Geraldine Motels

It was very comfortable and everything we could have wanted. We had left home Christchurch staying at Oamaru Invercargill then to Geraldine and all our bookings ran smoothly. Back home in Christchurch now.

Comfy, clean, well appointed, close to town, sunny and host very friendly and helpful.

Absolutely everything! Excellent value for our money, and the owners were very lovely. This was our first time staying in Geraldine, and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

A little renovation

Delux 2 bedroom unit - large unit with decent sized couchs in living room. Beds OK.

Arrived to a very cold unit. Would have made it much more welcoming had it been warm, instead took a long time to warm up the unit. Bathroom good size but had a very small handbasin which was difficult to use.

Great stay close to Cafe, restaurants, movie theater. Very helpful staff.

Thank you for a lovely one-night stay at Geraldine Motel. We really enjoyed the unique double-storey building, and everything was clean and comfortable. The only small issue was that the Wi-Fi was a bit slow at times, but other than that, everything was great. Thank you for your hospitality!

Bed was very comfortable. Shower was strong & hot.

It was a boring night. Limited channels on Sky TV (no movie channels, wtf!) and the wifi wasnt good enough to stream Netflix on my laptop.

Everything was great. The room was spacious and warm, the shower was good, the kitchen facilities were good as well.

Units are very clean. Great location, just a short walk to shops.

The rooms are aging a little, but all very well looked after

This was a very hard stay for my elderly mother and I, we first got put in a delux twin studio apartment which felt like it was falling apart, unsanitary and stunk terribly of mould and some type of strong amonia cleaner, it was unbearable so we got put in another room, this was better but still stunk. We both developed coughs and flue like symptoms during our stay, Mum had recently had bronchitis and this flared up. The owner was good about the situation but I think a lack of upkeep and the terrible smelling cleaner they use are causing issue. Wouldn't recommend if you want a hygenic feeling place to stay.

Only stayed for one night, we got a takeaway and a good bottle of wine and sat outside under the stars. Great location to town.
