everything was to our expectation. Car park was close enough. dinner was pretty good and the room was clean.

room was facing the main street and the noise from the restaurant terrace did not let us sleep till 11:30 pm. Russian lady was talking pretty loud in bad English for 2.5 hours straight. So, the room facing the other side of the hotel will be much better. There is no AC in the hotel so sleeping with the windows closed was not an option.

It was a very awesome location! In the bed was discomfortable as I’ve been in in Switzerland! all of the employees of this hotel were very pleasant!

L’emplacement en plein gruyères. La vue exceptionnelle. Petit déjeuner très complet. Je recommande le restaurant et surtout la fondue excellente.

La literie pas exceptionnelle, et le lit est petit.

Schade - Es ist ein ansprechendes Hotel an guter Lage. Zimmer 1 mit schöner Aussicht und ruhig (bis 06:30 die Kirchenglocken läuten). Das Zimmer ist in neuerem Zustand und angenehm. Das Personal ist nett.

Ich habe den Eindruck dass hier niemand Verantwortlich ist für den Betrieb. Personal nett aber hat keine Ahnung oder zu ...? Bei direkter Sonneneinstrahlung ins Zimmer hätte es Fensterläden aber nur der rechte Flügel geht. Der Linke ist um ein paar Zentimeter blockiert wegen der hohen Rollladeninstallation der Terrasse. Beim rechten Flügel dann noch ein Wespennest. Frühstück: Käse und Früchte sind gut. Fleisch nicht von Interesse. Eierspeise sucht man, d.h. am 1. Morgen waren kalte dicke Eier vorhanden (neben Eierbecher ?), und ich konnte ein noch warmes Joghurt ergattern (steht am falschen Ort). Der 2. Morgen hatte es in sich. Da wird nichts aufgefüllt, man muss um ein Joghurt, Butter, Brot erbitten. Der Höhepunkt Ei :( Es steht ein Ei-Kocher da aber mit falschem Stecker. Nach lagen kam das OK. Der Kocher kennt dann aber nur Max oder nichts. Also Vorfreude auf ein drei Minuten Ei mit dem Ergebnis dass es sich um ein mindestens 15 Minuten Ei handelte. Es wurden die dicken Eier vom Vortag hingestellt. Also neu um Eier betteln. Dann noch betreff Gesundheit: Fürs Müesli sind genau drei Süsssorten Flocken von irgend etwas vorhanden, nicht mal mindestens Haferflocken. Aber dafür hat es jede Menge Süss-Gebäck.

The staff is absolutely excellent! They are incredibly attentive for your needs. They are extremely helpful and very friendly. It made me speechless! The interior is beautiful of everything but the rooma.

The rooms are little and one barely can pass around the bed. My rather petite wife hurt herself in the night. The beds are short. The mattress was a bit too soft and the pillows were large and not too comfortable. The shower door was unhinged. The bathroom exhaust fan wasn’t working and the door wasn’t soundproof (didn’t close properly).

Position géographique et personnel vraiment top. Bon restaurant.

On a eu très chaud la nuit et le petit déjeuné qui est en supplément était à moitié vide à 9:00 du matin..

The location and views in the room were amazing! 100% would stay here again for the view! Easy to walk around and very centrally located.

We arrived early so we could so they held our bags and we got some coffee. However, multiple attempts were made to get a glass of water with our coffee with no success. However, when it was time to check in the first thing they offered us was a glass of water. The staff was not super friendly but the actual room was worth it. Breakfast also starts later so if you want coffee you need to go somewhere else.

Room: no aircondition, there is no realistic way to open the window, if you open it you are full with flies .there is no net on the window. In the bathroom all you have is one shampoo for the price no conditioner no gel.2-3 star facilty

Pas de climatisation dans les chambres , plafond bas. Réveil obligatoire à 7 heure car ouverture du village aux voitures et surtout camions qui livrent sous les fenêtres avec beaucoup de bruit ! Attention Parking loin de l’hôtel car village sans voiture ( horaires imposés)

Sin duda, el mejor establecimiento hotelero y restaurante de Gruyères. Las habitaciones, muy cómodas, el restaurante muy bueno, y el personal, extraordinario en amabilidad y profesionalidad.

Frühstück war recht gut und enthielt alles, was man gewohnt ist

In der Nacht wurde vor dem Hotel bis nach Mitternacht gesungen und niemand hat das offiziell reklamiert.

Die Lage inmitten des malerischen Dörfchens Gruyeres ist sehr schön und auch praktisch. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam. Das Essen war sehr gut und reichlich.

Leider haben Touristen vor dem Hotel bis Morgens um 0.30 Uhr gesungen und musiziert. Das unser vorreserviertes Mittagessen 2 Tage vor dem Anlass um 2 Stunden nach hinten verschoben wurde, weil ein nahmhafter Autohändler mit 100 Gästen zuerst bedient wurde, ist zwar nachvollziehbar, aber es hat uns doch etwas geärgert.

Accueil super avec boisson offerte, service impeccable, excellent repas et petit déjeuner. Les chambres sont confortables et les salles de bain viennent d'être refaites.

L'accès est très difficile. Le directeur nous avait conseillé de venir au pied de l'hôtel en voiture à certains horaires mais en quittant l'hôtel le policier voulait me verbaliser pour avoir franchi la barrière. Vraiment site à déconseiller. La chambre minuscule très bas de plafond petite fenêtre le matin pas d'eau chaude pourquoi ?

그뤼에르 성 바로 밑에 있는 아주 아담한 호텔 입니다. 11세 자녀와 3명으로 더블침대 1개, 싱글침대 1개짜리 방을 예약하였습니다. 조용하고 편안하게 하루를 보냈습니다.

계단이 너무 가파르게 있었으며 엘리베이터가 없어서 짐을 옮기는데 힘들었습니다. 주차장과의 거리가 멀어서 짐을 호탤까지 가지고 가기에 많은 힘이 들었습니다.

The breakfast is nice, but the food isn’t kept warm. I wish they had been able to keep something’s warm.

The hotel was in a great location. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Especially Ercan, Muhammed, and Anna were very helpful and attentive. A special thank you to Alex as well — this young hotel owner is incredibly humble, warm, and kind. They truly made us feel at home. The rooftop restaurant was also amazing, and the food was delicious. The fondue was excellent — I highly recommend trying the restaurant. Thank you very much for everything!

a equipe desde a recepçao até o restaurante muito simpática e atenciosa. Quartos confortáveis. Localizado muito perto do Castelo de Gruyéres. Café da manhã de boa qualidade.

Tudo muito bom, mas podem melhorar a composição do café da manhã, disponibilizando a maquina de café que muitos restaurantes têm, com opcoes diversas e manter o buffet com frutas.

Personnel très sympa, Ethan et son collègue de la réception ont été impeccables, sourire, gentillesse, à l'écoute, tout était parfait, et le repas était excellent, on a passé une excellente soirée.

The location and the cosy atmosphere

Certain parts need renovation, eg bathroom. Breakfast needs more variety for its price. The restaurant maitre has to be more professional and improve the way he addresses the clients/visitors. We arrived at the property early and had to wait for the check in time which is understandable. In the meantime, we decided to have breakfast at the hotel and a bit later we ordered some drinks. Before noon he asked us to leave the restaurant area claiming we could not stay having only the drinks and we either had to order food or be moved to the bar - which was not an actual bar area but a small bar counter which is definitely not a place for hotel guests to spend 2-3 hrs until check in. It is not the guests problem that the hotel does not have a proper waiting area for someone to have a coffee or just wait while waiting for check in and is not in line with hospitality rules to ask your hotel guests to leave a sitting area whilst they have already spent money sitting there.

Emplacement parfait sur la montée du château devant le spectacle féérique des boutiques et restaurants illuminés pour les fêtes. Réception discrète et souriante (une vraie recontre pleine d'humanisme avec le fils du propriétaire en personne), gentillesse et écoute de nos demandes. La déco des chambres et des parties communes rêvée pour un vrai dépaysement de charme et d'authenticité à Gruyère. Je recommande vivement !

Schönes Hotel in guter Lage!

The location was good, the staff was friendly.

The room we had booked did not at all resemble the images online. It had very little light, an uncomfortable bed with two separate duvets ( we are a couple, a double room should have a true double bed ( ie one mattress and one duvet, the bathroom was very old and the room very crammed ( ie tiny). If it would have been cosy and comfortable and the room would have resembled what we had booked, a tiny room wouldn't have been a problem, we don't need a lot of space but it just did not in any way resemble what we had seen online. Breakfast was also minimal.

Wonderful, clean, elegant and cozy. All stuff are cheerful and helpful. Their restaurant is one of the best in Gruyere.

No lift. The room is small. Bathroom is old.

Il y a eu un petit problème avec la machine à café. Quand j'ai informé la réception au moment du check-out, on m'a immédiatement proposé de m'offrir un café à l'emporter.

Quand j'ai réservé la chambre pour deux adultes et un enfant, je n'ai pas été informé qu'il fallait payer un supplément pour le lit d'enfant.

A localização perfeita! O restaurante nota 10 em comidas, atendimento e ainda com vistas maravilhosas! A recepcionista super atenciosa na nossa chegada! Super recomendo!

Breakfast is served in the main restaurant with views onto mountains, hills and villages. (Full spread including fruit pie (clafouti's). We (7 adults) ate twice dinner in same fine Restaurant. (from Entrecote to Pizza/Pasta, Salades) The village is very charming and old, dead quiet until about 7.00. Train to Bulle and Bus connections to Village are great/ Parking is well organized for cars. No cars allowed in Village. Enjoyed some farm animals just outside entry to village, great for kids.

The historic village is covered throughout with cobble stones. Good shoes are welcome.

Fantastic location in the castle village. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Fondue at the restaurant in the hotel was excellent. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Situé au coeur de ce village historique et magnifique, cet hôtel mérite largement toutes ses étoiles. Notre chambre était superbe avec une salle de bain juste restaurée. Petit déjeuner de qualité, quand au restaurant, nous avons mangé la meilleure fondue (championne du monde) gouté depuis année... Quant au personnel, que dire, j'ai rarement vu une bande de jeunes gens aussi motivés que compétents... Bravo !

Location of the hotel is great. It is right in the middle of Gruyère. It is a bit touristy so be ready for that. Our room had a wonderful Mountain View. Parking is down the hill so pack light because the walkway is cobblestone. We were there in September so we didn’t need air conditioning but it may be an issue in the hotter summer months. There were mosquitos so just be aware of that when you leave your windows open. That being said, the room is clean and comfortable. The restaurant was fine. We had fondue and steak, but the fondue was the better choice. Overall not a bad stay. The hotel’s location made it so that we could be there for sunrise and sunset—which was lovely.
