Location was perfect. The aesthetic was nice and relaxed and very eclectic in an inviting way. Quiet, despite being on the edge of downtown and near the small airport.

So close to everything, ease of parking - well equipped.

It’s a ground floor suite with not much access to natural light.

Well appointed and centrally located We could walk to the Main Street and I had fabulous waterfront walks in the morning There was coffee and tea and all the amenities for the kitchen

The cedars out front were for privacy , but it made the room dark But that’s the only complaint

Right in the heart of interesting old town we liked that there was free parking and an easily walkable location. The apartment is comfortable and well appointed. Great kitchen with full sized appliances and full dining table. Cosy living room too.

We worked with the property manager to correct some errors in the listing. The rooms are dark without good reading lights.

Beautifully designed, furnished and equipped - very welcoming and retreat-like. Excellent kitchen layout and equipment for those who love to cook (me). The location in town is ideal: edge of downtown and a short walk to trails and parks; short walk to groceries and cafes. The host is a superb communicator, and very knowledgeable about Nelson and area. She is responsible for the warm and homey space, and is sincerely committed to providing a high quality experience

There are no negatives to the property or facilities themselves - but do plan your first time Parking in advance, from the Host’s instructions. It’s a little tricky if you’re not familiar with Nelson

Not a thing. All perfect.

The accommodation is at the back of the property and the apartment we took was on the ground floor. This made it very dark, but given the high temperatures in Nelson when we stayed this ended up being a real blessing as it kept things cool. The apartment is well located - quiet but within walking distance of the town centre. It is well appropriated, carefully looked after and Maria the host was attentive without being intrusive. For a high end holiday rental this is what is expected.

This was not a problem for us as not all parking spaces were used, but the parking is tight - if they were all in use you would need to be a considerate driver and you would you need to be confident in manoeuvring your car in small spaces.

Close to central Nelson - restaurants, shopping, historic sights and museums.

No views.

Mistiso's Purcell two bedroom suite was a wonderful place to land. The accommodation was large and very well equipped. There was plenty of room and it was nice to have a small table off of the suite and a small balcony on which to sit and enjoy your coffee or glass of wine. Maria is most definitely a detail girl and the added touches and decor were much appreciated. The location is ideal with a Co-op very close by. It is very close to Baker Street for shopping and all of the great restaurants. The kitchen is ideal for meal preparation and there is a good sized dining table. The beds were very comfy. The Purcell Suite is a lovely place to stay.

There is a bit of noise from the dentist's office above but not enough to impact our 5-star rating of this accommodation. We would definitely stay here again.

Well appointed, with ice and coffee supplies. Good bed. Nicely decorated.

It is a basement suite, which would have been nice to know. Could have used luggage racks.

It felt like a home, clean quiet, and cute!

Location. Cozy n quiet yet steps away from downtown. Just adding to your Nelson experience. The apartment is definitely Cool!! Furnishings, decor and subtle nuances. Well thought out with the traveler in mind.

Very nice, clean and cozy apartment in a good location. We used it to go skiing in Redmounten and Whitewater. Nelson itself was also nice for a walk and has some nice shops and restaurants.

The location is wonderful, right in town, making it convenient to get to everything downtown has to offer. The space was very cozy. The kitchen is equipped with everything one would need. The radiant floor heat kept the temperature perfect. The bed was very comfortable

It was very cute and comfortable, location was awesome. We liked it so much we stayed for another night and we will be back.

Was a bit hard to find the parking lot. Some plates were not cleaned properly.

Lovely decor and all the amenities of home. Perfect location.

It was a little warm, being on the top floor. The air conditioner was too loud to have on overnight.

The location was THE BEST to enjoy the night life , and the food scene that we were after. It was such an easy walk to either the water front or the main street. Thank you for the excellent accommodations. The place is very private and cute.

Everything! Our room (Valhalla) was spacious, cute, clean and comfortable, and had everything we could have possibly needed for our stay plus more! The whole property is kept very well maintained and it’s apparent that Maria takes pride in her work and has thought of every detail. The location is very convenient for downtown Nelson also. We were fortunate enough to meet Maria during our stay and see another incredible property of hers. Would/will absolutely recommend Maria and her accommodations!

A quiet retreat in a charming home filled with character and comfort - the perfect place to rest and rejuvenate.

The coffee beans provided were horrible, which was surprising .. while Nelson has such amazing coffee shops, people may still want their first cuppa in their accommodations before venturing out?

A very quaint apartment very close to the downtown core. Antique themed decor added to the ambiance.

It took 3 hours for property owners to respond and provide me with a location and key pass code for the propane tank. Had to purchase a new tank $80.00 just to cook a meal I was so looking forward too.

Really comfortable bed. Great location easy walk to restaurants and cafes. We didn't do any cooking but the kitchen looked like you would have everything you needed if you wanted to cook.

The sloping ceilings were a problem you had to be aware all the time that you didn't hit your head. The bed was a bit close to the wall on one side with no bedside table.

Quaint spot with all the amenities we needed

The apartment is very cozy yet there is space to spread out. The kitchen is fully stocked with pretty much anything you need to prepare a simple omelette, or a Holiday meal. The beds are amazingly comfortable. The sheets were so soft and a delight to sleep on. The apartment we stayed in was so quiet that we slept far later than we normally do. This was our second stay in this apartment, and it is now our go to place to stay in Nelson.

We found nothing wrong with our stay, It was a wonderful trip.

Good color. Brown interior not white. Good location. Set up for cooking. Firm bed. Good for back.

Cozy space with great kitchen and the location is perfect.

Super comfortable and relaxed. Felt like staying in your own place away from home. Great location and parking. Warm. Recycling. The fully fledged kitchen in the room was ideal for when we wanted to make dinner at home. If I'm back I'm Nelson I will try to stay here again .

The heat was set quite high when we arrived. I believe it was almost 80. Not a big deal but because of the heated floors it takes so long to cool down we were quite warm for our one day stay.

Loved the location and the suite itself. Very close to restaurants.

I really enjoyed the feel of the place, and all the care that has gone into the little details of the place, the artistic touches, the warmth and character.

The only thing for me were the lights across the street that were obnoxiously pointing toward the b&b, unfortunately. This is nothing against the hosts, just a reality of the location. Considering this is a downtown location for people who want that convenience, naturally there will be more noise and lights than a remote location.

The location is great. It was easy to walk down to the lake or in to the upper town area. The host was attentive and friendly. It was great to have a kitchen that included essentials. The space was cozy and comfortable.

The bed wasn’t king-sized. It took a while for the place to heat up. Although it wasn’t a huge issue, there was a lot of noise from the dental office directly overhead from 7:30 am to 5 pm. It was very quiet at night.

weekdays dentist upstairs can be noisy early in the morning but not always, could not turn off the rangehood and was noisy at night but is being fixed soon apart from these minor concerns it is a great place to stay

All of it! Host was amazing, suite was really sweet! Central to Nelson.. it was perfect! Great place for a couple to stay, very romantic!

great locATION

I booked the ground floor room and could hear the activities from the room above me. I would recommend light sleepers like me to book the upper floor rooms

Great location walking to downtown services and restaurants. It is also very convenient to leave the city for many trips in the area, including to Kaslo, and the Slocan valley. A very comfortable suite, with an air conditioning unit, which we used in the evenings.

Headroom a bit low in the corners. We stayed in the Valhalla, an attic suite, so slope in the corners of the ceilings. A tall person over 6 feet would need to take care, but certainly not a real problem. There could be a real ( free standing?) clothes closet, but it would be very difficult to place in the space of the suite. There are several racks for this use, which we found to be sufficient enough.

Amazing condition. Excellent job of reno on historic property. Nice parking in sheltered area on back of property. Nice yard. Nice kitchen. Love coffee beans and grinder provided.

We were very central with a comfortable place to stay with all facilities were well maintained and plentiful. 2 great nights in a lovely quirky flat, and fun town. Staff very responsive , thank you Maria
