Charming old hotel. Quiet and comfortable

I liked everything about it. The only thing I might say is that due to the age and character of the property there is no lift which might make it difficult for anyone with mobility issues

Was convenient for where we going.

Decor was very old and tired. Room not cleaned properly eg sweet wrappers in the bedside cabinet and iron mark on the carpet.

Well equipped, friendly place with very welcoming people. Our room was clean and equipped as you would expect. Food was great, especially the separately bought dinner

Windows were looking at the parking spaces, so movement and noises were getting to us in the morning.

Comfortable bed and good shower pressure.

Could have done with more pastry options for breakfast, but thats just me.

No lift so had to carry baby up a lot of stairs as the family room was on the top floor.

Nothing really, for one night. Slightly dated property, no air con or something to cool the room but good atmosphere compensated. Not being able to get a drink other than 5-10pm seemed odd, as a resident.

On entering room and to use toilet. Poo was still in it but was hard to see because of colour of toilet under the water was brown. On 2nd day house cleaner had made a good job of cleaning it. (plenty of bleech)did the job.I did not complain to manegment

Very good the staff were pleasant and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable,The bathroom and toilet were clean and the shower was good. The rooms were quiet.

Good central location near to the local shops and restaurants, bars and such like. Big easily accessible car park, with plenty of room for guests.

Das Personal war sehr lieb und zuvorkommend.

Das Zimmer war wirklich schmutzig mit Flecken und Haaren auf den Kissenbezügen, einer eindrücklichen Staubschicht auf der Tischlampe und Spinnennetzen im Badezimmer. Die Handtücher rochen nach altem Essen. Wir hatten zum Glück Hüttenschlafsäcke dabei und nutzen die zum Schlafen weil wir den Bettbezügen nicht trauten.

Everything was good at the hotel, staff pleasant and helpful. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast very good.

Although there was no lift the stairs were wide and quite easy to use.

Very friendly welcome, and happy to store my bag until check in time. Room and bed were bigger than I was expecting for a single room. Didn't dine in but had a lovely breakfast the next morning and was well attended. I had forgotten a usb plug which the staff were able to loan me for the night! Also I was out late and let in with no issues by the night porter.

Quiet location, but still reasonably central. Good quality breakfast served in a pleasant, bright dining room. An evening meal was available if wished.

Fixed, high overhead shower above bath. The toilet was separate from the bath&sink. The sash windows had to be propped open if you wanted them to stay open.

The staff are amazing, it’s in a very good location for the town with plenty of parking, the breakfast was superb and we had a lovely meal

Staff were friendly and attentive.Facilities were good.Meals -breakfast and dinner were of a high quality,well-prepared and tasty .Service was quick.

Pillows were too firm ,need to have a choice.Bed was comfortable.

An old, traditional hotel in a quiet but central town location. The staff were all welcoming and helpful and the food in the restaurant was good value and hearty portions, along with the friendly service - I had leek and potato soup and the gammon on my 1st eve and both were very good. Unfortunately I didn't have time for a full breakfast, but juices, cereals, a few yogurts and croissants were available along with a full Welsh breakfast - again the service was very welcoming. The rooms are comfortable enough and a good size, with iron, board and fan available if needed. Plenty of tea, coffee and milk were available and it was clean, with a good TV. The bathroom again is a good size and clean The location is excellent with a good side and back car park

It's a very old hotel and as such some of the modern conveniences such as air conditioning and lifts not available - however it's got stacks of charm, and is very welcoming and provides what you need for a comfortable stay

The hotel is dated but this is reflected in the price and facilities are perfectly fine with the rooms a good size and what you need provided

Staff were lovely upon entering and very helpful

The fact that you had to be let in, in the night as we needed to go in and out a few times. We also couldn't smoke in the evening when we got back. The night porter was very nosy and asked alot of questions about what we were doing, we only needed to get a coat and then a wallet.

We were there on the hottest day of the year and there is no air con. Fans were provided and windows open . Staff were very friendly and food was hot and excellent great parking facilities and very central location for st davids orbpembrokeb national park

I would say that even for an old building it was well mantained. But having a small fridge in rooms would help in hot weather

The WIFI was great, the room was clean and tidy, and it was quiet and restful with a comfy bed.

There was a damp-patch on the wall with peeling paint by the bed, and the floor was very creaky and uneven.

The double bed was quite small as I’m used to a bigger bed but it was clean and such a lovely hotel.

Lovely welcome even though it was a very late arrival. Room was clean and comfortable. Great breakfast in the morning. Waitress was so helpful and friendly.

everything..the location was very good to go to Skomer..the room was very spacious and the staff right from the receptionsts to the lady serving food were very courteous..the breakfast( English Vegetarian) was given in huge quantity..totally unexpected.

Large, comfortable and quiet room with en-suite facilities. Floor was very creaky, even for an old building. Plenty of parking and fairly central location. Good breakfast included in price, so overall it was good value.

Creaky floors in our room were a bit annoying, but they didn't really affect our stay.

Service was incredible and breakfast delicious - it s an old hotel so expect a few wonky floors and creaky doors but really well looked after by the team.

Disappointed to find that there was only hand wash available in the rooms. Apparently waiting for the owner to fix dispensers to the wall. Also eating.whilst being listed as pet friendly dogs were only allowed in the bedroom and outside. Thank goodness it was not raining as had to have my meal outside as dogs were not to be left in the rooms alone. Also the garden is a paved area with s
