Sehr freundliches Personal, Lage
Narita By er dyrere end eks.

The breakfast was so delicious and the staff were very friendly - I wish I stayed longer!
De gehele ervaring was gewoon super gaaf
Perfect location in Narita, staff so very helpful and welcoming, kaiseki meals were amazing, onsen small but cozy, beautiful ryokan style rooms
Nothing really, guests just have to be informed that shared guest bathroom is the one within the onsen public bath facility, not separated shared guest bathrooms.
It was a perfect location, the room was exactly as shown in photos, the staff were friendly and very attentive. It was right across the street from the temple, which is a must visit.
The breakfast is difficult to eat if you are not used to traditional Japanese cuisine.
The hotel is right across a beautiful and ancient temple and it is only a 10-minute walk to the train stations. Our room was clean and staff were very helpful.
There was no bathroom in our room so we had to use the public bath (not a problem for us but this may be an issue for some shy travelers). Also, the parking lot was a bit far from the hotel.
Ganz tolles japanisches Frühstück. Sehr zentrale Lage.
Niets, ons verblijf was perfect.
Alles was geweldig. Boven verwachting.
Very clean and easy ride to/from Narita airport.
None
Great views, clean and traditional, with outstanding attentive staff.
Only wish dinner was still available. Email that goes out to booked customers should state that only breakfast is available at additional cost. Breakfast was also traditional and amazing.

Natto!
I arrived late and it was a long flight. Close from the Airport next day woke up early morning had a nice walk in the temple next door. very peaceful experience.
Location and traditional Japanese style.
Smoke smell in the building.
Velmi milý a příjemný personál. Pohodlný, prostorný a čistý pokoj. Podrobné a jasné instrukce. Velmi chutná a krásně servírovaná snídaně.
Great experience. Did not have the food, but it was excellent and is highly recommended.
It could use a bit of an update. It smelled a bit like it was out of the 70s, but overall that’s the vibe that it was going for.
Kind and friendly staff, and a spacious traditional Japanese family-style room, made our Narita layover an absolute pleasure. The ryokan is right in the heart of Naritasan village directly adjacent to the impressive temple complex and steps from an abundance of shopping and food along the Omotesando main street. Highly recommended for a short stopover in Tokyo instead of going all the way in to the city, for a rich experience of traditional Japanese accommodations, architecture and cuisine.
Wonderful facilities, Staff was very helpful in assisting our travel and local recommendations.
Friendly staff, clean facilities, and delicious dinnr
10 min walk from Narita Station
Superbe emplacement juste face au temple …
Un peu vieillot …
The atmosphere was everything! Liked it a lot for my last night in Japan! And the staff was absolutely fantastic and helped with everything
The charm, the food, the views, the experience, we're all excellent and exceeded our expectations.
Everything was great.
We had a long layover in Narita and Wakamatsu was available- it’s such a great place
Nothing - honestly it is such a gem. I loved it
The location is perfect. Seeing the temple from our rooms was amazing and the room size was big and spacious. The staff were all amazing and breakfast was wonderful.
Nothing.
Everything. Professional, helpful and friendly staff who went above and beyond. Clean areas beautifully maintained. Exqusite rooms. The tastiest Japanese breakfast and dinners. A fantastic location.
I liked everything!.
Favoloso.
I highly recommend having both dinner and breakfast here. The meals were beautifully prepared, and you can enjoy a truly traditional Japanese dining experience.
Its location at the end of a charming shop-lined road and across from the sprawling Naritasan Shinshoji Temple, one of the oldest Buddhist temple complexes in Japan, was perfect. After battling crowds at the temples in Tokyo and Kyoto, this one was blissfully free of most tourists, and we enjoyed a peaceful walk through the forest and loved the many gorgeous temple buildings. The ryokan itself was comfortable, and was the most traditional place we stayed on our trip. The rooms have tatami mats and we slept relatively comfortably on futons. We opted for the kaiseki dinner and were not disappointed. Be aware that you must order it some days in advance. We sat down at the appointed hour to our table, which was laid out with about 5 different dishes. That in itself would have been sufficient, but we were surprised when they continued to bring more dishes, at least 3 more courses. Everything was delicious, particularly the eel. The ryokan also has a free shuttle service to the train station in the morning (not from there, however, although the 1-km walk to the ryokan was not too bad, on smooth roads with rolling luggage). It's a perfect place to end one's trip to Japan, only a 10-minute ride to the airport from Narita Station.
Nothing, it was all delightful!
Fantastic breakfast, amazing dinner, outstanding service, I can recommend this place to anyone
The meals, services, and the room were excellent. The vibes match the quietness of the temple and the surrounding. The location is also within walking to the train stations (2 different lines). It is a nice walk to the station areas for anyone who likes to walk in the evening after dinner. Also the shuttle service to the station when checking out was very nice.
There was not anything that I did not like. However, I could smell the smoking on the 2nd floor (due to there was a smoking room on the floor) even though it did not really bother me or I actually saw anyone was smoking in the room.
Location wa’s superb. Around 1 km from narita station . Just infront of 1000 yr old temple. In market place
Non Availability of vegan food
Close to everything in Naritasan. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Comfortable room. Bathing facilities were clean and comfortable. Would stay again.
Nothing
The staff was very helpful and very nice
Super clean room and facilities. Friendly and hospitable staff with great attention to detail. Excellent location, offering a wonderful Japanese cultural and culinary experience.
Keep up with the great work 💯
Great little onsen central location
Poor policy of charging per hour for early check in After long flight , wanted £10 per hour for early check in , even though room ready
I had a great stay after a long flight from Melbourne, before taking a morning flight to Nagoya. I arrived in the evening - a taxi from Narita station is only 600 yen -just in time for a very delicious dinner and I was able to take a bath. The ryokan is located opposite the temple so I was pleasantly woken by the sound of the monks’ prayers and drums. I was able to take a short walk and visit the temple before the shojin ryori ( Buddhist vegetarian) breakfast, which was delicious and beautifully presented. Alas it was time to take the shuttle back to the station!
The staff were amazing and the hotel made us feel like we were really in Japan
Everything was fantastic
How well preserved are the traditions, aligned with the city of Narita. It is also extremely well located just in front of Naritasan Shinsho-ji Temple.
Even it was raining it was great to stay so close to history
Very traditional hotel, met all my expectations. Had the traditional breakfast and supper, recommended. Room was very large based off other hotels we had stayed at. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel is right across street from temple. Just to note the beds are at floor level, which is what I expected.
I really liked how welcoming the staff was. Even though I was struggling through it with broken Japanese, the staff was very polite and tried their best with English. The dinner and breakfast was amazing as well.
I noticed some small red dots on my leg after staying here. Maybe it was stress from walking too much but I'm not too much. Maybe I was allergic to the clothing or something.

Amazing location right outside the Narita temple. Reasonable walking distance from the train station (15 minutes). The dinner and vegetarian breakfast were amazing. Staff members were super helpful. I really enjoyed my stay here - it was a unique experience. Very relaxing before my flight back home.
Lovely big room facing the temple complex. Delicious feast for dinner served in our room. Staff was super kind.
Sleeping the first night after our arrival on the futon felt quite hard. We added an extra futon to our beds.

Great location A great vegetarian breakfast was served in our room by one of the lovely staff members.
Fantastic location across from the Temple complex. Excellent Japanese breakfast.
Nothing comes to mind.
The location was amazing. Our room overlooked the temple. There are lots of quaint shops close to hotel. Loved the authentic Japanese feel of hotel. Tatami mats and shoji screens and futon beds. We had supped included and it was fantastic, many wonderful courses that were traditional Japanese fare. The onsen was a relaxing way to end our long day.
The room was a bit dated and could use a refresh. For example, the fridge was yellowed and looked dirty on the outside, the foam cushioning of the seats of the chairs in the seating area was worn. The fabric was fine just the cushion needs replacing. The towels were very thin. The bathroom fan, in the sink room, was completely full of dust.

Amazing location next to Naritasan Temple. Nice street for shopping
Could not hold luggage after check out
If you are travelling with 1 or more people and not far away from the airport. This is the must experience. Due to many things like how it is center to Naritasando and the temple view is just truly stunning.
Nothing much to complain but I was hoping the meal is included to the booking and not a add on. However, due to wonderful service by staff and amenities including the Onsen which is super relaxing after a long travel (North America).
This ryokan is directly across from the temple in Narita. Such an authentic place to stay near the airport. The kaiseki meal was really delicious.
Onsen.
nothing
Loved the cultural significance and history. Staff were very kind and accommodating.
Not for me, but using a public bath was difficult for a couple of people in my party.
We loved our first experience at an onsen and the location was excellent
Nothing
This beautiful family owned Japanese Honten was exceptional in every way. The wonderful staff and amazing view of The Temple from our room. The onsen, the breakfast wow
Nothing to dislike
Het personeel,kamers en de locatie.
De bedden. Maar dat wisten we.
Loved my traditional room (a step back in time), the view of the temple across the street, the welcoming staff & the onsen that felt like my own private soaking area (it is smaller but I had it to myself the three times I went to it). I went to the 5:30am goma ceremony which was a really unique experience. The proximity of the temple to Wakamatsu allowed for this easily. Wakamatsu staff was so helpful in arranging late check out (reasonable fee), luggage storage, and a taxi upon my departure. I loved Narita as a last stop & enjoying some shopping on the street where Wakamatsu is without the crowds. Highly recommend! Veg breakfast was a treat too!
Cig smell by the interior smoking area as you come up the steps was the only thing I felt could change. Luckily the rooms and other areas did not smell like that :)
