De locatie en het restaurantje eronder. Lekker ontbijt.

De hygiëne kon beter, het voelde allemaal toch een beetje smoezelig. Onze kamer had uitzicht op de achterkant van het gebouw en het raam zat naast de afzuigkap van het restaurant beneden. Dus we hoorden de hele nacht de afzuigkap brommen.

Staff and location are excellent

The window in the room did not open and the room was quite warm and a little damp. We decided not to shower as it would make the room warmer and more humid and we had another place to go to in the afternoon.

The sea view/location was superb and only a short walk to several restaurants a coffee shops, etc. Breakfast exceeded expectations, well-cooked and served nice and hot. Room was clean. I really appreciated the courteous welcome and interactions with all staff.

Nothing serious, although I do like the option of a firmer pillow for sleeping (to each our own, though!).

Breakfast was amazing

It was full of old charm. There were steep stairs up to the room which could be difficult if you had mobility challenges or big suitcases. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was modern. It was clean and staff were kind and helpful. The breakfast was amazing. Would happily stay again!

Wifi was not connecting well in our room, but connected fine in the pub and restaurant downstairs.

Questo hotel affacciato direttamente sul porto di Stonehaven non è nuovissimo, ma è stato più che soddisfacente. La camera - anche se un po' vetusta - era molto pulita e dotata di tutto il necessario. La qualità del sonno è stata molto buona. Vicino ad un comodo posteggio pubblico gratuito (nel caso non si trovi un posto auto sul molo). Lo staff è molto gentile e disponibile. Nota di merito: ottima cena e ottima colazione presso il ristorante dell'hotel.

Simply lovely. Like a trip back in time in an old fishing town. The view at sunset was utterly magical amd even though the place feels like it is still stuck in the past, it was perfectly clean. Exceeded my expectations

Lage direkt am Hafen, schön eingerichtete Zimmer mit gutem Blick auf den Hafen, viel Auswahl beim Frühstück auch ohne Buffet mit a la carte Bestellmöglichkeit.

Am Samstag abend leider sehr laut, Fenster wenig schalldicht und daher bis 1 Uhr Lärm aus dem Pub darunter. Im Ort sind öffentliche Verkehrsmittel leider ein Fremdwort, der Weg vom Bahnhof ist lang.

La struttura è abbastanza vecchiotta, ci sarebbe bisogno di una bella ristrutturazione generale.

Incredible location with an atmosphere of a fishing town. A view of the haven out your window and delicious Scottish kitchen. Find some time to see to town, especially the metal sculptures along the beach.

Windows only opening a small amount in a heatwave-H&S gone a little overboard hence rooms uncomfortable. Having a great view, but being unable to feel it. Don’t think people fall out of windows too regularly.

Amazing location right on the Harbor of Stonehaven and only a few minutes drive from Dunnottar Castle. I arrived really late at night for my booking due to a flat tire and a closed down road-Craig at the front desk was awesome though and took great care of me. I'm so thankful for the amazing staff at The Ship Inn!

Chambre au dessus du pub qui le samedi ferme à 1h00 du matin. Petit déjeuner décevant, car buffet (si on peut appeler ça un buffet) très peu fourni : jus de fruits d'une marque très bon marché (pichet remplis sous nos yeux par le personnel) - 3 bananes - yaourts aux fruits ( pas de nature) - des paquets de cornflakes individuels bien chargé en sucre. Plus quelques plats proposés sur le menu. Propreté du restaurant laisse à désirer.

Ein Zimmer ging zum Hinterhof. Da dieser als Müllablade- Platz genutzt wurde, war es bis spät nachts noch sehr laut.

Die Zimmer mit Aussicht auf den Hafen sind ein Traum. Auch das Badezimmer ist für zwei Personen ausreichend groß und der Handtuchhalter war beheizt, was uns immer trockene Handtücher gesichert hat. Das Restaurant im Hotel ist wirklich zu empfehlen. Vor allem der "Catch of the day" (Fisch) war vorzüglich.

Da das Hotel in einem historischen Gebäude untergebracht sind, knarzt der Fußboden etwas. Das passt aber gut zum Gebäude.

Rapport qualité prix idéal. Chambre propre, cosy, petite salle de bain et jolie vue sur le port. Petit déjeuner généreux. Restaurant juste en dessous des chambres, carte et menu sympas.

Un peu bruyant parfois, il arrive d’entendre les voisins, et le soir, en Ecosse, on sort, alors comme la chambre côté port donne sur la rue, on peut entendre ceux qui profitent des terrasses.

Geen goede stoel, alleen een kaarsrechte eetkamerstoel waar je na een actieve dag echt niet comfortabel op zit. Buitendeur bijgebouw waarin onze kamer was sloot slecht en stond daardoor vaak open. Dit gaf een onveilig gevoel.

Situé dans un joli petit port, cet hôtel simple mais confortable correspondait à nos attentes. Le personnel y est sobre mais accueillant. Le petit-déjeuner écossais est tout à fait typique pour cette région ... petits appétits s'abstenir 😉

Les lieux mériteraient un petit rafraîchissement...mais il n'y a pas urgence.

Die Lage am Hafen ist perfekt. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich. Im angeschlossenen Restaurant kann man den Abend schön ausklingen lassen.

Die Lage am Hafen von Stonehaven hat uns sehr angesprochen. Das geschäftige Treiben vor dem Haus und die im Restaurant ausgelassen feiernden Menschen haben uns gut getan und uns dazu animiert, unser zurückhaltendes Wesen abzulegen.

Wir hatten noch ein Abendessen für 20.15 Uhr abgemacht. Um 20.30 Uhr hiess es dann, die Küche sei bereits geschlossen. Doch wir vermuten auch ein Missverständnis: wir hätten wohl rasch eine Speisekarte verlangen und rasch ein Menü bestellen sollen.

Room so small for 3 people no were to put your bags, toilet didn’t flush very well so had to use toilet in the pub, we were there on a Saturday night and was noisey until very late

we have stayed there prior to new ownership and was expecting a similar experience, we found the staff a little sharp, the food we knew the restaurant was well known for was overcooked and expensive for what we where served , the bedding and mattress was very uncomfortable, I wouldn't shower in the shower due to lots of mould around the door shower tray , breakfast, was told we're to sit very abruptly, asked for a poached egg, given a fried egg covered in oil, sausage bacon was pre heated so we had to leave the breakfast, I understand that you are paying for the location but I would not stay there again unfortunately, very different from our first visit ,very disappointed

L’emplacement et la vue depuis la chambre. Nous n’avions pas pensé à réserver et le personnel a réussi malgré tout à nous trouver une table même si cela était complet.

La chambre avec vue arrière était très bruyante le matin. La literie était dure. La salle de bain était petite et sentait l’humidité. Peu de choix au petit déjeuner.

We had a room overlooking the wee harbour and it was fantastic!

Such a cute little harbour with so much history and the hotel was beautiful. The food was excellent. With the staff were really helpful and nice. We were so impressed with Stonehaven. Literally loved it.

Only thing I would say is that because the Harbour is a popular place it was very busy when we got there and difficult to park on the street outside the hotel. We did park around on a free car park called the Backies. It wasn't a major issue just meant we had to walk a little bit back and forth to the car to get anything that we wanted. It was extremely busy inside the bar but we went for a walk and were able to watch Dolphins in the bay which was awesome. The hotel accommodated us with a table for dinner at 8:00 pm and the food was excellent and worth the wait.

In unserem Zimmer Nr. 5 konnten die Fenster nicht geöffnet werden und dahinter schauten wir auf den sich stapelnden Müll im Hinterhof.

Das Top-Argument für dieses Hotel ist seine Lage direkt am Hafen, und das wunderschöne, altehrwürdige Gebäude. Es gibt einige wenige Parkplätze direkt vor dem Haus, ansonsten einen grossen Gratis-Parkplatz im Hafen, 2 Minuten zu Fuss. Die Hotelzimmer sind über der Bar, und man hat einen separaten Nebeneingang. Klar, das Gebäude ist alt, aber alles ist liebevoll eingerichtet, und unsere Zimmer mit Blick über den Hafen waren gross, hübsch und sauber. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war sehr gut - man kann ein Menü bestellen, das an den Tisch gebracht wird, und dazu gibt es ein kleines Buffet mit Joghurts, Müsli und Saft. Die Preise sind ziemlich OK (zumindest für Schottland in der Hochsaison) - wir haben 145 GBP für das Doppelzimmer mit Frühstück bezahlt.

Das Haus ist sehr hellhörig, und bis etwa Mitternacht hört man den Lärm aus dem Pub im Erdgeschoss. Also entweder mitfeiern oder Ohrstöpsel montieren. Danach ist es aber herrlich ruhig. Im hauseigenen Restaurant war leider alles ausgebucht, also unbedingt vorher reservieren - das Essen dort scheint toll zu sein. (Das Essen im Marine Hotel direkt daneben war allerdings auch ausgezeichnet.)

The Ship Inn felt like traveling back in time. The location was very cozy and we had the most unique amazing experience. Walking distance to the castle, a beautiful walk to and from the train station and the seaside boardwalk made it a perfect location. Listening to the lively restaurant just outside of our room made the experience even more enjoyable.

Die Lage. Das Essen im Restaurant war sehr gut. Personal durchgehend freundlich.

WLAN funktioniert praktisch nicht im Zimmer. Wirkt alles etwas abgenutzt. WC wackelt, Flecken im Teppich. Extrem hellhörig, alles knarzt - an Schlaf ohne Oropax nicht zu denken. Check-Out bereits um 10 Uhr. Das warme Frühstück hat auch sehr lange gedauert.

Posizione ottima. Staff disponibile. Buona colazione (prevalentemente salata). Buon ristorante annesso alla struttura.

Abbiamo mangiato per cena un hamburger buonissimo e al mattino ci hanno servito una colazione top!!! Parcheggio libero sia davanti in strada che nel parcheggio poco distante.
