Breakfast is the best hotel breakfast I've had included in the room fee. Custom omelettes or scrambled eggs plus hash browns, beans, sausages, waffles, toast, yogurt etc.

If you are sleeping on floors 3 and up, your entire room will be filled by this impossibly bright blue light coming from the lighting outside the hotel. I guess it makes the hotel look nice from the outside, but it is the most obnoxious thing I've ever seen in a hotel. We've stayed here several times over the past year and although the staff is lovely, I didn't love wrestling my kids to sleep in all this bright light. If you have a hard time sleeping, request a room on the 2nd floor or stay elsewhere.

Its very close to the train station and they are so friendly, have a great time.

They booked me into a 4th floor room and the air conditioning system that was on the roof above was so noisy that I could not sleep. I had to check out of the room and go to another hotel. The staff was not helpful and refused to give me a refund for the night

Elevator was iffy and often smelled. May have been other travelers. Floor needed to be cleaned more often.

I tend to stay at a Best Western Plus near my employer's HQ while on business, so my spouse and I thought we'd try this Best Western after a long time away. On the positive side, we found the location generally clean. The breakfast included in the stay had a wide selection and friendly staff. We have several suggestions for improvements and cautions. The pillows, bedding, and towels seem low cost and very poor quality. The pillow felt like something one would find in a prison. The place could generally use a lot more maintenance. The front doors were difficult to open. Our bathroom tap had a constant drip. On the security front, be sure to lock and bar your door. It's not clear what/if any system can keep non-guests from coming up to guest rooms. There is no security on the elevator. On the last night of our stay, we had shut, supposedly locked, and secured the door. We woke up the next morning to find the door ajar, although the security bar held out whoever tried to get access to the room. That the door didn't fully lock is likely on us for not having checked more thoroughly (and we usually do check carefully), but seeing the door ajar the next morning raised some serious questions about the security of the property.

We have gone for conference and went well, Abdul Ali the manager we true gentle man. he helped us far away from his work. Hotel looks well maintain and clean, while having the renovation. all staff were great and helpful. AC units need to change its too aged.

Had noise all night from unannounced construction, renovation on the third floor. Tried to talk to the manager Abdul Ali about it. He was not available and did not call me or email me. Their sign next to the reception counter says "We want to make it right." But they did nothing.

Breakfast was quite good with freshly prepared omelette or eggs in addition to standard breakfast offerings. Ladies preparing eggs were very friendly and cheerful.

There was a man standing in the stairwell when I arrived. He followed me to the desk and started asking me questions. I was clearly uncomfortable and the hotel worker did not escort him out of the building or call security or the police. It was extremely unsettling.

I stay in hotels 50–60 nights a year for work, so I’ve seen the full spectrum — and this Best Western lands somewhere in the middle, with a few standout highs and a few lows worth noting. The biggest issue is the entry and exterior experience. The main access point for luggage is essentially a back door with a ramp, and the parking lot is not well lit, and the hotel in general has an unclear entry path. The exterior at the back door feels obstructed by shrubs and cedars, parking isn’t ideal for unloading luggage, and the walk to the lobby is through a desolate hallway that doesn’t feel welcoming. As a woman who often travels alone, I would not choose this location for a solo night arrival. I travelled with my partner this time, so I felt fine, but the overall setup and lighting do not give a strong sense of safety. Once inside, things improve significantly. The rooms were clean, well‑kept, and comfortable, and the front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. We asked for a quiet room and they put us on top floor far from elevator and it was much appreciated. But the real star of this hotel is the breakfast. Truly the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. There’s a live omelet station, a waffle maker with berries and whipped cream, delicious sausages, and genuinely great coffee. The breakfast staff were exceptional- warm, welcoming, and clearly proud of what they do. Holy cow, they know how to feed you. Overall, this hotel isn’t the best or the worst I’ve stayed in, but the breakfast alone elevates the experience in a big way. If you’re arriving during daylight or travelling with someone, it’s a solid stay. If you’re a solo female traveller arriving late at night, the exterior setup may not feel ideal.

The breakfast that came included with the room was actually pretty good! They had some hot breakfast items and an omelette station in addition to your typical continental breakfast, which was greatly appreciated.

Our room wasn’t the cleanest, smelt like an old smoking room, and the AC was quite loud. The shower wall had hair stuck to it and a used bar of soap that wasn’t thrown away.

Good location for a morning jaunt to the little stores nearby. Staff were decent, and the location was easy to get in and out on Highway 16. Timmies was a blockish away and the same with a grocery store.

Parking lot is tight with angled parking and not very big. Bigger vehicles may have to park on the street or maybe an alley. Rooms had different sizes. We had to get 2 rooms because we were one adult, 2 teenagers and 2 toddlers - one room was really tight with not a whole lot of walking space in front of the beds and the other room had way more space 🤷‍♀️

I stay 100+ nights a year in hotels, and this was by far my worst experience. My “Do Not Disturb” sign was ignored—housekeeping entered my room while I was out, half-cleaned it, and I had to have my key card reprogrammed. Front desk promised a supervisor would call; no one ever did. The hotel was dirty, staff disorganized, and management tried to blame me afterward. I felt my privacy was completely violated. I will never stay here again.

I booked through booking.com, I was positive on my booking but was told I was wrong. I didn't ask about a senior's discount. Next time, I'll research rates more, and I was shocked I had to put up a damage deposit . Usually, they just take my credit card number .

The doors were very loud/ noisy when you lock or jam them. A slow lock is recommended for each door to avoid jamming or banging

I have been coming to the hotel for many years. It is an OK hotel. Staff are fantastic but the rooms really need an update. The building and roms smells like smoke; old carpets, old mattresses, older furniture, older HVAC. Nice to have the restaurant on site. Will return but hope there is an update soon by corporate.

An old hotel that had a facelift but still looks tatty and a bit dirty and gives off low key skid vibes. Staff are friendly and helpful.

The EXTREME noise from the roof sounded like a diesel truck at high rpm. I booked with expedia(the last time ever) so I got a lousy room on the 5th floor under the noisy motor. At midnite I couldn't stand it/or sleep so I came down to reception and got another room on the 2nd floor.

Disappointed in the property - toilet was broken and had to use garbage can to pour water from the bathtub into the toilet tank to flush. Front desk did not help despite telling them about the issue, asked for new room and they denied the request. Overall the hotel is in poor shape and needs a complete renovation and overhaul of all the common areas as well as the rooms. Would not recommend.
