Best Western Sunrise Inn & Suites

The breakfast was unbelievable. So much choice

Nothing

Location

Bed on the harder side and room was noisy all night

We liked the pool area and the breakfast

We waited an hour outside with 3 busy boys because our room wasnt ready when it was supposed to be. Receptionist was dismissive, cold, and mean

Rooms were very clean, great pool

Very unwelcoming staff, like it was a burden you were there, especially morning shift, breakfast was mediocre at best

The location was convenient for the purpose of our trip. The atmosphere was nice. The room was spacious. However the bed was quite firm. The alarm clock did not work at all (it was stuck on one time). The kitchen area was well equipped and convenient. Good value. The hotel is starting to show its age, though.

The only challenge was that there was an incident of someone violently smashing into our door while we were sleeping at 11pm. Reported to reception who found the people doing it and dealt with it. As a gesture the hotel comped our late checkout fee. Would definitely be the place to stay next visit.

Very good. Staff friendly and very helpful lovely assortment

Very good selection

Nothing

Large rooms. Extra mirror outside the bathroom. Beautifully set up.

All the same size pillows. I like when there are different options of pillows. That makes a huge difference for sleep.

Quiet location.

This is a great hotel, and we've stayed here many times. One of the highlights is the large breakfast area with plenty of variety. The pool, water slide, and hot tub are excellent amenities, and having guest laundry facilities is very convenient. The rooms are spacious, and the staff is always friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Unfortunately, this stay was disappointing because the pool area was completely taken over by a couple of large groups. There were more than 20 + people, mostly children with only a handful of adults. While I have no problem with kids having fun, the group was extremely loud and not considerate of other guests, including families with younger children who were also trying to enjoy the facilities. They essentially occupied the entire pool area for over two hours. We checked back several times, hoping things would settle down, but eventually gave up after waiting more than two hours. I think the hotel could do a better job of monitoring the pool area to ensure all guests can enjoy the amenities. Despite this experience, we would stay here again because we've always had positive visits in the past. I just hope the hotel takes steps to better manage the pool area going forward.

I loved that they had a little welcome bag for your pet. It was amazing and my little guy loved playing with the toy. Everyone was polite and friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

The pillows were not soft, they look fluffy but were hard

It's clean , quick response to issues. The breakfast was really good, lots of options and cooked well. Best on other hotels this was really good. And the pool is okay. Very condusive for families and little kids

It's really far from town most especially the mall

I stay here often and it's a very good hotel. Great value for money. Comfy and clean rooms. The pool and slide is a hit with the kids. Will stay here again.

Very Clean

the included buffet bkfst is very good. It's very handy to have a lounge/restaurant on site.

Breakfast was excellent! Two sizes of waffles, eggs, sausage patties, yogurt, cereal, bread, pastries, 3 kinds of juice, fresh fruit. Bed was very comfy. Having a separate bedroom was great.

We were looking forward to the pool and hot tub. Both were closed for maintenance for most of our stay.

We had a fantastic nights getaway away from the congestion of the big city to a much more relaxed environment!

100%

Overall, I enjoyed it all! The continental breakfast is amazing.

Hotel was dated and dark but service was great at check in and in the restaurant

The hotel was clean and rooms comfortable; location very convenient.

Unfortunately multiple kids used the hallway as a playground - horrible night's sleep. Breakfast was pretty standard, scrambled eggs left to be desired.

Location of the property was good we have stayed there once before

The front desk ladies were not friendly at all checking in the lady was not friendly at all, our room had what seemed to be puke all down the kitchen sink cupboards. During check out I mentioned the dirty room to the front desk and said maybe put a note to clean that spot in the room and the girl didn’t even write it down or care what I said.

This has been our go to for years. And it truly is the best we have came across. Clean, spacious and super comfortable rooms. The best part of our stay is the incredible breakfast and hot coffee we get in the morning prepared by Kim. She is the best there is!

Accommodating friendly staff. Clean comfortable room, amazing pool

We couldn't stay longer

Location is great just a short drive to everything you could want

Being it had snowed, it would have been better if the parking area could have been plowed. At least could have the sidewalks shoved.

The breakfast is always great!

We had to get the cleaning staff to come clean the room before we were able to shower :( were offered no form of compensation or anything for the inconvenience

Excellent breakfast selection

Wish I had known the steam room was discontinued

Coffee was good. Bed was comfortable.

The breakfast was poor - cold fake eggs, overcooked wrinkled sausages, horrendous muffins, no berries or sugar-free yogurt or granola options. Hockey kids & their parents were very noisy in the hallways. We had to call the front desk at 10:30 pm to complain. Only 1 functioning elevator. Elliptical programing did not work and the equipment was not clean. The one short mat in the workout room was not sufficient for yoga or any stretches for anyone over 5' tall plus it was very dirty. No options to hook up the "dumb" TV to Netflix or any other Apps. It's cheaper to book through Booking.com than directly with the hotel. It should be the opposite in my opinion.

Most of the time, you know what to expect at a BW hotel. This destination is not a new one for me, so I knew what it would be like. As in previous times, the breakfast left quite a bit to be desired. Instead of giving you free food, other BW locations (Leduc, for instance) give you $15 towards any item on the menu, and then they cook it fresh for you. If you choose the basic two-egg any style, toast, and a side (hash browns, fruit, etc.), then it's still free; but you can choose a better item from the menu and get a $15 discount if you so prefer.

Even though the hotel was not busy at all, we were assigned a room right by the elevators, even though we requested a quiet area. It was very apparent that the lady at the front desk was not interested in recognizing that I was a Gold member.

The breakfast was good, although we only had it once. The vicinity of the hotel was great! All amenities like shopping, food etc were either in walking distance or a short drive and was a short drive to the city if you wanted to go there.

The pool was cool. Our kids liked the slide. The water was not too cold.

The lounge was closed because of Christmas.

The staff were accommodating. The rooms were clean.

The false fire alarm in the middle of the night was terrifying and disturbing. My bedside lamp did not work. The sheets on the bed were hard and scratchy.

The hotel was beautiful, really great pool with a shallow side (good for little kids).

It was incredibly dry in our room.

Always the same high standard of service and great staff and rooms. The rooms are quiet and spacious, clean and well appointed. Very easy on and off the freeway and close to some great restaurants The rooms are clean, well stocked with everything you might need for your stay (including a sewing kit). No plastic cups here, real glass for your drinks including wine glasses. It was nice to have a ‘provided’ comfy robe to slip on after a long, busy day!! I can’t say enough about the breakfast!! and it’s included with your room price!!

great location

nothing

swimming pool

some staff not that really friendly

The hotel was clean, the staff courteous and the facilities were well maintained

Always a good stay every time we get to

Bathroom tile busted and wobbly tiles. Over all great night stay

Friendly staff

Great place to stay with our family. We will be back again.

Good

Had a great stay in the king suite. Comfortable and clean. Friendly staff.

Great pool. Great staff.

Very nice

Staff were rude, even when asked simple questions. Even when approaching them in a kind manner. Had some things being done to the property and couldn't give timelines as when they would be worked on or tested. Also when asking questions the staff " didnt know the answer" Ride stay = no bidding from me

Clean room. Safe area.

We very much enjoyed our stay, the staff was great, our room was great, the pool and water slide were great too! Continental breakfast was great. All in all a great experience

Great hotel, friendly staff, clean rooms

The location is great!

Lots of options to dine near by staff friendly kids loved the pool

Great property would stay again

Everything was amazing other than hair lol found hair in tub , toilet and on bed . I just took it off and went on with my day ! Staff was amazing!!! Oil was great , sad it all didn’t work but overall 9 out of 10

Overall a great property, but is looking its age. Time for a refresh. May want to consider different mattresses as they were not that comfortable. The room was very clean and provided a fridge.

Merci

Merci

Everything was excellent 👌

Check in was great, room was great. Continental breakfast was great. Only complaint I have is at about 11:30 on the Friday night of our stay, I came through the lobby to go have a smoke outside. I had to hear the conversation the girl with the purple and green hair was having with a tall male coworker with a pony tail, about how happy they were that Charlie Kirk had been assassinated and they were openly celebrating his death for all the guests in the lobby to hear. Left a bad taste in my mouth after that.

Very clean. Bed is super comfy. Love the 2 person tub in the king room

The lady at the front was very rude when checking Out

Your front desk staff are miserable

Great place! Great rate

Very clean and spacious rooms

Clean & friendly staff

We have 2 toy dogs. Room was very nice comfortable. east access to everything.

Some kind of noise that seemed to be coming from the bathroom pipes woke us up at 5:00 am

Clean and great staff!

Great in every way!

It was a very nice hotel and the staff were friendly and the continental breakfast was very good to top off our stay.

There was a couple sticky spots on the carpet in our room. It was a little crowded and busy during breakfast hour.

Very nice, clean, comfortable,friendly.. Overall excellent.

Clean

It is a really nice hotel
