke detector was going off, sounded like they had put someone in the room already and they asked to be move, then put us in it. Also, we had to share the room with a family of sugar ants....

Kind accommodating staff

Prima en comfortabele kamer met voldoende faciliteiten (koelkast met vriesvakje, magnetron, koffiezetapparaat). Goede bedden. In het hotel een zwembad, sauna en ontbijtruimte met prima ontbijt.

My Husband and I choose the Best Western due to our son competing at the Worlds Athletic Meet at the nearby Hayfield Stadium . The Location was absolutely perfect with about a 200m walk to the track each morning . The rooms were very spacious and adequate . the breakfast while quite basic was still very tasty . Overall we were happy with our stay and location was perfect for what was required.

Location easy access to the EMX..railservice Pool and table outside

Overpriced . comparing to other hotels on the same street..just a little better breakfast

Location was great. Staff very helpful

No restaurant on site though had appeared as though there was when booking. Bath shower not walk in shower. Made showering dangerous for my elderly companion. Sinks in bedroom not in bathroom, made it feel old fashioned.

vše v pořádku.

nebyl jsem dříve informován o úhradě kauce na případné škody v pokoji. za 10 dnů mi nebyla kauce stále vrácena.

Pet friendly. Parking right in front of room.

My dog kennel trained. Rules did not allow me to leave him in room in the kennel. Unable to use gym or pool.

Breakfast needs longer hours! Not everyone gets up at 6am. Retired people get up later!!

Family friendly, location, spacious rooms, indoor swimming pool, good parking, tea and coffee available 24 hrs, luggage storage ...

Location, proximity to Hayward Field. Bus stop right in front of hotel. Close to running paths. Overall cleanliness.

Breakfast processed foods. Room was only cleaned once during our stay.

The fact that is was close to hayward field

The breakfast was the same everyday People at dining facilities not very friendly

Conveniently located. Well maintained and clean. excellent full breakfast every morning.

No elevator access to the second floor, where we were staying

My room faced the back so it was quiet and was not facing the hot sun. The location by campus was convenient. Many TV stations were available. The staff gave me a list of near or recommended restaurants.

Comfortable quiet rooms, easy to park right in front of the room. The small fitness room was comfortable & clean. Will definitely stay again!

The location is rough for out of towners trying to get back to the freeway but not terrible.

Everything was perfect, the room, the amenities, the staff.

Did not eat there.

Noisy AC unit and location.

The property was actually kept up really well. It was clean.

The “remodel” was a little sloppy. Walls and ceiling are thin. I could hear my neighbors.

Only stayed 1 nite, but I would definitely stay there again and recc to friends.

We were late getting to our destination so we missed breakfast

Didn’t ha e tune to swim either. Will Make time next Time!

Staff and breakfast foods.

1) Do not use disposable (single-use) dishes, cups, etc at breakfast. 2) Could not turn off the fan/air con in the room, had to unplug it. (Instructions would have been nice.)

Breakfast was fabulous especially the crispy potatoes. Staff was really friendly too. The room was clean as well. Also appreciated that we could leave the car there until 4 pm the day we checked out.

No problems at all.

Very nicely laid out. Having a separate building can be a problem in adverse weather.

We had an infestation of little ants. Was disappointed that my cookies from Insomnia Cookies were ruined.

This BW property is little more than a Motel 6 with fresher paint. It was conveniently located close to the U of O campus, but that was about the only plus for this property. The room and facilities were plain, dated and rather sub-par from what I've come to expect of BW properties. I will look for another place to lay my head if I find myself staying in Eugene again.

It’s was very clean. Staff friendly

Overall a very good stay. The room was super clean, the staff was kind and helpful, and the breakfast was good quality. Check-in was easy and smooth as was the check-out.

The sauna was not in "ready to use" condition. There was no bucket of water & ladle in the sauna. Additionally, I had to turn it on and heat it up. When I went to the front desk and ask about the bucket, they said I would have to wait until the morning to get one. So I had to improvise my own watering-to-make-steam situation. But once I had it hot and could use water, it was an excellent experience.

The staff was very kind, room was clean.

There were lots of spiders in my room. Heated water was an issue throughout the hotel; the heated pool was regular pool temperature and the pool water smelled like mildew, while our hotel shower wouldn't have warm water unless we ran the sink at the same time for at least 5min. It was a waste of water. The heated pool was one of the main reasons I chose to stay at this hotel, so that was a total bummer.

Very close to the university campus, grocery store pizza place and other restaurants. It was clean, comfortable and staff was helpful and courteous and lots of parking.

Maybe the breakfast

The fact I paid for a 3 queen bedroom with a pullout couch and got a 2 queen bedroom. They did offer to give us a roll away... no room in the actual room, and when asked for an extra pillow.. was told there was none.. gave us a blanket for our 5th person. But their pillows suck.. so two pillows equal one... plus I had remote work the next morning.. I went to my car to work so I would not disturb the other people in our pathetic room.

I love the balcony and seeing the ducks and you’re right next to the university. And if you smoke it in no brainer.

Make sure to have you’re not disturbed sign up or the maids might come in. Happened to me when I was staying two days

This hotel is a short walk from Haywards Field.

I was a bit disappointed that having stayed here some 10 or so years ago nothing appears to have changed. The rooms are a tad dark and dated - but clean. Breakfast choices are very poor - but that might just be my expectation as a European.

Great location

had some ants in the room that came for crumbs from kids eating. overall very clean room, we were on the first story so it's not entirely suprising

La habitación, parqueo al frente.

Great breakfast and staff in ther breakfast room. Clean rooms. Staff at front desk very helpful. Location is great.

Overall I chose it for the location near Hayward Field which was great. Nice quiet and clean although it looks a little old. Nice staff and clean room

Water pressure was low for the shower. Might need to upgrade paint and carpets as they seemed a little old

There were ants crawling on the nightstand in the room.

Breakfast was amazing Location by EmX so convenient since I didn’t have my car.

Nothing. All excellent

Close proximity to University of Oregon and nearby trails.

Property itself was what you would expect - a place to sleep and a convenient location.

Location

Price

Super convenient to the university of Oregon, clean and quiet.

All the vending machines were out of water bottles, they did have fill stations and water cups. Just wish they had additional water bottles at the counter to purchase.

Great location. Loved being next to the river.

Walking distance to Autzen along a clean and scenic path. It was approximately a 10 minute walks. Not bad.

There was an absurd number of ants in our room. It was very upsetting for our teenager. They were in the towels, bathtub and all around the bathroom. The staff wasn’t able/willing to do anything when we requested a new room.

room was great, staff was exceptional

Location, cleanliness, great breakfast, good housekeeping practices. Mattresses were very comfortable, pool was clean.

Door to bathroom was broken and would not close OR lock, not very practical with 3 people sharing a room. Room smelled musty and damp, very odd and unpleasant smell.

Breakfast was excellent and location was convenient for our purpose.

The gross overprice for these accommodations. I've stayed in other motels with much better accommodations and for a much lower cost per night. It appears you took advantage of the graduation weekend.

Great location - hot breakfast a serious positive - pool/sauna very welcome - will continue to book with you!

My techs love the place - nothing bad to say!

Clean, comfortable beds and good breakfast

Paid for a quadruple queen room and did not get it. Did not have enough beds for my family.

Close to university of Oregon

Room size

The desk clerk recognized me by name. She was polite, helpful, and courteous. Greatly appreciated the outstanding customer service.

Breakfast,pool

Close to family members. Property was well taken care of. All good.

Quiet, perfectly located. Comfortable bed.

Everything- especially the breakfast and clean rooms

Nothing

Location breakfast coffee

Nothing

Nlthing

Everything about this place

The room was nice and clean. Beds and bedding were nice.

There was a large group of people above us having a party after our kid's bedtime. A lot of jumping, yelling, and screaming (yes, literal screaming every few minutes). When showering in the morning, I was about halfway done when the water went from normal to scalding with me under it. It's been years since I've had to deal with anything like this in a hotel.

Great location, nice big room, breakfast was excellent, staff were friendly and efficient!

Nothing

The staff were very friendly and courteous. The location was a short walk from the start/finish line of the Eugene marathon which was so nice.

It was way overpriced even considering that it was the Eugene marathon weekend. The room was clean but outdated, and had a musty odor.

Hotel limpio, amplias habitaciones y excelente ubicación!

Los 0recios estaban bastante elevados debido al marathon

Loved our corner room! Had a great view of Eugene Marathon Course.

Hate the price gouging when there is an event going on.

CLEAN!!! Yay!!!

Breakfast

Looks like mold in the shower between sections

The size of the room was great. Bed was extremely comfortable. Staff was friendly. I was impressed with how quiet the room was - really could not hear any exterior noise. Super convenient to an event at U of O.

Clean, comfy, great location around campus

Could hear everything on floor above us. Will get a room on top floor next time : )

Good food comfort was good

Feeding the ducks off the balcony

Close to everything.

The outdoor hallways always creep me out a little.

My room was thankfully NOT in the horse-shoe shaped area of hotel which circled the parking lot and became quite niosy. Being across the street from the University and the firat night of Spring break. My room was on the side of building with no parking and no people, so thankfully very quiet. I only came for a quick overnight so all I needed was a clean safe place for sleeping and this suited the bill nicely.

This is not a luxery hotel. The whole place could do with a remodel. It was inexpensively made to start with.

Everything was perfect. It felt safe. The room etc was clean. Breakfast is included and it was wonderful. Nice area to walk your pet. Very near the university and several restaurant options are within walking distance.

Everything was great!

Very convenient location to I-5. The breakfast is good. The staff were very nice. The room was clean and convenient access to outside considering we have a dog that needs to be taken out periodically.

More breakfast variety. The bathroom is very small and need more counterspace and storage.

It was a clean and good location. Also had the pool open until 12 am that was a plus due to my family checking in late.

Location

Cleaning, bed bugs!!!

Staff and location is great. Good breakfast and I was able to do my laundry. Also very clean all around!

Terrible pillows and the chairs in the room are narrow and low, not comfortable at all. Mattress was just okay.

The room was very clean and comfy. The breakfast was awesome with great choices, and the area was great to walk around.

The pillows were a little uncomfortable and hard to get comfy with.

Each member of the staff at the hotel was gracious, helpful and knowledgeable thereby allowing them to assist us with any and all concerns or questions we had during our stay. Thank you.
