315 Motel Riccarton

Good location. Close to restaurants, supermarket and public transport. Value for money.

Nothing

Comfortable bed, clean quiet room

Close to the university

Beds were hard 2 bedroom unit noisy next to road

Great location close to the university, very clean and comfortable

We didn’t have breakfast. The location was excellent for who we were visiting

No issues with anything

East access to the property. Quiet despite located on the busy road.

The ventilation in the bathroom was not as expected.

The bed was comfortable.

The hot water in the bathroom didn’t heat up in the basin. The fridge was noisy. The drains kept gurgling so they must be slightly blocked. The room could be organised so that the seating was directly opposite the TV

Good value, nice and clean and tidy, great to be able to access the gym

Clean and comfortable

Location friendly staff

Friendly staff clean & tidy

The location was great, room was spacious, clean & comfy bed, the staff were friendly & there were laundry facilities.

Having a sign that says please make up my room.

Stayed before and would stay again. Clean convenient and easy, in a great location. Easy parking and plenty of food choices in walking distance.

Nothing really. Clean comfortable Nothing flash but everything was fine. The only slightly annoying feature is the self closing doors which means it’s very easy to lock yourself out.

Beds were comfortable, lovely staff

Room was tiny for 3 ppl

Central location but quiet . Room was clean and tidy and warm

Need a shelf in the bathroom to put shaving cream, toothpaste etc

Lovely staff and very much accommodated my early check in request at short notice, room was clean and as showed in the pictures when I booked it everything I needed and in proximity to where I was needing to access during my stay

It is on a loud busy road, however I knew this prior to booking and wasn’t as bad as I was expecting

A clean and affordable room in a good location for us. Nice comfy bed and newly renovated bathroom.

I asked for an upstairs room as the photos of those rooms looked great, but ended up in a downstairs room that didn't appear to have as much room. Extraction fan in the bathroom didn't do anything, and the shower sprayed water all over the floor.

OK

We were kept awake all night with night road works. This had been going on for a few days and we not not given any notice when we checked in. VERY cramped lounge/dinging/bed room

Easy access. Good location

Great location, cleanliness and comfortable.. friendly staff ..we get to check in 1 hr earlier and they found a room with bigger size bed at no extra cost.

Wish there isca mirror in the room apart from the only 1 in bathroom

Well organized. Small but had all we needed. Bed was comfortable.

The staff were excellent. Thank you for looking after my key when I left it behind!

Location: Visiting grandchildren at Canterbury University. Proximity to Riccarton Mall. Bus Stop right outside (both sides of Riccarton Road. Nice and Quiet. Room: Clean and new, all facilities fine for the two of us. Got 'small' when the two kids visited.

Always hard to rate the beds as they're just not 'ours' - but certainly not UNcomfortable

Prompt and quick response from staff.

Helpful staff. Clean comfortable room. Good location.

Staff are always accommodating to our needs and always making us feel welcome. Everytime we have booked here our rooms are always clean, comfortable and spacious for our needs. Daily turnover is also a great asset

Nothing at all

The staff were lovely and communicated well. The bed was really comfortable. The room was clean, warm, well equipped and sound proof. The location is great, central to everything.

I liked everything.

Beds

Bathroom lack of horizontal surface to store

Friendly staff, comfy room, clean facilities

The Room was very clean and tidy and plenty of amenities that made my stay comfortable.

The only thing that I recommend would be to have a space that you could hang your toilet bag on or at least a place to put it on a bench.

Close to my mother’s rest home. Although on Riccarton Road, my unit was further back and road noise was minimal. Cosy for me, on my own. I liked the sky light window. Friendly staff.

The shower door opens the wrong way making entry/ exit awkward.

Excellent location

Wonderful staff and facilities. Fantastic location. Walking distance to supermarket, restaurants and shopping.

Clean good parking good location

It was nice and warm

Quiet room even on busy Riccarton road. Very convenient to go Church corner shops and Westfield mall, didn't need but the bus stop was right at front.

Blockage of bathroom vanity and bath tub.

Good place yo stay for a quick Christchurch stay. Good communication from the staff.

Noise from upstairs unit was very loud. Fortunately they settled down at a decent time.

Like staying their

Like everything

Cosy room and offstreet parking. Great to have a hot plate for cooking.

Had to climb on a chair to reach crockery.

Parking space was ideal right outside our unit. Good location for our needs. The Disability Bathroom worked well

The disability studio area didn't accommodate a person using a walker to move around. My Carer needed to move beds around so that there was enough room and the using of a bed lever on the "normal" side for getting out of bed.

Overnight stay after a late flight into Christchurch. Lovely warm room with everything we needed for our stay. Will stay again.

We loved everything. From the moment we stepped into reception we were greeted by our lovely host who was very accommodating to our needs. The room was ideal. Private and quiet, absolutely sparkling clean, warm and cozy. The bed was the most comfiest bed I've ever stayed in, in any accommodation. The pillows were perfect, the towels were soft and fluffy, just absolutely perfect. The staff were so helpful and friendly, they genuinely were happy to see you. Housekeeping made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Thank you so much for providing such a wonderful experience at your accommodation. This will be first on our list for future stays.

That we didn't stay long enough! We would have loved a longer stay here.

Everything staff are amazing so friendly. Very clean and close to everything I needed

Very clean

Clean & comfortable, staff very friendly and accommodating.

Couldn't get bathroom heater to work, no compendium (information booklet) in room, vanity in bathroom too small, nowhere to put a toilet bag.

Nice communication with getting my key after hours. Amazing clean room.

Staff and facility was awesome.

Friendly staff

Beds quite firm

Great studio with everything I needed. Staff super accomodating when I stuffed up the dates of my booking.

Very easy to find. Staff were very helpful. The bed was very comfortable Kitchen was very good

Not much room only a bed no sofa. Only a small table. Only 1 mirror I asked for a disabled room but then the price went up by 30 dollars Not good value for money at 392 dollars for 2 nights

Lovely and clean

Close and central to all the places I needed to go and easy access.

Nothing it was great

The location was great as it was away from the traffic noise.

The bed was a little bit hard.

Very close to 2 malls. Bus service fabulous.

Very long untidy grass and weeds at back door of unit. There was a table but no chairs.

Downstairs room could hear people above

I loved the spa bath, the room was well presented

The cook top, both elements could not make water boil, top a long time to cook my food.

The manager greeted us at check in and told us everything we needed to know about getting around Christchurch during our stay. She was friendly, funny and very helpful. Will be staying again.

The size of the room plus not much space to put smaller bags.

Quiet, easy to book in and stay

Dont like the "wet" bathroom
