Nach der Ankunft, übermüdet und reisekrank, gab es sehr nett Hilfe bei den Codes, um in die Wohnung zu gelangen. Zum Zentrum sind es nur 10 Minuten Fußweg. 2 Supermärkte sind noch näher. Das war für 2 Nächte Aufenthalt sehr praktisch.

Good apartment in a good location with free parking, but for me the bathroom was just too small.

Excellent location just a short walk from the centre of town. Quiet and peaceful location, with stunning mountain views. Good supermarket and a fresh food market across the road. The room suited our needs perfectly as a homely and comfortable base to explore Queenstown for a week. Plenty of space, well-equipped with a full kitchen, comfy couch and dining table, good heating, nice bathroom and double glazing.

Room was clean, fresh and tidy and had everything we needed.

I stayed in one of the units with a private balcony. Very lovely place and lovely view. There was a parking at the top so you wouldn't have to climb the stairs. The unit was perfect and basically had what you need!, cooking utensils, Tv, heater, toiletries. It was also a perfect spot, with a grocery just a 2 min walk, even walking down to the main CBD took 11-15mins . Would definitely stay again 😊

The self contained studio accommodation was very comfortable and was within 5-10 walk into town. A nearby grocery store was convenient. Bus to ski area is also located near by as are other tour pick-ups. I did set off the smoke alarm on a number of occasions due to it being too warm in the studio (not my cooking lol). The only critic I have was there was no plug in for the hair dryer in the bathroom. Communication with the owners was always very responsive. Overall I would highly recommend this accomodation.

We stayed a week for a skiing trip. We stayed here before, there are some improvements such as a ski equipment shed with drying facilities. It is perfectly placed for getting the ski bus to Coronet peak and walkable to town. Supermarket and grocery store nearby. Dining out in Queenstown is expensive so we made use of the kitchen for our meals. The apartment is showing a bit of wear but this didn't detract. It is large, well equipped with a nice bathroom. There was a bit of noise from the unit above us, a subwoofer was booming after the quiet time at 10pm but we didn't complain.

Our stay at Abba Motel in Queenstown was fantastic! The two-bedroom unit had all the amenities we needed and was a perfect home base for exploring. We loved that the motel was within easy walking distance of the main Queenstown tourist area, and the views were incredible. We had a great view of the gondola and the stunning, snow-capped mountains. Having our car parked right in front of our unit was a huge convenience as well. The only minor downside was that the laundry facilities were coin-operated. It would have been even better if there were a cashless option, but it wasn't a big issue. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend Abba Motel to anyone visiting Queenstown.

Lyndon was lovely and accomodating. Seemless experience. Nice to have the convinience of being close to town, have a supermarket opposite and a nice kitchen.

Good stay

Great communication, room was pre heated on arrival, room has had some improvements which are great with work still to complete over time. Room was perfect for us and great view of the gondola.

Great location, friendly helpful reception, easy flat walk to town, supermarket 1 min walk away, great to self cater as eating out in Queenstown can be pricey. Comfy beds, great views from outside your door. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

We had a fantastic stay at Abba Court Motel! The room was spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect—an easy walk into town but still nice and quiet. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and we really appreciated how easy everything was. Grocery store across the road (2 minute walk) as well. Highly recommend for a convenient, clean, and comfortable stay in Queenstown!

Convenient location

The apartment had a great view and a Netflix tv. Lyndon was very helpful with guiding us through the self check in.

Fabulous apartment in Queenstown with a lovely view & free parking. The host was excellent - sorted out luggage storage & arranged a taxi to airport on our last day. Clean & comfortable & walking distance to Skyline Gondola & also to town centre. Would recomend !

Fabulous apartment. Newer furniture and a well stocked kitchen. Beautiful view out the living room window. Parking was a little tight but manageable. Bus stops close by and easy walk to the beach and gardens. I would highly recommend this apartment for long or short stays.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment with views. You can see the gondola from the room. Great balcony, easy parking and 12 minute walk to the center of town. We Also saw so many people struggling up hills to get back to their accomodations this is right on Gorge street it's flat all the way to town if you have one of the upstairs apartments then you have 15-20steps. Owner is lovely

We arrived in the morning and staff ( or owner?) let us leaving the luggages so we could explore town. Same with check out, we were able to store luggages. Kitchen was very handy although it was an older property. Two supermarkets were across the street. About 15’ to walk to town. We loved the walk and did it two to three times a day. Stiff walk for some but we enjoyed it. Very good Mountain View. We really like this hotel .

Spacious and clean economy 2 bedroom apartment, with good amenities and in a great walkable location to the gondola, waterfront, shops and restaurants. There is also a handy supermarket just across the road. Great communication from the host. Happy to recommend this motel to other travellers :-)

I wouldn’t stay here again, especially not for the price we paid. Location was great, but the unit had paint peeling off the walls and looked shabby overall. The bathroom seems recently renovated, which was nice. It is noisy, as the unit sits on a main road. AC is only in the living room, so the bedrooms get hot if you sleep with the door closed. In the morning, the manager was waiting outside the door 15 minutes before check out, and was rudely pressuring us to leave. Look elsewhere for somewhere to stay in Queenstown.

Very nice stay and would definitely come back. Has an equipped kitchen so makes a good base if you’re staying a few nights and want to cook. Beds were very comfy. Water pressure could be a bit better but honestly still good

The apt was clean and comfortable! The host was attentive and friendly. The location is in a good place, easy to walk to town.

We had a room in the back- bad landscaping and walking by other windows too close. Bathroom had a smell. Denied late check out with a message that was inhospitable, a correcting tone. In the room printed information says to ask for a late check out- confusing. Cleaners arrived 2 minutes before then again made negative comments that made both of us so uncomfortable. Worst service ive had in New Zealand so far.

We recently enjoyed a great stay at Abba while exploring Queenstown.The location is great and was very convenient for us as we could walk 10 minutes to the city and two close grocery shops are nearby. Also as we had a car, there is a car park on site. Room was nice and well maintained. Thanks to Lyndon who gave us all the information we needed re check in and was very helpful.

The apartment condition is clean and very good. Everything you needed can be found in the apartment. The assigned parking slot is just next to the apartment that is great. The location of the apartment is another reason why we select Abba. A walkable distance (with zero slope) to the town centre takes around 10-15 minutes. Even though we rent a car, we sometimes prefer to have a walk to explore a little bit more locally. The host communicates with us the self-check in details timely in advance. After that, we don’t need to contact the host anymore as everything is clear.

Pros : central location, great views and close too everything, value for money. Cons : stairs to goto rooms in case travelling with luggage.

The superior studio unit was very comfortable, spacious and sunny. It was also clean and well-equipped with everything required for a few nights' stay. Abba Court is conveniently located; within approximately 10-15 minutes' walk of the town centre and only 3 minutes' walk from the nearby well-stocked supermarket. I booked accommodation for 2 nights prior to a planned tramping trip with friends and for a further 2 nights on return to Queenstown. Unfortunately we had to cancel our tramping trip due to bad weather 'up in the hills' and so I needed to adjust my motel booking. Lyndon was very helpful and willing to juggle the accommodation booking to enable me to stay on for several more days. I would certainly stay there again when in Queenstown and also recommend it to friends.

Good spot

We really enjoyed our stay at Abba Court. The room was very clean, cosy and warm. It was a nice stroll down to the restaurants and shops, as well as a great location for visiting other areas. The nearby supermarket is a couple of minutes away. Lyndon was very helpful, and we would definitely recommend staying here.

Lovely stay in a great area. Lots of space and great parking. Mould and chips under the couch, we also seemed to get a bit of skin irritation from the soft furniture. Linens were fine. Poor shower pressure but good temp. Heated towel rack was a highlight.

Nice view of the city and mountains from balcony and main room. Bathroom was pretty tight but updated and clean. The rest of the apartment was roomy. Parking was tight our first day, but in fairness they had a marathon going on so lots of traffic.

Easy walking distance of a supermarket and the entire downtown

Stayed for the marathon, perfect location for the shuttle pick up and finish line. Easy walking to the main shopping & dining area. Supermarket very close.

Perfect place to downtown Queenstown. Walkable about 10 minutes and you can save on parking. Close by to supermarket if you choose to cook. Highly recommended.

Loved our stay and really appreciated being able to bring our beloved pooch too. Good location just a short walk into Queenstown town centre. Free parking for the car and it’s an easy drive to go exploring. There is a laundromat on site, and a couple of supermarkets across the road - this makes it great to be able to settle in and enjoy Queenstown without worrying about having to go out and get things done. Kitchen has everything you need so you don’t need to eat out for every meal. Thanks Lyndon - we’ll be back!

Even though a budget room. It didn’t appear anything like the photos. The room had an unpleasant smell. Not all light bulbs were working and needs more light in the bathroom as the shower was very dark. The outside light did not work which meant for two female travelers, has safety concerns. Tv in the corner beside the bed. Could only watch properly from the dining table. Oven door did not shut properly, so we had to lean against the oven while food was cooking. We have stayed at plenty of budget motels before. This did not meet the standard.

The location was great and attention to cooking reqirements was excellent I would definitely stay there again.

I enjoyed my stay at ABBA Court very much. The highlights being, stunning views , a very comfortable and quiet apartment , great hot shower, good cooking facilities, comfy bed and nice fluffy towels. There is a big supermarket very close by, and the accommodation is a ten minute walk into town on the flat. If going on day tours, some companies pick you up from a point over the road from ABBA court. I would highly recommend a stay.

This is a practical set up in an excellent location. No frills, but everything you need for basic hotel living. Free parking if needed. There is no "front desk", so no immediate assistance available on the premises, but attentive manager available via email/texting. Comfortable beds and space.

Nice room has all that you’ll need for a short or long stay. Communication was great booking and conformations was a breeze…. Highly recommend for your next stay 👏

We had a great time staying here! The accomodation felt very cosy and comfortable - perfect for our week long stay. We even had a small kitchen which we couldn’t find at any other property for this price! Lyndon was very accomodating and very easy and reliable to communicate with via email and calls. The location was absolutely perfect - about 5-10 min walk to the city centre, 2 min walk to the supermarket, and right next to bus stop! It is also located on a very peaceful and quiet (and flat!) street which we loved. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Good location & nice relaxed 2 bed appartment

Enjoyed views and location of the property. Appreciated the back entrance so we did not have to carry our heavy luggage up and down the stairs. Appreciated the free shuttle service.

The property was very well looked after and in a great location. Checking in was a very easy process and although there is no reception it was very easy to get in touch with someone if help was needed. If I am ever in Queenstown again I will definitely be staying there again!

I am just finishing off my 6 night stay at Abba Court, I can confirm that my friend (18yrs) and I had a wonderful stay here. The rooms are exactly as depicted and the facilities available within the room catered for all our needs throughout our stay. Beds were very comfortable, the tv has most streaming forms e.g., Netflix. Out room had a beautiful view of the gondola and the mountains. Noise is very minimal and was not disruptive at all. Bathroom is lovely, towels were changed every three days for longer visits, and the living space is nice and open. The heater and heated towel rack was also a much appreciated addition in this cold weather. Its location is a perfect walking distance to the city centre (10min) with nice flat terrain, and the motel is also very close to the local supermarket, FreshChoice. Lyndon was very kind to us and quick to respond to any inquiries, would definitely recommend this accommodation to keen travellers.

The location and parking was great! The apartment was super clean and cosy!!

This is our second time staying here - and for good reason. Lyndon, Paula and Leia are awesome hosts and really welcoming. The rooms are warm, cozy and great value for money (considering you are right in the heart of Queenstown and only a short walk to the main action of restaurants and shopping). The views from the room are amazing - we had mountains views but could also see Lake Wakitipu. Supermarket just over the road. What more could you want? Will definitely be bak to stay again.

Once again, an awesome experience staying here. Firstly Lyndon is great, excellent service and very helpful. The room - warm , cosy and comfy, has everything we need. A shower with the perfect pressure and heat , a fully equipped kitchen. The beds are a dream to sleep in ! Queenstown is a hilly place so parking at the apartment was a bit of a challenge and stressful for us. Other than that the apartment was clean and beds were comfortable. The location is not too bad but requires a bit of walking to the city centre. Groceries shopping is nearby.

We had the budget accommodation but did not expect it to be dirty. There were cobwebs on the ceiling. The upgrades had not been done very well and the baseboards were grimy. The long detailed email for our arrival made us feel that we had been naughty in not responding quicker when we had no internet on our travels. We are staying at 18 properties during our visit to New Zealand and this is the most disappointing so far.

This place was fine. A bit dingy and run down. Tiny bathroom but nice shower. Tiny balcony without much of a view. Kitchen was well appointed. Beware the parking lot is tiny and requires some dicey parking skills. Weird old playground structures on the one little outdoor area lawn. But the location is nice - we walked to the market and to the base of gondola. Wouldn’t go back but the price was pretty reasonable for queenstown.

Made a last minute decision to stop in Queenstown and landed at a gem of spot. Nice-sized apartment with all the amenities. Perfect location; walking distance to everything. Wish I was staying longer, but will definitely look to stay here again in the future.

We had a comfortable stay in Apartment 11 at the front right of the motel. The parking is tight and the driveway is steep but that said the size and amenities (washing machine, dishwasher, heated towel racks and large TV)in the apartment outweighed this. The outside of the motel needs some maintenance (stairs, laundry, bins) but overall our stay was good.

I can’t recommend Abba Court! It was within walking distance to downtown, groceries, food, entertainment, etc. I unfortunately left a personal item to which the owner contacted me and graciously mailed it to a future lodging that I’ll be arriving at. How accommodating!

Nice apartment hotel within walking distance of town and lake. Markets for groceries nearby. Easy check in and checkout but parking is somewhat limited. Overall would recommend!

Bed was comfortable, tv had all the options you want (netflix, Disney plus ect.), big space, good kitchen, , poor water pressure however. Besides that, perfect stay for tourists in Queenstown. 10 minute walk from town. Brilliant view in the mountain rooms!

The apartment we stayed in had no wardrobe to use for our 12 night stay. Only 4 coat hangers to 2 of us. We had our room serviced twice during our stay. This was not on any information on their website. Not vacuumed at all and no broom for us to use to at least try to clean ourselves. We had to ask for tea bags and sugar to be replenished. The location is on the side of a hill and access is via a very steep driveway. We walked everywhere and going down the steep slope aggravated my already very sore knee. Had I known all this I would not have booked. Not. Cheap to stay but very little service offered for the price and length of our stay.

Great unit in great location. Plenty of space. Cool view. A shower that did not leak onto the bathroom floor. Made use of laundry downstairs. Communication was great until an unscheduled towel exchange, when they got snippy after giving us only half the towels they removed. But, they brought more. A location plus is it's a couple blocks away from the CBD chaos and traffic. And grocery & gas station within 100 meters. Be ready for some outdoor stairs.

Loved the location of this property within 5-10 minutes walking to Queenstown City Centre. A little cafe/supermarket across the road with good coffee. Owners were super nice and place was clean although a bit dated on the outside, and bathroom was very small the inside was updated. Overall really good apartment and really enjoyed our time here.

This hotel is the last hotel we stayed in New Zealand. This is a no contact hotel, and when we arrived, the room is not locked with keys in the room. I am not surpised with this as some Australia hotels practised this. Hotel is very clean, and we can park right next to our room. We have all pots, utensils, plates, and even salt and pepper! Room is very clean as well. We stayed for 2 nights. Note that there is no house keeping to change the towels or make up room if you stay for more than 1 night. We are okay with this, but if you are not comfortable with no make up room or change of towels, you may not like this hotel. Overall, we like the stay for 2 nights and recommend this hotel.
