Beautiful room. Lovely views.
All other facilities available in the hotel had an extra charge so you get a room and that's it.
Hotel was beautiful, food amazing, staff very friendly
Comfortable and friendly. Good brasserie.
The property was nice rooms were lovely
Nothing really
Food and the serving staff were excellent.
The toilet/bathroom facilities were a bit tired.
Staff were brilliant , food was tasty, lovely breakfasts
Staff and facilities were very good.
Lovely place, nice staff. Grade 1 listed building so mod cons are not paramount.
Was told couldn't use facilities as fully booked, asked to see facilities it was locked up. Room was 2 flights of stairs up, no elevator so as I suffer with my lungs it was difficult.
Most comfortable bed and the scrambled eggs were “to die for” - absolutely perfect.
Very comfortable environment with extremely helpful staff and very lovely food.
A bit hot and stuffy in the bedroom- this is a problem everywhere at the moment, but a more powerful fan would have helped.
Good breakfast. Lovely hotel
The Welsh language wasn’t very visible. Pity with the national Eisteddfod coming to the area too ! It’s so easy to use incidental Welsh , Diolch , croeso , dim problem , bore da , nos da . It’s never too late
Good room, with everything I needed. Comfortable beds. Staff were extremely kind and thoughtful, asking me about my son who was in hospital at the time. I had room service and the food was exceptional. I would make the 2.5h trip just for the tempura prawns.
Nothing
A good stay. For evening meal, liked availability of small plates. Restaurant staff were attentive and helpful.
No air con. Fan provided in room was rather noisy and not particularly effective. Opening windows meant having to put up with noisy extractor fans of downstairs rooms.
Lovely location. Staff were really friendly and kind. Room was conveniently located for dogs.
I loved everything about the property. Option for room service to avoid bringing dog into the food area. But I’m sure that is available I just didn’t investigate enough x
Lovely clean venue with amazing staff
Breakfast was a little spenny
Every staff member was excellent. They were warm, friendly, courteous and efficient. Lovely room. Nice patio area.
Could have benefited from an air con unit in the room. Also the window had condensation on it so I guess the double glazing might need a new seal.
Found we were in the bridal suite when we arrived. Ambience of the place very nice.
No view from our room, just another pitched roof.
The kettle was someone used, I could clearly see the grounded coffee and dried. But no one changed for us. No staff present after 11PM to help us with it Originally I have booked a room with King size bed and a spacious room, but I did not get what I have booked ended up with staying in a small room due to staff has no knowledge of the room features.
Convenient to the ferry port at Fishguard

Clean and comfortable with friendly staff. There wasn’t any gluten free cereal options on display at breakfast, but they were able to provide a gluten free bun to accompany my eggs and salmon. I left a pair of earrings in error and thankfully, they were handed in to lost property enabling me to pay for postage. We were very grateful for the honesty and the excellent service provided to get them returned.

Rooms were quite dated. Room Facilities were not up to standard
The food was excellent
The deluxe king room was very disappointing and was nothing like the photos shown on booking.com. It was a very basic room and was really over priced.
Nice hotel.
Arranged to have happy birthday slate delivered at dinner for my wife, prior to our arrival, never arrived. A bit disappointed with that.
Nice comfortable room
The weather conditions were exceptionally hot and the room was sweltering so not the greatest night’s sleep. I think the hotel staff could have pulled the curtains to block the sun and leave the fan running to try and keep the temperature down, however, it was a heatwave.
Everything! Kind and helpful staff, comfy bed, quiet at night (I was on top floor), delicious food from the brasserie which I had as room service.
Nothing
Our room (20) was very nice and roomy, very clean and the bed extremely comfy. We could park at the back outside our room so no lugging bags upstairs. All the food we had was extremely good and the service (especially by the Head of Training) was very good.
The only problem for us was the seating area (sofa bed). For us the sofa was too low and uncomfortable. A couple of club chairs would be better.
Everything, too many to mention.

Restaurant experience
A lovely unspoilt part of the world Staff were very friendly and helpful we ate. In restaurant one evening excellent food and service

Stayed for work, clean and comfortable room, attentive staff with a warm welcome. Hope to visit again

Great Pembrokeshire location. On a fairly busy road but quiet garden at the back of the hotel when not in use for functions
The bedrooms are dated but well maintained and clean. Staff were very friendly. We had to pay extra for breakfast as this was not included in our booking.com booking. The breakfast was very disappointing and at £19.50 per person per night it fell well short of expectations.
Very late check in, gone midnight as ferry from Ireland was delayed. Young lad on reception when I arrived offered to carry my bag to my room. Very large room and very clean.
Paid £75 for room for night, they wanted £19.50 for breakfast, which is a bit steep after I arrived gone midnight and left at 9am. I cheaper breakfast options may have tempted me.

Everything, a great hotel at an excellent price. The food was exceptional with service to match. A large room and great shower. Try this and you will not be disappointed.

Didn't stay for breakfast
Room was clean, well equipped and very warm…
We as a small group purposely returned for a night cap before 11pm to find the bar area in darkness and closed up. The staff all eating in the office. Was told no services available even for residents. “That’s the way it is “ ? The girl was unhelpful and very dismissive. Shame ! The daytime reception staff were lovely!
Pleasant.bar area.
Staff uninterested and not friendly. Room smelt. Accepted our restaurant booking when we booked at their suggestion Then informed us we could only have the set valentine menu at £68 each. We ate elsewhere
All as expected

All of the staff at this hotel without exception, were friendly and professional.
Nothing.
All clean and the rooms are fabulously presented. Just love the place.

Nice touches with the dog treats. Lovely room and a nice touch with the robes. Food was some of the best hotel food I've had anywhere.
£15 for the dog.
Great location
Easily accessible, excellent friendly staff and quality of rooms and food was exceptional.
High quality of furniture and exceptionally clean.
The venue is fantastic and has character. The location and facilities were excellent. The value for money was also exceptional and i would not hesitate to go back there again. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The weather was appalling lol, But I cannot find anything to complain about regarding the hotel.
Beautiful Country Hotel, really homely feel, super comfortable beds and pillows. Good food and first class staff, nothing is too much trouble. Great value for money.
Breakfast was lovely a good selection of fruit etc cereal range was limited hot breakfast was delicious
There wasn't anything I was unhappy with
My issue is with Booking.com as well as the hotel. It is stated that there is EV charging at the hotel. This IS NOT the case. We arrived with very little power left, expecting to do a full charge overnight. This was a HUGE problem for us. This needs to be sorted for other guests
Comfortable, beautiful hotel. Right location for us.
Nil
I've been going to have meals at Allt-yr-afon for 30 years or more and live locally. The staff and the food have always been great. This is the first time I'd used it as an hotel. I had a lovely stay - the room was everything I hopes it would be.
Nothing at all - I'd recommend it as an hotel to others.
staff were nice and helpful
Excellent breakfast with good, friendly service.
Room quite cold on arrival, electric heater in room.
Room only so cannot comment on breakfast but had dinner at the hotel and the food was very good. Staff friendly and very helpful. Good restaurant and bar, nice outside seating area.
Room was comfortable and clean but window was above and behind the bed so could not really be seen out of.
dinner amazing. staff all supa helpful
Frriendly staff. Good location. Lovely room.
The bedroom, really comfortable and spacious, perfect for families. The staff were helpful and friendly.
Attentive staff, excellent cooking and a comfortable country ambiance.
Lots of character.
Bedroom light switches hard to figure out.
Lovely place, warm and welcoming, comfortable room and an excellent dinner and breakfast would definitely recommend.
Lovely rooms
Lovely everything. Pleasant bar, quality breakfast
Bed linen could be lighter, hot during the night although I put the heating on low. Would have liked to use the sauna. Restrictive times and cost for facial
A nice old-fashioned country hotel with friendly staff and very good food.
The decoration was a little tired.

Lovely hotel and location. The staff were great. I had a lovely stay and a wonderful breakfast. I will visit again.
Nothing to add here.
Clean, good location and value
Bathroom dated
Lovely, quiet location but convenient for the main road. Comfortable room with bathrobes, toiletries and even a treat bag for our dog. All staff were attentive, helpful and friendly.
Unfortunately the weather was freezing and it had been snowing leaving the car park frozen solid. This made it extremely treacherous under foot - we were struggling to get from the entrance to our car without slipping/falling.
Good was excellent, great location and very friendly staff.
Very friendly staff in this really lovely hotel...I was made to feel very welcome.e along with my small dog who was made a great fuss of. Would highly recommend.
Lovely staff, restaurant was delicious
Location and rooms were nice
Breakfast was expensive
Lovely little hotel. Really clean and cosy rooms, staff were all very friendly and welcome. Perfect location for ferry port. Food was amazing.
Everything about the Hotel, me and my wife have stayed here previously snd it was excellent then.
