We needed more large bowls to have dinner. Also, we wished to have a pot to boil pasta.

Friendly staff quiet location

Very friendly and obliging staff and a room that met our needs as we were sheltering from a storm. They even offered us free breakfast although we had already had something. The bed was comfortable.

A few things looked a bit tired, there was an old car parked in the carpark that looked as if it was being stored there, and our unit seemed to have a surplus bed and a disconnected fridge stored there. It met our needs well as a short notice booking with room for three of us.

The 2 bedroom apartment was very spacious and comfortable. The host was very friendly. Facilities were good.

Location was OK but not near any restaurants/coffee shops/etc so had to drive to those.

No bedside power sockets on one side of bed. No registration of vehicle plates - someone else parked in our space one day but I had no idea which room they were in.

We made our own breakfast. We had a large TV.

There was nothing in the shower to hold onto. Quite slippery. Not good for elderly or disabled people. We were provided with fresh towels every day.

Room was very clean, bedding very clean. Beds were super comfortable and room was well stocked with everything we would need, extra points for the extra towels provided. Aircon was beautiful. Kids enjoyed the swimming pool and all interactions with staff were very good.

More sockets for phones or others items would be great, specially when large group is staying. Exhaust fans would be great in the toilet.

Price wise was reasonable for this time of year and also very clean and modern and also very family orientated which you dont get these days

It was clean, close to town. Man in office was welcoming on arrival and cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. Unit was well cleaned by them.

Our unit had a large security light outside the door. This went on and off all night, lighting up the full unit like the sun was shining in. After 2 nights of limited sleep, we went to the office to talk about if it could be switched off, we were told a firm no it can’t by the cleaning lady who relied the message sent back the from the owner/manager out in the back room. It was disappointing they couldn’t come out and discuss this with us personally. We tried again when leaving and no one came to the office when my husband took the key in. The grounds need maintenance and there is a trailer of rubbish sitting next to an entrance with a large shipping container out on the lawn. The pool area needs some maintenance and isn’t appealing. We weren’t aware this was a pet friendly motel, but reasonably quiet considering the amount of dogs there. With some interior and exterior maintenance, this could be a nice motel.

Studio mit älterer Einrichtung, das sehr sauber war. Die Damen für die Zimmerreinigung leisten hierfür viel und müssen sich sehr beeilen ! Bei nur 2 Nächten wurden die Betten gemacht, die Handtücher und Geschirrtücher gewechselt und der Müll entsorgt; damit haben wir nicht gerechnet. Kochutensilien umfangreich vorhanden.

Unser Studio hatte keine Küchenzeile wie angegeben, sondern neue Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank und einen Minibackofen mit 2 Kochplatten darauf, welcher aber nicht gut funktionierte. Das Geschirr konnte nur im Bad gewaschen werden ! Das Badwaschbecken war in einer Höhe von etwa 70 cm angebracht. Man muss sich bücken.... Die Fläche um den Pool war schmutzig, die Stühle verrostet, Plastikstühle verwittert . Es gab kein kleines Becken, um sich die Füße zu reinigen vor Nutzung des Pools und Kinder sprangen ständig mit schmutzigen Füßen ins Wasser. Für uns war Baden im Pool daher ausgeschlossen. Der Gästewaschraum mit 2 Waschtrocknern und einem Handwaschbecken war sehr schmutzig, die Armatur des Handwaschbeckens komplett lose.

Pool was great, was family orientated place, good if you have a pet.

While it wasn't as close to the venue as I would have wanted it was only a 5-minute drive away so that was good. They were very accommodating when I asked for a later check out time which my friend and I really appreciated.

The place was clean, just a little tired. Close to conference venue, so suited our needs for the weekend stay. The pool was very relaxing after a hot day.

Their website states breakfast available, but this is no longer the case. They did offer to organize breakfast, but I'd already decided to make a supermarket run. They did offer the use of their company vehicle for our supermarket run, but we declined. The drapes let all the security lighting in, so it was difficult to sleep.

Just an excellent well maintained property. Nothing fancy but everything you need with a friendly helpful staff.

Just one thing the shower, it was so slippery dangerous actually I brought a plastic mat to go inside the shower to stop from slipping or falling over. Cluttered parking especially backing out of the Motel.

Ran out of hot water. One mattress was poor. Kitchen area was good. Not really good accessibility for a wheel chair or walker .

Very clean and tidy with comfortable beds. Water pressure in the shower was fantastic. The kitchen was supplied with everything you needed to cook with. Enjoyed the swimming pool. The motor inn is in a great location just a short drive to the city centre. Would recommend.

Room was spacious, new appliances, clean, all amenities provided...but overall? - not a motel I would visit again. I paid $207 but only worth $180 for the 1 bedroom apartment I purchased.

The photos of this accommodation aren't current. The premises is scruffy, untidy and run down. The spa pool was not clean/sanitary and the outdoor furniture old, rusty. From the outside the motel looked like it needed some maintenance. The reception smelled like urine and the owner's presentation was as scruffy and unkept as his motel. Owner was pleasant but first impressions left me second guessing whether or not I should stay. The female at reception who phoned my room was not very friendly. The shower pressure was way too high, my kids couldn't use the shower because the pressure hurt against their skin and the fridge was so old it didn't keep anything cold. The air con did not blow cold air, it seemed to be stuck on heat (I have the same air con at home so know the settings). The motel was a disappointment.

It has been such a breeze with Ace High Motor Inn. Booking was easiest, getting ok for my dogs easy as. The owner's welcoming approach made this a great stay - a genuine Kiwi warmth. Super helpful made sure we were aware of the back area dog exercise place. Place is a little old but it was clean, good shower pressure, bed comfy, has got all the extra things we needed. Place was quiet and we had a good night's sleep
