Reviewed Aug 4, 2026La situation, proche du Yaya restaurant, et des bons endroits de la Malecón, et des échoppes de rue pour le repas du soir. Bref très central, et très cosy! La terrasse en roof top permet d’avoir un peu d’air.
La terrasse de la chambre est plein ouest et est très très chaude. On peut néanmoins l’utiliser le soir.

Reviewed May 16, 2026The hotel is well situated with many restaurants and beach clubs nearby. Our dive shop was next door; Dr. Dive which was also fantastic. The property is very well maintained and clean and we loved the deck with small dining table right off our room. We were in number 7 which I believe would be the best with its partial ocean view. We had a mini fridge with a small freezer compartment that came in very handy. There’s also a deck on the rooftop which we visited once. It was nice but having our own deck was fabulous.
We read that there wasn’t a coffee maker so we brought our own. You’ll also need to bring shampoo and conditioner along with cups. But we got that taken care of so it wasn’t really a problem.

Reviewed Mar 23, 2026Het was een super aangenaam verblijf. Het hotel ligt een paar stappen van het strand, net aan de rustige kant van de boulevard. De host is super lief en gaf ons een heel warm welkom. Daarnaast had ze nog twee hele lieve katten die ons meteen thuis deden voelen. We vonden ons verblijf zo aangenaam dat we nog een extra nachtje hebben bijgeboekt. Als extraatje hebben we 2 dagen op rij kunnen genieten van de zonsondergang op het dak.

Reviewed Mar 18, 2026Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, die Einrichtung sehr geschmackvoll. Man fühlt einen Hauch von europäischer Kultur. Im Badezimmer hat ALLES funktioniert. Bequemes Bett. Die Besitzerin offen für Wünsche. Nur den Fahr- Plan für die Bussverbindungen muss sie noch lernen.
Die Beleuchtung der Terrasse kann nicht ge- steuert werden.

Reviewed Jan 31, 2026Soggiorno di 4 notti al pianterreno con cortile/giardino pieno di piante e un'amaca (e zanzare). Era la prima volta nella mia vita che andavo in un "Boutique" hotel : adesso capisco che il significato deriva dalle decorazioni originali tipo makramé o piante o piastrelle che danno un tocco speciale alle stanze. Camera di piccole dimensioni, tutta occupata da un letto super enorme. Pulizia eccezionale, lenzuola impeccabili. Spesso un gatto dei vicini ha spinto la porta zanzariera per intrufolarsi in stanza mentre ero presente. Bella terrazza sul tetto ombreggiata solo in parte. C'è acqua potabile da un bottiglione. Tre minuti a piedi dalla fermata del bus Caribe (ADO). La proprietaria italiana (da 20 anni) è super gentile e simpatica.
Bagno piccolo dove l'acqua calda (non bollente) arriva dopo ben 5 minuti (ho calcolato). Il wifi va a singhiozzo ma forse è colpa della linea elettrica di Mahahual che è venuta a mancare due volte (forse solo per un'ora).

Reviewed Jan 31, 2026Die Besitzerin hat uns super herzlich empfangen und war bei jedem Anliegen sehr hilfsbereit. Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen und dennoch ist es nachts ruhig. Wir würden das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Im Hotel leben außerdem zwei Katzen. Die Besitzerin ist sehr tierlieb – auch Streunerhunde dürfen gerne in der Lobby etwas essen oder trinken, sich ein paar Streicheleinheiten abholen und jederzeit wieder weiterziehen. Fazit: Wir können das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. 🐾

Reviewed Sep 17, 2025I spent an incredible week at this adorable hotel just steps from a sparkling clean beach on the Caribbean!! The location is so central near all shops and restaurants, yet it’s quiet. The hotel is decorated with a distinctly Italian flair and the service couldn’t be better. The rooms are extremely comfortable and cozy, and the roof garden and the view gorgeous. There are few papers of the Mexican Caribbean that are sargasso free, and Mahajual is one of them. Highly recommend the hotel and this area of the Yucatan Peninsula (the reef and snorkeling are remarkable!!) and their rates are an absolute steal.

The hotel is just a few steps from the beautiful Mahahual beach, right in the center filled with shops and restaurants. The staff is helpful and attentive, both to the guests’ needs and to the environment. A special mention goes to Micky for his kindness and availability: he recommended restaurants, exchange offices, grocery stores, and a laundry service. The rooms are super clean and comfortable (air conditioning and hot water always available). Each room also has a safe. I highly recommend this place!

The host was so friendly and attentive that we felt really cared for, you can see they really care about their place and ensuring that you have the best experience. The room was super clean and there was regular cleaning. The bed was super comfy. The hotel is moments from the beach and it has lots of great places to eat around it.

Reviewed Apr 27, 2023I moved from the Blue Reef that morning. Booked at Pachamama around 10am and walked there around 11am to see if there was any chance of an early check-in. Micky jumped up and said: “Of course, if the room is ready why make you wait!?” She handed me the keys, I took off to get my stuff. Mikael (not sure if spelling 😅) ran to help with my bags. They were kind, friendly and welcoming. Hotel is very well kept, clean and rooms are nice! I loved the kitty napping in the basket! 😻 My new go-to place going forward. Steps from the beach and close to everything! Highly recommend and will be coming back!

El hotel esta muy centrico, cerca de todos los sitios de buceo, restaurantes y playa. La dueña Micky y su gatita Pacha hacen que te sientas como en casa y se preocupa por tu comodidad. Tienen un servicio de masaje con Mickael que tambien recomiendo mucho. En general me parece un hotel muy lindo, perfecto para pasar un par de noches bellisimas en Mahaual.

Reviewed Feb 20, 2023I first walked by because the hotel hosts the cutest clothing and accessories boutique in its lobby; I jumped at the chance to book a stay here. It is truly a boutique hotel, chic and beachy-white, impeccably clean. Most rooms have private patio spaces. The memory foam mattresses are brand new. In conclusion, this property is a rare find in Mahahual and is arguably the most stylish. It is also super conveniently in the center of town, on a cute side street of shops and cafés, steps away from the beach and the bus station. I didn't want to leave.

We felt awkwardly unwelcome when we arrived, maybe she was expecting someone that looked different... Then her card reader wasn't working, we were tired and it was late so I asked if we could just deal with it the next day and she refused, and insisted I needed to either try other cards or find an ATM, as if I'd leave without paying. I had left all my other cards in Bacalar since this was just an overnight getaway. When we checked out she asked about the AC and TV controls and if we had left them in the rooms... why would they not be in the room? Did she really think we would take them? This was supposed to be a nice getaway gift to my dude for his birthday and instead was a sour reminder of racial prejudice and discrimination. Feel like there's this wave of foreign families that live in the area and look down on locals and I really am not here for it, learn some respect, humility and gratitude for the country that has allowed you a home. I will definitely not stay here again.

The owner was fantastic and always very kind and available to accommodate our requests and provide advices on where to eat and where to spend the day at the beach.
